Alright, so firstly, I'm going to try to get Chapter 3 of Project Cerinia finished by Tuesday, and hopefully edited and posted on Wednesday... I think I can make that a goal, I'm going up to Columbus with my bro while he is at school all night so I'll have several hours to do nothing but write, which will motivate me to get the next chapter done.

As for the rant, the clearly obvious thing I'm realizing is that I definitely won't be done with Cerinia by the end of the summer. Even if I wrote like a maniac and got a chapter or two a week done, I still might not finish it, and the fact that it wouldn't be the same quality it would be if I took my time and did a good job with it. Also, I have a lot of stuff going on, it's hard to commit enough time to get it all done. So, not to say that I'm giving up on getting it done or I'm going to slow down, but I'm just accepting that I won't get it all done right away and that's ok. I'll write when I can, and get what I can done, but I'll have to put it on pause during school mostly and come back to it on breaks.

When I wrote Eclipse, I did write it in a single summer (the first draft anyway), so I set that as the goal for Cerinia. However, things are different now. I work more hours, on top of the fact that I can't write at work with this job, and I'm married and everything, so my time is spent in different ways now. I don't have all the "free time" I did two years ago. So setting the same kind of goal doesn't make sense, I don't have the same kind of time to write like I did.

And I'm not complaining at all about it, just putting it how it is and realizing what is doable and what is not... So anyway, long story short, I'm going to write as much as I can and get as far as possible this summer. I'm going to make Cerinia as good as it possibly can be, and if I have to wait and finish it during or after school on break, that's how it will be. Chapter 3 should be coming in the next couple days, so keep an eye out for it! Again, have a good Monday! (As good as a Monday can be, anyway, lol)
