Everything feels cold, dark, empty, hollow-

"I'm not one to complain, but can't Appa fly any higher?" It's the first voice I hear, with an almost whiny pitch as I come to my senses. Before I could think much of it, another voice comes about.

"I have an idea. Why don't we all get on your back and you could fly us to the North Pole!" The other voice, more accusatory and surely younger retorts.

"I'd love to. Climb on, everyone Sokka is ready for take off!" The other voice, the first one I heard, sarcastically remarks.

Am I hallucinating?

"Look we're all just a little tired and cranky because we've been flying for two days straight. I'm just worried about her, I wonder when she'll wake up." I heard a gentle voice, melodic and caring.

By the sound of it I could assume the speaker was a girl, maybe a bit younger than me? I'm not sure.

"And for what?! We can't even find the northern water tribe. We need to find a village that's closest to us so we could get her proper attention!!" The first boy, Sokka urged.

Northern Water Tribe?!

Slowly, my eyelids lift with the premise of opening my eyes to see the the group of people I've somehow dropped my guard around. And Instantly I'm groaning at the feeling of bright lights shining down upon me, the suns roaring glow doing little to help me in such a fragile state.

"Oh no! Sokka hand me the cloth, the light is bothering her!" The girl, my supposed caretaker ordered someone else around. I could hear the frantic sounds of another person rushing over and handing her the bag, and I can't help but sigh at the cooling sensation  of a thin fabric being placed over my eyes.

"She's finally waking up!" The girl whispered, sounding almost excited.

How odd.

"Really?! Good job Katara I knew you could heal her!" Another voice cheered, a young boy perhaps. Certainly younger than me.

"I didn't do much, I don't really know how to heal with my water yet remember?" She sounds sheepish, I could imagine bowing her head humbly at the praise.

Healing with water?? Is this girl like me?

I've always been a curious person, a bit too curious. That's what got me in trouble in the first place, and although my memories are hazy and my head is pounding, I could feel my wretched curiosity gnawing at me once more.

There's a strong breeze in the air, a prevalent wind current that causes goosebumps to arise on my skin. I shiver, my jaw clenching in discomfort.

Why the hell is it so cold?!

I push through the discomfort that I feel, the frigidness interlocking the muscles all over my body, the sore feeling of my abdomen as I push myself off the ground, and the gigantic throbbing sensation right in the center or my forehead.

God, what the hell happened to me?!

With a small cringe, I force my eyes open and feel my jaw drop at the sight I'm faced with.

There's three of them. Two clear water tribe members, and a boy with a blue arrow running down the center of his head. They're all huddled up together right across from me, blinking at me with wide and hesitant eyes.

If I didn't know any better, I'd stay there's a blush on the tanned boys face.

There's a small winged lemur sitting on the bald boys shoulder, leading me to look around and face my surroundings. There, I find that I'm not on land at all. There's water surrounding us, giant shards of ice spearing through the cold ocean, and-

And we're flying?!

Now on high alert, I immediately stand up and back away from the group; my guard fully up as I send them all an icy glare. I ignore the massive headache and clear my throat, feeling both weary and absolutely exhausted.

"Who the hell are you?!"

Oh, what a way to meet the avatar.

Hello my lovely readers! I'm here with a new series, this time based on Avatar since I've recently re-fallen in love with the series lmfao.

This series will be following the canon events of avatar, with subtle changes due to the addition of my oc, much like my Naruto fics!!

Please note that I will be cross posting this fic on Ao3 when I get the chance, I'll post the link when I get to it!
