Hours had passed, I was still alone in the dark room that held me as a prisoner of the decepticons. Slowly I was losing consciousness due to the injury Starscream had inflicted on my shoulder. Both energon and blood were lost and who knows how long it'll take before I bleed to death. As of this moment, I am riding down that path. I was brought back into a state of shock when I heard a decepticon enter the room. I didn't look up as I was petrified to see who stood before me. My curiosity was answered as the unknown decepticon began to walk towards me with very distinct footsteps. The heavy, metal footsteps that have haunted me since I was twelve years old.
"Sophia, look up when your lord and master enters the room." The chilling voice of Megatron demanded. Slowly, I lifted my head up in pain to see the decepticon warlord stand before me. My heart was pounding irregularly, harder than ever before, but I still withheld a deadly stare. "Good, you are already starting to obey my commands." Megatron looked pleased but his expression feel when I scuffed. "I am not your slave." I growled with a dry throat.
"Oh Sophia but you are. If it weren't for me, you would have never possessed the power that you have now." Megatron gleamed trying to make his way under my skin. "If it weren't for you, I would have been a normal human." I responded under my breath.
Megatron lowly chuckled as he seemed delighted to see my pain and suffering. "Yes indeed, but you have the opportunity to join the decepticons. A wise choice over your autobot friends." My heart dropped thinking about the autobots whom I now consider family. I wanted to scream for help, but with the decepticon leader standing in front of me in all of his glory...there isn't much I could do. "I'll never betray them. Do what you want to me." I proclaimed trying to remain strong in the situation I was in, even though I was terrified out of my mind.
Megatron edged his way closer to me, his bright red optics shining their light onto my body. Chills were sent down my spine as he had a small menacing grin on his face. "Unless you don't want to face the consequences, I would suggest that you obey my commands." The silver mech threatened as he slightly sliced my cheek with his talon, leaving a thin scratch on my face. "Kill me. I'd rather die then contribute to the decepticon cause." I retorted to Megatron as his stare burned into mine. Lifting his finger up to my eyes, he examined the blood that he retrieved from my cheek. He then grinned, "Killing you is the easiest option. We have work to do..."
"What do you mean?" I asked the warlord out of curiosity and fear. Megatron continued to examine the bodily fluid that rested on the tip of his silver digit, "Sophia, your ability is powerful beyond measure and I'd like to use it. Whether you like it or not." That's when I began struggling against my chains desperately. "Your desperation will not get you anywhere..." Megatron placed his finger close to my face. "It seems that you contain energon within your blood. I'll see to it that the doctor replenishes your energon levels so you do not lose consciousness. We cannot afford that now can we?" They way he teased me sparked energy within my body, but I was too weak to use anything against him or break myself free. I remember Ratchet and what he had said when I was being checked for an irregular heartbeat. He had specifically stated that my heart could sustain energon if I did not receive any additional amounts of the blue substance. Sweat appeared on my forehead, knowing that my heart could easily give out if I received more energon.
The warlord headed over to a set of panels, before turning on a screen that revealed a single optic cybertronian. "Shockwave..." Megatron called the decepticon. "Yes Lord Megatron?" Shockwave obediently answered. "Report to the main cell and bring a sufficient amount of energon for the techno organic." Megatron demanded the one I assumed to be the doctor. With that, Megatron ended the communication and began to return to his previous spot, right in front of me.
"Tell me Sophia...how is my good friend Optimus Prime?" The silver decepticon was now beginning to play mind games. I didn't respond as I didn't want to show any emotion that I had for the autobot leader. I couldn't show it to Megatron, it would only give him the most sinister of plans. He chuckled out of frustration as I ignored him and didn't respond, "Start talking girl. Don't waste my time. I ask a question, I expect a response."
"He's fine. " I bluntly and shortly responded with no emotion. "Is that so..." Megatron taunted me, "I'm surprised he is still functioning sufficiently even after I had managed to kill him." In utter shock my eyes became wide, but the warlord didn't notice as he began circling where I hung. "You're bluffing." I retorted against his claim, Optimus had never died and I knew that Megatron wasn't as strong as the Prime. "Sophia you've got it all wrong. Why don't you ask Optimus yourself? It seems you can since you are fairly close to him." He menacingly smirked at his last sentence, showing me that he knew that Optimus cared for me. But how did he know...I'm guessing they were spying on us when we left base. The night I killed Uncle Jesse...I came to the realization. The decepticons had been the unanimous callers that Galloway was talking about. This had been all apart of their plan...to separate me from the autobots and kidnap me. That's why they had reported the murder...to put me in jail so they could take me away. My blood boiled at the thought of their intentions.
"You seem to find it hard to believe the facts. Optimus couldn't save himself...he needed a human to do it for him." Megatron taunted the Prime's strength. I was in utter and complete shock that it WAS possible to kill a prime, but what was on my mind was that Megatron had set the whole thing up. From me fleeting the scene of Jesse's murder to my arrest. "You seem to be troubled..." Megatron grinned. "You set me up!" I screamed at the decepticon warlord. He then began to chuckle, "That is now behind us."
"No!" I yelled causing Megatron's expression to become displeased and impatient with my behavior. "How did you know where I was with Optimus the night I killed my uncle?"
"It was simple...Laserbeak kept an eye on you for a lengthy amount of time." Megatron growled with impatience. "Exactly how lengthy?" I asked with hesitation. Megatron leaned his head close enough where I couldn't even see the rest of the surroundings around me. "Long enough to know that you murdered another human. It was a simple mistake you made that allowed us to break the protection you received."
My blood boiled...they fed off of the biggest mistake I made. It was a deliberate plan that broke the protection N.E.S.T had given me. It was to call Galloway and report the murder then have me taken away. It was to find me vulnerable and alone. It was for this moment. A moment where I hung weakly in front of the world's biggest threat.
I growled after Megatron had finished the fruition of his plan, but the anger that rose within me began to drain whatever energy I had left. I was becoming faint and losing distinct sight of the room. Megatron seemed to take note. "We are not finished girl...you are to stay conscious." Megatron threatened.
Moments later, a decepticon with one optic entered the room with what seemed to be a syringe in his hand. "Don't touch me you freak!" I yelled at the cycloptic decepticon. "Your desperation is illogical." Shockwave stated before grabbing a hold of my body and piercing the syringe in the space between my shoulder and neck. I screamed in pain as the needle pierced my skin. I could feel it digging it's way deeper into my body. Energon was realesed into my bloodstream and I could already feel the burning sensation as a result.
"Leave her be." Megatron spoke, "We will return for more later." The two decepticons walked out of the room and left me alone, fighting against the little sensation of pain in my body. Overcoming the pain I felt, my heart began to beat at a speed I couldn't fathom. It was only then that I began to scream as loudly as possible as an unbearable pain began to burn the inside of my body. Crying and screaming simultaneously, the pain only made me want to kill myself right then and there. My hands held the chain around my wrist as tightly as physically possible, tuning my knuckles white.
The pain had rendered me unfit to do anything else but scream at the top of my lungs. But I had managed to find a sliver of power within me. That was when I focused my attention on the chains that bound me in one place. Suddenly my body was falling as it hit the ground and the wind was knocked out of my lungs. The sounds of chains were heard from hitting the metallic floor. Bleeding and breathing heavily, I soon realized that I was no longer chained, but now free as I laid helplessly on the cell floor.
Persevering through the tortuous pain, I removed the cuffs from around my wrist and stood. Cautiously, I made my way into the hallway of what I assumed was a ship. That's when I began running, turning ever corner I could to find a way to freedom. Deceptions roamed the ship freely and my small human size permitted me to stay low. But I was wrong in my advantage when I heard a deception approaching...none other than the seeker Starscream. His holoform appeared beside me quickly taking action and punching me in the gut. I feel to the floor clutching the source of the pain. "What a shame it is to see such a powerful being be rendered helpless." The seeker mocked before picking me up by the collar of my clothing and physically dragging me where I once was held captive moments ago. His holoform disappeared as Starscream dropped me on the floor before his cybertronian form entered the room.
"I cannot wait for the day I have the order to kill you." Starscream chuckled then kicked me with his pede causing me to fly back into the wall behind me.
My body collapsed to the ground, I panted trying to catch my breath. Stars danced before my eyes and I attempted to stand, only to fall and cough up blood and energon. The decepticon chuckled and his talons pierced the sides of my body as he picked me up and walked over to the intercom. "Lord Megatron, our prisoner attempted to escape." Starscream reported with an all too amusing tone. "Take her to Shockwave. He will know what to do." Megatron responded before cutting the line. My breathing was hitched, and a wheezing sound would escape my lungs every time I inhaled. On the brink of giving up, Starscream held me tightly in his grasp.
We arrived where Shockwave was located and as I took in the surroundings, there were large medical tables and substances around the room. Large sharp tools laid next to each table. What seems to be a medical place, I was positive that it was the exact opposite. Shockwave stood in front of large tubes that held bizarre organisms, something I didn't recognize. "Place her on the med table and secure her." The scientist ordered the seeker. "Will do." Starscream responded with a menacing smirk while holding my gaze.
I tried to struggle against his grasp but he had slammed me hard enough to the med table that my vision went black for a solid few seconds. Moments later, chains, buckles, and cuffs all held me down. "You're gonna regret this you fuckers." I threatened as I tried to break loose.
"Don't assume Sophia." Starscream mocked, "I don't think you are in the greatest position to be talking." I flipped off the seeker with the little wrist movement I had. "Go to hell Starscream." His expression turned from one of amusement to pure hatred in a matter of seconds. His servo swiftly turned into a blaster and pointed it in my direction. "You!!!"
"Starscream!" Shockwave interrupted. "I need the subject alive. Please leave to ensure that my work is diligent." Starscream scoffed and exited the room.
I was with the one decepticon that could figure out my genetic makeup. I couldn't win any fight I fought against an alien being. There was no hope and I knew it. The scientist approached my body with a small sharp tool and leaned close enough to examine me. I struggled against my bondages, still feeling the effects of energon within my system. Tears welled up in my eyes with fear.
I need someone, anyone to take me away.
"Your struggles will only make the process more painful." Shockwave noted and came closer with the tool in his servo. I was breathing heavily and I began to scream in desperation. That was when I felt the skin on my arm be cut and I screamed even louder. Crying in agony, Shockwave had cut the surface of my forearm's skin, leaving blood to pump and drop onto the medical table. I was afraid to look down at what the scientist had done but I couldn't take it. My eyes fell upon a large patch of skinless muscle. "I need more tissue sample in order to have more accurate samples of your genetic makeup." He told me with no emotion.
"Please no!" I screamed as my voice cracked. The scientist proceeded to cut my skin for sometime and extracted blood from my veins with his syringes. I didn't want to feel anymore. I stopped myself from screaming and let myself go.
