Biting onto the candy apple, Kana glances over the commotion and sees the captain of Blue Rose, Charlotte. Just as she was about to approach the woman, a large bulky man blocked her view and she instantly knew who it was from the mana around him.

"Bull-headed ugly gorilla." She mutters, irked at the sight of him.

"Huh?!" Yami who seemed to be able to hear her spun but failed to catch her as the girl already walked away. "Tch! I swear I heard that annoying brat."

Looking up at the dark sky, fireworks start to flare meaning the ceremony is about to start. "We better get going," Yuno states when Kana arrives back at him.

"Yeah, I hate to hear that granny's nagging the living hell out of me." Kana shudders at the thought of the fierce lioness.

"Granny?" Yuno tilts his head and then remembers the word being mentioned a lot in her letters. "The one who trained you right?"

She nods tossing away the stick directly into the bin.

"How was the training?"

"Hmm~" Kana pouts Yuno couldn't help but look away, flushing at the thought of them. "I hate to admit but she's a great teacher despite her brute style. It has been very helpful. I can feel myself getting stronger." She clenches her hand feeling the strong flows of mana within her body.

"Me too."

"Hm?" Kana looks up, at his words only to see Yuno smiling proudly.

"I can feel that you have been getting stronger, Kana-chan."

Kana bumped her shoulder gently at him, feeling in awe and warm but those words. "You also seem stronger than before, you, tall freak."

Arriving inside the tower, they were greeted by Mimosa and Claude as they had been waiting for Yuno.

"Kana!" Mimosa throws herself onto the said girl who easily catches her.

"Mimosa, it's been a while." Kana happily greets her and then glances over the four eyes. "Clues isn't it?"

"It's Klaus!" The four eyes irritatedly state, pushing up his glasses.

"I heard from Yuno that you have gone to train with Mereleona-san, is it true?!" Mimosa wraps her hands around the redhead's arm, they walk closely.

"Hm? Do you know her?"

"Did you forget?" The royal magic knight tilts, beaming. "I'm a Vermillion, so that's means that Leo my cousin, therefore same goes for Mereleona-san and Fuegoleon-san."

"Heh?" Kana froze, staring at the girl. Then an image of the trio siblings came up into her mind then by their side stood Mimosa—

"Then on my mother's side, I'm related to Noelle."

Adding the silver head girl into the line, Kana frowns in deep thought then she pats the girl's head. "It must have been so hard."

"Hm?" Blinks Mimosa at her actions.

"What takes you so long?!"

Kana was irked at the loudness of the all-too-familiar voice. "The ceremony isn't starting yet! Or maybe some of us just want to live up their young age, gran—"

A flaming paw appeared taking hold of Kana's head making the trio Golden Dawn widen at the sight and just as Yuno was about to prepare and attack.

"Try finishing your word, shrimpy—" Mereleona grits her teeth, annoyed.

Kana mirrored her teacher's expression. "Grannnyyyy~" Then a flaming paw appeared from her but unlike the older lioness, hers burst into darker shades as they both started fighting for dominance, then later added another set of paws.

"You little—" Mereleona readying her fist making the girl flip open her grimoire.

"Come on—"

"That's enough."

Both lionesses found themselves captured inside a sphere that had a ring around its orbit with Roman numerals on it.

Julius appeared with Marx followed behind Wizard King. "Glad to see that both of you have grown very close together."

"Like hell we did"

"Yeah right."

The sphere disappears instantly as Julius snaps and greets them with a smile. "You have grown so much since we last met." He pats Kana's head.

"And you're still a weird old man—"

"What a rude thing you are." Alecdora emerges with a few more Golden Dawn members behind him. "I see that a low— you haven't changed at all. Even after all those time in imprisonment."

The air inside the tower strained as a few of the Golden Dawn's members started sniggering and grinning as they all muttered under their breaths.

Mimosa and Claude step up as they are about to side with the redhead but a look from Alecdora makes them recoil back but Yuno steps up daringly as he stands in front of the girl while glaring at his senior members.

"Apologize."

"Huh? This brat—"

"He~" A group of footsteps walking towards them catches their attention as the familiar crimson cloak starts to walk into the light. "What's this? Don't tell me you have been bullying our cute little junior, Alecdora. Don't you think that was a bit low for someone like you too?"

Mereleona scoffed, smirking as she stood beside Julius. 'One would think she's a Vermillion with the way she has been around us.' She thought glancing over at the redhead. 'That doesn't sound so bad.'

"Leopold—" Alecdora looked over the youngest Vermillion whose arms folded on his chest, daring for him to challenge the members of Crimson Lion who all seemed ready to fight for the girl's side.

"You—" Kana starts, gaining everyone's attention. She points at Alecdora while looking at Yuno. "Who the hell is that?"

"Eh?!!"

Yuno didn't seem as bothered as the other, "He's the sand guy from the Star Award."

Kana frowns, deep in thought before hitting her palm. "I remember him! Vulgar peasant, lowborn scum, filthy rat. That's what you called us before right?" Her expression darkens sending chills all over him. "I remember— you."

Once again, the room becomes tense, but this time it becomes more serious as Kana starts flipping open her grimoire instantly making Alecdora open his and some of the members follow as they can sense the upcoming danger.

"Flame Magic: In—"

"So, this is where everyone has gone too—"

"C-captain!"

"Captain William!"

'Another interesting figure appears.' Mereleona smirks.

"Captain—" Alecdora who smiles at the sight of William, steps forward to greet him but catches the side glare flashes over him making him freeze.

William disregards his members off and approaches Kana who closes her grimoire upon seeing him. "It's been so long hasn't it?" Just like Yuno and Zora, he also notices the radiance she emitted has been brighter than before. "I apologize for the behaviour of my squad," He bows, apologetically. "It was my fault and I must have not to discipline them enough to act in such ways."

"But Capt—"

"Enough." William glances back at the Golden Dawn members who instantly cowers. "Do none of you have any shame for what you have done? As a magic knight— does the status of your family truly matter? As magic knights, saving the lives of the civilians and protecting them came first and when that happens do you still choose who you wish to protect and disregard the one you deem unworthy of your protection?"

The silence was deafening making even the other squads who also gathered around their captains who arrived later, lower their heads, afraid of being told off.

"What a shameful behaviour." William ends.

Kana peeks over the fuming captain. "You—"

"Hm?" William looks at the redhead, observing as she stares at him with curious eyes.

"Are kind of cool."

Let's just say, that Yuno wasn't having it with the way his captain and Kana interacting. Poor Mimosa and Claude have to keep that boy from attacking their captain who has flowers floating on his head.

"To be so young~" Julius sang while Marx sighed at the chaos.

"This is getting better and better." Mereleona cackles.
