It's okay to say goodbye to a friend who you've known for over half your life. It's okay to block them from everything and never look back when you know they're not good for you. When they don't care and they never did- except for what they could get from you.

Don't accept a sub-par friendship. Friendship- real friendship- makes you feel as if you have a boner in your heart. You genuinely love being friends with them! You love talking to them and you never have to feel bad to tell them about your feelings.

So don't accept shitty friendships.

And then there's the friends who you wish you had never said goodbye to. You still wish you could say hi to them and tell them about your day. Speak to them at 3 in the morning when you know they're awake and never have to worry about them being offended if you don't reply.

Sometimes you really miss those friends.
