"I'll love you when no one will" I tried to comfort Yoongi and assured him that I'll always be a friend to him. I'd be there when he would need me. I would love him like I love my other friends. The hate I felt for him was long gone, maybe because now I knew the reason of his abomination. It was the fact that I kind of stole his father away from him. I mean, I would react the same way if someone tried to steal my mother from me.

"Jackie I-" Yoongi tried to say something but was interrupted by a voice that was calling my name from far behind him.

I looked past him and saw Taehyung's cheerful self approaching us. I wanted to be mad at him for not showing up earlier but my affection for him didn't allow me to do so. My lips formed into a wide smile as I started walking towards him. I felt Yoongi trying to grab my hand and pull me back but I gently slid my hand from his as I walked away. My first priority here was love, friendships could wait.

I limped towards Taehyung as he came running towards me. He had a wide smile plastered on his face. Was he so much happy to see me?

As soon as he reached me, he took both my hands in his soft warm palms as he moved his long thumbs over my fingers.
I looked up at him with a raised eyebrow. He never treated me like this before, he never held me so much close.

Suddenly he bent down on his right knee in front of me and my eyes widened at his actions. What was he doing? He took his hand behind him and took out a red rose from nowhere and held it up towards me.

"Jackie, I love you. Will you be my girlfriend?"

I was enveloped by a strange vibe as soon as I heard those words escaping Taehyung's lips.

Was it for real? Was my long time crush really saying that he loved me?

Taehyung stood back up on his feet as I glared at him with a dumbstruck facade. He let out a soft chuckle at my reaction. He then gently cupped my face and caressed my cheeks with his thumb.

"Jackie, I want you to be my girlfriend. Do you want me to be your boyfriend?" he asked once again.

"Jinjja (really) ?" I asked.

"Yes pabo" he giggled cutely.

"Yes! yes! yes! Saranghae" I exclaimed as I started jumping on my feet but immediately regretted my irrational decision as a sharp pain generated in my thigh. I stumbled back a bit as I lost my balance but Taehyung caught me right on time. I looked up at his face and although I was in pain, I couldn't stop smiling.

"You just hurt yourself, didn't you pabo?" he asked with a smirk on his face.

"What can I do? You made me so very excited!" I replied, still giggling like a maniac.

"Well then, let me pay for my crime" he said while holding on to the same sly smirk. Then suddenly he lifted me up bridal style and started walking towards the canteen.

"Hey, put me down! I am too heavy" I scoffed out of embarrassment. I didn't want him to suffer from arthritis because of my weight.

"What? No. Who told you that?" he asked disbelievingly.

"Umm.....someone......no one...... nevermind."

Jackie couldn't stop smiling as Taehyung kneeled down to propose her to be his girlfriend. It was evident in their eyes that both of them were madly in love with each other.

They conversed for a few and then all of a sudden, Taehyung lifted her up in his arms. I could hear her complain to Taehyung about her heavy weight. She wasn't actually that heavy, I told her that to tease her.

"What? No. Who told you that?" Taehyung asked as he carried her.

"Umm..... someone......no one....... nevermind" for once I thought she would take my name but she just ignored me and effortlessly denied our interactions.

I felt a sharp pang in my heart as I saw the newly formed couple.

Was it jealousy that I was feeling?
