3 days later...
Tyler sat on his bed in his bedroom; looking out the window of his home. He was dressed in a black suit with the floral kimono wrapped around him. He was wearing black shoes with red socks, and his brunette fluffy hair dawned a beautiful white and red rose crown.
It's been three days since he came home and reunited with his father, and it was the big day he had dreamed of since Josh first proposed to him.
The day of his wedding had finally come.
As he watched the sun shine upon his bridal figure, there was a knock at his bedroom door. He turned and smiled.
"Come in."
When the door opened, Helena walked in. She was dressed in a green floral dress, and she had a evergreen headband that covered her curly ginger hair.
She was carrying the veil that was gonna be put over Tyler's rose crown.
A smile lit over her face.
"My, dearest Tyler."
She walked over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"I am so proud of you."
The boy smiled back.
"Thank you, Helena."
She wrapped her arms around him, and they both looked into the mirror, where Tyler saw how he looked with his rare beauty and as a bride to be.
Helena could help but smile and adore him.
"You're such a beautiful bride. I know your mother would be so happy."
Tyler nodded; grinning.
"I know she would. Her gift of rare beauty as protected me."
"And, it always will."
Helena went ahead and placed the veil over Tyler's rose crown.
As the child watched, tears filled his eyes.
When she finished, she looked into the mirror; seeing the rarest of beauty within the pure child.
"Now, you look like a true bride." Helena said; her hands pressed on his shoulders.
Tyler smiled to her.
As she did some final touches on him, Tyler's father had come to escort him to the ceremony. When he saw his son, tears began to flow.
"My dear, Tyler, is that you?"
The child nodded.
"Yes, father."
He walked over to him and took his hands.
"You are so beautiful."
He kissed him on the forehead.
"Your mother would be so proud of you."
"I know she would." The boy replied.
His father smiled, then held out his arm.
"Come, let's get you married."
~
The wedding ceremony took place in the meadow of the family backyard. The officiant stood in the middle with Josh, the groom, on his left, and Mark, the maid of honor, on his right.
Next to Josh was his best man, Gerard, and Brycen, his groomsman. Next to Mark was Sydney and Imogene, the two bridesmaids. Then, coming down the isle, was Gertie, as the flower boy, and Harry, and the ring bearer.
Finally, when everyone was ready, it was Tyler's time to walk down the isle. His father was by his side, while Helena walked behind and held his veil train.
As Tyler and Josh watched each other, their eyes were full of tears. This was the day they promised each other, and now it was coming true.
When Tyler finally reached his soon to be husband, his father kissed his son and fiancé, then went to stand with Helena.
The officiant began to speak, and the ceremony began.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of God, to give recognition to the beauty of love that is shared between Tyler Robert Joseph, and Joshua William Dun, as they complete their family in holy matrimony. The joining of two hearts as man and husband is a commitment like no other. It offers opportunities for sharing and for personal growth that no other human relationship can equal. Marriage encourages new life and new experiences, and finds new ways of expressing love through ups and downs of life."
The officiant looked to both Tyler and Josh.
"Tyler and Josh, as your journey begins as man and husband, I would ask you both remember to always treat each other respect, love, and remind yourselves often of what brought you both here today."
Tyler handed his bouquet of roses to Mark, then the two joined hands.
The officiant turned to Josh.
"Joshua William Dun, do you take, Tyler Robert Joseph, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from his day forward, to love, honor, and cherish, in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"
Josh nodded; smiling.
"I do."
The officiant turned to Tyler.
"Tyler Robert Joseph, do you take, Joshua William Dun, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from his day forward, to love, honor, and cherish, in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"
Tyler happily smiled.
"I do."
The officiant looked over to Harry.
"May we now have the rings?"
Harry presents the rings to the couple, then the officiant looks to Josh.
"Josh, please place the ring on Tyler's finger and repeat after me."
He does what he instructed.
"Tyler Joseph, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, and that I'm choosing to share my life's journey with you."
Josh repeats what he said, then the officiant tells Tyler to do the same thing.
"Now, Tyler, please place the ring on Josh's finger and repeat after me."
The boy does what he instructed like before.
"Joshua Dun, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love, and that I'm choosing to share my life's journey with you."
Tyler repeats him, and the two smile to one another; knowing what's coming next.
"By the power vested in me by the State of Ohio, I now pronounce you, man and husband. God has brought you both together, let no man separate."
The officiant looks to Josh; trying to fight back tears.
"Josh, you may kiss your beautiful bride."
The man takes the boy into his arms and kisses him, while the father, Helena, and the knights clap and cheer.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it is my privilege to introduce to you, for the very first time, Mr. and Mr. Joshua William Joseph Dun!"
When their names were announced, the newlyweds raised their hands in the air and ran down the isle.
As the group followed them, they went out into the streets of Clancy Way for the first time as a married couple.
After everything they went through, and the adventures and challenges they've faced, their love brought them together, and they new it would live on for the rest of their lives.
Tyler's rare beauty and Josh's eternal love sealed their everlasting bond; promising that they would be together forever and always.
The end
