I was watching a movie with my brother but we had no snacks so I went to make popcorn. But we didn't have the microwavable popcorn, we just had a jar of kernels that u had to make in a pan. Which is no big deal cuz I've made it before and I know how to make popcorn I'm not stupid (or so I thought). So wtv I put the oil and the kernels and covered the pan and stuff. And then while I was putting the popcorn into the bowl my sister (yes I'm blaming this incident on my sister) decides that this is a good time to put her iPad directly in front of my face so I can't see what I'm doing. So I put the bowl and the pan down and then another kernel popped so popcorn flew everywhere. And I was all mad at her and I was yelling at her so ig I wasn't paying much attention to what I was doing while I was pouring the rest of the popcorn into the bowl. And then when I picked up the bowl to bring it to my brother's room, I realized that thE BOTTOM OF THE BOWL HAD MELTED OFF. yeah.... I put a plastic bowl on a hot burner.... *facepalm*

And then I was freaking out so I googled how to clean it and I had to turn the burner on low and scrape off the plastic. It worked but then the house smelled like burnt plastic which is not good for you so I had to turn on the fan and open the windows. Everything's fine now but I can't believe how incredibly stupid I am. Its ok I'm blaming all of this on my little sister.
