Cindy's P.O.V

Alexander didn't tell me anything about what we were injecting into Aalia's blood. After they took her back to her cell I went to my office.

"If Alexander didn't tell me what the chemicals were, I'm probably not supposed to know. But I have to find out." I thought to myself. I looked at the clock "hmm 6:39" Alexander would be heading home in an hour. I'll sneak into his office and get the information.

I waited a while to make sure he left the entire prison. After I was sure he left, I went to his office. I acted like I was supposed to be in his office and no one stopped me.

When I got inside I closed and locked the door.

I look around his files for anything. So far they were just experimenting on the children to create creatures that people don't really see. Like demons or mermaids. Each child is injected with demon blood. That much I know. But what has he been hiding from me?

I look around his files but I find nothing. I check the whole room, nothing. I remember he had people install a secret safe in the walls. I feel around until I felt a spot that's hallow. I open it and there the safe was. Now the password.

I think for awhile and bingo. It's like a light bulb appeared on top of my head.
A file I had recently opened showed his passwords. I typed in each of them and finally one worked.

I saw a file labeled "Ultimate Weapon". I opened it and started reading. I listed facts about Aalia. I skipped them and got to the part I was looking for. Mixed breed: demon, ghoul, tiger and fairy.

This shocked me. I had never heard of this experiment before. So far the kids that have had four different breeds injected into them have all died. Why would Alexander think it won't happen again?

I put the file away and close the safe before anyone gets suspicious. I leave thinking about what might happen to Aalia.

Aalia's P.O.V

"Ugh" I wake up feeling less pain. I looked at the clock "8:50" In a couple minutes they'll let us into the courtyard to be fed. I sit up and rub my eyes. I felt..wierd. I felt hungry, but not for food..for....something else. I could smell what I craved but I couldn't see what it was. It was driving me crazy. My hands started tingling. "What is happening?"
I heard someone open my cell.

"Come with me" a guard said. I got up following him. The floor was cold against my bare feet.

We arrived at a lab? I'm guessing. He opened the door and pushed me inside then left. I saw Cindy.

"Hello" she said hugging me. It felt warm like my mom's hugs. I felt like crying, but I didn't. "Here sit on the table" I hoped up on the table and she pulled out a box with tools. She pulled wierd looking ones out. I thought they would hurt but they didn't. She seemed to be taking samples from me. Like some of my hair, saliva and blood.

Suddenly I got a feeling. There it was again....that hunger. I looked around to find the what was causing the smell. When Cindy came up to me the smell got stronger. "What? Why does Cindy smell delicious?" My stomach grumbled when she got closer to me. When I looked at her she froze and stared at me.

"What's wrong Cindy?"

"Erm uh um" she grabbed a mirror and gave it to me.

I was scared to look at myself. I started shaking as I brought the mirror to my face. When I looked into the mirror I wanted to scream and cry.

"What?! What is this?!" I touched my eye. My pupil and iris had turned into a glowing red and the part that used to be white was now all black with vains spreading out of it onto my face. (Look at the picture to see what it looks like)

"What is happening!!!" I screamed looking at Cindy.

"Calm down!" She said holding my hands. "Just calm down and I'll tell you."

I took a deep breath. Tears were threatening to fall out of my eyes.

"Alexander plans to take over the world. First he is going to take over London. To do that he needs an army. But not one made of regular people. All the prisoners have been injected with demon blood to make them powerful. But they have also been mixed with other breeds. So unlike demons they have heart's and emotions. You my dear, are the main weapon he is going to use for this plan. You have been injected with the DNA of ghouls, demons, fairies and tigers." She stops talking to make sure I am still listening.

I stare at her shocked and speachless.
"Does this mean I can only eat human flesh" I say crying as I remember the newspaper I read a while back.

"I'm not sure. This is the first time we have used ghoul DNA. But we can test it" she gets up and grabs a bag. "This is a cake, if it tastes rotten then you can only eat human flesh. But if you can taste it, then you can still eat human food." She hands me the cake.

I hesitate. But I take it and take a big bite. I cried with relief, I could taste it.

"So you can still taste human food. That's great!" She said smiling.

"Wait. But..when I l-look at you I feel hungry" I said looking down.

"Hmmmm" Cindy says waking out of the room.

After 10 minutes she returned wearing gloves and a mask. In her hands she had a tray with some red thing on it. It looked like steak, but it didn't smell like steak.

"Here eat this" she said handing me the tray.

"why?"

"Just eat it"

I grabbed the meat and took a bite. It tasted wierd. Not like normal meat. Suddenly I grew hungry and I ate all of it. I felt my teeth sharpening and I could tell my eye was glowing.

"That was human meat. You might be able to eat human food, but you will have to eat human meat to survive too." She said looking at me and taking the tray away.

"What!!???" I scream covering my mouth.

She left. I was shocked.

"How? How? Why is this happening to me? I don't want to eat human meat!" I screamed while crying.

Cindy came back after 15 minutes. She hugged me again.

"Don't worry" she said.

I hugged her back. This was too much. I can't handle it anymore. I cried more and more.

After I calmed down she speaks again.

"Ghouls don't have to eat human meat every day to survive. According to our research, ghouls can last 3 months without eating human meat. So you probably just need a little piece of flesh every 3 months and for the rest of the time you can eat human food." She said smiling.

That made me feel a little better, but not that much. I still felt sad. She patted my back.

"Since you were also injected with tiger and fairy DNA you will develop some of their characteristics." She said.

I didn't say anything, I just listened.

"The results from our other experiments show that you should be able to keep your human form. You will develop wings, but you should be able to hide them. I'm not a 100% sure yet. But we will see over the next couple of days. I'll have the guards put a mirror in your cell so you can see if your eye goes back to normal." She then pats my back. "Go get some rest"

I walk out of the room and a guard takes me back to my cell. When we get there he nails a mirror into the wall then leaves.

I look into it staring at my eye. "hopefully it goes away" I think laying down on the mattress and falling asleep.
