So today is the day when the dance is going to be held. Classes are already done for the winter, and all we need to do is rehearse for tonight's show. Well, we finished our exams yesterday and as expected we aced it. There's no weird things happening and no threats visible so far. I'm glad that we didn't have to fight anybody yesterday, maybe the ice witch is still gathering forces right after we defeated her minions. So the rehearsal started and it was fine. "Guys, wait." Kyle suddenly stopped singing. "What's happening? We seem to be a little bit off today. There's something wrong, something different than how we used to do it." He said in frustration. We tried to play to see what's off and I realized that it was me, I'm playing it wrong. "Sorry Kyle, I'm the one who's messing it up." I stated and Darius hit me on the back of my head glaring. "Are you okay Dyl?" He asked me in concern. "Yeah, I just feel a little bit tired I guess?" I admitted. "It's okay, let's take a break for a minute guys." Everyone nodded. "I'll make refreshments." Then Kyle left the room and headed to the kitchen, Tim went with him to give him a little help. I literally saw Darius' face redden, he's only like that when he is jealous. Well of course I just laughed at him and he kicked me on my sheen, it was kinda painful I will admit it.

So Kyle and Tim came back with snacks and beverages, damn the food smells so good I'm drooling. "Dylan close your mouth please a fly might go in there." Kyle said and I closed my mouth as my face heats up. "Yeah bro, you really look like a total idiot." Darius commented and I just glared at him. "Shut up, I know you're drooling too but, not on the food, right Timmy?" Timmy look confused and Darius' face turned as red as a tomato. "Shut the fuck up Dylan, I hate you!" I laughed at that and he threw his mini bag at my face. Keith looks so amused by the events, Kyle just sighed, Tim is still looking confused and Aven still looks like he doesn't care at all. "Okay guys let's eat, we still have a long day of practicing. Our performance is tonight so yeah I hope this lighten up the tension." Kyle said as he offered us food. "No, Kylie babe this created more tension!" Darius blurted I growled at him and Kyle's eyes widened. "Come on Dar, stop teasing Kyle and just shove food in your mouth." Keith said while Dar grab a sandwich as he rolls his eyes. "What just happened, uhm Aven?" Aven is still on his phone while munching. "Oh that? The three of them wanted to be a three way so bad." Darius announced, Kyle choked on his sandwich while Keith and I shouted an annoyed 'Hey' at him. Aven look for a second while Tim just mouthed an "O".

We rehearsed for hours and hours until we felt every song felt right. We just arrived in the gymnasium where we will perform later on, we went straight backstage and wait for us to be called on stage I
and perform through the night. So currently, the principal is giving his opening remarks and it's taking quite long actually it's boring. I didn't mean to be rude but, his speech could be better and shorter, just saying. So we waited for a few minutes more before the host take over again and check on the bored crowed who are waiting for the talking to stop and the moving to start. We heard the host introduce us and call us out to the stage. "That's out the guy, good luck to us." Aven finally speak up and it shocked all of us but, not Tim. "He talks when he's nervous, so just chill." He told us and we run up to the stage and go to our respected spots. Kyle stood in front of the microphone so confidently, I'm so mesmerized by him. "Good evening to y'all we're Mageeks and we will perform all the songs that you'll dance to all night. So, if y'all are ready here's our first song and, it's Never Really Over by Katy Perry." Yes, Mageeks is our band name, Keith came up with it and we agreed to it cause we can't thing of anything else. Right after that introduction we started playing.

Damn, his high notes are so damn good I just don't want it to be over. Well I know it's great because the crowed cheered and screamed his name, he just wave at then and continue performing like a pop star that he is. I look around and see my bandmates smiling like a fool like me because, everything is going smoothly. I return my gaze to Kyle, I play harder and the crowd free wilder.

As he sustained the note longer than the original version, the music died and that was it for our first song. "Alrighty, that was are first song for tonight so lemme check on you guys. Are y'all frick'n good?!" Kyle shouted and everybody screamed in excitement. "Alright, the night is still young so let's move on to the next song. We played Desire by Years and Years next, then Talking bodies by Tove Lo. We played a couple of more songs right after that and now, we are on our sixth song and it was Backseat by Charli XCX featuring Carly Rae Jepsen. As the melody starts I just saw Kyle get lost into the music.

Keith started getting close to his microphone as he takes over on Carly Rae Jepsen's part. I have heard Keith sing before but, today he's different, he sounds like he's giving it his all to match up Kyle's mesmerizing performance. Everybody cheered for him as he serenade the crowd with his angelic voice.

Kyle's voice is so ethereal, and he also hasn't notice that he's starting to dance and move around the stage. Wow he's so good and sexy, I didn't know he have killer moves like these. We played four more songs and now I think we are on our eleventh one before we play Narcissist prior to the announcement of the King and Queen of the Winter Dance.
