"Because I love you and it's hard for me to see you with someone else!"

Yoongi's unexpected words rang in my ears as I was completely lost in my thoughts. I was staring at his teary eyes but I was looking further beyond, into his soul. We were standing in an enemy territory with the risk of being murdered lingering on our trail but that didn't stop me from feeling butterflies in my stomach. I could finally understand my true feelings regarding Yoongi. I was deeply in love with him and I was ecstatic that he reciprocated my emotions.

"Well well well" my thoughts were interrupted by a voice booming in the huge room. I glanced at Yoongi, he held horror in his eyes as he stared at the front. I followed his gaze and my eyes widened.

There, by the door stood the man I grew up to abominate. The short figure of Daniel entered the room. His eyes displayed pride while his lips were curved into an vicious smile. From behind him came two guards, each of them pointing a gun at each of us. They gestured us to drop our weapons and so we did, hesitantly.

"Seems like betraying is your forte, Min Yoongi" Daniel said melodramatically to which, Yoongi did nothing but lower his head.

"And who is your friend?" He then exclaimed, turning towards me. I responded with a death glare but that seemed to amuse him even more as he turned his lips up into a sick smirk. He then came closer and placed his hand on my cheek, lifting my face to meet his gaze. I however smacked his hands away in disgust.

"Your eyes" he once again spoke up "I can never forget those blue orbs. They remind of an old friend. He was such a nice buddy until he betrayed me and I had to eliminate him" my blood started boiling as I understood his intentions. He was referring to none other than my father.

"Nice to finally meet you Jacklene" I was surprised to see that he knew my name but I didn't show it on my face. I stole a quick glance at Yoongi who was looking at us with an extremely confused countenance.

"It was very nice of you to visit your old uncle dear. I say, why don't we join hands? You help me bring down your camp and I help you rule the world with me" Daniel continued speaking garbage.

"How dare you think about destroying my camp!?" I scoffed at him. "I'll never assist you in your evil plans."

"I can give you all the riches you ever wanted, dear" he said with a soft voice.

"You are a maniac" I was just a few steps away from pulling his throat out. The thought of every misery my mother went through all these years flashed in front of my eyes and rage started filling up my veins.

"Huh, I didn't anticipate you to be just as stupid as your father. But now you tell me, what I shall do to you for intruding in my house and killing my guards?" he started pacing around the room while rubbing his chin but suddenly halted his motion as he faced me with an evil grin.

"I just have the perfect job for you my dear" saying so, he pulled my right hand up and placed a revolver in my palm, curling my fingers around it.

I looked up at him with confused eyes but the next words that left his throat shook me to the core.
