Best Of Wives, Best Of Women

A warm breeze comes upon a street with people inside there houses and as a male werewolf is working in his office late at night trying to complete his work before it gets any later then it should be. The only thing you can hear from him is the sound of the keyboard typing in every word his fingers lands on. This male is stressed out from his business that he was handed down from his father, Derek Lycan who retired from the business and now is the hands of him. The only thing he gets is emails passed through a computer, business meeting on the company and looking at a screen for a long period of time. The time ticks every seconds that go through within the minutes and the only thing you hear in the house is nothing.

The male werewolf is working as hard as he can to get done but with the amount of emails and papers he has, it might take awhile. He eventually hears soft but not to soft footprint coming closer to the door and then a knock. With a "come in" the door softly opens revealing a short female with messy raven hair, warm caramel eyes and a warm smile that brightens up anybody day, including the meanest of people in our world.

"Are you almost done?" She said with a soft tone voice.

"I'm getting there babe but I will be soon" He said and looks back at the computer looking where he left off tpying. The short female smiles and goes by him to see what he is doing but the only thing she can see is the amount of typing and words he can type in. She looks closely but gives up and just looks at him to see how tired he is from working and the hussle and bussle of work that they provide in a company he has.

"You seem tired" She said trying to get his attention.

"I am tired and it's so stressful to own a company that doesn't know what the hell they are doing" He said. She chuckles at the last part but just hugs him from behind. He smiles and finishes up the last part of the sentence he's working on. He gets up and has he's eye on the female who is falling asleep but is trying to stay awake. He then looks at the clock that reads 𝟏𝟏:𝟑𝟎 and then back on her. He chuckles and picks up the short female and carries her to the bed and lays her down on the bed.

He kisses her forehead and goes to the dreeser and picks out the best he can find to call "sleepwear" and goes to the bathroom and closes the door. The short female opens her eyes and thinks about how much he works for him and her but it's crazy to think how he can handle a whole business without help. She just wants him to be happy and healthly like her and not have to worry about so much like the whole business and her. This remindes her of a song where the husband worked late too trying to provide for his family but all the wife wants is for him to relax with her. He's messed a few times in his life but makes up for them knowing that something can't be fixed in a way we want it to be fixed. He eventually entered a duel against an enemy abd wrote letter to his wife saying goodbye to her and their 7 children they had over 20 years. In a letter he hopes his wife could forgive him for what he did to her and their children. It's a true story that happened 215 years ago to a couple named named the 'Hamiltons' and yes, she forgave him for what he did because she loved him and he loved her, that's actual love. She throught until the door open and saw the male look at her and she looked at him they both smiled and got in bed as the night became darker and quieter.

The male wraps his arms around the female's waist and the female cuddles into his chest. He smiles at how beautiful she is and how lucky he is to get her and for him, it's the love of his life in his arms he has to protect from danger that harms her in anyway. The only thing he wants is the to relax with her like nights he was with her but in the daytime without work ruining it. He wants her to be happy like everyday where her warm smiles brighten up anything that darkness has to bring on people. He smiles in his thoughts and then a soft snore comes from the female knowing that she is asleep where she is suppose to be. He eventually falls asleep too with her close to him.

• ʜɪs ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ •

"Welcome again" A voice in the background said
"What's happening?" He said
"A lot of things silly" The voice laughs at the end of the sentence
"Why am I here?" He asked
"Your here for a reason" It said
"What reason?" He asked suspicious
"A reason that you have to find out on your own" The voice said as it's voice disappeared leaving the male curious. He adventures out trying to find the voice but couldn't and then a small flask back from the past appears with had a woman with raven hair, brown eyes and a blue nightgown dress behind a man who is writing a something but doesn't want the female to see. Then a little song comes on that both are singing in and as the male leans in closer he started to hear what they are saying.

"Alexander, come back to sleep
I have an early meeting out of town
It's still dark outside
I know, I just need to write something down
Why do you write like you're running out of time? (Shh)
Come back to bed, that would be enough
I'll be back before you know I'm gone
Come back to sleep
This meeting's at dawn
Well, I'm going back to sleep
Hey,
Best of wives and best of women"

It stops and the woman goes back to bed with a smile but without any details does she knows that will be the last time she will see her husband in a safe condition. The flaskback stops and then the voice appears saying
"Do you get it know?" As the voice say that the male shakes his head and the voice is pleased to see the point of what it's trying to say.

• ᴇɴᴅ ᴏғ ʜɪs ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ •

The male wakes up the see the same setting as before, it's dark but with the female with him in his arms. He wonders if that dream was trying to tell him sometimes or was it just an imagination trying to get somewhere but it didn't matter to him right now know it's late but all he cares is that she's asleep. Speaking of sleep, she's sleepping and in the same position as she was in as she fell alseep. He smiles and kisses her forehead softly and as he does and small smile appears in her face knowing that she got it. Before he falls asleep the last thing he say is.

"Adieu, Best of wives, Best of women, my love" then darkness that creeps in knowing he is asleep with the love of his life with him safe and in peace.
