Shelley brings the strange girl inside and sets her down beside the fire, to hopefully warm her up from the freezing cold outside, she uses a large towel to get the pale snow out of her hair and to dry her from the melting slush that coated her entire body, after a few minutes, the small girl begins to awaken, she opens her eyes to reveal a brilliant green, she's taken aback by the cute expression she wears on her face, Shelley asks for the girls name, she replies simply with "My name's Aaliyah." After a few more minutes in front of her fire, Shelley asks "how did you manage to get to my house in all that snow?" To which Aaliyah explains, "I was with my friends skiing, and when we were taking off our gear to go home, I fell down a big slope and hit my head, I woke up near your house and stumbled into your door then fainted" she began to shut her eyes and lay down on Shelley's lap, the cute expression  still on her face as she dosed off, the two of them slept like that as the last of the embers faded to ash.
