So, since the Silver Lining DLC came out the other day, I think this is a perfect time to talk about what I personally would like to see in a sequel to Insomniac's Spider-Man.

Warning: I will be going into deep spoiler territory here. If you haven't played the game, seen the ending or the DLCs, I recommend you leave now. This is your only warning.

Now, that's out of the way. Let's begin.

First of all, let's start with story.

During the second post credit scene, we see Norman seeing his son Harry in a container and Harry is covered in this strange substance, which is most likely a symbiote.

Having Harry as Venom will be an interesting story as Peter will have to fight his best friend. Not only will this affect Peter, I'm really interested in seeing how it'll affect Norman and possibly having him descend into madness and become the Green Goblin, as he already has hand grenades and a helmet. So, I'm assuming the Green Goblin will look like his Sam Raimi movie look, with the whole armour suit.

Let's move on to characters.
I'll talk about what characters I'd like to see make an appearance and about the characters already existing in this universe.

I really would love to see Gwen Stacey make an appearance in the game as it has been confirmed that she exists in this universe, thanks to the prequel book, Hostile Takeover. As Gwen is mentioned and nothing is said about her being dead in this universe. And personally it would be cool seeing Gwen become Spider-Gwen but I doubt that would happen.

And if Gwen exists in this universe, so should her father, police captain George Stacey. It'll be interesting to see George and Spidey team up since Yuri Watanabe isn't police captain anymore.

Speaking of Yuri, in the Silver Lining DLC, Yuri is killing Maggia and Hammerhead's men due to her grudge towards them and that the police isn't doing enough to dispense justice. Maybe we'll see Yuri become her Vigilante alter ego, Wraith.

This'll really test Peter's relationship with Yuri as he'll have to stop her from committing more murders and try to bring her back to her senses.

For Miles, I'd like to see his training with Peter and hopefully see him get his suit, so we can get to play as Miles a lot then we did since he only had stealth sections in the story.

Lastly, let's talk about what Villains I'd like to see.

Now, we know that Venom is most likely going to be in the game, I'd really would like if Sandman, Mysterio and The Lizard were in the sequel game as they are only referenced. Along with those guys, I'd also like if Hydroman, The Beetle, Kraven the Hunter and Morbius the living vampire make an appearance.

Honestly it'd be so cool having to fight Sandman or Hydroman since with the tech we have today, we could have a giant boss fight against them. If Kraven was going to appear, I'd believe he would put up challenges up around the city to test Spidey's skill, just like what Taskmaster did except, Kraven would want to test Spidey just so he can be a worthy opponent for Kraven. I also think Morbius is a good choice since Dr. Morgan Michael is responsible for Morbius and connected to him.

It'll also give Morbius some recognition as he's kind of a lesser known Spider-Man Villain. And since Screwball, a villain I never knew existed until I played the game was in it, then why shouldn't Morbius?
