A Walk In The Park

"Be who you want to be, not who others choose to see"

Aphmau

"Hey babe" I hear from above me.

"Mhm, go away" I turn away with my eyes adjusting to the morning light.

"C'mon babe, you gotta wake up"

"But I don't want to"

"But you got to at some point"

"Mhm.."

"Guess we gotta do this the hard way"

"Wait w-!" I didn't even finish when I felt Aaron pick me up from the bed.

"Put me down!" I crossed my arms across my chest and Aaron rolled his eyes.

"No Missy, you're getting up" He walks out of the bedroom and down the stairs.

"Ugh" I didn't even want to complain despite that it was only the morning. Aaron then puts me down. I can tell we're in the kitchen since I could smell the sweet sense of something but I can't put my finger on it. I walk more to see what Aaron was making for us and once I saw what he was making, my face lit up.

"I made pancakes for us" My face lit up more. I hug Aaron and thank him for the pancakes. We ate and sat on the couch, cuddling. We sat there for a good 30 minutes just watching without talking until Aaron brought my attention to something else.

"Hey babe?"

"Yeah?" I look up to see Aaron's eyes staring back at me.

(That doesn't sound creepy at all)

"You wanna go to the park today?" I thought about and it wouldn't hard to go out for once.

"Sure!" We got up and walked to the bedroom to change. We got changed and grabbed what we needed and left. We decided to walk since it wasn't that far. We held hands along the way as we got there.

Third Person

Aphmau and Aaron both arrived at the park. The park was filled with people talking, eating, playing and walking.

"So what do you wanna do first?"

"Anything you wanna do, babe"

"Okay then" Aphmau looks around and leads Aaron further into the park.

"This was fun! Thanks for taking me out Aaron"

"You're welcome babe" They walk to a near by tree and sit down next to it. They listen to the talking around them, how everyone is enjoying their time with one another. How the trees glisten against the wind that blows lightly and the people walking one by one as friends or even as a couple.

"Hey Aaron?"

"Yeah?"

"What do you think when you're just enjoying your time?" She asks calmly.

"Mhm, I think of you because I love you more than anything" He smiles.

"Aww, you really mean it?"

"If I hadn't asked you to be my girlfriend then no" He smiles.

"Hey, maybe we should get going, it's getting late"

"Aww, and I was just getting to the good part" He smirks.

"Wait wh-" Aaron kisses her lightly. He feels pressure when she kisses back. He pulls back and smiles.

"You always make me smile" They got up and started walking the way they came with their hands held together. On the way back, Aaron ran into someone he thought he wouldn't see again.

Jenny, Cathy and Betty.

(I'm talking about Jenny not all three of them)

Aaron gripped Aphmau's hand tightly and Aphmau noticed something wasn't right with Aaron.

"Aaron? Is something wrong?" She says as she walks past Jenny, Cathy and Betty.

"I know that voice"

"Well, if it isn't Aaron Lycan" Jenny says getting Aaron's attention.

"Jennifer" He puts Aphmau behind him.

"What do you want?" He growls.

"You know exactly what I want, Aaron" She smirks.

"If you're talking about me then no" Jenny notices Aphmau hiding behind him.

"Don't think I can't see Aaron" She says.

"Wha-" Jenny snatches Aphmau's hand pulling her away from Aaron.

"Hey!" He growls again.

"What is she doing here?" She looks at him with evil eyes.

"None of your business, now let her go"

"Pfft, you really think I'm gonna let her-"

"Jenny, let her go" Betty says.

"Pfft, I'm only letting her go because I don't wanna get in trouble" She rolls her eyes and lets go of her, dropping her on the ground.

"Aph! Are you okay?" Aaron runs over to her side and helps her up.

"Yeah, I'm fine"

"Haha, that's what they all say when there not" Jenny says.

"Jenny, I think you need to-"

"Stop? Haha! I mean look at her, she's still the same annoying, bitchy, crybaby everyone made fun of in college" Aphmau turns away with tears in her eyes.

"Oh look, she's gonna cry! See what I'm talking about, I mean look at her" Aaron growls at her and Cathy and Betty look at her like she's crazy.

"Jenny, what happened to you?" Cathy says.

"What happened to me? I tell you what happened to me. It's all because of her"

"What?" They say in unison.

"You heard me, it's all because of her. She stole my boyfriend"

"I was never your boyfriend, Jen-"

"I never stole your boyfriend, Jenny" Aphmau says with tears in her eyes.

"Look who's talking" She snaps at her.

"I can't believe someone like him would fall in love with you. I mean he could have dated someone else like me but no, he went to you" Aphmau starts tearing up more.

"Why would someone like him date you?" Aphmau ignores her with tears rolling down her face.

"It's rude to not answer someone you know" She grabs Aphmau's arm and squeezes it.

"Ouch!"

"Look at her, she's crying! She can't even handle the simplest of things people tell her" She drops her to the ground.

"C'mon on guys, let's go-" Aphmau pushes Jenny making her fall to the ground.

"Agh!" Aphmau runs away with tears running down faster and faster.

"Aphmau!"

"Ugh, I can't believe her" She mumbles.

"Ugh, I'm leaving-" Before she got up, she got pushed to the ground again but this time but Cathy and Betty.

"Jenny, we're done with your attitude toward people who don't deserve it! Especially Aphmau!" They yell.

"Come home when you think about a little more!" Betty and Cathy walk away leaving her on the ground. Aaron starts walking away from her too.

"Aaron, you wouldn't leave me right?"

"For your information, I'm done with you and I don't wanna see you again" He says harshly. Jenny has tears in her eyes.

"W-Well, can you at least help me up?"

"I will never help you, not after what you did" He growls at her and runs after Aphmau.

"Aphmau?" He calls. No response. He wonders deeper and deeper into the forest finding a light at the end. He walks towards the light to see a place some people have only seen once.

A small bridge over a large pond leading into another forest. On the bridge was Aphmau staring into the settling night sky. Aaron walks quietly over to her and wraps his arms around her waist.

"Aphmau, are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine" He lets go of her and she turns around with tears in her eyes. Aaron takes a closer look at her eyes and can tell she's lying.

"Aph, don't lie to me. Tell me what's wrong"

"Aaron, you shouldn't be asking. You should know what's wrong" She turns away again crying.

"Aph, please don't listen to her. You know I love you right?" She shakes her head. He goes in front of her and cups her cheeks.

"Don't ever forget that, I love you for you"

"Thank you Aaron" She says wiping her tears. He kisses her and she kisses back. They break the kiss and Aaron wraps his arms around her waist pulling her close.

"I love you baby~"
