Chapter Eighty Six
"C'mere, baby," Josh said, turning in his spinning chair so he was facing Tyler.
"I need to keep working."
"No you don't. Come sit in my lap and talk to me," Josh said.
"I'm just gonna work," Tyler said. "I didn't get any done yesterday so I need to today."
"Baby, you've been working all day today," Josh replied. "You're good. I promise."
Tyler shrugged and put his headphones back on, going back to sending emails and writing everything to now, his employees since he was online manager.
Josh sighed, but he knew making Tyler stop working was only going to upset him. So he sat and waited for Tyler to finish.
And hour and a half later, he was still working, so Josh got up and went to bed. He expected Tyler to follow him in a few minutes, but at midnight, he got up and checked on him.
He was still working away at his computer.
"Babe? Baby, it's midnight," he said.
"Huh? O-oh. O-ok," Tyler said, nodding his head before turning back around and putting his headphones on, continuing to work.
Josh sighed and went back to the bedroom. Still, an hour later, Tyler didn't come.
So he went to the store and bought a bouquet of roses, coming back and setting it on Tyler's side of the bed. He hid a bit, wanting to see Tyler's reaction to the flowers and the note he had left.
Eventually, at three in the morning, Tyler got up and went to the bedroom, seeing the flowers and smiling shyly at first, but his smile soon dropped after he read the note.
'To the hardest-working boy I know,
I love you, Tyler.
Xoxo,
Josh'
He shrugged and set the flowers on his dresser, crawling into bed and turning on his side and falling asleep.
Josh furrowed his eyebrows, entering the room from watching and kissing his forehead. "Ty," he said softly. "Tyler, baby, wake up."
"Huh?" He asked sleepily, his eyes half open.
"I love you," Josh said, kissing his lips.
"I love you too," Tyler replied, kissing him back before lying back down.
But Josh crawled on top of him, straddling him and taking both of his hands. He then moved downward and started kissing Tyler's belly, knowing that always made him feel better.
"Is baby Dun doing ok?" He asked with a soft smile. "I know yesterday was prolly a lot for her."
Tyler shrugged, not really wanting to talk, especially about something silly.
"I think she's alright," Josh said. "I feel her kickin' around in there. She's sayin' 'get me out so I can have snuggles with my daddies. That's the whole reason I came here.'"
Tyler didn't say anything, just lying there quietly.
Josh pressed his ear to his husband's belly. "She's talkin' now, TyTy. I can hear her. She's sayin' she wants to see who she looks like. Even though she looks like you. I already know it. She sounds too cute not to look like you."
Obviously Tyler wasn't pregnant, but still, it typically made him happy when he got to at least talk about the baby in his belly as a joke.
"She looks like you," Tyler mumbled.
"Huh?" Josh asked with a grin, having heard what Tyler said but knowing making him say it again would make him smile.
"She looks like you," he repeated, smiling a tiny bit.
Josh kissed his lips, running his fingers through his hair. "We should prolly get some sleep, don't you think? She said we're being too loud. I heard her."
"O-ok," Tyler giggled, nodding his head.
"But I think it'd be ok if we had a lil love making time," Josh grinned. "Just for a little while."
"It's three in the morning, Joshua," Tyler giggled softly, kissing his forehead. "Go to bed."
"But I'm in bed. With you," Josh smirked, starting to kiss at Tyler's neck.
Tyler giggled shyly, blushing deeply as his husband kissed his lips.
"Stahhhhhhp," Tyler said, trying to move his head around so Josh would stop kissing him.
"I just want some love from my husband," Josh pouted.
"I'll give you snuggles but I'm too tired to make out," Tyler reasoned.
"Let's make another baby," Josh said, pulling his husband closer and wrapping his arm around him.
"Nooo, Joshie. Not tonight."
"Pleeeeease?"
"No, handsome."
"Let me make love to you," Josh mumbled into his ear, his hand sliding down his body.
"You know I can't say no when you call it making love," Tyler pouted.
"I know," Josh smirked, crawling on top of him. "So can I make love to you?"
Tyler nodded, making Josh's smile widen.
They did their fun little thing, Tyler immediately falling asleep afterwards.
"G'night, baby. I love you," Josh said, kissing behind his ear before wrapping an arm around him, drifting to sleep.
