Helena wandered the woods alone. Her body shaking and trembling. She had spared Tyler's life and was preparing to lie about his death, but she needed to figure how to do it.

The wind howled through her body, and the cold overwhelmed her. She wrapped her cloak about her chest, and lifted her hood over her head. She kept the knife in between her palms, and allowed her blood to drip upon her shivering legs.

"Oh, what must I do?" She said to herself. "Where am I to find a heart? A beating heart?"

Suddenly, a wild boar came running out in front of her; causing her to slip and fall upon the bitter chilling ground.

Helena laid very still, and she did not move, but the cries of the boar urged her to get back to her feet.

When she stood up, Helena gazed her eyes upon the boar as it bit away at the limbs of the evergreen.

Instantly, she had a plan.

She took out her knife and walked towards the animal. Her feet tip-toed across the grass, and she didn't make any noise.

When it was the right moment, Helena slew the boar. Its blood mist across her face, like the light sprinkle of rain, but with a taste of crimson and death.

As the animal died, Helena sprung into action. She cut out its heart, and put into a box. Then she got to her feet and left the woods; leaving the boars body behind.

Back at the house, the aunt gazed into her looking glass. She saw the wrinkles of hate upon her face, and felt as if her skin was peeling away.

But before she could process it further, Helena arrived. She was covered in blood; holding a box in her hand.

The evil woman stood up in delight.

"Ah, Helena! You have come!"

"Y-Yes, milady."

She met with her in the middle of the room.

"Is it done?"

Helena held out the box containing the heart.

"It is done."

The aunt took the box from Helena's grasp, and she held it in her hands. It felt cold and heavy, with a violent beat.

When she opened the box, it revealed a big, dark red heart of a boar, which the aunt believed was Tyler's beating heart.

"What a strong heart he had."

"Y-Yes, milady."

She closed the box and placed it next to her looking glass.

"You've done well, Helena. What do you say we share it?"

"W-What do you mean, milady?"

"I mean, we consume."

She took Helena's knife from her pocket.

"After all, you did bring it for me, and I can't leave you out of the celebration."

The girl felt chills coming up her arms.

"Y-Yes, milady-"

"Queen is my name."

"Q-Queen."

The aunt smiled.

"Yes."

She started cleaning the knife.

"Helena, my dear. Go get the stew pot ready, and make sure it is boiling hot."

The girl lowered her head and nodded.

"Y-Yes, milady- I mean, Queen."

~

Helena went into the kitchen and readied the stew pot. The woman brought the heart and placed it on the table.

With one slick slash, she cut the heart in two, and dropped it into the stew pot. Once it was in, she licked away the blood from her fingers and the knife.

She cut her tongue; feeling the taste of salty red.

"I may have left blood on my tongue, but no worries."

The evil woman cooked the stew; adding salt and pepper; along with a slight hint of paprika. As the steam rose into the air, she smelt every last bit.

"This is truly divine."

Helena stood and watched. She wasn't pleased with the stew smell. She was disgusted at what the aunt was doing if it were Tyler's heart.

When the aunt was finished, she poured two scoops into a bowl for her and Helena.

The girl didn't want to eat the boar's heart, but she felt she had no choice, for if she refused, she would surely be killed.

The aunt sat down and placed a napkin over her lap, then grabbed a spoon.

"Now, we shall consume."

~

With one dip, the aunt took her first bite. It was the most delightful taste she ever had. Every drip danced in her taste buds, then was washed away with wine.

"Such a wonderful heart. It's such a shame it had to be taken from my nephew. If he hadn't been so beautiful, he would still be alive."

Helena turned away and silently scorned.

"Tyler is alive. The heart I gave you what the heart of a boar."

The evil woman looked upon the girl; still licking at her lips and sniffing the stew.

"Helena, dear. Are you going to eat?"

The girl stood looked back at her.

"Would you be offended if I said no?"

"Of course not, my dear, but if you're not hungry, this is all you're going to eat."

Helena stood up from her chair.

"Then, I won't eat today."

The aunt took another sip.

"Very well. You're free to go now."

~

Helena went outside of the house and sat upon the steps. She looked off into the distance, and pictured Tyler dancing along the road; his beauty glowing with the sun.

She missed him dearly, and was saddened to know his father would never see him again. The aunt was going to tell him that he died, and she would be to blame.

But at the same time, She was happy that he was still alive, and that she didn't have to kill him. She hoped he found Josh and would be safe from his aunt.

But she doesn't know the real truth, and she may find out that her nephew still lives.
