Jade: *Sobs as she watches Cookie leave.* don't feel bad. That guinea pig was mean to you.
Mom and Dad: *Walk into room and see the empty guinea pig cage.*
Mom: "Where is Cookie?"
Jade: *Sniffles.* "She ran away!"
Mom: *Frowns.* "We'll have to get a new guinea pig then. Sorry baby."
Dad: "Tell you what, after dinner we'll get you a new piggie."
*The family eats dinner and drives to Feeders Supply. They get out of the car.*
Jade: *Looks at the store and sighs.* "The new piggie won't be as good as Cookie...."
Mom: *Sighs.* "No piggie will be as good as Cookie was. But we could sure try."
*The family walks into Feeders Supply.*
Mom: "Could we see the guinea pigs?"
Register Girl: *Nods And gets key, walking toward the glass box. She unlocks it and sets it in the floor.*
*There were several baby guinea pigs in there of all shapes and sizes.*
Jade: *Frowns And looks at all them. She couldn't decide which she wanted.*
Mom: *Points at one that looks similar to Cookie.* "How about you get that one! It looks kind of like Cookie! You could name her Cookie Junior!"
Jade: *Shakes her head and looks at a black and brown guinea pig with crazy long hair with a Mohawk that runs down her back. She knew instantly that this was the perfect piggie.* "I want that one." *Points at the brindle colored guinea pig.*
Mom and Register Girl: *Nods.*
Register Girl: *Grabs the brindle colored guinea pig and puts it into the cardboard carrier.*
Mom, Dad, Jade, And Register Girl: *Walks to the counter.*
Register Girl: *Gets the total and charges the money.*
Mom: *Gives money to Register Girl.*
Register Girl: *Takes money and puts it in the register.* "Have a nice night."
*The family walks to the car and dives home. They arrive and get out of the car.*
Mom: *Unlocks door.*
Titan: *Runs out and sniffs carrier.*
Jade: *Protects guinea pig and walks in. She puts the guinea pig in the cage.* "Look at you new guinea, you got the cage all to yourself."
New Guinea Pig: *Explores cage, squeaking.*
Jade: "I think I'll call you Brindle." *Pets the guinea pig and leaves the room.*
Brindle: *Watches her leave and looks around the cage.* "A space of my own...."
