It's around 7:30pm. My wife and I decided we would go to BDubs in town where I go to school since I was there for a meeting tonight.

So we get there and put in our names. We are told there will be a 10-15min wait. That's cool, no problem. So we sit and wait a bit.

Our names get called. Alright, so we are taken to our seats and we sit down. It's pretty busy, it's a Thursday night at a big university so, as you might expect, there are lots of college kids out. It's whatever, but again, it's crowded and pretty busy inside.

So we wait. Wait for someone to get us something to drink, take our orders, and so on. Now it's getting around 8, actually 5 past 8. We sat there and wondered if they knew we needed to be served. I knew I wasn't invisible, I was alive and everything, so we keep waiting.

Finally at 8:10, right as we are contemplating going home and getting a pizza, someone comes and asks us what we would like to drink and order. So we put in our orders and everything, all going well, besides the fact we had been there for around 40 minutes and just got our orders in.

But then it gets serious. It's crazy, the restaurant is all packed, people are waiting in groups to be seated, and our food is yet to show. Time goes by. I check my phone and it's 8:25. Not too bad, food should be on its way, at least being cooked and whatever. More time passes, and my wife and I talk back and forth, waiting for our food.

I check my phone again and it's nearly 8:50. Getting a little late, we have been there an hour or more and still no food. Finally, at 9, our server tells us that our food is just being prepared and should be out in 10 minutes.

It's not like I'm upset or anything, but it's been an hour since being seated and our food is literally just getting started...

So finally, after waiting nearly an hour and a half, we get our food. I got wings, and French fries with cheese because I love those from BDubs. The waitress asks us if there's anything else we would like, and I ask for bleu cheese for my wings. So she leaves and goes to get it.

...... And after all that wait......

They don't even have bleu cheese. Sad day.... The food was good and stuff, but we really had to wait all night for it.... And then we get the 40 minute drive home afterward, putting us home after 10:15.

So that was my interesting dinner experience tonight. I thought I'd go ahead and share that with you guys.
