○ Aalia's P.O.V ○

"My lady. It's time to wake up" I heard a soothing voice.

I opened my eyes to see a beautiful woman infront of me, she wore a maid outfit, so I assumed she was the maid. She had crystal blue eyes, black hair and porcelain skin. She smiled widely at me.

"I hope you are feeling better. I have taken the liberty of making your bath. I have also brought you a new pair of clothes. When you are finished, breakfast should be ready, so go to the dining hall and all your friends should be waiting there" she spoke gently and smiled.

"Thank you" I said softly.

She soon left and I hopped out of bed.

My legs were feeling a lot better and I could walk normal again.

I opened the bathroom door and some steam hit my face.

I saw a huge bath tub, like a jucuzzi
Heat waves rose from the water in clouds of mist and smoke, fogging up the bathroom window and mirror, also fogging up all my problems.

It had a beautiful lavender sent with red rose petals. There were also tiny rings of pink bubbles.

I took off my night gown and submerged into the warm water.

After twenty minutes I decided to get out. These past days I had felt overly stressed, but now, I actually felt relaxed.

I wrapped myself in a towel and walked into my room.

My bed was made and on the edge of it lay a beautiful white dress. I put it on and took a look at myself in the mirror.
The dress was pure white and reached the middle of my shins. It was short sleeved with lace covering it, from my waist to the end of the dress. Since I was inside I didn't bother to put on shoes. I tied my hair in a side fishtail braid and exited my room.

A butler opened the door to the dining room and I saw Ryuuji, Arata, Ken and Tadashi at a table piled with different foods, it was like a mini buffet.

I went up to the table and stood next to Ryuuji. I grabbed a plate and noticed he looked sad.

"Ryuuji? Are you okay? You seem sad?" I looked at him with a worried expression.

"I'm fine" he said coldly, not even bothering to look my direction.

"Why is he mad? What happened?" I thought to myself.

"Are you sure, cause' if you want to talk-"

"I said I'm fine" he interrupted me and went to the table.

This saddend me, and I sighed softly.

I grabbed some food and sat at the table.

I sat in the middle of Ryuuji and Ken, and Arata and Tadashi sat across from us.

•2 hours earlier•

○Ryuuji's P.O.V○

I woke up covered in snow, still in the tree. If I wasn't part dragon, I probably would've been dead by now.

I slightly blew fire on my hands to warm them up and I headed back to the mansion.

I need to stop liking Aalia, but how? Every time I look into her beautiful different colored eyes, I melt.

"Maybe I just need to ignore her and make less eye contact. Try and push her away" I made up my mind, I'll just try and push her away.

I grabbed a plate and started dishing. Aalia wasn't here yet, I didn't want to push her away, but I can't like someone who doesn't like me.

"Ryuuji? Are you okay? You seem sad?" I heard Aalia come up to me.

"I'm fine" I tried not to look at her.

"Are you sure, cause' if you want to talk-"

"I said I'm fine" I interrupted her and went to the table.

"What the hell was that?! I didn't mean to be so rude, it just, happened. I feel guilty now." I thought while sitting down.

I saw from the corner of my eye that Aalia was going to sit next to me, which was also right next to Ken. This made me mad, why next to him?

○Aalia's P.O.V○

I felt sad that Ryuuji was ignoring me. When I sat down Ken immediately spoke to me.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" He smiled widely.

"Yes I did. What about you?" I try to not show my sadness.

"Good" he said taking a bite of his omelette.

"So Aalia, what do you plan to do today?" Arata broke the awkward silence.

"Since you rescued us, I figured I should tell the police not to search anymore. I also want to visit my old house." I put down my fork and looked down slightly.

"I won't be able to go, I have a lot of paperwork" he said, eating a piece of fruit.

"It's okay, I can go by myself"

"That's dangerous, I'll go with you" Ken said to me.

"I'll go too" Ryuuji finally looked at me.

"Great!" I smiled at everyone.

A butler soon came and handed Tadashi a letter. She opened it and read it.

"What does it say?" I asked her.

"My nanny said that school will start soon and I have be back home before lunch" she sighed.

"You should go. Don't miss out on your education"

"Is that okay? Will you be fine without me?"

"Yes I will" I gave her a smile.

~After Tadashi left~

"I will be in my office if you need me" Arata said while walking down the hall.

"You ready?" Ken asked me.

"I just need to get my shoes." I ran to my room grabbed a pair of sandals that hooked around my ankles.

I ran back to Ryuuji and Ken, they were whispering and they looked quite mad at eachother.

When they saw me they stopped and smiled.

"Ready to go?" Ryuuji said while holding his arm out to me. I looped my arm through his and he practically dragged me to the carriage.

○Third Person P.O.V ○

Ken felt raged at what Ryuuji had just done.

"That bastard will never steal her from me" he thought.

Ryuuji helped Aalia into the carriage. As he was about to climb in, Ken pulled him back and got into the carriage first.

Ryuuji frowned and climbed in.

Ken sat next to Aalia and Ryuuji sat across them.

"Screw it! I like Aalia and I can't keep pushing her away. But that idiot Ken likes her too. I won't let her fall for him no matter what" Ryuuji thought while staring out the window.

~at the police station~

○ Ryuuji's P.O.V ○

We sat in the waiting room, waiting for somone to call us so Aalia could tell them to cancel the search party.

Aalia sat in the middle of me and Ken. She looked so pretty, her beautiful different colored eyes sparkled, and her brown - blue hair framed her perfect face.

"Man' I really do like her" I smiled to myself.

"Miss Takahiro" a woman called.

Aalia stood up "yes?"

"He will now see you" she said.

We all stood up and walked into an office.

A man with gray hair and dark blue eyes sat in a chair in the middle of the room.

"Have a seat" he said while pointing to three chairs.

○Aalia's P.O.V○

I sat down and watched the man infront of me.

"Miss Takahiro, it's good to see you are okay. We have canceled the search party"

"Thank you"

"Now, time for the imprtant stuff" he placed a big box on the table.

"What is this?" I asked.

"These are papers and some belongings that weren't burnt in the fire." He then handed me a blue box.

I opened it and saw two rings.

"What are those?" Ken asked.

"They are my parents wedding rings" I smiled at them.

"Thank you for everything" I said to the man.

"No problem. Take care dear"

I lifted up the box, it was heavy.

"Would you like some help?" Ryuuji slightly laughed at me struggling.

"Y-yes please"

○ Third Person P.O.V ○

The three of them climbed into the carriage. This time Ryuuji sat next to Aalia.

This ticked off Ken, but he tried to hide it.

"Where are we going next?" He asked.

"To....my house" Aalia said, her smile disappearing.

Ryuuji put an arm around her. She closed her eyes and leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Back off" Ken mouthed.

"Never" Ryuuji mouthed and smirked.

"We're here" Aalia was the first one to jump out, followed by Ryuuji then Ken.

The house had grass and plants covering it. It was also very moldy.

Aalia stopped walking when she reached what used to be the entrance.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Ken stood in front of her.

"Y-yes" she said unsure.

The three of them walked inside.

It was dark and blood stains were eveywhere.

All the memories of that day came back to Aalia. She wanted to cry, but held it in.

They passed by Aalia's dad's office. They walked in and saw remains of a desk with chains on them, and a burnt mark of a skeleton on the floor.

Aalia stopped and was in full shock, the horrible image of her father burning appeared in her head, she started breathing heavily.

"Aalia are you okay? What's wrong?" Ken and Ryuuji walked up to her.
She completely blocked them out.

She fell to her knees, tears rolling down her face.

Ryuuji kneeled down and hugged her.

She buried her face in his neck and started crying.

"We should get her out of here" Ken said.

"Yeah, good idea" Ryuuji picked her up and they headed back to the carriage.

Aalia rested her head on Ryuuji's lap and closed her eyes. She soon fell asleep.

He gently stroked her back, trying to calm her down.

One of the maids had packed a picnic so they stopped at a park and Aalia had woken up.

"Feeling better?" Ryuuji smiled at her.

"Yeah. I'm sorry for all that drama" she looked from Ryuuji to Ken.

"Don't worry about it. It must have been traumatizing" Ken said.

The butler placed down a blanket and set up the food. They all sat down and dug in.

Ken got an idea. Him and Ryuuji were currently competing against each other and trying to make one another jealous. And he knew the perfect way.

"Hey Aalia try this" Ken scooted next to her and placed a berry between her lips.

"Mmmm! That's delicious!" She gave him a closed eye smile.

Ken took this moment to stick his tongue out at Ryuuji. He looked like he would explode any moment.

"Ryuuji you try one" Aalia grabbed a berry and placed it in his palm. Looking at her erased his anger and he ate the berry.

"It is delicious!" He said in a humorous tone. This made Aalia giggle and she playfully punched his shoulder.

He looked at Ken and smirked. He knew that would tick him off.

~back at the mansion~

"I will bring this up to your room my lady" a butler said while carrying the box.

"Thank you guys for coming with me" Aalia hugged Ryuuji then Ken.

Ken hugged her longer than he was supposed to. He wrapped his arms around her waist. Ryuuji couldn't take it anymore and he lost control, he punched Ken.

Aalia gasped "Ryuuji!"

Ken attacked him. They were now fighting.

Ken ran to him and punched him in the stomach.

"Ooff" Ryuuji stumbled backwards. He regained balance and kicked Ken in the face.

"Stop it!!!" Aalia screamed and they stopped.

She showed them a disappointed frown.

"What is wrong with you two!!" She walked away, clenching her fists.

○Aalia's P.O.V ○

"What is wrong with them" I walked into my room and sat at the desk in the corner of my room.

I rested my head for 5 minutes then opened the box I got today.

It was mostly papers and files. I dumped them on my desk and started rummaging through them.
