Many years past by. Life seemed to be the same. Spring had come, and the family was prospering.

Tyler was 15 years old, and had grown into a beautiful young boy, with a rare beauty and pure heart, just like what his mother promised.

His skin was as white as snow, his cheeks were red as rubies, and his hair was dark like the night sky.

The boy had a special relationship with his father, and got along with his aunt very well, but they never knew each other that well.

She was always hidden in her room, looking into her hand mirror; adjusting her looks.

Tyler's father was happy that his son had a wonderful life, but hoped that the aunt would open up to him and appreciate him more.

The boy loved his aunt, but did his best not to let her absence bother him. He focused on the good of the world and the happiness that surrounded him.

But he always hoped that someday, things would change.

During this time, Tyler had developed a friendship with Joshua Dun, a 21 year old boy who lived nearby. They met each other a year ago, and had known each other since.

Josh is described as a lilac looking boy, charming and kind with a sweet looking face. His pink hair flowed like roses, and his brown eyes was a shade of dark chocolate.

The two hung out everyday, and shared some unforgettable moments together, making their friendship a strong one.

One day, they went out on a little walk in the neighborhood. They held hands as they did.

"I can't believe we've been friends for 2 years."

"I know." Tyler replied. "It's so amazing."

"How does your father feel about it?" Josh asked.

"He's very happy for me. He's always wanted me to have a friend, and I have one."

Josh smiled.

"I'm very thankful for our friendship, Tyler. It really makes us strong."

As they walked, Josh noticed how his friend's beauty flowed within him. He couldn't help but watch him.

"You have such a beauty in you." He said. "It's deep within your soul."

The boy turned to him.

"You think so?"

"Yes. It's like you have a special power inside you, filling you with the beauty. I don't know how you got it, but it just makes you wonderful."

"My father told me I have a rare beauty. It came to me when I was born, and my mother said that nobody could possess it."

"What happened to your mother?" Josh asked.

"She died shortly after I was born. Now I have my aunt taking care of me, but she's never around a lot."

The boy smiled.

"But, that's okay. I tend not to worry about it. I have my father."

He turned to Josh.

"And I have you."

The pink haired boy smiled back, kissing Tyler's hand.

"I'm so glad to call you my friend, my sweet Tyler Joseph."

"Me too, my dear Joshua Dun."

A few hours later, Tyler returned home. When he got inside his house, he saw his father sitting with his aunt, sharing wine.

He wanted to say hi to him, but he didn't want to upset his aunt, so he headed upstairs. But before he could take a step, his father called to him.

"Tyler, come, my darling."

The boy turned around and approached his father.

"Yes, father."

"How was your walk with Josh?"

"It was good."

"I'm glad."

He touched his son's cheek.

"Your rare beauty is really showing. Your mother would be very proud of you."

"Thank you, father."

When the aunt heard this, she was livid. Even if Tyler was her nephew, she couldn't stand hearing that his beauty was more fair than hers.

That evening, the aunt went before her looking glass, asking it the question.

"Greetings, magical looking glass. Tell me who is the most beautiful in all of the land."

The looking glass responded, but with a different answer.

"You, my lovely lady, are very beautiful, but Tyler Joseph is most beautiful in all of the land."

Suddenly, an image of the boy appeared on the looking glass.

When the aunt saw that Tyler was now the most beautiful in the land, she was filled with anger and envy. Her face turned green with fury and rage.

From that moment on, every time she looked at the boy, she hated him more and more. She couldn't bare having him be more beautiful than her.

She realized that the only way to become the most beautiful in the land was to get rid of Tyler and take his rare beauty for herself.
