Pregnancy

"See today as the beginning of the future, not the tail end of the past"

The world is a place for all humans to live, no matter what they look like or where they come from. A world where we can cherish what we have in a good way. A world to give off happiness, laughter and a little more warmth to others who need it. A short female remember what her mother said to her when she was little and one day she hopes to give that to her children.

A small female is awoke by a urgency of throwing up. She runs to the bathroom and throws up in the toilet.

"Ugh" She groans. This has been going on for now 6 days and they all happen in the morning. She gets up carefully and is greeted by her fiancè who is now worry for her.

"Aph, you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine just dizzy"

"Good, well I have to go to work, I'll see you later" He kissed her forehead and walked out to his car and drove to work.

"Ugh" She groans again but this time plotting herself on the bed groaning again.

"Why can't you admit you're pregnant" The voice in her head to told her.

"Well, I don't wanna get worked up for nothing and found out I'm not"

"Well, you have the symptoms, that's something"

"Which would be?" She asked.

"Fatigue, slight cramping in the stomach, nausea with and without vomiting or morning sickness, craving, headaches, mood swings, dizziness, missed period and just feeling pregnant"

"That's a lot of symptoms"

"Yes, it is but it's the symptoms to know you're pregnant and you've had all of those"

"My gosh, I could be pregnant"

"You could but in order for that to be true, you need a pregnancy test"

"Don't you have one in case you got pregnant?" The voice asked

"Yes, I do"

"Then go take it"

"Fine"

The small female ticks away the time to see if she's pregnant. She keeps ticking away until it reaches 5 minutes. She walks to the bathroom and see the small pregnancy test on the sink waiting for her to see. The short female then walks slowly to the test and sees two lines fading in. A warm tear falls down the female's cheek, she couldn't believe she was pregnant.

"Look who's pregnant" The voice in her head tells her.

"Oh shut up"

"Now, how are you going to tell your fiancè?"

"I honestly don't know"

"Well, you could be a good fiancè and tell him I'm pregnant"

"Yeah, but isn't that simple?" She questioned.

"Yes, it is but sometimes most people do that because they don't have time to do surprises"

"But I do"

"Yeah, like an hour"

"But I can do it" The small female finishes and goes to the extra room they have tracing for a box, wrapping paper, a bow and a card.

"There it is" She said as she found her supplies for the surprise. She then takes her stuff to the bedroom and starts wrapping and making sure everything is in place. When she finishes, she hears the main door open and close with a loud bang. It startles the small 'pregnant' female but then she puts it under the bed without thinking and runs downstairs to see the same male that she saw this morning in anger. She then walks to the male and hugs him from behind and tries to calm the male who isn't in a good mood.

"Did something happen?" She asked in a soft tone.

"Yeah"

"Like what?"

"Ugh, my dad"

"Him again?" She said as she rolled her eyes, this wasn't the first time he complained about him.

"Yeah"

"What did he do now?"

"He wants me to take his stupid company because since boys are supposes to take companies, he wants me to take it"

"That seem like a lot of work"

"It is a lot of work"

"Well, I have a surprise for you but in order for you to get it, you need to be in a better mood"

"A surprise for me?" He asked.

"Yep! But you gotta be in a better mood"

"Okay fine, I will be in a better mood"

"You promise?"

"I promise" He finished and the small female smiled.

"Aaron?" The small female said as she's holding the present behind her.

"Yeah?"

"Here" She gave the male the present. She sat down and watched the male read the card that was attached to the present.

"To my daddy" It said on the card. The male continued on and started ripping the paper and the female started tearing up.

"Babe, why are you crying?" He asked.

"No reason" She said with a smile. The male then open the box and there lied the small pregnancy test that had two lines on it. The male started tearing up and the female started tearing up more.

"So, I'm going to be a father?" He asked and the female shock her head. The male then kissed the female on the lips passionately.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

"Ugh" The small female groans.

"Babe, what are you groaning about now?" The male asked the small female who now 25 weeks into her pregnancy.

"The waiting I have to do before I get to see our baby"

"We're almost there, don't worry"

"Fine" She said as she rolled her eyes and laid further into her chair.

"Mr and Mrs Lycan?" A young doctor called for the two who have been waiting for awhile.

"Finally!" The pregnant female yelled and walked with the nurse to a small room with two chairs for the visitors to seat in and the big seat for the person who was being check to sit on.

"Mrs Lycan?" The young doctor called.

"Yes?"

"Please seat here so we can get started" The small female carefully got up and laid on the big seat.

"Hello, my name is Layla and I will be checking up on your baby"

"Okay"

"So I'm gonna give you simple questions on the baby and you and see how you're doing"

"Seem easy enough"

"It is easy"

"Okay, how long have you been pregnant?" She asked.

"25 weeks"

Do you know you're gender of the baby?"

"No"

"Okay, has anything been bothering you since you were pregnant?"

"Not really"

"Last question, has the baby been kicking or been doing anything that you can feel?"

"Yes"

"Alright, we should be able to see some of the baby and see somewhat the gender is since you don't know your gender for it"

"The gel might seem close but it gets better when I start moving around"

"Okay" The small female response with as the doctor puts the gel on her stomach and gets the stick and start moving it around. She looks on the monitor then back at the stick to see where she is.

"There's the baby" She said to the couple who has been waiting for a long time. The small female starts tearing up to finally see her baby and where it is.

"Alright little guy, are you a boy or a girl?" She questioned. She keeps looking and eventually sees what the gender is.

"Do you want me to tell what the gender is?" She asked.

"Yes, we want to know"

"You are having a baby girl" She smiles as the couple smiles too to see their daughter squirming around knowing in a few months, it will finally be theirs.

"Look at her" The small female is in awe with her new daughter.

"Isn't she beautiful?" She asked.

"Yes, she is just like her mother"

"Aww"

"I can't believe she's our daughter"

"I know, after all these years, I got with someone who I will always love and she gives me someone else who I will love too, no matter what"

"Aww" She said. The baby then starts crying and wailing around in her crib.

"Shh, mommy's got you" The young female starts moving around with her daughter in her arms to calm her down. The baby then stops and the female walks back to the crib and puts her down. She then goes back to her fiancè and sits down in the rocking chair.

"She's a handful"

"Yeah, but she's ours"

"Hey babe?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you" He said with a smile

"I love you too" She said too with smile

"I love you and our daughter and I vow to protect my family forever"

"Promise?"

"I promise, always"
