CHAPTER TWO
THE MESSAGE
Asami is not entirely sure what she expected from her newfound family. Maybe she expected them to be shy around her for a while considering they have gone so many years without knowing each other. Maybe they would avoid her for a bit and watch her cautiously from the shadows. Maybe they would ask her maid and the house servants about her habits yet none of that has happened. Since the moment she has stepped back into their lives, Tamaki has been nonstop talking to her. He wanted to know every little thing about her like her favorite color (which is periwinkle), her favorite food (chirashi), her favorite dessert (red bean cake), her favorite show (Attack on Titan), her favorite movie (Spirited Away), and the most recent question was what her favorite subject in school is (which is biology). The one thing he has yet to ask her about is how her life was with Emica. She appreciates him not treading on that subject with her because she feels like she would offend him in some sort of way because despite everything, Emica still holds the mother position in her heart. It is hard to wrap her head around the fact that Emica is in fact her kidnapper. She desperately wants to know why Emica did it. There has to be a reason for her actions, right? Maybe then Asami could better understand why Emica did it. Yuzuru, her father — that is so weird to say — has been more of what she expected. He hovers around her whenever she is walking around the mansion, makes sure they eat every meal together in the large dining room, and asks questions about her future goals. This is how her newfound family discovered that Asami wishes to create a business that makes and sells vital medicine to help people. When she said this, she saw how quiet both of the men got. Tamaki even had slight tears in his eyes as he told her how admirable her goal is and Yuzuru offered her his help. It has been a little over two weeks now and Asami has not stepped foot outside the mansion. Yuzuru says it is for the better because the paparazzi and news all found out about her story and have been surrounding the mansion to get photos of her or try to interview her. She wishes that people could butt out of her life. Why is it any of their business that she got kidnapped and found? That is her story to tell, not theirs. It is sickening just how far paparazzi and journalists will go to get a story.
Asami sighs as she finishes writing her assignments for her history class. She misses attending class at her school and seeing her best friends. She even misses arguing with Mrs. Tanaka and Mr. Suzuki. She briefly wonders if her town has learned the truth behind Emica and her. Everyone is probably whispering about her and about how they always knew there was something wrong with her family. That is what small towns do when drama happens, they pretend they knew about it the entire time and that everyone else must be dumb. She secretly misses Shirakawa. Sure, everyone knew each other, but everyone took care of each other too. Her neighbors brought over soup whenever Emica got sick. Everyone would donate and pitch in whenever a family was suffering. Birthday parties were always a blast because everyone would force their children to go. She leans her head against her hand and stares out the window, eyeing the crowds of people staring at the mansion as if they were trying to get the slightest glimpse of her. People are shoving each other over as they record the mansion with their phones. She even spots a person try to hop the fence, but he got tackled by security pretty quickly. As soon as this behavior fades away, she would be permitted out of the mansion. A knock on the door breaks her out of her thoughts. "Come in!" She calls out. The door opens to reveal Hana standing there. She curtsies towards Asami before making her way over to the desk.
"Miss Souh, your father is requesting your presence in the dining room for lunch." Hana seems a bit nervous as she glances at Asami's pajamas. "I do have to warn you, Miss Souh, your grandmother is here. You should probably get dressed in something more suitable for a lady of your stature." Hana heads to the closet and opens it, she rampages through it. Asami honestly has not looked through it too much because all the clothes are too fancy for her. She usually lounges around in her silky pajamas all day. She furrows her eyebrows, trying to imagine how her grandmother would be. When she asked Tamaki about her, he got very skittish and told her to be extremely careful around the old woman. Apparently, their grandmother is a traditional woman and does everything in her power to ensure that their family's reputation is pristine. Hana pulls out a nice dusty blue dress that has a sweetheart neckline, cuffed sleeves, and looks that it would go to Asami's knees. Hana also pulls out a pair of white tights and lays the items on Asami's bed. "And you should wear these," Hanna pulls out a pair of fancy looking inside slippers. Asami stares at the items, her mind racing on all the possibilities of how this interaction could end up. Is Tamaki right? Will she be a tyrant? "She will be expecting you to arrive in the next few minutes. Please hurry." Hana leaves to give her privacy. Asami gently lets her fingers run across the fabric of the dress before she takes her pajamas off and changes. She heads to her bathroom and squirts some perfume her last minutes in case Shizue has something to say about her smell. She heads out of her room, nodding towards Hana who quickly escorts her to the dining room hall. "Miss Souh, please do not speak unless a question is directed towards you. Do not look Mrs. Souh in the eye and treat her with respect." Asami grows more cocnerned at Hana's words. Just how horrible is her grandmother? She wanted a grandmother growing up. She wanted someone to bake her cookies and coddle her whenever her mother would be too harsh about something. She wanted someone that would make her soup when she was sick and knit her cute clothing. She enters the dining hall and immediately notices the tension within the room. Tamaki is staring blankly down at plate in front of him, sitting in a chair far away from the head table chair where an old woman with dark grey hair and brown eyes sits. Yuzuru sits at the seat next to her.
"You took too long. It is unladylike to make people wait for your presence. Now sit," Shizue claps her hands and one of the other servants hurries to pull the chair out from across Tamaki out. Asami is slightly shocked by the pure rudeness and coldness in her voice and how disgusted she looks whenever she glances at Tamaki. Asami takes her seat quietly, clasping her hands in her lap. "What name are you going by, child?"
"Asami." She replies.
"Good, you will never go by your given birth name while you live here. I expect to be addressed with respect. You will call me ma'am," Shizue narrows her eyes at the young girl. "I was hoping we would never find you. It is hard enough to explain the existence of one filthy child, but two? You truly are a disgrace to the Souh family, Yuzuru." Asami blinks in surprise at her words. Tamaki was right, their grandmother is a tyrant. She definitely will not be getting coddled or any cookies from this woman. Her entire vision of a grandmother has been absolutely destroyed in seconds. "Now it has come to my attention that you currently live in this mansion. That is unacceptable. This is the main home for the Souh family. This property is only meant for pure Souh blooded people. You will be moving into the second mansion at once with him." Asami glances over at Tamaki. She did not know that the two did not even reside in the same mansion. She also does not like how much venom Shizue has in her tone when she addresses Tamaki. She bites her tongue, listening to Hana's warning about not talking unless asked a question. "I cannot believe that neither of your filthy children look anything like you. They look exactly like their dreaded mother." Shizue scrunches her nose up in disgust. "It will take a while to find anyone willing to marry such dirty blood." Marry? Asami's eyes widen as she quickly looks up and locks eyes with Tamaki who stares at her in sympathy. "Asami, you will be attending finishing school next week. You will be taught how to properly act like a lady and how to keep the Souh family name respected. A teacher from Nishio Gaku will be personally coming here to teach you. I expect to only hear great thing about you from him." Asami goes to open her mouth to ask about what she should do with her current schooling when Shizue hold a hand out to stop her. "Do not speak. There should be no questions. We are in business contracts with many extremely important families and I will not have a filthy girl ruin anything that I have built." Asami feels her anger slowly rising to a point where she may just completely lose it on this woman. "Now, onto business, there is a charity event being held at Ise Sueyoshi tomorrow. We will be introducing Asami to the public there. It is time for people to see her and for us to start introducing her to bachelors." Asami feels the color drain from her face. She wishes she was in Shirakawa with Emica right now. Emica would not have forced her to enter an arranged marriage with someone at her age. Tears build up in her eyes as she slowly realizes that her life will never truly be hers again. She will be under the constant eye and criticism of Shizue Souh for the rest of her life. "The event starts at 8, I expect everyone to be ready to go by 6. Now," she claps her hands and a bunch of chefs come out with food, "let's eat. I am absolutely famished." Lobster, caviar, sea scallops and shrimp are placed on the plate in front of Asami. She grimaces, still not use to eating fancy rich people food after being here for a few days. Usually, Yuzuru would ask Asami what she likes to eat and the chefs would make that for her. It seems that Shizue is doing her hardest to transform Asami into someone she simply is not.
•••
Asami stares at her old bedroom, watching as the maids pack the clothes from the closet in boxes and take them to her new room in the other mansion. There were no clothes in her new room apparently so Shizue has ordered that all the clothes from this room be moved to that one. She tiredly rubs her face while wishing that this is all a bad dream. "Asami?" She glances over to see Tamaki making his way towards her. He smiles sadly at her. "I'm sorry about how lunch went. Our grandmother is something else." He says.
"No kidding," she snorts and pauses to stare at him. "There's something I've wanted to ask you for a few days now, but I couldn't bring myself to."
"Ask away," he stares at her curiously. Through the entire time she has been here, she has never really asked many questions. She answers any questions that Tamaki comes up with yet she does not come up with many for him to answer. He assumes it's because she is still adjusting the their new siblings roles and may feel awkward asking him certain things.
"How did you end up here? The last memory I have is us being with mom in France. What happened?" She asks. Flashbacks of what occurred play in front of his eyes, making him relive the day his life changed forever. She sees the turmoil that enters his eyes and honestly regrets asking.
"Father has no other children. We are the only ones that can carry the Souh name on. Grandmother came and got me when I was fourteen. She took me back here so I can become the Souh heir. Now that you are here, you'll be arranged to marry someone that can further advance the Souh company and reputation." He softly explains.
"So we're pawns." She laughs lifelessly. "I went from having total control over my own life to suddenly having rules to follow and now I don't even get a say in who I marry." She shakes her head. "Is she always like this?"
"Unfortunately." He sighs. "She doesn't stay for long luckily. She'll probably leave after the charity event tomorrow." That is a relief. Asami can be herself and just act like the perfect little lady whenever Shizue was visiting.
"What's finishing school?" She asks. She has heard of that term before from other girls in her class. Their parents were putting them in those type of schools instead of sending them to a proper high school to continue their education.
"Have you ever watched Barbie movies growing up?" He questions which she nods her head yes to. "Did you remember in Princess and the Pauper how the Pauper has to go through some training to properly act like a Princess?" She nods her head yes again. "It's like that. You'll be taught etiquette, how to charm people, how to sit correctly, how to eat, how to talk and how to properly address people. You might be taught how to cook, sew and clean as well."
"Lovely," she groans imagining all the horror next week will bring her. As the two have been talking, multiple maids have exited her room with boxes. Asami notices Hana approaching them and turns her body to face the woman more.
"Miss Souh, that is the last of your things. Let me escort you to your new room," Hana states.
"No need, Hana, I can escort her." Tamaki says and holds out an arm for Asami to take. Asami does, slightly chuckling at her brither's antics. If there is one thing she has learned about him, it is how charming he acts nearly all the time to any woman he comes in contact with.
"Of course, Mr. Souh," Hana curtsies and leaves their presence.
"They're going to teach me how to curtesy." Asami suddenly realizes.
"And how to dance." He interjects.
"Can I be kidnapped again?" She groans, putting her forehead against his bicep as he laughs at her misery.
"I hope you don't get kidnapped again. It's nice having a little sister." Tamaki says. Asami moves her head and watches him. She sees the true happiness in his eyes and hears the sincerity in his voice.
"It's nice having a big brother," she smiles at him. She never imagined having a sibling. She use to be jealous of Hikari and Kaori for having one another. They had each other to play with, to talk to, to fight with, and to hang out with. Asami had no one expect for Emica. It was lonely growing up especially when she would see all the other families in the quaint village. The other kids would not always play with her either since they found her a bit odd with her brightly colored hair and eyes. It was obvious to everyone in the village that she did not truly belong there. She sadly closes her eyes, letting Tamaki lead her blindly. Even now, she does not truly belong in this house and neither does Tamaki. They both belong with their birth mother in France and she is determined to find Anne-Sophie no matter the costs.
•••
Asami is woken by a loud voice calling her name and sunshine blaring in her face. She moans, turning over to cover her face with her pillow when it is yanked off her bed. She blinks slowly as she wakes up to see Hana standing over her with the pillow. "Miss Souh, you must wake up. It is already one in the afternoon and we need to start getting you ready for the charity event tonight." Hana stresses, hurriedly walking to the bathroom. Asami sits up, rubbing her eyes while yawning. Tamaki and her stayed up late last night chatting about their mother. She truly appreciates how willing he is to talk about her with her despite not being able to see her and her missing. Each tiny fact about Anne-Sophie brings Asami one step closer to her mother. She feels like she has always been with them by how Tamaki describes everything in great detail. She removes herself from her bed and heads to the bathroom. Surprisingly, her new room is exactly the same as her old room expect that it is in the second mansion. She wonders why people need more than one mansion. These rich people could be doing so many other better things with their money. "A bath has already been run for you. After you're done, please put your robe on so I may come in and do your hair and makeup."
"Why am I getting ready five hours early?" Asami yawns, putting her hand in the bathtub water to make sure it was warm.
"Because it is going to take me a while to do your hair," Hana replies while leaning over to grab Asami's long hair. "Have you ever thought about cutting it?" Asami snatches her hair back quickly.
"Absolutely not! My hair is precious to me and I only ever cut it as a mourning ritual." Asami informs her.
"Mourning ritual?" Hana pauses and stares at the blonde in confusion.
"In the village I grew up in, no one really cuts their hair. The only time we would is if someone in the community died." Asami answers.
"That is strange, I've never heard of that before," Hana muses.
"It's actually a fairly common practice in a lot of cultures. Other cultures will cover their hair during mourning periods instead of cutting them. It's very interesting." Asami comments as Hana leaves the bathroom. She undresses and sinks into the warm bathtub water. A soft sigh of relief emits from her mouth. At least she can have a few moments of peace before this fairly hectic day truly starts.
"Miss Souh! We don't have all day!" Hana yells from inside the bedroom. Asami groans, sinking further and further into the water until her head is completely covered. Maybe she can drown herself and be put in a psych ward for 72 hours to get out of this charity event. She opens her eyes underwater and stares up at the ceiling. She lets bubbles escape her mouth, watching them rise to the surface. It is so peaceful in water. Asami has always been a water baby according to Emica. Whenever she would be fussy as a child, a dip in the bathtub would immediately put her in a good mood. For some reason, having water completely surrounding her makes herself feel safe, comforted, and warm. If only she was born a fish, she could be living in water every day. She pulls her head out of the water and quickly washes herself and shaves. She gets out of the bathtub, drying herself off and putting lotion on. She slides into the robes laid out for her and walks into her room where Hana is waiting with a curling iron. The next few hours are a blur to Asami with Hana curling her hair and putting some natural looking makeup on her face before forcing her to put on a periwinkle colored dress that looks identical to the dress she wore yesterday for lunch. Asami is once again forced to wear white tights with black flats. She observes herself in the mirror, admiring the small hair accessories Hana put in her curls. They looked like diamond clips that sparkled every time light hit them. "Miss Souh, it is time to leave." Asami blinks in surprise before glancing at the clock. The clock reads 5:49 which shocks her. It truly did take Hana that entire time to do her hair and makeup. Asami follows Hana to the limo where her family is waiting for her. She slips in, sitting beside Tamaki who wears a periwinkle colored suit.
"Once again making us wait for you," Shizue snaps, "finishing school will beat that out of you. Mr. Ackerman, it's time to go." The limo driver nods his head and starts to drive off. The atmosphere within the limo is tense and heavy thus making Asami feel uncomfortable. "When we get there, I want you all to smile and act friendly. We are a family and we shall present ourselves as a united front. Understood?"
"Yes, ma'am." The three other people chorus. Shizue pleasingly hums at the response and turns her attention onto Asami.
"It is good to see that you clean up well. Maybe finding you a husband will not be as hard as I thought it would be. The boys will be falling at your feet at the charity event. Entertain them, they are the sons of families that we want to stay on the good sides of plus," she smirks, "one of them may be your future husband." Asami bites the inside of her cheek hard enough to taste blood. If it weren't for Tamaki holding her hand to calm her down, Asami would be launching herself across these seats and beating the hell out of the old woman. She has no quarrels over beating the crap out of her elders. "One more thing, you will be hounded by paparazzi and journalists as soon as we enter due to your story. I expect to hear great things about this family from your mouth and nothing about that horrible woman who took you." Shizue says horrible woman in a tone that Asami thinks she finds the situation amusing. "We are here, smiles on." The family leaves the limo with smiles on their faces as cameras flash.
"Asami! Asami!" Voices cry out her name.
"What's it like being back with your family?"
"What was it like learning that you were kidnapped?"
"Do you like your real family over your fake one?"
"Do you miss the woman who kidnapped you?" Asami is honestly feeling overwhelmed already by all the eager faces starting at her. It reminds her of when her class was waiting for her to say what school she would be attending. She feels a slight pinch on her back by Shizue and realizes she needs to get into character.
"Hello everyone, my name is Souh Asami. My family has been absolutely wonderful to me since they got me back. Being with them makes me realize how I felt like there was something missing in my life during my childhood and that missing piece has finally been filled. When I discovered that I was actually kidnapped, I was horrified. How could someone do such a thing? I am just glad that I was found and that I am with my real family now, plus I've always wanted a brother and now I got one." She smiles as she wraps her arms around Tamaki.
"How sweet!" The crowd coos, taking a fury of pictures of the siblings before they are ushered into the building.
"Good job," Shizue whispers to her. The building is overrun with people, some are sitting down at tables while others are standing about or walking around. A server bows to the family and escorts them to their table. "Mrs. Ayanokoji, what a pleasure to see that we are sitting with you." Shizue greets the family at the table with hand shakes and smiles. "Please let me introduce my grandchildren. This is Tamaki and Asami. I do believe your daughter is a year above my grandson at Ouran."
"Hello, Mrs. Souh. This is my daughter, Seika, and yes she is. She is quite fond of your boy. Many of the girls at the school are," Mrs. Ayanokoji chuckles. Asami observes the family of three, noting how they are share the same reddish brown hair and grey eyes. "Miss Asami Souh, I heard about what happened in your life and it is truly tragic." There is sadness in the woman's grey eyes.
"I am just lucky that I am with my real family now," Asami gently smiles. Seika seems to scoff at her words, crossing her arms and looking away in a huff. Mr. Ayanokoji gives his daughter a stern look as if this is normal behavior from the girl.
"Of course you are, dear. Nothing is better than having your biological family with you," Mrs. Ayanokoji gazes at Shizue, "you know, I would absolutely love to publish a story like this. A story about how a family suffered a tragic loss and gained their daughter more than a decade later would be a best seller. Everyone would read it." It clicks in Asami's brain that the Ayanokoji must either be writers or publishers or maybe even both.
"It would be a great story, how much of the cut are you willing to give us?" Shizue asks. Asami's eyes widen in shock. Is her grandmother really going to sell her life story off to someone?
"Since we are such close family friends and I know how hard of a topic this has been for your family, how does 30% sound?" Mrs. Ayanokoji offers.
"30 sounds a bit low to me, what if we make it 37%?" Shizue counter offers.
"You always drive a hard bargain," Mrs. Ayanokoji chuckles and places her hand out, "but deal. I can already imagine all the copies of this book we will be selling."
"So can I," Shizue smirks and shakes her hand.
"I'll have to come over and interview each of you for the book." Mrs. Ayanokoji informs them.
"That is expected. I am unfortunately leaving tomorrow because I have other obligations in China to take care of, but you can come to the mansion and interview the others whenever you wish." Shizue informs her.
"Then, you are first up for an interview," Mrs. Ayanokoji states while pulling out a notebook and paper, "how does Finding Souh sound for the title?"
"Perfect," Shizue turns her attention onto her grandchildren, "you two should go talk to the other children." That is their not so subtle cue to go socialize and charm the other families.
"Yes, ma'am." The two chorus with smiles on their faces before leaving the table. The two make it a few feet away and Asami lets her smile fall off her face.
"How dare she?" Asami hisses to Tamaki. "That is my life she wants to be sold to the world to read."
"I'm sorry," Tamaki grabs hold of her hand and squeezes it, "it is not fair for her to offer your life story up like that just so she can make more money." He sighs. "Business can be harsh." He brightens when he spots someone. "Oh! My best friend is here, I can't wait for you to meet him. Kyoya!" He calls out, dragging her quickly with him. "Kyoya, this is my sister, Asami." A tall male turns around and Asami is immediately blown away by how handsome the boy looks. He has short black hair, brownish grey eyes, and black rimless glasses sitting on top of his nose.
"Hello," Kyoya greets in a cold tone which ends any attraction Asami felt towards him in that moment. Her eye twitches as she feels the cold, detached and demeaning aura emitting from him. "Do you not speak Japanese well?" He asks after a moment of silence from her.
"I can speak it just fine, thank you." Asami snips back. "Hello." How can her sweet, caring brother be friends with someone who looks and feels so evil?
"What do you want, Tamaki?" Kyoya sighs. "I am a bit busy with my family." Asami glances over his shoulder to see four men and two women curiously looking back the trio.
"I wanted you to meet my sister! I think the two of you will get along great, she's diligent in her work just like you!" Tamaki gushes. "She's into numbers too so you guys can bond over math." He grins happily. Asami tries to not face palm at his words.
"Ah Miss and Mr. Souh, what a pleasure," one of the men approach them with a friendly tone in his voice. Asami feels how fake the friendliness is in waves. "I am Ootori Yoshiro, are you here to talk about the recent employment of my Black Onion Squad?"
"We were not aware of the recent employment," Tamaki informs them, "May I ask why my grandmother has hired the squad?"
"She has tasked us to hunt down your kidnapper," Yoshiro informs them while gesturing towards Asami who has her fists balled behind her back.
"It is nice to know that such a powerful group will be searching for her. I am sure she will be captured in no time," Asami grins at the man. Inside her soul, she wants to break down. She does not wish for Emica to spend the rest of her life in jail despite what she has done.
"What a lovely young lady you are," Yoshiro comments and glances to see Shizue, "please excuse me." He leaves to go speak to the leader of the Souh family. Asami uncurls her fists, gritting her teeth together a bit to release some of the anger building up within her. She feels eyes on her and turns to see Kyoya watching her every move like a stalker.
"Why didn't you tell me my family hired your police force?" Tamaki whines, pulling on Kyoya's arm.
"I wasn't aware that I had to inform you of such things." Kyoya comments and Asami can see an arrow shoot through the air and nail Tamaki in the heart.
"You're so mean!" Tamaki cries out before getting distracted. "Why are the devils here?" He screeches. Asami glances to see him gesturing towards two twin boys. Both have red hair and amber colored eyes. One of them has their hair parted to the left and the other has theirs to the right. Tamaki suddenly spins around to shake Asami. "Never go near the devil twins! They will corrupt your pure soul!" He has crocodile tears running down his face. Honestly, Asami knows her brother can be dramatic and emotional, but this is on a whole new level.
"Hello, boss," Tamaki pales and his soul leaves his body. "Is this your sister?" The twins smirk and they each take a side of Asami, wrapping their arm around her. "I'm Hikaru," the one with the left parted hair says, "and I'm Kaoru," the one with the right parted hair says, "it's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too, I'm Asami." Asami removes herself from their grips. She finds it a bit odd that her two best friends, Hikari and Kaori, resemble these twins, Hikaru and Kaoru, in personality too much. It feels like she is in the presence of her best friends. She genuinely grins at the twins, appreciating the rare homey feeling.
"Oh look, boss," Hikaru points across the room, "it looks like Honey and Mori are here too."
"Isn't it lovely that the entire club gets to meet your sister tonight?" Kaoru snickers and Hikaru joins in as this was an inside joke that Asami did not understand. Asami turns to see a very short looking boy and a very tall looking boy walking towards them.
"Tama-Chan!" The short blonde boy greets happily as he holds a pink stuffed bunny in his hands. "Your sister is so pretty! Hi, I'm Haninozuka Mitsukuni but you can call me Honey!" Asami smiles at the happiness spilling out of the boy. "And this is my cousin, Morinozuka Takahsi but you can call him Mori!" The tall black haired boy nods his head at her in greeting.
"I'm Asami. It is so nice to meet some of Tamaki's friends." She greets and smiles at them all. A screech is heard behind her before suddenly, Tamaki is standing in front of her while failing his arms about.
"No! It's not nice! How dare you cretins even look at my precious sister? It's okay, big brother is here to protect you." Tamaki engulfs her in a tight hug while shooting glares at his friends. The twins snicker, knowing that Tamaki warned them all to not overwhelm his sister with introductions tonight at school earlier today. Tamaki releases her to shout at the twins for trying to rub their devilish ways off on her so early. Asami watches the group interact in amusement. To her, it seems like this group of friends have formed their own little family. She is glad her brother had such close people in his life especially after seeing how their grandmother treats him. She can get use to this. A small vibration in her dress pocket catches her attention and she pulls out her phone. She glances down at the screen to freeze at the message notification.
From: Unknown
You look beautiful in that dress tonight, my little butterfly
The only person to ever call Asami that was Emica. Her head snaps up and she widely glances around. Kyoya notices the strange behavior. "Is everything alright, Asami?" He asks which catches the attention of the other hosts.
"Asami?" Tamaki approaches his sister and gently touches her arm after seeing the alarm on her face.
"She's here." Asami breathes out, showing him the message. "Emica is here somewhere."
