10 things I used to believe when I was little
Should have known I was going to be nominated to do this sooner or later xD Thanks a lot Writer-brooke! I shall unearth all the embarrassing stuff that I hoped to carry to the grave in this chapter.
1- I used to think tweety bird was a girl and blue in blue's clues was a boy but imagine my disbelief when I found out that its the opposite.
2- I cried when actors or cartoon characters died because I thought they actually died. In short, I believed all those tv shows and cartoons were happening in real life.
3- I thought babies were born because you either take 'special' medicines for it or buy them in a shop.
4- I thought every family at least had to have a brother and sister and then they would have to get married and have kids to continue the name and its the same for cousins. If a family had more than 2 kids then the odd one out would just have to forever be single. I thought that was the only way. I was dreading the day I would have to marry my older cousin brother.
5- I thought that when I eat the seeds in a watermelon or orange, trees would sprout out of my stomach.
6-Nobody ever got around to telling me that your baby teeth get loose and fall out, so when my first one started to wobble, I thought my teeth were all going to rot and fall out and that was that. I was in a panic and kept it quiet for a few days until I broke down and told my mom.
7: When I was in kindergarten, I thought that milk (or other liquids I guess) would just keep going upwards in the air after filling a glass over the top. So I tried it once. (spoiler: it didn't work)
8: I thought skyscrapers were people who scrap bits and pieces off the sky and that the candy floss (cotton candy if you guys don't know) that we eat are actually clouds from the scrapped up sky and died with colours such as pink and blue to make them pretty.
9: I believed that at night, the moon was stalking me and at first I was scared of it but then I thought it was lonely and would have a conversation with the moon and trying to guess what the moon would say to me back, only to continue the conversation again. To this day, still the best 'conversation' ever xD
10: I used to think duct tape was duck tape, as in a real duck. Like an actual duck that sticks onto things. Imagine my disappointment when I realised I won't see a duck.
I am going to nominate these people xD Advance apologies!
