Kana happily humming as she smothers the span soak by soap over the dirty dishes.

Sister Lily has gone over the town buying some groceries for the special dinner which on occasion for the oldest trio farewell gift.

Her train of thought was interrupted by a short brown hair calling over her.

"Ano, Kana-nee." Nash nervously call her.

The red hair girl glances over the kitchen entrance and saw the boy scratching the back of his head nervously. "Is there something wrong, Nash?"

The asked boy raises his eyes and sigh. "You will be taking the Magic Knight Entrance Exam right?"

Kana wipe her wet hands over the apron, sighing as she turns her body so that she fully facing him. "So you weren't sleeping after all."

A frown develops on the young boy's face. "Why? You hate them, didn't you? So why do you suddenly want to join them?"

Her expression remains unreadable as she just silently watching him which didn't help the boy who grows nervous for every second.

The older girl has been taking care of them even him ever since he could remember, she has loved, bathed, clothed, even fed them but they also learn that her temper wasn't one to be played with. Poor Asta has always been the victim of her temper but they couldn't blame her, he does know when to push someone's limits of patients.

Kana sigh which made Nash jump a little. "To be honest, Nash." She starts as she took off the apron and hangs it over the wall. "I don't even know why I want too."

"Eh? But you-"

"Yes, I did say that I want to take the exam but I don't know if I even want to be one of them."

"I don't get it," Nash mutters in confusion.

The red hair girl's eyes soften. She softly pats his head. "You may not understand this but there something I need to know, a question that I have been asking for so long and I can only find the answer by going there."

Nash looks up to her. "But- What about Yuno-nii and Asta dream?!"

"What about them?"

"Can-can they even are Magic Knight? Will, they took in poor orphans like us?! Will they- no-" He shook his head. "Will Asta-"

Kana flick his forehead cutting the boy off.

"That's hurt, Kana-nee!" He winces holding his forehead with a red mark on it.

"Asta can do it, I believe he will."

Nash frowns deeper in anger. "He didn't have magic!"

"Don't be silly, of course, he has magic. His magic is never giving up." Kana smile fondly.

"That's just stupid! That was-"

"Nash." Kana cut his rant.

The called boy was in awe as he watches a smile didn't falter from her face.

"Why don't you go and talk to Asta about it, he still in the forest training."

"But-but people like us aren't allowed to dreams like that." Nash mutter sadly.

Kana chuckle. "Says who? We own our fate, we decided what we want and how we do it. And more importantly, we allow dreaming because we can make it happen." She simply states as she walks past the dumbfound boy.

The frown on his face didn't disappear and he took off to search for the older boy with no magic traits.

The red hair girl watches his silhouette disappear and sigh. "Like I have a place to say it."

~Time skip~

"Uwa!"

"Nahahahaha! Tomorrow's the day Asta, Yuno and Kana-chan set out for the royal capital." Father happily declares. "We have to send them off with a bang!"

"Father went to all the surrounding villages asking for tatoes. Thus being said," She looks over the younger red hair girl. "And Kana-chan have been working hard to cook these delicious foods."

Kana bashfully sweat. "Sister Lily also help me out."

"Father! Kana-chan!" Asta's eyes sparkle in happiness.

"What's that look for? This isn't just for you!" Father sweatdrop. "Actually, it's mostly for Yuno and Kana-chan."

Nash nods in agreement while Recca just smiles over their antiques.

"Father!" Asta exclaim at his statements.

"Well, you know.. Yuno and even Kana-chan might make it into the Magic Knights, but you're.."

"Father!"

The priest reassuringly pats the ash-blond hair boy. "Asta, there's no need to be embarrassed, even if you fail the exam."

"Huh?"

"No one believes you're going to pass, anyway." The older man grin.

"Are you trying to encourage me or make fun of me?!" Asta exclaim in disbelief.

"You can come back at any time. Your home is this church. No matter how crappy or poor it may be, it's your home."

"That's right, Asta." Rekka agrees.

"I'll be lonely without Asta here." Aruru sadly says as she then glances over the other two. "Yuno and Kana-nee, too."

"We're all family!" Hollo cheer.

Kana glance over the youngest girl. "I will miss you guys too." She smothers their hair. She watches as the sadness on the young girl's face didn't flatter and let out a small breath. "I promise that I will write to you, all of you as much as I can."

Aruru perks up a little. "Promise?"

"Promise." She nod.

"For Hollo too?" The young blond hair boy grabs her shirt, pointing at himself.

"Of course!" She smiles widely as she goes and hugs both youngest making them giggles.

"And then... I'm gonna come back for Sister!" Their attention brought back by Asta's loud declaration.

"Eh?" Sister sweatdrop.

"So when that happens, marry m-"

The boy, however, was cut off by Sister's Holy Fist of Love, making him stuck flat over the wall.

"All right, let's eat." Sister Lily smile as she motions over the foods. "We have stewed tatoes, tato tempura, grilled tatoes, fried tatoes, stir-friend tatoes, steamed tatoes, Hage-style boiled tatoes, tato juice, and even special tato pudding!"

"Yay! Let's eat!" Hollo and Aruru exclaim in delight and took a bite of fried tatoes.

"So flaky and delicious!" The youngest girl state as she took another bite of it.

"Yummy!" The young boy happily agreeing.

"Hey, that's mine!" Asta who finally regains himself took the plate of fried tatoes and gobble them by himself.

"Don't eat it all yourself, you idiot!" Kana was spewing with irks, mark scold.

"So good!"

"Asta!"

THUD!

"Itai!!! Kana-chan so cruel!"

"Then stop being stupid!"

"I don't think he has control over it." The messy black hair boy state as he took a bite of the tato tempura.

"Yuno too!"

"Stop being loud already!"

THUD!

"ITAI!!!!"
