My nickname: I go by Lysia, but most people mispronounce it (or it takes them a few tries before getting it right). So, I prefer to go with AJ.

Eye color: Dark brown. Or like wet soil if I'm in the sun.

Hair color: Black. I hate it, because it feels like a furnace under the Indonesian scorching sun. Let me tell you, I could cook something on my head if I stand outside for too long.

Fun fact about me: I don't really know anything interesting that's worth talking about.

I've lived alone since I was fourteen. I'm seventeen now. It's kinda complicated, because I have to take care about absolutely everything (except for money that my parents send every month.) I have to manage my school work and other stuff all by myself. I'm still learning and I absolutely hate it, but this is a good life lesson, so I won't complain too much about it. 

The reason I live alone is because I go to school in Surabaya (East Java) and my family lives in Yogyakarta (Central Java). These cities are 300 kilometers (186.4 miles) away from each other, so I don't see them often. And I don't live in like a school dorm where you don't have to worry too much about food or housing pay. I live in a house that is shared with 24 other people and we buy everything for ourselves. So yeah, I'm learning how to manage my money, too. I'm not very good at that, so sometimes I get broke for like a week before more money comes in.

Favorite color: Cyber-yellow

Favorite place: Kintamani in Singaraja, Bali. Since my family is from Bali, we go there often. I never got bored of this place.

I also really like the Ijen crater in Banyuwangi, East Java. This place is one of two places in the world where you can find natural blue fire and a fuck ton of sulfur. The crater lake is so toxic that it appears an opaque blue and not clear. Someone once fell into the lake and disintegrated.

Favorite celebrity: Probably Trevor Noah (I don't know if he counts as a celebrity). He's the host of the Daily Show and I love this show's comedic take on political commentaries. Trevor himself is a comedian who often comments on the faults and toxicity of the society in the modern world and I love how he takes no bullshit when discussing these topics. Check him out, guys. This guy's awesome.

Favorite animal: The grey wolf. It's the biggest species of wolves and they are awesome. Native to Eurasia (Russian, Ukraine, etc.) and North America. These animals are powerful hunters. They're real cool. I want to tame one and just have it as a pet, but it won't survive in the hot climate of my country. Plus, it's illegal, so...

Favorite song: I'll mention a different one than the last one. Keep The Faith by Moon Boots.

Favorite book: Oh God, you expect me to choose from all my darling babies? (quoting Roman Sanders). I'm going to mention more than one, because how am I supposed to choose?

I love Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo. It's about a group of young gangsters doing an impossible heist. Best of all, there is a gay couple!

The Shadowhunter series by Cassandra Clare is awesome. It also has lots of gay couples, both males and females. Plus, it explores the concept of self-discovery and dealing with differences in society. It's an awesome series.

Three Dark Crowns trilogy by Kendare Blake is so. fucking. awesome. It's about a set of triplets that fought each other (and they have to kill their sisters) to become the queen of the land. It's one of the best fantasy series I've ever read next to the other two I mentioned.

Miss Peregrine's House for Peculiar Children series by Ransom Riggs is so cool. Most people think it's overrated, but guys... read all four books and you'll know what I mean when I say it's great.

House of Furies trilogy by Madeline Roux is so good, oh goodness. I'm still waiting for the third book to come out and the wait is killing me. It's about a girl who found she was not entirely human. She was then discovered by a woman (who is s prophet-type person) and a man (I won't spoil you about what he is, but he's not human.) It's an awesome read.
