Gathered around the village's entrance, all the villagers have decided to come out of their house after being informed that their farm's mysterious attacker has been discovered and will no longer be a threat to them.

To show their gratitude, they all gathered to bid their farewell to their saviors, and some even brought gifts for both young magic knights.

Kana feel relieved that the older boy has brought a magic item that helps carrying those loaded gifts, or their journey will be much harder will all the stuff.

She still didn't fully recover with bandages still covered around her body, but they need to get back to base and report back to the captain of their mission.

Ōura even advises the girl that she still needs to rest, but the red-haired was quite stubborn, which actually because she feels guilty for spending too much time sleeping, and the missing piece of the battle bothered her. She needs to talk with the Magic King himself over it.

"Do you have to return already?" Main sniff giving her best puppy eyes at the crimson-haired boy, which always wins her many gifts from her grandfather.

Leopold dramatically looks away, chanting 'Must resist! Must resist!' Both of them actually have bonded quite well during Kana's coma state.

It's quite apparent to the others that the young girl was starting to have a crush on the young noble who was oblivious by all the signals she showed toward him. Even the newly awaken girl notice Main's attempt to earning Leopold's attention, which she finds quite adorable.

She watches him give her a look saying he needs her help. Sighing with a smile of amusing. Kana lower herself so that she will be on the same height as Main. "Main." She calls, earning the girl's attention. "We are sorry, but we truly need to leave. There still matters that we need to attend." She softly pats the pouting girl's head.

"But--"

"Main." Ōura firmly warns her daughter, who pouts even further, but later a look of realization took over her, and she looks over her beasty friend.

"Muku." She starts, worriedly. "What will happen to Muku?"

A look of concern flash on Leopold's face knowing that it will be hard for him to promise anything good would happen to the young dragon, but the red-haired girl didn't give a single damn about it.

"I will look over Muku." She determinedly states. "I promise you."

"O-oi." Leopold sweat knowing that it won't be up to either of them to decide but sigh needlessly. "Nii-san gives me strength." He begs and continues. "And for whoever will face this stubborn peasant."

"Really?!" Main's expression brightens. "Will you guys come to visit too?" Her eyes twinkle as she glances back and forth between Kana and Leopold, giving the older girl a signal that she wants him to visit too.

Kana chuckle, nodding. "We will."

"Yay!" She jumps in happiness, which grabs Muku's interest and starts bobbing along with her. Both of them start having their own happy dance even when the scaled beast doesn't know what to dance for.

Spetto steps forward, smiling at the youngster. "I, as the representative of all the villagers, would like to say we are so grateful for your help. You didn't just help to find the culprit that destroyed our farm, but also saving my granddaughter's life."

Kana shook her head. "There something else you need to know. Actually, Muku wasn't destroying the farm."

"Eh?" Chorus all the villagers, tilting their heads in confusion.

"This little buddy here—" She pats the young beast who has stop dance with Main. "just trying to help."

"I don't get it." One of the villagers among the crowd state, shaking his head.

Main clench her dress and spoke up. "Actually, Muku was trying to help me." She glances at Muku with a smile. "I always said that I would come to play when I finish helping at the farm. So Muku decided to help out, but he never meant any harm. He just wants me to play with him!" She adds quickly.

The villagers look around each other, muttering something before glancing back at the young girl.

One of a young boy with dark ash-hair folds his hands behind his back, sighing. "You could have said so. You crybaby."

"We will gladly help you out, you 'know?" A ponytail marron-haired girl adds.

The other villagers nod in agreement and even add some words of encouragement.

Main's eyes are getting teary hearing their words. "I'm sorry~~" She starts wailing. "I'm truly sorry!"

Leopold and Kana glance at each other, grinning as the villagers trying to calm the girl who wails even louder.

"Muku-" Main sniffs lowering herself and hug the young beast. "Be good to Kana-nee, got it? And don't trouble her too much." She pulls away and looks directly at his bright blue eyes. "I will miss you so much."

Muku tilts his head, and eyes flash in sadness as if understanding the situation. "Ku~"

He bumps his head with her and closes his eyes.

"We will meet again—Muku—grow up and become a big and strong dragon, got it?"

"Ku~~"

"Bye! Bye!"

Still looking back at the village, both wave back at the villagers as they bid their farewell.

"Take care of Muku!" Major shout, hands-on the air is waving at them.

"I will!" Kana shout back.

Muku clung around her with his head on her shoulder, let out a screech and move his tail as he waves at his human buddy.

"How do you feel about your first mission?" Leopold asks after a while of walking away from the village.

Kana look at him from petting the dragon leaning against her shoulder. "Not bad, I think." She shrug. "I do get my first battle scar." Muku nuzzles over her cheek, making her chuckle and scratch his chin. "And also get a partner."

"Being a Magic Knight wasn't so bad, wasn't it?!" Leopold almost shouts, hoping that the girl will change her mind about the Magic Knights.

"Oh, that." She stated in a flat tone. "I have given some thought of it."

"And?" His eyes shone hopefully.

"Guess people do need Magic Knights. Maybe the system is needed to help the people."

"See! I-"

"I was thinking of being the Magic Queen."

"Eh?" The older boy blinks a few times. "Wh-"

"Instead of getting rid of the Magic Knights, I just need to wipe out those insolent and toxics members and then recreate it. Then there's no more priority for anyone, including the nobles or the royal families. Sound fairs, right?"

Kana didn't wait for his answer and just kept walking, leaving Leopold paled as he has stopped walking and froze in place.

"Onii-san—" He complexion getting paler every second. "You supposed to recruit a lion or lioness. Why did you bring in a devil?!"

A/N: Here another update. And here as you guys wished! Muku will be joining as Kana's companion.

My first idea would be that Muku will be free and let him(yes, I decided to reveal Muku's gender. He's a male) stay at the village, but I also think about the danger if he does...
