⭐️ 75: Marcus ⭐️

Capital punishment was a legal penalty in the U.S. state of Florida. Since 1976, the state executed 99 convicted murderers, all at Florida State Prison.

Of the 99 people executed, 44 have been executed by electric chair and 55 have been executed by lethal injection. The last person to be executed was Gary Ray Bowles: the I-95 killer.

A wave of nausea swept over his body, Marcus was faced with the inevitable.

I will live.

Someone else will be after Gary.

In the name of Yeshua I claim the victory!

I speak it!

Maybe he shouldn't say inevitable, because he hasn't been tried in a court of law nor was he found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Even though he knew that people were gunning for him, he was unnaturally calm. The public wanted his head after the prosecutors slandered his name all over the news.

It wasn't up to them, but after Charles informed him that eleven jurors were white and a twelfth one was Oreo cookie black, he refused to think of what he wanted for his last meal.

He would have a gazillion more meals, shidddd. He even thought about how he was going to steam his crab legs, sautee his shrimp. With lots of vegetables and lemon juice freshly squeezed from lemons, seafood seasoning (preferably Old Bay), and enjoying it with family and friends.

He also visualized spending time with Harry. Getting to know Harry. Marrying Harry. But in his heart he kind of knew that wasn't going to suffice because he hasn't told Harry that he had a relationship with his father, Dime, when he was in prison the first time.

When Harry found out would Harry hate him? Would Harry look at him differently?

Would Harry not want him in this life? Have nothing to do with him? How could he even sleep at night knowing he hadn't even told Harry he used to have sex with his father in prison?

Marcus had the father, and then the son.

How could he think about eating or potential relationships when his life hung in the balance.

His fate would be up to twelve strangers that knew nothing about him or his situation.

All he did was protect Harry from a person, Bob Grimes, that killed his husband Jonathon in a DUI.

Where they did that at?

How did it turn into him facing life in prison, not even that. They wanted to take his life. As if these crackers were God.

Alana's racist bitch ass painted him out to be a monster. In spite of it all he kept his prayers going up to his Heavenly Father, God, in the name of Jesus. The one who has the final say.

Marcus was a strong man, but knowing that corrupt prosecutors were trying to get him the death penalty by lethal injection to fulfill a sick need for political success made him sick to his stomach.
