You felt bitterness clawing at your heart from the happiness that radiated from the passersby that you managed to clearly view through the windows of the moving car you found yourself reluctantly hopping in as it travelled through the semi-crowded road. It's not that you wished for their joviality to depart from them, but it's actually that you desire to acquire the positive emotion as well. The envy only seemed to grow more as your situation slowly dawned upon you, leaving you no choice upon the matter it seemed when in the end, your disagreement had been easily shrugged off by one of the most influential and charming people of your university.

You were unsure why he doted on you too much, only causing problems on your end. He had been undeniably a charming individual, showering you with gifts, providing warm reassurances whenever you are in doubt, and even always prepared to give you support when he deemed you rightfully needed it so. Despite this, you were clearly aware with the darker tendencies hidden behind his mesmerizing actions that the public deemed to be charming. Even before you found proof of his unpleasant behaviors, something deep inside you always gives a warning for you to never interact with him. Despite your efforts of doing so, you are in a lower pedestal than him.

Fully knowing the influence and power he holds, he decided to publicly ask you out on a date that had been the final wave of your alarm. He was already left frustrated with your rejections through his careful approach that he had enough and decided to go to such means despite knowing that you know his motive. You unwillingly agreed to go on a date with him, wanting to satisfy his perseverance and to be left alone from the peer pressure he had staged when he had invited you. It undeniably astonished you, but you are left irritated with him not easily understanding your disinterest with his supposed lucky affection in the view of the others. 

Reaching the fine establishment, your thoughts about how you reached your unfortunate situation comes to a halt simultaneously along with the vehicle's own stop. You continue to hold your gaze outside through the window on your right, noticing that a few patrons are already inside the restaurant with other passersby walking past it in awe. Gakushu unlocks his car door with your own remaining to be locked where it can only be opened from the outside to ensure that you cannot escape or try anything during the ride. Ensuring that it has been locked, he proceeds to approach your side from the outside before opening your car door for you.

"Shall we, my love?" He requested while presenting a palm for you to take and hopefully let him hold your hand for the entirety until the two of you would reach your table as you sighed before reluctantly placing your hand on top of his awaiting one after knowing that the two of you already acquired quite the attention from others.

Some of them gazed at the two of you as you heard that they found you two adorable and perfect for each other as you present a faux smile. Disliking the idea of being affected if you misbehave, you've decided to let him have his fun while cursing him in your mind for clearly planning all of this scheme just to make sure that you'll cooperate. Your assumption had been proven correct when Gakushu smirked before it was instantly replaced by a smile as he closes the car door after carefully guiding you to stand beside him. You accidentally intertwined your fingers along with his after he affectionately kisses your forehead before leading you inside.

He let you get inside first after the glass door of the restaurant had been opened by him, leading you once more to a table that had been already prepared quite romantically and extravagantly so. The meals had been your favorites as you noticed that it might be just the right temperature to be eaten and with just the right drinks to enjoy along with it. Stopping at the other end of the table, Gakushu places a hold on the seat before glancing at you with a smile that made you internally sweat drop. Not only did he grab the attention of the other patrons through his looks and charming smile, but they seemed to be also affected with his gentleman like personality. 

"Everything is already prepared. All we need to do is enjoy our time together." He informed before carefully making a distance between the table and your seat for you to occupy it as he gestures for you to do so that once again caused you to feel the gazes of others to be focused on you two.

Deeming that you have no other choice, but to give in to his silent demand for the both of you to have a good time and to enjoy what he had prepared specially for you, you nodded before smiling in gratitude while you take a seat after he makes you comfortable for it. "Thank you, Gakushu. This is quite thoughtful of you..."

You forced yourself to properly enjoy the comfort of your seat, desiring for the stares to leave you as you gazed at Gakushu that is currently occupying his own seat. Once he deemed that you had settled enough, he initiates the start of the meal with a careful precision of consuming each part of it. It only caused the focus from others to be pinned on the both of you for a while longer, causing you to be subtly irked before proceeding to consume your own meal. Despite the pressure from the gazes, you remain to present grace as Gakushu starts a conversation when he deemed it convenient, trying his best to make you feel comfortable with him as you let him be.

Quite the opposite of what you expected, the date had gone well with you starting to enjoy his company, even more so from the meal and drinks that go with it. You have forgotten the attention from others, but not of your decision. Finishing the meal and wanting to conclude the date, you went straight to the point in informing him that you had a good time before rejecting his unsaid proposal to be your boyfriend. Wiping away any excess of food on the corners of your mouth, you sighed before gathering up the courage to turn down his incoming request as you solemnly smiled while offering him faux pity and dismay with how this date turned out. 

"Gakushu... Please understand that you are the man of everybody's dreams, but not mine... I appreciate everything you did, really. Your efforts, kindness, care, and maybe even your love, but I really don't see you that way. I only hope that you will find someone worthy of your love."

You carefully place the wine glass on the table with the fancy cloth that covered it minimizing the sound between the contact. It would seem that Gakushu had anticipated your rejection through the numerous times you did so in the past, but it may have been the last bit of his patience this time. Gakushu closes his eyes to rest and to clearly calm down, subtly sighing before he glances away. He takes a sip of his wine before copying your earlier actions, setting down his glass before he gazes at you once more. Because of his focused gaze, you couldn't help, but to be left mesmerized by the unique color of it that held quite the intensity just for you.

You snapped out of your daze once he speaks with solemnity that he hides through his small smirk as he places his cheek on his palm with his elbow placed on the table. "I did find someone. You. Why can't you just give me a chance? Haven't I done enough? And if you truly appreciate everything I did, then why reject me still?"

Seeing him in such position only heightened his cuteness and beauty, but you held back as you played the same game through intertwining your fingers before you with both elbows on the table before subtly leaning in to place your chin on top of it. "Because I know you. Behind your smiles, your gentleness, your charms, there's something dark hidden inside of you..."

You can already hear the murmurs, but you focused on him alone as he finally nods in agreement, offering you a strained smile after he subtly laughs in amusement and pride. "I see... You truly are observant. I will understand your rejection, then. Thank you for letting me court you. Shall we leave then? Do you mind me driving you home?"

Keeping it in as he still has quite an illegal plan b, he offers you a ride back home in which you aren't able to disagree with after receiving negative criticism from the onlookers. You gave your agreement before following after him, linking your arms with his when he gestured for you to do so and to satisfy the frustration from others with how the date between you two had resulted in. Leaving the restaurant relieved you more than you could imagine. It would seem that the two of you had lesser privacy than you had expected and your annoyance hindered you into carefully thinking as to why such crowd cared enough for the both of you, especially in your response.

Once within his car, he starts to drive away and rather than the conversations you had from the previous journey, he remains silent as you observed something unfamiliar with the path he had chosen to drive as you asked with a side glance at him. "Are you thinking about kidnapping me? If so, that would be disappointing since I've already predicted it."

Gakushu drops his act of being patient, showing his frustration as he frowns with his grip on the steering wheel getting tighter while he coldly answered. "I will. I don't care if you find it boring as well. I'll do it just to make sure that you'll have no one else but me. Even if I force you to only receive love, care, and affection from me, I will be patient."

The act that you performed throughout the duration of his courtship instantly crumbled as you felt very much appreciated and loved for the first time, smiling giddily that would even look insane if others would view it as you fondly gazed at him before stating. "You don't need to do such things. I was just testing you, Gakushu dearest."

Acting as if what you said was delivered in nonchalance and would not cause any accident on his part, you await his reaction. You remained comfortably and properly seated on the passenger seat despite the abrupt stop Gakushu made on a parking area of a convenience store, staring in front of him with widened eyes in both surprise and disbelief. When he decided to forget the moment that he had been waiting for, here you are suddenly accepting him out of nowhere. He desperately wanted to believe the possibility of you returning his love and affection by your statement, but after the rejections he experienced, he remains skeptical as he looks at you.

Gakushu narrows his gaze at you almost close to glaring, but his devotion held him back from getting angry at you as his loud exclamation of demands is only caused by his confusion and desperation. "D-Dearest?! And what do you mean by that? I am not a subject of your experimentation, Y/N!"

Ignoring his last statement that could also be applied to you in return, you gently smiled before carefully cupping his cheek with one hand to let him face you before you speak. "You're not the only one that is crazy in love, you know? I very much applaud your dedication, love. It makes me want you more. How lucky of me, right? To have you loving me so deeply. I'm happy to know that, really."

The acceptance that he desperately wanted to receive from you had been finally presented to him, but the remaining feeling of hurt and skepticism hindered him from fully trusting your words as he places a hand on your own before demanding as he couldn't help, but let a few stray tears to be released. "Don't play with me! Say it!"

Gently wiping his tears away with your thumb and placing your vacant hand on his other cheek, you lean in closer before placing your forehead against his own as you peacefully closed your eyes while genuinely revealing the truth to him. "I love you, Gakushu. I always had and will always do."

Gakushu unconsciously lowers his head, subtly shaking it in disbelief before requesting you this time that gets quieter as he continues to express his confusion. "Prove it! After all of your rejections, do you really think that I would believe you? Don't joke around, please. Just... be real with me..."

You thoroughly understand his doubt, also experienced being manipulated by him in the past, but you only see it as a part of his charm. Through all those times, you just wanted to make sure that he only has his devotion and love to you alone and that such intense feelings of his would never fade away. You gently wiped all of his remaining tears after he finally calmed down from his outburst, gently kissing his closed eyelids to relay your message that you are being true to him at the moment. Your sweet actions caused him to reveal his softened gaze, starting to slowly accept that you are indeed serious and genuine with your confession as he now feels elated.

Whispering your words of love and affection that left him softly blushing with how intimate you presented it even just through verbal means, you slowly leaned in while feeling relieved that he lets you do so. And to prove your love to him, you carefully place your lips upon his own, letting your tongue slip in when he gasped in surprise as he instantly responds through kissing you deeply in return while having his arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him. He mirrors your gesture earlier, placing a hand on your cheek as the both of you had your eyes closed to enjoy the moment. You gave a small nip to his bottom lip before finally releasing for air.

After recovering from being close to breathless from the passionate display of affection, Gakushu giddily grins with a happy glint in his gaze as his overall expression would bring others to discomfort and fear, but not you as you enjoyed the view quite well, even more so when he remarks. "Who would have thought that your mind works in such ways... It makes me love you more. I love you as well, Y/N darling."
