Chapter Nineteen
"(Y/n). Up. Now!"
I jolted upwards.
"Y-yes?" I nervously called to Ciel. I turn my head to see Ciel being dressed by Sebastion. His hair a big mess and shirt already half way off. Smiling a little at how cute he looked, I quickly remind myself to stay focused.
"Hurry and dress yourself, we are having unexpected visitors."
Letting put a sigh of relief my eyes scanned across the room finding a dark blue dress laid out.
"I-in this?" I asked hesitantly.
"Yes now please hurry, clean yourself up and Mei-rin should be here to help you dress"
Ciel now stood infront of you a guilty look on hid face and you sat up on the bed. Sebation exited the room leaving two cups of tea on the bedside cabinet.
"I know what I said, Im sorry love, I didn't know anyone would be coming today, I promise I'll make it up to you"
"It's okay love, I don't mind, like I said before, I know your work is important." I lightly smiled at him.
He shook his head a bit before reaching over to his cup of tea.
"I'll see you at breakfast, our guest will be there as well so please hurry."

"Thank you Mei-rin, I own you" I smiled at mei before giving her a hug.
"Aw, no need to thank me, I'm just glad to see I didn't make any mistakes"
It seemed as though she wanted to add something else at the end of he sentence but you simply dismissed it for one of her adorable stutters.
As you walked into the dinning room you could already sense Ciel's annoyance towards his guess.
Glancing over to Ciel's guest I was shocked seeing a young man smirking at me.
I had grown accustomed to seeing the faces of much older men attempting to cheat Ciel out of money. But this man was different.
He was taller than Ciel, and had bright green eyes, his brown hair was tied into a short choppy ponytail.
"Ah~! And how might this lovely lady be?" He immediately stood up amd made his way to me.
His hand reached to mine, planting a small kiss onto my right hand. I flinched but nothing to much seeing as how he didn't notice.
"Now what might your name be love?"
My eyes almost automaticallymade their way to Ciel. He was mad but, I didn't seem like he was mad at me for once. Maybe this was a break through, he didn't seem to direct his anger towards me for once.
"(Y/n) (L/n)" I smiled doing a small bow.
"Come, come, join us I was in need of a pretty view to distract me from this boring conversation." He held my hand and directed me to sit next to him.
"Ciel-! Why didn't you tell me you had such a lovely lady here! I would've came more prepared!" He turned his attention from Ciel and back to me giving me a wink and then turning back.
Only now did I realize I still don't know this mans name and he is already flirting away.
"Yes, I must have forgotten seeing as we where just discussing the financial costs of-" Ciel dropped his sentence pouting seeing that yet again the brunette male's attenton was back on me.
"I so dearly sorry, have I forgetten to introduce myself? I must have gotten didtracted by your beauty. I am Philip Morrison, I run a very successful cocolate company, which not to brag but is growing quickly here in England." Philip flashed a cheeky grin towards me before standing up.
Though my attention stayed on Ciel who's face was growing read with anger. Wheather it was the way Philip continually ignored him or the way that Philip non stop flirted with me, it was obvious Ciel didn't like him.
"Ah~! Ciel I've got the most splendid idea! We should have a ball!- eh, to promote our business of course."
"Im sorry Philip, I don't think a ball is in order. We haven't prepared for anything of that sorts and-" yet again Ciel was cut off by Philip.
"Oh, well isn't that just a shame, you see, I've already invited some of the most important nobles and most popular entertainers for a ball. At your manor....at 5" Philip smiled innocently.
I nervously played with my fingers expecting Ciel to snap under the pressure of his guest.
But instead he sighed, "Then I guess we will have to begin preparations."
Surprised at his words I look up. He seem annoyed as expected but not at the edge of his temper. It confused me but I decided to keep my mouth shut for the remaining conversation between the two.
"Well, I'll see you at 5. Mr.Phantomhive."
"And I will most definitely be seeing you tonight." He turned towards me with the most flirtatious smile imaginable, grabing my hand he landed a small kiss on the top of my hand.
Waving his hand he motioned a good bye while exiting the manor.
I turned to Ciel who's fist where tightly clenched, glaring deeply at the man.
He softened his tensed look as soon as he noticed my worried expression.
Walking towards me he pulled out the chair Philip had previously sat in. Now sitting in besides me he held my hands.
"(Y/n), I don't want you to be in contact with that man. I get a bad feeling when he is around you... promise me tonight you'll stay away from him." The tone of Ciel's voice was soft but the way he looked into eye's made his instructions clearer.
"I promise." I smilied up at Ciel but the silence after was killing you. "..Now don't you have a ball to prepare?" I joked laughing a bit in an attempt to lighten the mood
"Oh, of course. That stupid fool scheduled a ball at my manor. Honestly, a common peasant has better manners than him." Ciel joked although you could sense the stress behind it.
"(Y/n) I hope you know Im sincerely sorry I couldn't spend the day with you as I promised." Ciel looked away from my eyes for a moment, I knew how guilty he felt.
With out thinking I cupped his cheeks and leaned forwards.
"Ciel, this is important to you. If this will benefit you, then I don't mind. Just promise to take care of yourself"
"I will..", the already small distance between seemed to shrink until our lips were centimeter away.
"Now, sorry to interrupt but I believe there is ball to prepare for?" The familiar voice caught your attention sending chills down your spine.
Ciel pulled away and and glared at Sebastian.
"Time to start preparations.." Ciel's words where faint as he ran a hand through his hair. His eye gazing nack towards you a small smile on his lips.
"(Y/n) feel free to take the day off. You won't be attending this ball as a Phantomhive servant"
With that he and Sebastion set off, probably to plan out or begin decorating.
Still, the idea of attending as a guest rather than a servant placed me under some unusual pressure. Would this be harder or easier? On the outside it seems like it'd be a more carefree postion but it still made me feel uneasy knowing you wouldn't be helping around.
"I guess I'll have to wait and see." I mumbled to myself.
