Chapter 11: The Prison
Tadashi's P.O.V
I ran as fast as I could. Tears were streaming down my face
"Please be okay"
Aalia and her parents were the only ones there for me after my parents died. I couldn't lose them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It took forever for me to find the police station but I did.
"Someone please help!!" I yelled opening the door.
Immediately someone came to me. I told them everything and they went to the house, I tagged along with them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As I sat in the carriage I couldn't stop crying. What if they died? I shook my head. Don't think the worse. I know they survived I just know it.
When we got there the flames were going down and most of the building was burnt. They put out the fire and went to find survivors. I stayed outside in the garden waiting. I was mentally praying that at least one of them lived.
I saw men bringing out bodies covered in cloths.
"Did you find a girl with bluish brown hair and two different colored eyes?" I asked one of the guys.
"We haven't identified the bodies yet. We will when we get back to the station okay?" He said.
"Okay" I hop back into the carriage and we head to the station.
¤3 hours later¤
The assistant calls me into an office.
I sit in the chair waiting for the police officer to talk.
"Most of the bodies found were servents. We did find your aunt and uncle" the man said.
I perk up. "But unfortunately they didn't live" tears start forming in my eyes.
"Did you find Aalia?" I say trying to smile.
"There was no sign of her. She might have escaped. We will send a search party." The man said smiling.
"Thank you" I say wiping my tears.
"While you were waiting we called your nany. Go home and rest."
"Thank you" I walk outside and wait for my nany.
Aalia's P.O.V
"Uhn" I wake up with a gigantic pain in my head. I open my eyes and it was dark. Only a tiny candle was in the corner, buy it gave little light.
Suddenly all the things that had recently happened came back to me. My eyes went wide. I tried to cry, but no tears would fall. My hands were untied so I felt around the box for any way to escape. It would be impossible. There was a little hole so I looked through it to see if it was day or night. It was night time. I could see the sun going down. I leaned against the wall and hugged my knee's wondering what was going to happen to me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I must have fallen asleep. I woke up to the sound of someone violently opening the door.
"Get out of there!" A man yelled yanking me by the arm, which caused me to fall out of the box on my injured leg.
I yelped in pain, but he didn't seem to care. He kicked me in the stomach making me cough up blood. I felt weak.
"Stop it!" I heard a woman yell. She pushed the man and looked at me. She was smiling. "Don't worry we will patch up your leg. These idiots weren't supposed to hurt you." She said glaring at the man.
"Tch" was the only thing he said before he walked away. One of the other men picked me up and took me to some building.
The building was heavily guarded. It had watch towers and a lot of fences. What is this place?
We reached a gate and the woman whispered something to the guard and he opened the gate. We walked in to a building. It was all gray. It had a couple of windows. The woman examined my leg.
"Don't worry I will help you dear" she soon left. The man then carried me up so many stairs. We reached a sign that said "eighth floor".
He put me down and I leaned against the wall. He opened the cell and helped me inside then locked it.
"I thought they would be mean to me. Why are the being nice?" I thought while hopping to sit down.
I look at my arms and see I'm still wearing my jewelry. Oh no the might take it. How will I hide it. I look around my cell and see a brick that looks wierd. I use the wall for support and hop towards it. I try to pull it out. There was a missing brick. "I could hide it there!" I take of all the jewelry and put it inside the hole and use the brick to cover it. I sit back down. I sat down too fast and hurt my leg. Tears formed in my eyes. I applied pressure to try and stop the pain, but it barely worked.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After what seemed like ten minutes the woman returned and opened the cell door. "We are ready for surgery" she says lifting me up. She had blonde hair and pale skin with blue eyes "By the way my name is Cindy.What is your name?"
"A-Aalia"
"That's a pretty name" she says smiling.
Why is she so nice to me?
We arrive at the surgery room and she places me on a metal table.
"Okay. So I'm just going to put you to sleep. When you wake up you'll feel better" she gently took my arm and injected me with some medicine.
My eyelids felt heavy and I passed out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I woke up I heard people yelling and then a door slammed. I opened my eyes and saw Cindy.
"Oh you're finally awake" she said walking to me. "I took the bullets out and stitched your leg. You will be able to walk properly in two days."
I was taken back to my cell and given a slice of bread. At least I got some food.
I heard footsteps and saw a guard walking with a girl. She was whistling. The man opened her cell which was across form mine. He pushed her in. "Hey! Rude!" She said yelling at him.
"Shut up!" He said locking her cell and waking away.
She looked at me and smiled she then waved at me. I waved back. The girl had bright pink hair and turquoise eyes. She looked almost around my age. She then laid down and fell asleep.
There was a window at the top of my cell. It had too many small bars. I couldn't possibly fit thorough it. It looked like it was almost morning. I laid down and used my arm as a pillow and fell into dream land.
(Hope you guys are enjoying the book so far. The picture at the top is how the prison looks on the outside and inside. See you in the next chapter! Peace!)
