(Hey guys author-chan here! Did you guys like my cliffhanger? I didn't plan on updating today cause of homework and stuff. But my friends threatened me XD haha. Also I was trying to find a fricken picture to show what Arata was wearing. I like anime so I tried anime prince but that didn't help me much. The pic at the top was the best I could find. Sakura's P.O.V

After exploring I figured I should go find my friends.

I saw Tadashi she was flirting with some guy. Aalia was at the chocolate fountain, and Emiko oh gawd Emiko. She had a mountain of food.

"Sometimes I think she likes food more than men haha"

Suddenly doors opened and everyone went silent.

Emiko's P.O.V

I was enjoying the food. Man Arata has some good chef's. As I sat there with my mountain of food I heard everyone go silent.

I peek around my food and see ARATA!!!!

"Oh my gawd!" He was so beautiful (haha I'm so funny)

I left my food and ran to my friends.

"Wow that's him?" I say turning red.

Aalia looks at me with a crazy face. "You is a nasty!"

Everyone started to bow has he walked by. We never really went to parties like this so all of us just awkwardly bowed.

He looked at us and waved. I suddenly turn red.

"No not right now, I can't be a tomato!!" I think hoping my face goes back to its normal tan.

He starts walking this way and my heart beats a thousand times faster. And it kept going faster as he walked closer.

Suddenly a group of people surround him and start asking him so many questions.

I sigh really loudly as my heart returned to its normal pace.

Suddenly Tadashi grabs my shoulders "get a hold of yourself woman. You were like a tomato!"

"I know I know. But I cant help it!"

Arata's P.O.V

When I arrive at the ballroom doors the guards open the doors.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and bowed. I always felt awkward when people did that. I immediately spot Aalia, Tadashi and Sakura. I saw someone hiding behind them. I'm guessing that is Emiko.

I walk into the ballroom greeting people as I walk to those four.

Suddenly people surround me. They were those snooty women. I'm not trying to be mean but their voices just piss me off.

"Oh my Arata you sure have grown" said one of them.

"Oh my, you must absolutely meet my daughter. I'm sure you two will hit it off" said another.

I had no idea what to say.

"Ladies leave the poor kid alone" my uncle says stepping in. He distracts them and I leave mouthing the words "Thank you"

I look back and see the four girls laughing and talking. I start walking towards them.

Aalia's P.O.V

I saw Arata coming this way and I elbowed Emiko in the side.

"Ouch! what was that for"

I shift my eyes showing her that he was headed this way.

"Oh shiz" she says trying to remain calm.

"Hey guys!" Arata says really loud.

He gives each of us a hug. But when he sees Emiko he freezes and so does she. Sakura grabbed Emiko's hand and put it out for Arata to shake it.

But what he did next shocked me.

HE FRICKEN KISSED HER HAND! she turned bright red. But he still remained confident.

"It's a pleasure to meet you my lady" he says letting go of her hand.

The three of us just stand there shocked. Oh my gawd!

We hear laughing and turn to see Arata's friends laughing at him.

"I'll be right back" he says walking towards them. After he leaves Emiko covers her face with her hands.

"Are you alright?" Tadashi asks.

"I'm fine don't worry" she says taking a deep breath.

"I can't believe he did that" Sakura says putting her hands on her hips.

Arata's P.O.V

Wow I can't belive I just did that. But who cares. I was being a gentleman.

I hear laughing and turn to see my friends, Ken, (belive it or not ken is a japanese name too it means strong and healthy) Sora and Satoshi.

I tell the girls I'll be back and walk towards my friends.

I punch Ken in the shoulder.

"Ow what was that for"

"For laughing at me"

"We were only teasing" says Satoshi.

"I really like her and that was really brave what I just did"

"Well she likes you too bro" says Sora.

"Huh? How do you know?" I say listening carefully for what he says.

"I heard her and that girl with the wierd eyes talking about how she likes you" Sora says looking at me.

"Wow I can't belive it. Wait...girl with wierd eyes?" I say.

"Yeah the one with two colored eyes" he says looking at the girls.

"Oh you mean Aalia. It's just a birth defect" I say.

"Well I think her eyes are pretty" Ken says softly but no one noticed.

"Okay I got a plan bro" Satoshi says.
"We'll go and distract her friends and you ask her to dance"

"Sounds good" I say liking the idea.

The three of them walk away starting the plan.

Ken was going to ask Aalia to dance. Satoshi was going to ask Sakura and Sora was going to ask Tadashi.

Aalia's P.O.V.

The four of us were sitting at a table having a stupid conversation.

"Um dinosaurs knew english stupid!" Emiko says yelling at Tadashi.

"Nu-uh, english wasn't around back then dummy!" Tadashi yelled back.

They always had stupid arguments.

"Um yeah there was. English was the first language!" Emiko says.

"Oh yeah where is your proof smart one"

"Erm your mom!" Emiko says not knowing how to reply.

Sakura and I just sat there enjoying the show.

Suddenly (wow I use suddenly a lot)
Three guys came to us. One asked Sakura to dance. The other asked Tadashi and the last one asked me.

"Um sure" we all say.

Emiko's P.O.V

"Wow they left me" I say slouching in my chair.

Arata's P.O.V

Okay now is the perfect time.

I walk up to Emiko and hear her say
"Wow they left me" then she slouched in her chair.

I use all my courage and say "you're not alone. Care do dance my lady?" I say holding out my hand.

She looks at it then she grabs my hand and I lead her to the dance floor.

Emiko's P.O.V

Omg how am I not going to turn red from this.

I was about to be so embarrassed. I have never danced with a guy before. I only practiced by pretending someone was there.

Soon beautiful music starts to play.

Arata puts my hand on his shoulder and grabs my free hand, then he puts his other hand around my waist and pulls me towards him. We were so close! I tried so hard not to blush as we danced.

He noticed I was nervous and smiled.

"Don't worry. I don't bite" he whispered into my ear which caused me to blush.

Aalia's P.O.V

I feel bad about leaving Emiko behind, but it's not like I get to dance with a guy every day. If my dad was here he would of murdered the guy already.

"May I ask your name my lady"

"A-Aalia, and w-what is yours?" I say stuttering.

This causes him to laugh a little. "My name is Ken"

As soon as we get on the dance floor the music starts to play. I felt so embarrassed I looked down at my shoes. He lifted my chin with his hand.

"Don't be nervous" he says pulling me close to him.

"I'm not nervous" I say avoiding his gaze.

He puts his arm around his waist and grabs my other hand pulling me closer to him. We were so close our noses were almost touching.

"Oh gawd" I think trying not to step on his toes. I remember my dancing lessons and put my free hand on his shoulder.

I took this moment to examine his features. He had black spiked hair, white but almost tan skin, bluish grean eyes and he was taller than me. Probably 6"0.

I got completely lost in his eyes.

Third person P.O.V.

As Arata's friends dance with Emiko's friends, both of them were enjoying their time together. His friends were only supposed to distract the girls. But as Ken got to know Aalia he found himself falling for her.
