3 days later.

Avneil's twins stayed in a nursery for 3 days. Both Neil and Avni were waiting for that special moment to hold them in their arms. Finally their wait was over. Today after 3 days, the babies shifted to Avni's room....and they got to held their babies...touch them...feel them...and pour them with their unconditional love.

As they were very small due to premature delivery, Avni was very nervous to hold them. Doctor slowly placed her babies in her arms.

That moment was magical

Neil sat next to her and held one of the baby. They both looked at them..and felt blessed.

Avni (smiling and adoring her little ones) : Neil....they are so small...

Neil (adoring his little daughter resting in his big muscular arms) :
I know...they are so delicate Avni....i fear i might hurt them....he was very nervous but excited at the same time

Avni gently placed a kiss on her son's forehead. And then she kissed her daughter who was peacefully sleeping in her father's arms.

Neil was overwhelmed with the happiness those babies had brought in his life.

Neil gently caressed his babies. And suddenly the baby held his finger with her tiny hands.

He gets a blissful shock. That baby held his finger...as if she is expressing her love for his father.

Neil (happiness on his face) : Av...avni look.... She...she held..held my finger. She held my finger Avni....my daughter....she held my finger... he was overly excited

Avni looked and smiled seeing their bond

Avni (smiling): You will going be her favourite person in this world Neil. She knew how blessed she is..to have a father like you. Who will love her unconditionally and will protect her always.

Neil gently kissed her tiny fingers and his eyes were full of tears.

Neil : I love you mera bacha...my angel....And papa will always..always love you. he kissed her forehead and she stirred in her sleep.

Neil and Avni slept beside each other,holding their babies protectively in their arms, close to their chest.

They have not slept properly in these last three days. And now, holding their world in their arms, they got a peaceful sleep.

The four of them were sleeping like a peaceful happy family

After few minutes.

One of the baby started to cry. Neil and Avni got up from the sleep immediately and start panicking.

Avni caressed the baby who was crying in her arms. "Awwlele...k..kya hua mere baby ko....Neil..dekho na he...he is crying..."

Neil : I think he is hungry.....use bhuk lagi hogi avni...

Neil got up and slowly placed his daughter in the craddle, as she was sleeping peacefully and he didn't want to disturb her sleep.

He placed her gently and kissed her forehead before moving back to Avni.

Avni : Awwlele mera baby...kya hua aapko. Aapko bhuk lagi hai....nhi....nhi rote baby...mumma hai aapke paas.

Neil caressed his chest....but he was crying and crying.

Avni (nervous)  : Neil..vo bohot ro rha hai...mujhe kuch smjh nhi aa rha...hume kya krna chahiye..?

Neil : kya kre kya mtlb Avni....he is hungry...You..you should feed him....use feed kro...dekho na kitna ro rha hai...use bhuk lagi hai...

Avni (confused and nervous) : But..main....mujhe...mujhe nhi pta how to feed Neil. I am very nervous....I...I dont know how..how to do all this..m..main ye kaise kr paungi....m..mujhe...mujhe nhi pta....i..i....

Neil understand her condition. After all this is all so new for her that she always panicks before doing anything new.
She gets nervous. And its all natural after delivery. Mothers become more sensitive and start worrying for small things. Its the after effects of a delivery. And its the time where husband has to keep patience with them. They have to handle the situation and give them full support and all the love they needed.

Neil cupped her face and calmed her down.

Neil : Avni calm down. Relax....there is nothing to worry. And it's the first time you are going to feed your babies. So getting nervous is all natural....but dont worry. I am with you...right here. And we both will handle all these things... together.
He make her look in his eyes and help her calm down. They both looked in each others eyes...as this new journey of parenthood has just started for them. There will be lot of first times for them , which they will going to cherish for lifetime.

He slowly took the baby from her and sat next to her. Avni gently opened her gown buttons and took the crying baby from neil. Neil then helped her to place the baby gently on her breast. Avni softly pressed his lips on her nipple and then they dont have to do anything else, the baby itself start having his feed.
He stopped crying immediately and start sucking the milk. Both Neil and Avni looked at him.....how he immediately stopped crying, while the tears were still present on his soft skin.

Avni rested her head back on the headboard and clossd her eyes in bliss.

Neil wiped the tears from the face of his baby...and kept adoring him having his feed. Neil smiled and looked at Avni. He gently kissed her forehead.

Neil : See....how easy it was. And I know you will be a great mother to our babies. Like a perfect wife...you will be a perfect mother too. he said bringing a smile on her face.

She felt blessed. Every women's life  changed after becoming a mother. Her life is no longer for herself now, but she lives for her kids.
She does everything for them after becoming a mother.
And therefore every new mom fears, that she might hurt her baby. She fear that she will not be a good mother. She fear whether she can give all what her baby want. She fear whether she will be able to understand what her baby want. And All these fears are natural.

But for Avni, solution to all these fears is Neil. His presence around her,makes her feel special and his support gives her strength.

Soon after the baby was full, he slept. Avni felt that the baby has slept, as he was not sucking now. She looked slowly and saw how his eyes were closed and he was looking like such a innocent soul.

Avni : Neil....she gestured towards him to tell him that he has slept.

Neil nodded and took the baby gently without disturbing his sleep. He kept the baby on his shoulder and start caressing his back. He was truly enjoying being a new father.

In the meanwhile , Avni adjusted her clothes and looked towards the another piece of her heart...who was sleeping beautifully in her craddle.

After few minutes neil placed the baby in the craddle. He came back to Avni...and asked her to eat something now.

Neil : Avni...isse pehle ki dusra baby jaage....tum bhi kuch khalo...or tumhe medicine bhi leni hai...

Avni : Nhi neil...mujhe abhi bhuk nhi hai.....tum khalo...

Neil (cupping her face) : Avniii....now you dont have to eat for yourself....but for them...he make her look towards the craddle...where their two sunshines were sleeping.

Neil : So...you have to eat properly...neil tried to lighten the atmosphere and decided to tease her a little

Neil (with a smirkish look) : Or vese bhi, Tum nhi khaogi to chlega....but mere babies ko proper nutrients milne chahiye....or uske liye tumhe khana pdega.....After all main apne babies ki diet ko lekar koi risk nhi le skta....To tumhe toh meri baat manni hi pdegi.....smji Mrs Khanna....he teased her with a smirk on his face

Avni : Neilll (he tapped his shoulder)....achha to ab tum sirf apne babies se pyaar krte ho...mujhse nhi ....she make an angry face and tried to tease him back....thik hai fir, main bhi apna saara pyaar sirf unhe dungi...or tumhe...kuch nhi milega...nothing....smjhe Mr khanna...she warned him and moved her face on another side.

Neil knew she is teasing him...he noticed a naughty smile on her face.

He immediately held her hand...and pulled her towards him. She moved with a jerk towards him, leaving very little space between them.

Neil moved even more closer to her, increasing her heartbeats.

Neil : Toh..kya keh rhi thi tum....he whispered huskily near her lips...and she looked in his eyes.

Avni tried to move away, but neil's grip was tight on her.

Neil (in his husky voice) : Tumhare pyaar..or tumpar to sirf mera haq hai...or ye haq tum bhi nhi cheen skti....with this he moved closer to her lips.

Avni always melts in front of his charm and could not resist herself. She closed her eyes. Neil was about to capture her lips but......

The baby starts to cry.....

Avni opened her eyes listening the cries and pushed neil away. She laughed looking the unsatisfied look on his face.

Avni (laughing) : Jao Mr papa....apni duty nibhao...
....or haan....Romance to ab tum.... bhul jao.....😂😉

He looked at her....and they both laughed together.
