Damn it. Everyone is staring at me. I go over to the sub, and tell him I'm going to the nurse. He nods, and tells the game to continue. I rush towards my locker, getting my spare bandages from my backpack, then rush towards the bathroom and into a stall. I pull my sleeve up, and it's pretty bad. Well I've learned something new today, never get in the way of Annie's and Mikasa's fighting.

I quickly replace my bandages, and thankfully it's the end of the day, so I can go home.

I open my backpack, and try to start my homework, since my arm hurts like hell. Eventually, I get through it and decide to go out for a bit. It's about 7 pm, and dad's not home yet, so I just should be back before he gets home.

I walk into downtown with my usual brown sweatshirt, my hands in my pocket, hood on, looking down avoiding eye contact with any drunk strangers since at this time the street is crawling with them.

I'm not looking where I'm going, and I bump into someone.

"Oi, watch where you're heading."

I look down, and it's some shorty, but I just mumble a, "sorry", and keep walking.

Not even five minutes later, I bump into someone else. I look up at the guy, and it's some drunk guy. I try to turn around and head back, but the guy grabs my arm, the bad one, and he turns me around and says, "You're Jeager's son, aren't you?" I nervously nod my head yes, and he continues, "That guy still owes me, maybe if I beat his son up, it'll get him to pay me back..." I start shaking a bit, what is he going to do to me?

He's about to punch me, and I cover my face with my arm, ready for him, but before he can, someone stops him.

I look down, and it's the shorty I bumped into, he looks at my confused look, and he says,

"I was curious, so I followed you, you should be glad I did, brat" and the guy who was about to hit me, he just growls and heads away, his instincts probably telling him not to deal with this guy.

"U-um... t-thank you.." I don't really know what to say, so I kinda just awkwardly stand there.

He just looks at me, with his eyes narrowed, which looks to be as his normal look.

"By the way, I'm Eren Jeager" I say as I bow to thank him.

"Levi Ackerman."
