Years have passed on Eltaria, and the humans are finally starting to retreat in the war with the Crorqreiks. The Crorqreiks have managed to expand their land to the abandoned house that lived deep in the forest. A fortress is what has been built within the land for the Crorqreiks King.

At the time, when she had a pack of people that sticked together when the Crorqreiks first started to take the people, she learned of the creature, Black Death, a creature within in the forest, a creature that is looking like a mix between a sabertooth tiger and a panther. They use their heightened sense of smell to detect a slight change within the grounds of the forest, they stalk within the night within silence. Once they have located their prey within the forest, they will use the heat radiance to stalk and capture their prey.

The little girl, Elana, grown, had to move and now is on the run from the Crorqreiks as they took that little cottage from her. The forests that are around, being destroyed by the Crorqreiks for more space to expand their lands, have disturbed the other creatures and Elana from continuing to hide in silence from the creatures of the wilderness.

As she moves within the forest, at night, to a place of shelter, there is a creature luring in the shadows, watching her very movement. She all of sudden hears the snap of a branch behind her as the creature gets close then she hears the low rumbling growl of the black death as it gets closer to her. The girl, knowing that she is on the brink of death, starts to run.

As she runs, the trees start to blur, as she hears the heavy paws of the catzell not too far from her. Suddenly, she stumbles over roots and picks herself back up fast so as not to get eaten by the creature, jumping over fallen trees in the dark. The moon gives off little light to her as she runs. Not too far up ahead, she sees the walls of the palace the Crorqreiks have built, not too far from her. She moves swiftly, climbing up the wall of the palace. As she gets over the wall, she loses balance, she plummets onto the rough ground, getting covered in dirt in the process, and scratching her knees. As the girl looks around, slowly getting up from where she landed, she dusts herself off.

Elana, all of sudden gets dragged into a dark alleyway. She sees a tall burly man that is very close to her age, looking as if he has seen more things that meets the eye.

She learned sign language when she was younger... in the training and being in the pack as they taught things from the past and what to expect when they lose the knowledge of the spoken English language. The strange man suddenly starts to speak in English, but to her, it sounds like gibberish. The man notices the slight confusion on her face and is quick to start doing sign language.

The man then signs, "My name is Sam. What is your name?"

She is sloppy at creating the signs for the words she wants to say, "My name is Elana. Why and how are you people still alive here?"

Sam smiles down at her..."We are a group of resistance from the Crorqreiks."

With the ability sign, the leader of the group's resistance is showing kindness to persuade her to join their group against the Crorqreiks. She's skeptical, but asks questions, signing how they are fighting or resisting the Crorqreiks as she believes that they are just surviving and hiding from the enormous creatures that can slaughter a whole town of humans.

The next day, they are talking, and Elana is slowly learning the English language all over again at a very quick rate. She's able to communicate with Sam and his followers on how she was able to survive since she was young. They are all fascinated by the way she was able to survive for so long in the forest.

Later on that day, Sam had some of his members go and get food for the group. Suddenly, one of his members slams open the door of the secret headquarters, and says, "He's dead... The Crorqreiks are coming... they know they are here... in the city." Elana looked shocked, staring at Sam at what they should do next. Sam scrambles to tell everyone that they should prepare for a fight against the Crorqreieks...
