i was woken up by RoRo's licking. i moan in pain. "RoRo, please stop," i say. he whines and puts his face up to mine. i kiss his forehead. i try to get up but i felt a great amount of pain in my wrist. i move it slightly and groan. i think i broke my wrist. "RoRo, can you go get jess please?" i tell him. he runs out of the room. a couple seconds later, jess and RoRo come in. "y/n? you needed me?" he looks down at me and crosses his arms. " i think you broke my wrist. i can't move it at all." his eyebrows raise. "i'll go get a first aid kit then," jess walks out and comes back it the first aid. 

he helps me sit back up. he sits across from me and takes my wrist. i groan. "jess, that hurts." i whisper. "i know." he takes out a bandage. he takes my hand and starts wrapping the bandage around my wrist. i look down at our hands. 

but i look up at him. and i look up at his eyes. and...i feel something. warmth in my chest. it feels like my heart as stopped. i don't even know why. his eyes were gorgeous. he looks up at my eyes. then i feel a joint of electricity go from my chest to our hands. i jump. "are you okay? did i hurt you?" i shake my head. "n-no. i'm good, thank you." he nods. 

he finishes my wrist and and ties it. "is it too tight?" i shake my head again. i lightly smile at him. "it's fine now thank you jess." he smiles back at me. "jess, i'm sorry for opening the door. i just got curious, didn't except for it to be your dog. i'll be a better girl next time." he still has the smile on his face. "good." he says simply. 

"i need my kiss goodnight, y/n. you know the rules." 

i lean into him and leave a gentle kiss on his cheek. i feel the warmth in my chest from earlier. i felt the electricity go to my lips again. i jump again. his eyes widen. maybe, he felt it too? 

"so goodnight jess." i get under the covers. "goodnight princess." 

"could you turn off the lights please?" he nods and turns them off before leaving with RoRo. 

i lie on my bed. why was my chest warm? and why did i feel electricity when i touch him. did he feel it? why is he being so nice to me all of a sudden? was it something i did? why does he look different to me? all nice and handsome? and not all mean and abusive? 

i turn to my side and close my eyes.

i open my eyes and lift myself up. i open my door and was greeted by RoRo. i bend down to pet him. "hello RoRo. follow me." i walk around and find, jess already sitting at the island table. he looks up from his phone and smiles brightly at me. "hi, y/n. how'd you sleep, princess?" 

"good, thank you." i smile at him. "what would you like for breakfast this morning?" i ask. "something simple like toast please. and don't forget my coffee." i nod and walk to the fridge. 

i take out the bread and put it in the toaster. i take out a mug and start one his coffee. 

"how's your wrist, princess?" jess questions. "much better. thank you for asking." i replied. "jess?" he looks up to me. 

i wanted to ask him about last night. did he feel anything? "i-"

the toast ringed and the toast spring up. i grab a plate and put the toast on the plate. i place it in front for him and the coffee as well. "what were you saying?" 

"nothing. it was stupid anyway,"
