• March 24th | 7:20 a.m •
○ Yumi's P.O.V ○

I finished putting on my armor and walked down the stairs to meet the others. When I walked outside Aalia was the only one there. I walked up to her and we talked for a little bit.

"Are you excited to see your cousin?" She asked me with a sparkle in her eye.

"Of course! It's been so long since I've seen her! I can't wait to catch up with her. So many things must have happened since we last saw each other" I said as I looked up at the cloudy sky.

"Hey guys" Ryuuji said as him and Junior walked up to us.

I stood up and we all stood in a circle.

We just stood there staring at each other, until I broke the silence.

"I'm going to miss you guys" after I said that we all group hugged.

"It'll only be two weeks" Aalia said.

"That's still a long time" Junior laughed.

We separated and I gave everyone a hug, the first one was Aalia.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye for now" I hugged her.

"Don't worry, two weeks will fly by" She hugged me and then walked to Junior and hugged him.

When she was done I walked to Junior.

"Hey" he said.

"Hey" even though we we're a couple, I didn't really know how to show my feelings towards him. He probably thinks I only think of him as a friend.

"I'm going to miss you" he pulled me into a warm hug. I smiled and wrapped my arms around him.

"I'm going to miss you too" I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Alright let's go" I said as I grabbed his hand.

"Bye guys!" We waved at Aalia and Ryuuji and left. We were going the same way for about an hour.

~ 10 Minutes Later ~

I felt really nervous holding his hand. I've never had a boyfriend and the only time I ever held someone's hand was when my mom was Alive.

"You okay?" He looked at me.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine"

"Good"

Eventually it got really cold and he pulled me close to him. I felt awkward in the beginning, but it felt nice afterwards.

~ 50 Minutes Later ~

"Well, I'll see you soon" Junior pulled me into a tight hug and I hugged him back.

I waited for him to be completely out of sight before leaving. My destination is pretty far away, probably a two day journey if I'm lucky. I sighed and continued walking.

I'll be seeing nothing but trees for a while, but hopefully I will pass by a town or village along the way.

It's really lonely but peaceful here. I wish Aalia was with me to keep me company, or Junior.

I looked up at the sky. It was really cloudy, might even start raining soon. I like rain but I love sunny days the most.

I put my hoodie up and continued walking.

It's probably been 10 minutes and I already feel tired. I need some exercise. I stopped and took a sip of water from a bottle I brought with me and started slowly jogging.

This forest would be a great place to workout. There are a lot of big branches and rocks that I have to watch out for, so I could just jump over them.

It's kind of fun, I haven't done anything like this since I was a child.

Eventually I got tired and slowed down to a walk.

"That's enough exercise for one day" I took out my water bottle and basically gulped it all down. Good thing I brought more than one.

I looked at the pocket watch that Kenta gave me.

"Hmm 9:50. It's going to a long journey, but it'll be worth it to see Sachiko again."

As I walked I started remembering the good times we had together.

~ Flashback to when Yumi was 5 ~

Me and Sachi loved running and playing in the grass.

"You can't catch me!" She said while sticking out her tongue.

"Oh yeah, well take this! Uhn!" I said as I threw a rock at her.

"That's not nice!" She put her hands on her hips and yelled.

"Your face isn't nice!" I laughed after I said that and began to chase her.

"Hahahaha" we were both having so much fun.

Eventually she got tired and started to slow down. I took advantage of this and ran faster. I ran so fast that I slipped and pushed her and we both fell into the pond.

I moved my hair from my eyes and spat out the pond water.

"Ewwwww" I said in disgust.

"That's what you get!" Sachi laughed and splashed me and soon we had a splashing war.

"Alright girls enough playing around. Come inside before you get sick" Sachi's mom came outside with two towels.

The both of us climbed out of the pond and grabbed a towel.

~ The Next Day ~

"A-a-achooo!!" I sneezed and laid down on the bed. Sachi's mom put her hand on my forehead.

"Yup, sorry sweetie you're sick. Get some rest and I'll check up on you later" She kissed my forehead and left.

I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

When I woke up I had a wet cloth on my forehead and there was a knock at the door.

"C-come in" I said sickly.

When the door opened I saw Sachi with a tray. It had two cups of tea on it and two cakes.

I sat up and smiled at her. She came and sat next to me and placed the tray on the bed.

She smiled at me and then punched me in the shoulder.

"What was that for?!" I said as I rubbed my shoulder.

"That's for getting sick" She stuck her tongue out at me.

~ End of Flashback ~

Apparently I was so zoned out I didn't realize I was about to bump into a pole.

"Ouch!" I finally hit the pole with my face and damn it hurts.

I grabbed my nose and took a step a back. When my nose was done throbing I looked at the pole. It has a sign saying "30 minutes to the next town"

"Finally" I held my nose to stop the bleeding and continued walking to the next town.

~ 30 Minutes Later ~

My legs were hurting from walking for too long, I needed a rest. I saw a bench and instantly sat down.

"Ahhhh what a load off" after a couple of minutes I took out my pocket watch and my map.

It was 8:30 and I was half way there. Thank god!

I looked around and the city I was in, it looked kind of small. But it was full of happy people so I guess that's good.

It's almost nine, I better find a place to sleep. I got up and looked around for a hotel or a motel.

~ 15 Minutes ~

I'm obviously lost, this city is bigger than I thought. I need some help. I saw a friendly looking woman and walked up to her, but I was shy and that wasn't easy.

"Um e-excuse me?" I tried not to stutter.

"How may I help you?" She gave me a warm smile.

"Is there a hotel or something like that where I can stay for the night?"

"Yes there is, just take a left at that corner and there will be a bit building there that says the Jasmine Inn"

"Thank you!" I waved goodbye to her and started walking.

I paid for one night, luckily Aalia gave me some money before we all left.

The lady at the desk gave me a key that had my room number on it. 378, oh god that's going to be a long walk.

After that torturous time of climbing stairs I finally made it to my room. As soon as I got in I immediately changed into my night clothes and climbed into bed. I hadn't eaten in a while so I grabbed my backpack and took out some food Kenta gave me.

It was now 9:50 and I was so tired. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light.

● 2pm ●

I woke up early so I could get to Sachi's faster. I was now on Satoro Street looking for her apartment.

When I reached the door I took a deep breath. My heart was beating so fast I thought it was going to burst.

I knocked on the door. No answer. I tired again, still no answer

I reached for the door handle, and surprisingly it was unlocked.

I walked in and saw the room was empty. I had a feeling something horrible was going to happen.

"Um Sachi?" after hearing nothing I quickly walked back to the door.

But as soon as I took a step, someone grabbed my arm and pushed me into a metal box.

"Heyy! Let me go! You don't know who you're messing with!" I screamed, trying to sound tough. But honestly, I was terrified.

I hit the box so hard my fists were hurting and my voice hurt from screaming too much. But no one could hear me.

I fell to the floor of the box and hugged my knees.

I whispered to myself "please Aalia, save me"
