○Aalia's P.O.V○

Alexander had told me everything. I was shocked and I fell to my knees.

"Th-that can't be true"

"Trust me, it is" he said smirking

"You piece of-" I was interrupted by the sound of an alarm.

"Eeeeooooeeeooooo!!!" It was loud and annoying, but it snapped me back to my senses.

"Oh right, the plan" I picked up the key and walked to Alexander and I kicked him between the legs.

"Arrrgg" he screamed.

I unlocked my door and ran to the tower with all the levers.

The tower was far away and I was getting tired, but I kept on running, we have to escape.

As I was running I noticed that the guards were gone. They must have gotten scared and ran away.

I had reached the tower. I opened the door, no one was there, good.

I pulled down all the levers and the sound of metal doors opening filled the prison. Every prisoner ran out and it soon looked like a stampede. I went to look for Ryuuji and Yumi. I couldn't find them at all. I ran outside with the other prisoners hoping I would find them outside.

Soon I felt a cool breeze hit me in the face and grass between my toes. Someone grabbed my arm and pulled me behind a tree.

"Eeeepp" I yelped.

"Don't worry its just me" Ryuuji said.

"Yay! You're here! Now let's get the hell out of here." Yumi said starting to run. Ryuuji and I followed after her her.

Suddenly I remembered something, the jewelry I had hidden when I arrived here. Those were given to me by my grandmother and my friends. I stopped and looked back at the prison.

"Aalia come on!" Yumi yelled at me.

"I left something important there. I can't leave without it. You guys leave, I'll be okay." I said looking at them with a serious expression.

"No! We will not leave you! We will wait here, just hurry!" Yumi screamed.

I ran back to the prison. The entire building was on fire. I didn't let that intimidate me, I just kept running, determined to get the jewelry.

I ran into the burning building, but soon stopped. The floor was full of flames and blood of the prisoners who got stuck behind.

I opened my wings and flew over the flames.

When I found a spot where the flames and blood weren't, I closed my wings and ran as fast as I could.

The smoke made it hard to breathe and my eyes started watering from the toxic fumes. I covered my mouth and nose with my hand and kept running.

Something bit my ankle and I fell down on my back.

"Ugh!" I looked at my leg and a boy with sharp fangs was biting my ankle, his eyes were glowing very dark red.

"Ahh!!" I kicked him in the face many times hoping he would let go of me. At the 7th kick I heard his jaw break and he let go. I got up and ran through the flames. My ankle was bleeding really badly and I couldn't run as fast anymore.

I found my cell and took out the brick.

"It's here!!" I grabbed the jewelry and left as quick as I could.

Parts of the ceiling were falling down, making it harder to escape. I dogged them, but more pieces fell down. I could see the exit and ran faster.

Something wrapped around my waist and threw me against the wall.

"Ooofff!" I fell to the foor.

A group of demon creatures were surrounding me. I heard an evil laugh and saw Alexander.

"Did you really think you could escape from me?" He smirked.

"How the hell are you still alive!" I yelled while getting up.

"Don't worry about that. Men attack!"
At his comand the creatures attacked me.

I was tired of all this and my eyes started glowing very bright as my wings came out of my back.

One of them threw spikes at me, but I used my wings as a shield and threw my crystals at him, piercing his stomach. He fell down but soon the others started attacking all together.

I tried my best to fight, but I couldn't keep up with them. I was still new to my powers. They clearly have been trained for years.

I was punched in the stomach. They all surrounded me. I tried to get up but one of them stepped on my back, keeping me pressed against the floor.

"Let me go you morons!!!" I screamed while biting one of them.

"Argh" he punched me in the face and the force sent me flying into the wall, breaking it. I tried to stand up, but I was stuck in the wall. Blood starting dripping out if my eyes and from the top of my head. My body felt weak and I layed there.

"Looks like I wasn't ment to escape" I thought as the creatures approached me.

"You really are pathetic" Alexander kicked me in the side of my head and I heard a crack.

○Ryuuji's P.O.V○

"What's taking her so long?" Yumi said.

"I'm going to find her." I started running towards the prison.

"Be careful!" I heard her yell.

I heard Aalia scream and I ran towards her. I stopped when I saw a bunch of creatures surrounding her and I hid behind a rock. I looked around it and saw Alexander's foot on Aalia's head. He was pushing her face into the floor.

I got mad at this. My eyes started glowing, my teeth sharpened and my wings came out of my back.

I flew into the air and blew fire mixed with crystals at them. I managed to kill some of them, the remaining ones attacked me.

"Kill him!" Alexander yelled.

"R-Ryuuji" I heard Aalia mumble as she looked at me weakly.

I became even more angry and I ran towards her. Even though we barely knew each other, I felt like I had to protect her.

The creatures charged at me, but I jumped over them. I reached Aalia and removed the rocks that were holding her down.

"Ryuuji w-why did you r-risk your life for me?" she said with her eyes half closed and her voice low.

"I'll tell you later" I picked her up bridal style and flew high into the air.

"No!! Don't let them escape!" Alexander yelled and soon the creatures attacked us.

They shot spikes and fire at me, but I refused to be defeated. I used my wings to shield me and Aalia. I saw they had let their guard down. I dropped Aalia and flew towards the creatures. I bit one of their arms off.

"Ahh!" He screamed and fell to the ground. This scared most of them and only a few were left.

I caught Aalia before she could hit the ground. I saw a hole in the ceiling and flew faster. I managed to escape from them. They all tried to fit through the hole at the same time and got stuck.

I held Aalia close to me and went to Yumi.

I landed next to Yumi and tucked my wings away. Aalia had passed out in my arms.

"*gasp* what happened?!" Yumi said running to us.

"I'll explain later, right now we need to get the hell out of here" I held Aalia tighter and me and Yumi started running for our lives.

~1 hour later~

"*pant* can we *pant* take a break?" Yumi said out of breath.

"Okay it seems like no one is following us. Let's find a place to rest"

We walked until we found a lake.

"*gasp* it's so beautiful" Yumi said, her eyes almost glowing. Since she was a mermaid she loved the lake. She ran and jumped into the water.

I gently placed Aalia on the ground and sat next to her. Yumi just swam around in circles.

"Nnh" Aalia sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"What's going on? What happened?" She asked me.

"We escaped from Alexander and his wierd army" I said.

"How long was I asleep?"

"About one hour" I look up at the sky and see the sun is setting. "We should find somewhere to camp." I stand up.
I reach my hand out to Aalia so I can help her up. She looks at it for 5 seconds then grabs it. I gently pull her up.

"Can you stand?" I ask her.

"Um..yeah I can, thanks" she let's go of my hand.

"Yumi! Come on we are leaving!" I yell.
She comes out of the water with a pout on her face.

"But I was having fun!" She whines. This made Aalia giggle.

"Alright let's find a cave to sleep in. It will be safer than in the open." I start walking, Aalia and Yumi follow me.

~10 minutes later~

"My legs hurt!" Yumi whines.
"Hehe" Aalia giggles.

"Stop complaining" I say annoyed.

"I'm hungry" Yumi whines again.
You could see the vain popping out of my forehead.

"Could you shut up already?!" I yell at her.

"Why don't you shut up?!" She yells back. We stood there fighting for a while.

Aalia sighed. "Look I think I see a cave!" She said pointing to the top of a hill.

We soon reached the cave.

"Ah finally a place to relax" Yumi grabbed a bunch of big leaves and laid down on them. My eyebrow slitely twitched at her actions.

"It's almost dark, I'm going to get some food. Do any of you know how to start a fire?"

"I do!" Aalia says raising her hand.

"Okay then make the fire. I'll be back soon" I said with a smile and walked out.

○Aalia's P.O.V○

After Ryuuji left I gathered some dead vines and broken twigs and rocks. I made a circle with the rocks and placed the vines and sticks in the middle. I hit two rocks together and a spark came. I blew on it and a fire started.

"Woooo" I said happily.
Yumi got up and walked to me.

"So....you like Ryuuji don't you?" She said smirking.

"Huh? What? N-no I don't" I said blushing.

"Hah hah you do you do. Oooooo" she said jumping around.

"Shut up!" I said while chasing her.

"I'm back!" Ryuuji walked into the cave with a stick covered in fish.

"Food!!!" Yumi yelled and attacked him for the fish. "Hey! This fish is raw and it has no insides" Yumi said while pouting.

"That's because I just caught them and eating fish guts isn't healthy." Ryuuji said standing up.

I just say against by the wall watching both of them.

Ryuuji started cooking the fish. He built a holder at each side of the fire and placed a stick on it with fish.

"Why do you know how to cook? Are you secretly a girl?" Yumi teased him.

"Shut up!" He said getting annoyed.

"Okay okay I'll stop" she walked back to her pile of leaves.

~5 minutes later~

"Okay food is done" he handed me a stick with a fish, then Yumi and then he ate one himself.

We had finished all the fish. I had 3, Ryuuji had 4 and Yumi had 7, damn she was hungry.

"Ah" she said while lying down. "I haven't eaten this much in a long time"

*rustle rustle*

"What was that?!" Yumi ran and hugged my arm.

"Oh look who is scared" I said smirking.

"Shut your stupid face! I swear I heard something."

"It's probably an animal" Ryuuji said looking out the cave.

*rustle rustle*

"Eek" Yumi hugged me.

"Ryuuji I'm starting to get scared too" I said while looking up at him.

He walked out of the cave to a bush where we heard that noise coming from.

"Ah!" Something jumped out and Ryuuji pinned it down.

"Wait a minute, it looks like a bush" Yumi said walking to Ryuuji. I got up a and went to them.

Ryuuji kicked the thing and it turned into a boy who looked about my age.

"Eeek" I screamed and hid behind Ryuuji. Yumi just stood there staring at him.

"H-hi" she looked nervous and started blushing.

"What are you doing sneaking up on us like that!" Ryuuji yelled at him.

"I wasn't sneaking. I smelled food and I came to see what it was" the boy explained.

I looked at him. He was wearing the same prison outfit as us. He had brown hair, blue eyes, and braces.

"Hi I'm Junior Ichiro" he said extending his hand to Ryuuji.

"Erm hi I'm Ryuuji Takasu" he said shaking his hand.

"I'm Yumi Ryuu!" She said smiling at him.

"Hi. What's your name?" He said while looking at me. For some reason I stayed behind Ryuuji.

"I'm A-Aalia Takahiro" I said.

Ryuuji thought for a while then spoke "Since you're a survivor. You can stay with us"

"Really that's great!" Junior said smiling.

We walked back into the cave and Ryuuji gave him some food. Junior and Yumi sat on one side of the cave and I sat on the other side. Ryuuji came up to me and sat down. He sighed and leaned his head back against the wall.

"You okay?" I said looking at him

"Yeah I'm fine"

The moon was high up in the sky and Yumi and Junior had gone to sleep. The fire had died and me and Ryuuji sat next to each other in the moon light.

"You should go to sleep" he said looking at me.

"I'm not really tired yet" I said as an excuse to stay with him. He slightly chuckled and I rested my head on his shoulder. Soon my eyelids felt heavy and I fell asleep.
