Jack POV

I was in my room waking up only to find out my team was gone. I looked at the time and it was around the time when students were supposed to go to the auditorium and hear Oz on a speech before going to a mission. I decided to get ready and walk there. I guess is time dear old Jack got back.

I started walking and making my way there until I saw them in a distance. I got a wicked smile and teleported to one of the end corners. I waited until I had the perfect opportunity and then strike.

Time skip Oz speech
Ruby POV

We were excited for today. We were about to get our first mission!!! I couldn't contain my excitement. But then I felt Zwei shaking in my bag.

Ruby: * whispering * zwei don't move!!!

Then out of nowhere fog started to appear. Everyone started to ask questions.

Yang: what do you think is going on?
Weiss: I have no idea

Then out of nowhere we started hearing a distorted laugh. The fog then started to turn black.

???: you will be mine

The voice sounded like a female. And then out of nowhere a black shape started forming. A women came out of it. She was pale, black veins and Red Eyes. She started screaming in a Really horrifying screech.

I was shaking in extreme fear. I quickly ran into my sisters arms. Yang looked worried but she didn't want to show how she was really feeling. Blake was in shock as if her animal instincts were screaming at her to run. Weiss looked paralyzed. But Ozpin looked even worst. He looked as if he seen the worst thing in his life. The figure lingered in place. Staring at us. Then it's started laughing once more. The creature started to disintegrating into nothing.

Ruby: W-what's g-goin on?
Blake: I-I don't know

Then a second laugh came. This one was more masculine.

Weiss: oh no
Blake: what's going on?

???: HELLO BEACON!!!

RWBY: What?!

When the figure was finally visible we saw Jack emerging from it.

Yang: YOU IDIOT YOU ALMOST GAVE MY SISTER A HEART ATTACK!!!

Weiss POV

You gotta be kidding me. Did he really just did that?

Weiss: YOU DUNCE!!! You almost gave me a heart attack!!!
Jack: I'm sorry Weiss...

I looked at every direction and I could see eyes on us.

Weiss: what?
Blake: I don't know

Ozpin: Mr Cipher was only playing a prank using his powers
Goodwitch: that's right, please choose your mission and prepare for it

We then followed his instructions.

Jack POV

Oz: where do you know that woman from?
Jack: I have my secrets Oz

I then walk away and look for my team. I manage to find them and walk towards them. But I felt a hand dragged me away and I looked at it and I saw her.

Weiss: what was that?
Jack: what do you mean?
Weiss: the "Prank"
Jack: I was been me 
Weiss: sure you were

She then looked down and started laughing.

Weiss: your always you
Jack: the one and only

I then went to my team to see what they wanted to do. I look at their opinions and they looked as they want to shadow a sheriff.

Jack: why?
Ren: Nora told me
Jack: ok?
Pyrrha: you coming?
Jack: can't, promise Oz I would stay in stand by
Pyrrha: I see...hope everything goes well
Jack: thank you
Pyrrha: no problem
Nora: and don't worry...we'll make sure to bring you a souvenir
Jack: that would be nice

They then came at me and hugged me. I did the same but a little different. I just did a pat on the back and walked off. I'm stuck here until I can prove to Oz who will be the people to strike down his kingdom so I guess I'll have fun.

I wonder....is Junior available? I should call him. I'm pretty sure he misses me.

Junior: Hello?
Jack: Jr
Jr: don't call me that
Jack: too late
Jr: damn you
Jack: spreed the word....Samael is back

Time skip apartment

I was sitting in my desk in a room full of Armed guards with a line of people coming at me.

Jack: I heard you want a favor?
???: please! I need help
Jack: sure, now tell me, what's bothering you?
???: this guy...he goes by the name Adam Taurus
Jack: oh boy
???: he killed my brother in cold blood

I got off my desk and stand up.

Jack: how many of you are here cause of something related to the white fang?

Then around 90% percent of them raised their hand. I was deeply disappointed.

Jack: go...I'll take care of them...I'll make sure they suffer

Then they all left and I was left with around 20 people.

Jack: next

???: hello
Jack: what do you desire?
???: freedom

I was intrigued by this one.

Jack: please do tell...what do you want freedom from?

Ruby POV

It was getting late and I was walking with Doctor Oobleck and he decided to ask me a very peculiar question.

Oobleck: why do you want to be a huntress ?

I tried coming with an answer but I couldn't. I didn't knew what to answer.

Oobleck: you don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable
Ruby: no...it's ok...I guess, it's to fix
Oobleck: Fix what? Ms Rose
Ruby: fix everything...wrong I guess
Oobleck: are you perhaps...looking for redemption?
Ruby: I don't know Professor
Oobleck: I see...I think it's time for us to go back, let's go

He then ran at fast speed back to camp. I was left thinking on that question. I know the wrong we made...the wrong I made. I don't think I can redeem myself from that. Not after what we did to him. He had every right to do what he didnwhen he escaped. My only question is, where is Jack at? He wasn't a Snow...he was a Rose.

Aria POV

Oz: so, how's the progress going?
Aria: he's not happy...last time I checked he's unhappy...been playing on a toy lately
Oz: and why is that?
Aria: so when he's done here he can have something to kill time with
Oz: let me remind you we had a contract, and your both to work with me until she's gone

I took my knife out and pointed it towards him. I ran in a blink of an eye at him and pressed my blade against him.

Aria: we are not toys for you to mess around with
Oz: you think I care for a Demon ?
Aria: you should

I then started walking towards the elevator but it didn't want to go up. I then looked behind me and Oz was standing up.

Oz: I'm afraid ms HarLock that we can't let you leave this room
Aria: Really? You know I can kill you right?
Oz: But not him

Then out of nowhere a crow landed in his arm. Then it flew towards me. I took my sword out and I managed to block it. It turned into a man and he was wielding a big ass sword.

Oz: this, Aria is Qrow
Qrow: hello sweetheart

I took my gun out and sprayed a lot of bullets but they either fail or he dodged them. I was about to recharge it but then the gun got stock. He ran at me and we started sword swinging at each other.

Having no other choice I took the best way out. I ran and jumped towards the window. I started free falling but then I heard a gun shot followed by a massive pain in my abdomen. I then hit the ground.

Ozpin POV

Oz: you think that was enough?
Qrow: even if she managed to survive, she would die soon or later
Oz: good...I'm not loosing this war

Jack POV

I'm sitting currently in a chair, looking towards the sky...thinking...and analyzing of my new choices. And what I did today.

I just finished doing a deal with a nice lady. I decided to make her my last client today. Funny story. She wanted a cursed removed but I didn't remove it. Not yet, I did free her from the people after her but not her curse.

I loved how the night cold breeze flew through my face. But then I heard my elevator go off. With out turning around I said;

No more favors for today!

???: help...please

I then turned around to see Aria all messed up. She's
barely limping with one noticeable broken leg. Heavily bleeding and a huge gash on her head. I was surprised. But then I was full of hatred seeing her like this.

I quickly ran at her, she tried standing up but she collapse, but I managed to catch her. I quickly took my phone and gave a call to a phone number labeled Doctor ER. The phone rang for 10 seconds. He then picked it up and said;

5 minutes

It then hanged up and I looked at her.

Jack: what happened?!!!
Aria: you're in Danger...Jack

Please....don't die, not you.
