Recap: A kiss in dream

Nanima wake up Gauri who was dreaming about her kiss with Om in her study room. Her cheeks were flushed and she went to her room without uttering a word. As soon as she closed the door her phone rang. It was a video call from Om. Without thinking anything she picked his phone and sat on the bed.

Om: hii

As soon as she saw him their kiss started playing in her mind and her cheeks turned pink. She was not meeting her gaze with him all the time blushing hard. And Om being Om immediately understood that something must have happened with her. Previously she only blushed when he was with her but right now the way she is blushing,,, he couldn't find the reason of her blush. He was not there and he just called her now then what is there to blush so hard? Was it because of Arnav?

Om: Gauri...

She didn't said anything, just hummed all the time looking everywhere except him.

Om: Gauri, yaha dekho...(He said it in ordering tone)

Slowly she looked at him and her cheek turned red from pink. As soon as she looked in his eyes he understood that it was not because of Arnav but because of him. But how can a simple call make her blush so hard?

Om(mischiveous voice): why are you blushing Gauri??

She looked at him like a deer caught in light and then tried to be normal using her businesswoman skills.

Gauri: aisi koi baat nahi hai...aur kya kaha tumne blush? main kaha blush kar rahi hoon?

He lied on the bed on her stomach all the time looking in her eyes which made her heart flutter with joy.

Om: tumhe pata hai na tum mujse juth nahi bol sakti...tumhare gaal laal the abhi, aur I'm sure ki tum blush kar rahi thi...dekho sach sach batao kya baat hai varna main phone rakh raha hoon...

Gauri silently prayed to god for changing the topic. On the one hand she wanted to talk to him and on the other hand haw can she tell him that she was daydreaming about him, that too kissing her. She again tried to stop that thought to cease herself from blushing again.

Gauri(trying to change the topic): tumhe nind nhi aa rahi hai?

Om: pehle tum mujhe batao tum blush kyun kar rahi thi?

Gauri: pehle tum batao tum kal aa rahe ho na? hame mandir bhi jana hai panditji se milne....

Om: nice try to change the topic,, to tum mujhe nahi bataogi ki...

But before he could complete she looked at him with pleading eyes asking him to change the topic...

Gauri(with pleading eyes): Om please...

Finding that she was not comfortable he decided to not to tease her anymore. If there is something she wanted to share then she'll tell him.

Om: acha baba, chalo kuch aur baat karte hai...(and the smile appeared on her face made him smile too) han to kya keh rahi thi tum...kal mandir jana hai na?

Gauri: hmm...vo panditji ne bulaya hai kuch kaam hai...

Om: acha thik hai hum chalange, vaise bhi kal se office nahi jana hai...

They continued their talk for sometime and then went to sleep after saying good night to each other. The next day Gauri and Om with Rudra's parents and Arnav went to temple to meet Panditji. Om has not expected Arnav with them but as usual he was there and didn't leave Gauri for even a second, which made Om annoyed as hell. After completing all the work at temple Rudra's parents went to home while Gauri wanted to buy something so she stayed with Om. At that instance Om expected Arnav to go back with his parents so that he can spend some time with Gauri. But Arnav was as stubborn as him, he also stayed back with Gauri and didn't gave any chance to Om for spending time with Gauri. Finally Om dropped Gauri and Arnav at Sharma Mansion and went to his home. The whole day he didn't get a single moment with Gauri alone. By now Om was hell angry on Arnav, because somewhere he felt that Arnav was doing it all intentionally. 

That night he and Gauri didn't talked as both were tired. Tomorrow there were haldi, mehndi and sangeet with only close relatives and the day after tomorrow - the wedding. The next day early morning Om went to Sharma Mansion with Tej and Janvi. Janvi and Tej were with Bhavya's parents while Om went to Rudra's room. Rudra was getting ready along with Arnav. As soon as Om found Arnav in the room his anger come back but he decided to keep calm because he didn't wanted to create a scene on that special day. 

Om(to Rudra): so dulheraja,, are you ready? 

He said it in a mischievous voice to which Rudra only smiled. Somewhere Om felt that smile doesn't reach his eyes. But before his mind could conclude the reason Arnav pulled Om with him in one corner so that Rudra couldn't listen to them.

Om(angry): what the hell are you doing?

Arnav: what the hell are you doing man?

Om(irritated): what did I do?

Arnav: don't you see that he is already upset because he is missing Saumya and you are making him more upset.

Then he realised that he has committed a big blunder after asking that question.

Om(in mind): ye bandar jitna pagal lagta hai utna hai nahi...baat to ye sahi keh raha hai...(to Arnav) actually, I didn't realized...I just asked out of the blue...koi baat nahi, main usse baat karta hoon.

Arnav(stopping him): Don't. He'll be fine once he go to downstairs. It's just that he is remembering his marriage days. but don't make him more upset by talking about his past.

Om(in mind): firse ye sahi hai, mujhe Rudra se Saumya se related koi baat nahi karni chahiye. (to Arnav) acha thik hai, ab chalo.

They again came to room by then Rudra was ready for the ceremony and they went downstairs. Once downstairs, Om's eyes were searching his lady love. Yes Gauri was no where to be seen but Bhavya was already there sitting in the middle of hall, while Rudra was outside in the lawn. He looked at Arnav who was busy with Rudra. He thought that Gauri must be in her room and he went to her room. He was right, she was sitting in front of dressing table and was wearing her earrings. He stood there observing her while she was well aware of his presence. She stood up and turned to him, and the second he saw her in that white dress, which was simple yet looking elegant on her, his heart skipped a beat. While she felt the same when she found him wearing white Kurta - pajama. For a whole minute they both were lost in each other's eyes. Om came near Gauri and caressed his cheek while her heart flutter with joy at mere touch of his. But their moment spoiled before it started by a voice who was calling Gauri.

"GORI"- The voice was coming closer and Om cursed that person under his breath which didn't go unnoticed by Gauri and she chuckled. Om moved away from her.

Arnav(entering into the room): guys, what are you doing here? the function is going to start...let's go...

Om: vo mujhe Gauri se kuch important baat karni hai, tum jao, we are coming...

Gauri: important baat? kya baat hai Om?

Arnav: ha, what important baat?

Om sighed at his question and decided to tell him also. He told about Rudra's bad mood to Gauri and asked her to do something.

Gauri: acha mere pass ek plan hai...

Arnav&Om: kya?(they both looked at each other)

Gauri discussed her plan with them and they both agreed to her. They went downstairs and soon the function started. One after one everyone applied haldi to Bhavya and Rudra. Rudra was in the garden while Bhavya was in the hall. After function completed everyone shifted to the garden to enjoy. Gauri looked at Rudra who was talking to Bhavya who was seating with him, but still not looking happy. She gestured Om and Arnav to execute their plan. 

Immediately she went to Rudra and Bhavya and sat beside Rudra and started talking with them. After a minute (as per their plan) Om and Arnav came from behind and applied some turmeric on her both cheeks. Rudra and Bhavya looked at Gauri while Gauri looked at Om and Arnav with fake anger. She became more angry while Rudra and Bhavya became worried after seeing her angry face. But the next second she also took some turmeric paste and ran to both Om and Arnav. At the very same moment Rudra and Bhavya let out a laugh. Gauri applied the paste on both Arnav as well as Om's face in such a way that it made them look like something terrible. Rudra laughed wholeheartedly after looking at them playing haldi-holi. Soon the trio arrived to them and his expression changed. He ran for his dear life after remembering that what they can do to him if they succeed in catching him. After 2 minutes of running finally they caught him and painted him with haldi.

Rudra(trying to escape from their hold)(laughing continuously): okay guys...ab chod do mujhe,, ab isse jyada kitni haldi lagaoge? 

After making sure that their purpose is achieved they left him controlling their breath dure to running. 

Rudra: ab meri haldi holi to ho gayi...now it's Bhavya's turn...

Bhavya who was all the time hiding behind her mother tried to run from there but Rudra was fast enough to catch her. He securely held her and applied the paste on her cheeks and then on her arms all the time looking in each others eyes. Om and Gauri looked at each other and smiled looking that Rudra is finally happy. They didn't wanted to disturb them so they left the couple alone. Gauri excused herself to wash haldi from her body while Arnav and Om also went to their rooms. 

But as soon as Gauri entered in her room someone came from behind and pulled her towards him closing the door. Gauri relaxed after realizing that it's Om. He slowly pulled her more into him while she gasped. 

Om(whispering in her ears): you are looking beautiful.

Her cheeks flushed and turned red. They stood there for sometime, in that position, no one uttered anything, both were just feeling each others warmth. His hands were resting on her waist while she was holding him. After sometime they slowly left each other. As soon as she came out of his hold she ran into the washroom while he smiled to himself. 

It was night and mehandi function was completed already while the sangeet was still going on. Right now Om was standing in one corner and watching the most unwanted sight infront of him. Gauri was dancing with Arnav on a slow romantic music. But what made him angry was Arnav's one hand on Guari's bare waist and another one on her bare back. After their small encounter in morning they were busy with their work so didn't get time to even talk each other. Both were just stealing glances during whole mehndi function. Right now Gauri's whole attention was on Om. She wanted to dance with him but before he or she could ask each other Arnav asked her for a dance and she couldn't deny him. She was looking at Om's change in expression which were showing anger. She didn't knew the reason of his anger but decided to ask him afterwards. But after sometime she found him going out of the venue angrily. She immediately left the dance floor and went behind him.

Finally completed this. Don't know whether it's upto the mark or not but too tired to write a better part,,maybe next time. And it's possible only because of you.
