So, gotta do "Peter's route-" wonder what that is- I think before being snapped out of my thoughts by Steven. "Hey...what's on your mind, Y/n. You weren't listening to anything I was saying- were you thinking about Peter? Or the bosses?" The phone guy asked, putting his hands on my hips.

Before I was able to reply, something in my mind told me to either lie or be truthful. So far- nothing made me not want to lie to Steven so I said. "Oh, I was thinking about Peter! He seems interesting- maybe me and him can be friends!" I thought about it, yeah! Friends with a nice, cute phone guy- wait what- what are you thinking, you just met him! He may be taken you fool. I thought to myself, sighing a bit. "Yeah maybe, but be careful- he has an ex-wife who is still into him.-" Steven warns me, tapping his legs with his fingers. "O-Oh- okay! Ill be careful!" I say happily. Awe, I don't think she'd be that bad, right? Probably just divorced for something like cheating or not in love anymore- I thought...but little did I know- that same women would show up today.

A younger woman walked into the pizzeria just as Peter got back. "Heya there, Peter! What'd the bosses say?" I asked sweetly as I could feel the woman give me a death stare. "They said they're free so, they can interview ya right now, u-uh they are over in the back- dark oak door with the name plate "Val's Office"- should be easy to fjnd!" He said sweetly, even though I had only just met him, he was already super sweet and so caring. Definitely gonna try and be friends with him! "Thanks, Peter!" I said happily before waving as I went to look for the bosses. Eventually I found them!

I opened the door to find two phone guys, one had an older model of a rotary phone in yellow, he was tallish, the other had a newer rotary phone model in navy blue, he was a bit shorter. I walked over to the blue phone headed man, who had the nametag of 'Val'. "Heya there- uh, Val! Im Y/n and uh- I'd like to apply for a job!" I said sweetly, he looked over at me. "O-oh, hello t-t-there, u-uh yeah- let's g-get started on t-the interview!" A more feminine and stuttery voice than I expected said, o! A transgender- f to m, am I right, Narrator? I asked in my mind, very curious about Val 'yep, but you won't have a date route with him, he is gay af-' Narrator responded, that made sense.

The interview was a success! I got the job. I thanked Val and walked out of the office to find Peter against the wall, looking very annoyed. "Hey, Peter? You okay?" I ask softly, he looked over at me and sighed. "N-no...It's my Ex-wife, Caroline. She followed me to my job today...I- i can't deal with her...she changed, and not for the better." He said with annoyance in his voice. "Dont worry, Peter! If ya need, ya got another friend here to help ya!" I said, smiling towards Peter. He chuckled and hugged me. "Thanks, Y/n, here, have my number in case ya ever need to ring me!"

Yes, got a new fri- is that a bitch staring at me? I looked over to see the young female from earlier staring dagger at me, I swear, if looks could kill there'd be a mass murder. "Welp, I gotta get back to work" Peter said, moving away from the hug. He waved goodbye and walked away, and as if she was Satan, the bitch from before was right next to me. "Heya there, sweetie! Im Caroline, nice to meet ya!" The woman said, I shook her hand. "Nice to meet you, Caroline, I'm Y/n! I heard you're Peter's Ex?" I asked, making sure this wad the right Caroline. "Yeah, look- I get you may not know me but I work here! And uh- I saw you just got the job so maybe you can quickly help me in the safe room?" She asked sweetly and softly. oh, she works here? Well- I guess helping her a small but won't hurt, I could ask her to leave Peter alone, he does seem stressed with her around. I thought to myself as I nodded. She dragged me into this weird room and locked the door. There were no cameras, windows or other ways out in that room- oh no. "Listen, I don't like you making moves on MY hubby, and to makr sure you learn your lesson. You won't be seeing him. Ever. Again." Caroline said as I felt a sharp pain in my back multiple times, I fell to the ground as I felt a warm liquid leak out of my back. "Good night, forever." She said before leaving the room. My vision started to fade as I heard the worried voice of Peter as he entered the safe room and picked me up, he dialed 911 but- it was too late.
