Kate is Kara's Mom. She has to send Kara to Texas to live with her ex-husband otherwise known as Kara's dad. Kara is really close to her mom.

Amy Ackers as Laura Vincent

Laura is Kara's stepmom. She likes Kara and cares for her.

Asher Monroe as Travis Blakely

Travis is the bad boy who Kara has a distant crush on. He's a gang leader and sells drugs. All Kara can see is his good looks until he does something terrible to her.
