Third Person's POV

On their way to Shalour City for Ash and Eli's next Gym battle; our heroes meet Gym Leader Korrina and her partner Lucario; Korrina agreed to let our heroes accompany her to Geosenge town to witness Lucario's Mega Evolution, now they've arrived in town to search for the Mega Stone known as Lucarionite.

"So that's Geosenge Town" Ash said seeing the town just a mile away from him.

"Pika!" Pikachu also looks at the town while being on Ash's shoulder.

Bonnie looks at her bag "we're here Dedenne!" Bonnie tells the antenna Pokémon who came out of her tiny bag while yawning from its nap.

"What a cute town" Serena commented.

Gary looks at Korrina "So we're supposed to find the Mega Stone Here, right?" he asked while everyone looks at the blonde female gym leader who's looking down.

"Korrina?" Eli calls her.

"Veon?" Sylveon tilts its head.

"Finally..." Korrina mutters

"Oh no" Whitley said facepalming.

Maddie sigh "here we go again" she added which Serena looks at them confusingly.

"What's wrong?" Serena asked with a bit of concern.

"Finally, I'm here" she mutters to herself before Jumping of joy "Yay!" she cheered. Ash and the others minus the twins were surprised to see how high Korrina jumped; both Korrina and Lucario were holding paws/hands while Korrina's still jumping "we made it! We're in Geosenge Town, Lucario!" she tells the Aura Pokémon who's smiling at her Korrina looks at Lucario determined "Now, it's time; time for you to Mega Evolve" she then said which Lucario nod at her in agreement "Let's go!" Korrina said before she and Lucario run a head.

"Hey!" Ash calls the blonde.

"Off she goes again" Maddie said.

"Some things never change with age, don't they?" Whitley adds.

Maddie giggles "You can say that again" she agrees before they and the rest of our heroes run off to catch up with Korrina.

-scene change-

they entered the town, and our heroes were amazed by the scenery and the shops that the town has in store.

"Korrina, I know you're here for Lucarionite, but do you know where to find it?" Ash question.

"Not a clue" Korrina responds looking around.

Maddie and Whitley sweat drop at their friend from school 'Of course' they thought.

"But if you don't know where it is, how are you going to look for it?" Serena then asked Korrina.

"Grandfather told me that we came to Geosenge town, we'd figure out; and my grandfather's really smart!" Korrina explains.

"Figure it out?" Ash repeated before hanging downwards in disappointment making the other laugh nervously at him while Eli and Gary roll their eyes.

"I guess Ash and Korrina are the types who like to just jump into things" Serena said.

"That's why you two get along" Bonnie adds.

Serena looks over and sees a bunch of evolutionary stones in a store near them "Look at all of these beautiful stones" she said looking a the stones.

"Guess lots of store here sell evolution stones" Clemonts then said.

"I want one too" Bonnie said to herself.

they see a random guy with a Sun Stone in hand and calls out his Helioptile who touches the stone, and it evolves into a Heliolisk.

"Awesome! I'm guessing that's exactly how your Helioptile evolved, right Clemont?" Bonnie then asks her brothers who nod at her.

"that's right, Helioptile evolved into a Heliolisk using a Sun Stone as well" he explains.

"Ash, I was wondering, isn't Pikachu gonna evolve?" Bonnie explains.

Eli giggled "Pikachu's the Type of Pokémon who doesn't want to evolve" he explains to Bonnie.

"Wow, okay" Bonnie said with understanding.

Korrina and Lucario looked at each other "Now, Let's hurry and find the Lucarionite super quick!" she said which Lucario agrees.

"I Suggest we all split up and search every store in town" Clemont said.

Eli nods "alright we can do that, let's meet up at the center of town later on, alright?" he then also points out which everyone agrees, and they all went to different directions.

Eli walks around town and enters a random store "Hello young man, what can I help you with?" he hears a shopkeeper greeting from the counter.

"Oh hi, I'm not sure if you guys sell what I'm looking for, but I'm in a search of a Mega Stone called a Lucarionite" Eli tells the shopkeeper.

The shopkeeper makes a thinking pose for a moment "I'm sorry I don't sell such stone, but I do have a different Mega Stone that I think will be quite a liking for you" they said to Eli which he looks curious the shopkeeper opens a box and shows a purple stone with different shades of purple and a hint of gray.

Eli looks at it with Amazement "wow, what kind of Mega Stone it is?" he asked.

"A one of a kind Aerodactylite; with this stone you can Mega Evolve a Aerodactly" the shop keeper explains before noticing Eli's Key Stone "hey kid just to let you know that this used to cost over seven hundred thousand Poke dollars, but I can give it for free to the lucky trainer who enters here with a Key Stone in their possession like yourself" he explains.

"Well not the Mega Stone I'm looking for, but I'll take it" Eli said as he buys the Mega Stone as he thanked the man "I think it'll be quite helpful for Gary don't you think, Sylveon?" he asked his intertwining Pokémon who nod while they walk out "Yeah, I think so too, if only he has a Key Stone, then it'll be cool" he said before putting the stone in his bag and walk off to meet up with the others and meets up but stops at a Jewelry store and a idea came in mind.

-scene change-

Clemont and Bonnie walk up to center of town where Ash and the others are.

"Have you got any luck?" Ash asked.

Clemont shakes his head "Every single shop owner I spoke to said they had never even heard of a Lucarionite" Clemont tells him.

"Hold on! My grandfather told me that we'd find the Lucarionite right here in this town!" Korrina stated but then remembered and smiles "Looks like we can't lose heart now! What's right for me; finding it by ourselves will make Mega Evolution possible!" she then said as Lucario agrees with her.

"That's the spirit!" Bonnie cheered.

"Sure is; too early to give up" Ash agrees.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu also agrees.

Gary looks around "wait where's Eli?" he asked.

"Coming!" they hear a familiar shout they look and sees Eli running up to them with a bag in hand "sorry I'm late" he apologizes.

"Eli what's with that bag?" Maddie asked.

"Did you found anything about the Lucarionite" Korrina asked him.

Eli then stands straight "No, but I found something else, and I'm gonna need Aerodactyl for this one" he said which for our heroes and Korrina were confused by this.

"Aerodactyl?" Gary repeated.

"please" Eli pleaded.

"Okay, come on out Aerodactyl!" Gary calls out his Rock and Flying type Pokémon who happily growls at Gary.

Eli walks up to Aerodactyl "I went to a store and this man handed me this" he explains as he pulls out a Dark Purple metalic fabric Dragon scale collar with the Aerodactylite attached to it out of the shopping bag "He said that he doesn't sale a Lucarionite, but he has this instead" he explains while putting the collar on Aerodactyl "he said that he found it just three days ago, but he was originally selling it for seven hundred thousand Poké dollars, but I believe he gave it to me for free due to the fact that I possess a Key Stone" he explains before finishing buckling the collar.

'Talking about lucky' the others thought.

"It doesn't bother you doesn't it Aerodactyl?" he asked which the Fossil Pokémon shake its head.

Korrina's eyes widen with shock and points at the stone screaming "that stone is a Aerodactylite isn't it?"

Eli nods "Aerodactyl can be able to Mega Evolve with it" he explains.

Gary looks shock "that's amazing!" he said "but I don't have a Key Stone" he points.

"Possibly it means that you will have one eventually, Gary!" Bonnie tells the tall brunette.

"But we've still gotta figure out what we're gonna do with the main subject which is the Lucarionite" Ash then reminded everyone which everyone agree.

"Excuse me" someone call the group and they see a chubby middle-aged man with a camera on his hand.

"the Name is McGinty; I'm a photographer how about I take a picture of you all? As a Souvenir Photo?" he offers "It's what I do, and I know you'll be very happy it" he tells her.

"Souvenir Photo? Oh boy!" Bonnie said excitedly.

"That's a great idea; since, we're all here together then we'll have a nice picture as a memento" Serena then said.

Clemont looks unsure "You think so?" he questioned.

"Let's go for it and take a group photo; why not" Ash said as Pikachu agreed.

"Alright, we're in Geosenge Town, and I wanna show grandfather that we made it all the way!" Korrina said.

and then the group gathered together for a group picture as Eli stands in the middle while Ash, Gary and Clemont were surrounding him with Serena and Maddie were close together on one side while Korrina and Whitley being the good friends that they are they're have their arms around each other's shoulder while Bonnie crouches down with the Pokémon.

"Now squeeze in just a wee bit more" McGinty said as the teens did as they were told.

Eli could feel Ash's hand on Eli's right side of his waist then another hand on his left he narrows his eyes downwards and sees Clemont's hand he looks at Clemont with a nervous blush, but what makes Eli blush a bit more was Gary laying his shin on Eli's shoulder smirking at Ash making him force a smile although on the inside he wants to strangle Gary at that very moment.

"Okay, give me some big smiles, everyone" McGinty said making the group chuckle as the light from the camera flashes before our heroes' eyes "Got it! Now, we'll print this up right away" he said before handing the ship to his assistant "Please make it quick, okay?" he instructs the young man who nod and makes his leave before taking the chip from his boss.

Clemont walks up to the Cameraman whose putting his camera away "Do you by any chance, know anything about locating evolutions stones?" he asked.

"Evolution Stones are out there, in a cave that hidden inside of that mountain" McGinty explains pointing at a tall mountain behind our heroes who look.

"Wow a mountain Cave?" Clemont repeated.

This strikes a spark in Korrina before looking back at McGinty "And, sir, do you know anything about Lucarionite? I need to find it right away!" she explains.

"Lucarionite eh? I don't think I've heard of it before, but I think my other intern does" McGinty said before looking back and smiles before seeing a familiar face from a distance "Xavier!" he called waving at the person "I have someone asking about the Lucarionite, can you help them out?" he questions.

"Sure, thing Gramps" a blonde tall young man said walking up to him.

Xavier is a tall young man with grey-blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. He is typically seen wearing a white shirt and dark pants and white running shoes with light yellow detail matching with a pale-yellow jacket that he wears over the white shirt.

"Oh, Hey Korri" he greets the blonde older female.

"Xavi!?" Korrina questioned looking at the tall young man with shock.

Ash looks at Korrina curiously "you know him, Korrina?" he asks.

"They're siblings" Maddie and Whitley answer.

"So you're finally able to look for the Lucarionite, are you?" Xavier asks his little sister who pouted at him.

"You didn't tell me that you were going to Geosenge town!" The female protested.

Xavier raises his hands in defense "in my defense I wasn't aware that you were coming here until Grandpa called me just an hour ago during my break" he explains.

Korrina sighs "I guess I should be expecting that" she said gloomily.

"But jokes aside let's head back to main topic, Korri; I'd heard about a cave where it's possible to locate a special kind of Evolution Stone, which I believe is that Lucarionite that you've been looking for" Xavier then tells his little sister much for Korrina and our heroes' excitement.

"You mean it Xavi? You better not fucking with me!" Korrina said.

"Please tell us where it is!" Ash then adds.

Xavier looks over at the group "Sure, but allow me to introduce myself, I'm Xavier, I'm Korrina's older brother, it's nice to meet you" he said before looking at Whitley "hello again Whitley" he said with a small smile.

Whitley blushes and looks away "h-hi" he shyly greets back making Maddie shake her head.

"If you go even farther into the mountain, you'll find a cave then in that same cave you'll find a small entrance to another cave, that's where it's located" Xavier explains while everyone looks back at the mountain.

"That might be just what we're looking for" Clemont said.

"Maybe" Gary responds as Eli nod agreeing.

"Let's check it out, Korrina" Ash tell the female Gym leader who nods.

"You know, it's said that terrible things can happen to people who are not worthy enough to enter" McGinty said making Serena nervous and clings on a blushing Maddie.

"T-Terrible things?" Serena questions.

"Or an adventure" Bonnie adds.

"I can't tell you for sure; but there's some evidence that terrible things really do happen there. and that's why the people from this town never, ever venture into that cave!" the old man explains making the group look at McGinty nervous, aware and curious, Korrina however is psyched about this.

"I think you must be wrong; it can't be a cave that's as scary as all that" Serena Denies.

Xavier shakes his head "You can deny all you want but is the truth, from experience, I know" he said.

"you tried to enter the cave, Xavier?" Whitley asked.

Xavier shakes his head again "Not this particular cave but another cave that's similar to the one here" he explains.

Korrina remembers "Oh I remember that day when you got the Galladeite you've told me about" she said which her brother nod at her.

Bonnie looks at Korrina "Galladeite?" she repeated.

Eli looks at Bonnie "is a Mega Stone that can help a Gallade Mega Evolve" he tells her.

"You sure know about Mega Stones, do you?" Clemont said to Eli

Eli shrugs "More or less, I know that fact because I recently found out that Zoey which is a friend of our from our previous separate adventures who also have a Gallade can Mega Evolve as well" he explains.

"I know this is it! just you wait, Lucarionite; I'm gonna find you in a flash" Korrina mutters to herself determined to find the Lucarionite "come on, let's go!" she stated before trying to leave with Lucario, but Xavier stops her.

"Before you do that, you're not planning on leaving without the picture right?" he questioned.

Korrina realizes "Oh, yeah, forgot about that, thanks Xavi" she said.

McGinty's assistant arrives and hands the old man 9 copies of the group photo "here; your pictures are all done!" McGinty said as the group each take a copy.

Ash Gary and Clemont look at the picture specifically at Eli 'Now I have something with Eli to fantasize to' They thought with red faces.

"They look awesome, thank you so much" the blue hair male thanked the old man.

Whitley smile "What a great souvenir" he said as his twin nods agreeing with him.

"I can keep it forever!" Bonnie adds.

Korrina looks happily at the Photo "Yep! I can't wait to show it to my grandfather" she said before looking at the Aura Pokémon "Don't you think he'll just love it?" Korrina asked her partner who smile and nod.

Serena looks at the picture with a small blush on her face 'we look so close' she said in her thoughts.

"Serena we're heading off now" Maddie tells Serena who snaps back to reality before putting the picture on a pocket that her skirt has.

"Coming!" she replies before catching up with the others.

McGinty and Xavier watch the group leave "It worked out just as we planned, didn't it, Gurkinn?" he questions himself but only Xavier heard him.

"Is Korri who we're talking about, she has that fighting spirit within her, beside I believe that she knows what she's going to do once she reaches there" Xavier tells the man "Besides she has Whitley and her other friend to support her along with Lucario" he then adds.

-scene change-

Our heroes had arrived to a mine.

"So this is where they mine Evolution Stones" Korrina stated

"I can't wait to get a closer look" Clemont said.

Eli places a hand on Clemont's shoulder "We can do that after we find that Lucarionite" he said Clemont nods agreeing with the blue hair male.

"If I remember correctly both Xavier and Mr. McGinty said that there was a cave located even farther back" Gary points out.

"We better look for it then" Maddie said.

"Farther back, right? Come on, Let's go!" Korrina said as she runs off with everyone following behind.

Eli then feels something tugging his arm he looks down and he sees Sylveon looking at a wall "what's wrong Sylveon?" he asked.

Sylveon points at the wall with it's feelers and Eli follows the pointing and gasped as Korrina Lucario arrives to where Eli and Sylveon are before using power up Punch through the wall.

'This has Team Rocket written all over it, we must be cautious' Eli thought only for Lucario to growl which Eli assumed that it heard Eli's thoughts.

Korrina and the other arrived "Eli, Lucario you found it" she stated.

"Well, more like Sylveon found the cave I could be wrong but I'm assuming someone was here before us and try to slow us down by covering the cave's entrance with two large boulders" Eli explained.

"Sylveon!" the intertwining Pokémon stands proudly while Pikachu Umbreon and Lucario interacted with Sylveon who simply smiles at them.

Pikachu and Umbreon blush and look away before Sylveon noticed them while Dedenne and Lucario chuckled.

our heroes then continue their quest to find the cave deeper in the cave where they believe is where the Lucarionite is Located.

Lucario sensed something before continuing moving forward much for everyone curiosity.

"Well, I can be wrong, but I get the feeling that Lucario's sensing the Lucarionite" Eli tells the others.

"How can you be sure" Korrina asked looking at Eli suspiciously.

"It's a gut feeling" he explained.

Ash and Gary then nod "I would listen to Eli" Gary warns Korrina.

"Yeah, his gut feelings are usually, right" Ash adds while the others nod agreeing with the Kantonian trio.

Lucario then stands in front of the cave and turn to our heroes "Ra!" the Aura Pokémon calls pointing at the cave with its paw.

"Look it's a cave!" Ash stated.

"We found it!" Bonnie adds.

"Lucario, you're amazing! just as Eli said Lucario must've sensed the Lucarionite! So it's got to be somewhere inside this cave!" Korrina said making the other minus Eli and Sylveon look at Korrina confusedly "Like grandfather said, he told me that Lucario and I would find the Lucarionite together" She said before looking at her partner "That's it, right?" She questions who nods.

"Amaizing!" Ash mutters with amazement.

Clemont nod "Yes, but we don't know for sure unless we go in and find out, right?" Clemont questions.

Maddie nod "that's the point of us being here in the first place" she said.

"B-But is pitch black in there" Serena nervously point out.

"Leave that part to me" Eli said before pulling out a Poké ball "Braixen!" he said before throwing the Pokéball and the Shiny Fire Fox Pokémon appears before everyone much to Korrina and Lucario's surprise.

"Xen!"Braixen cries happily.

"I didn't know you have a shiny Braixen!" she said.

"Thanks, Braixen's one strong Pokémon" Eli responds "Braixen we're goin inside that cave think you can use your fire to guide us?" he asks his Pokémon who nod and take its branch wand out of its tail and light up a small fire ball.

then suddenly screams were heard while deep into the cave he sees Team Rocket flying out of there.

"Everyone, get down!" he shouted as he and the others crouch down preventing themselves from getting hit by team Rocket's blast off.

"Why does this happen to me?" they hear Jessie questioned.

"Or me?" James also questions.

"We're blasting off again!"

"Wobbuffet!"

They all then look at the Direction where Team Rocket flew off.

"How come I'm not surprised?" Ash questions.

"You can say that, again" Eli agrees.

"The Lucarionite!" Korrina stated before trying to run into the cave but Lucario stops her "Huh, Lucario?" Korrina wonders why her Pokémon stop her from moving forward.

"I think there's something back there" Ash tells Korrina.

"So what? We can't just run away" Korrina protests.

Eli walks up to Korrina "that's not the suggestion Korrina, what Lucario's trying to tell you that something or someone must be also inside along with the Lucarionite, so is best for all of us to be careful" he tells the stubborn female who seems to understand "Everyone, stay close" he instructs the other and everyone agree before entering while Clemont pulls out a mechanic flashlight popping out of his backpack and he along with Braixen light up the path.

Serena flinches hearing the sound of a growl "Something's growling back there" she states.

"Probably just the wind, don't worry Serena, if anything happens, I got your back" Maddie reassure Serena who then feels less nervous and nods at the white hair female.

Our heroes suddenly stop and they see a open door which they alarmed.

"What's that?" Ash questions.

Eli frown "I wish I know the answer, but I afraid the answer is probably on the other side, everyone be double of careful that you already are" he warns as everyone agreed.

Korrina and Lucario were the first to walk up the big door and they see a big orange stone a cross from them causing the blonde girl to gasp.

"Lucarionite!" Korrina stated as the other catches up to her.

"Check it out!" Ash said with excitement.

"Is it really?" Serena question looking at the stone with awe.

Maddie nods "it's the real deal" she said.

"It's beautiful" Bonnie comment.

Whitley also nods "it is beautiful alright" he agrees.

"It's like the Lucarionite was calling out to Lucario!" Clemont stated as Gary was taking down some important notes of what he manages to dictate.

"Great! Now Lucario will be able to Mega Evolve!" Ash then tells Korrina.

Korrina looks at Lucario and nod at each other before running up toward the stone before out of nowhere a Blaziken appears attending to land a hit on Lucario who blocked its attack with ease and then try to fight it with a kick of its own but Blaziken dodge with ease and moonsault landed with the Lucarionite behind it.

"Are you okay, Lucario?" Korrina asks her Pokémon with concern.

"What was all that?" Ash questions seeing this unexpected plot twist.

"Talking about a plot twist" he said.

Serena pulls out her Pokedex "Hold on" she said.

"Blaziken, the Blaze Pokémon; Blaziken leaves opponents charred with its fiery punches."

"What's a Blaziken doing here?" Clemont question looking at the Fire Type Pokémon looking down on them.

"I'm guessing it's guarding the Lucarionite" Whitley said making Bonnie look at the white hair male.

"Guarding?" she repeated.

"Maybe Blaziken threw Team Rocket out of the cave!" Ash assumes.

Bonnie hugs her brother "help I'm scared" she said.

Eli looks over at the younger female "don't worry Bonnie, everything's going to be okay, I promise" he said with a calm reassuring tone which Bonnie calms down but still alert.

"Is it mad?" Serena asks looking at Blaziken over Maddie's shoulder nervously.

"Quite opposite, it seems calm" Maddie responds.

Gary notices this and nods "Yeah is like as if it was expecting Korrina and Lucario to be here" he said

Blaziken looks at our heroes before narrowing its eyes at the Mega stone behind it and looks back at Korrina and Lucario.

"I see, if we want the Lucarionite, first we have to defeat Blaziken in a Pokémon battle!" Korrina stated before her and Lucario nod at each other Korrina then tosses her backpack to Ash who caught it "I think you should stand back; this is the last hurdle, before Lucario can Mega Evolve" she tells our heroes.

"I hear you; good luck Korrina" Ash whishes the Gym Leader good luck while Pikachu does the same to Lucario.

"Thanks, but there's no way we're gonna lose now" she said making Maddie and Whitley alert which Clemont and Serena notice them.

"Are you guys alright?" Clemont asked.

"We know Korrina long enough to know when she's going to take a battle seriously" Whitley explains.

Maddie nods "When she says 'there's no way we're gonna lose' it means that I'm not holding back anymore, and I would watch out if I were you" she adds.

"I guess Ash and I are going to see a sneak peak of what we'll be expecting from the Shalour City Gym Leader" Eli then said which the ravenette Kantonian nod agreeing with him along with Pikachu and Sylveon

Korrina and Lucario looks up at Blaziken "Hello, Blaziken; my name is Korrina; I challenge you for the Lucarionite, so Lucario can mega Evolve!" Korrina tells the Blaze Pokémon before her before throwing her gray shirt away and put on her helmet "Let the battle begin! Lucario Power up punch!" Korrina said before Lucario charges at Blaziken.

"There's their first attack!" Ash stated.

"Yay!" Bonnie cheers.

Lucario attend to hit Blaziken with Power up Punch but the Blaze Pokémon dodge quickly before hitting Lucario with Blaze Kick which is super effective on Lucario due to the fact that Lucario is part Steel Type.

Korrina then sees Blaziken attending to hit Lucario again with Blaze Kick "Lucario dodge it!" she tells the Aura Pokémon who barely dodge Blaziken's fast Blaze Kicks.

"Lucario!" Ash calls the Aura Pokémon with worry as if he's the one battling not Korrina.

"Blaziken moves so fast!" Clemont stated.

Gary nods "It sure is one though opponent!" he adds.

"And of course, that Blaziken knows Blaze Kick" Eli points out.

"Use Metal sound!" Korrina tells Lucario.

Lucario puts the spikes on its paws together, causing white sound waves accompanied by a sound like scraping metal to emit from the tips and spread towards Blaziken, making it cover its ears in pain. Lucario also growls in unison with the ringing. Lucario then charges at Blaziken and hits Blaziken with Power up Punch but Blaziken blocks it.

Lucario tries to hit Blaziken for the second time but the Fire and fighting type Pokémon ducks before breathing out a flamethrower at Lucario making it get hit on a corner of the cave on its back.

"What a Flamethrower" Ash comments.

"Pika" Pikachu agrees.

"Lucario's in a tight spot due to the fact that not only they're both fighting type but Blaziken is a Fire type while Lucario is part Steel" Whitley explains.

"Yeah, along with it's speed" Clemont adds.

"So strong" Gary mutters.

Serena looks worried "You're right" She agrees.

Korrina skates towards her Pokémon but Blaziken stops her from getting closer by stumbling backwards while her photocopy flew out of her skirt pocket and gets caught in the fire which ended up with Korrina falling on her back making her grunt in pain at the impact of the fall; Blaziken then grabs Lucario by the head before throwing it away

"Oh no I can't watch!" Serena said before hiding her face on Maddie's shoulder "we got to stop this" she stated.

Lucario then falls on the water that surrounded the path between the entrance and the Lucarionite.

"As much as I agree with you, but we can't" Maddie said.

Serena looks at Maddie "Why not?"

Ash then joins the conversation "Korrina said this was her battle; We've gotta stay out of it" he said.

"Yeah, and don't forget about the stories we told you guys before coming here" Whitley reminds the honey blonde female.

Eli then looks at Korrina "Isn't that true? You won't give up, right?" he asked.

Korrina smirks "Ash and Eli get it; they totally understand" she says to herself before getting up "That's right. We'll never give up; no matter who we're up against in battle We'll never turn and run the other way!" she states before looking over at Lucario who's sitting in the corner of the cave with water soaking its lower body "Right Lucario?" she asked her partner while waiting for it to respond.

Lucario struggles to get back up while everyone begin to cheer for the Aura Pokémon when the Aura Pokémon gets up looks at Blaziken and gets on a battle stance which the Blaze Pokémon gets impressed by Lucario's determination to continue fighting.

"Lucario, Power-Up Punch, go!" Korrina tells Lucario while shadowboxing.

Lucario jumps and its fists light up with orange energy and strikes them at Blaziken strike them a few times making Blaziken move itself back. Lucario lets out a war cry before using two Bone Rush and charges at Blaziken hitting the Fire and Fighting type Pokémon with them making it super effective since Bone Rush is a ground-type Move. Blaziken then fall while the Bone Rush were stucked un the ground surrounding Blaziken's neck arms and legs immobilize the Blaze Pokémon.

"Alright! Way to go!" Korrina cheered.

"Awesome! Blaziken can't move so speed won't help it now" Ash stated.

Whitley smiles proudly at his friend "here it comes, Mads" he tells his twin sister.

Maddie nods "the finishing blow!" she adds.

"We're almost done! Lucario, let's finish this up!" Korrina tells her partner.

Lucario charges at Blaziken going for another Power-Up Punch when suddenly a shout interrupted the battle "Enough!" Lucario stops itself when its fist barely touches Blaziken's mid-session "You have won" he said.

Korrina and Lucario looks over at where the voice came from, and they see a bald man with weird eyebrows wearing a gray jump suit with a red shirt underneath coming out of hiding.

"Hello Korrina" the man greeted the female.

"Grandfather?" Korrina questions out of shock.

"Mr. Gurkinn?" Maddie and Whitley questions as shocked as Korrina.

"That's your grandfather?" Ash and the others questioned at the same time.

"No that's Diantha" Eli sarcastically spoke.

"Yes; they call me the Mega Evolution guru; I'm Gurkinn" he said introducing himself.

"Mega Evolution guru?" Ash repeated.

"Pika?" Pikachu is as confused as its trainer.

"And he's Korrina and Xavier's Grandfather, as well?" Serena question.

Maddie laughs nervously "Yeah, like you said" she responds.

"So, what is he doing here anyway?" Clemont questions.

Gurkinn pulls out a Pokéball "You battled nobly, Blaziken you may return" he said while Blaziken returns to the Pokéball.

Korrina seems confused "What's going on? Does all of this mean that Blaziken is your Pokémon grandfather?" she questions.

"That's correct, Korri" a familiar voice is heard as everyone looks back and sees Xavier walking in the cave.

"But why all of this?" Korrina asks not understanding what's going on and why is her grandfather and older brother are in the cave.

"I knew that you would complete your training and make it here successfully; so, I thought I'd give you this final trial myself, and you overcome it beautifully as we knew you would" Gurkinn explains while walking up to his granddaughter.

"Like me; you passed this final test with Flying colors!" Xavier added while ruffling his little sister helmet.

"Xavi! Stop it!" Korrina pushes her brother off her and pouts making Xavier laugh.

Xavier raises his hand defensively "Okay, okay I'll stop" he said

Gurkinn then puts his bare hand on Korrina's shoulder "Well done, Korrina dear" he congratulated the Korrina before looking over at Lucario "And you as well, Lucario" he added making Korrina and Lucario smile at him.

Xavier lightly pushes his sister forward "Go Korri, take what you've earned, go, go!" he tells his sister who chuckled and rolls off to the Lucarionite.

Korrina carefully goes up the steps and looks at the Mega stone with awe and picks it up with both hands her eyes light up with awe while chuckling she turns and raises the Lucarionite above her head.

"We've finally got the Lucarionite!" she stated while everyone was looking at Korrina with proud smiles and Lucario howls happy for the accomplishment. 

-scene change-

Korrina and the others return to Geosenge Town where McGinty is waiting for them. 

"Mr. McGinty!" Ash calls him.

Bonnie waves at the man "we came back!" she stated.

"Well, it's nice to see you; did you find what you were looking for?" McGinty asked.

Ash nod "Yup, we sure did" he answered.

McGinty smiles "Wonderful!" he said.

"Sorry, Mr. McGinty" Korrina apologizes which the man looks at Korrina confused with why she's apologizing to him "you took such a nice photo of us, but I'm afraid mine got burnt up" she explains.

McGinty seems to understand the female "I see... Well then, we'll just have to print you out another one" he said carefreely.

Korrina looks surprised "Really? Thanks a lot!" she said as Gurkinn and Xavier catches up with the rest of our heroes.

"Say it looks like it went well; your granddaughter really is something special" McGinty tells the old man in the jumpsuit.

Gurkinn chuckled "She's my Granddaughter, of course she is" he responds while walking up to McGinty as Xavier chuckled at our heroes' confused expression.

Xavier looks at Whitley 'He's so cute' he thought.

Eli seems to be realizing "Of course" he said making everyone look at the blue hair male "Mr. McGinty knew about whereabouts about the Lucarionite and the whole terrible things that happened must been a set up for us to take Gurkinn's trial seriously" he explains.

Gurkinn chuckle "Smart young man you are, huh?" he said.

Eli shrug "I kind of figure out on the way here when I'd realized that Lucario could sense the Lucarionite from a distance, I didn't say anything sooner because I was afraid that I could be wrong" he explains again.

"So, you knew from the beginning?" Ash questions.

McGinty laughs nervously "Sorry, kids" he apologizes.

"If someone unworthy of the Mega Stone had gone inside the cave, grandfather's Blaziken would have driven them off" Xavier explains to our heroes and Korrina now standing next to his grandfather.

"So, it wasn't a total lie" Gurkinn added.

Serena then remembers "Like Team Rocket" she mutters only for Maddie and Ash who are the closest to the honey blonde female heard her making them laugh nervously.

"Now, Korrina" Gurkinn calls the female Gym Leader with a serious expression.

"Yeah?" the female questioned.

"Like I said to Xavier when he and Gallade archived the Galladeite; as proof that you overcame your trial, the Lucarionite is yours; I'm giving it to you" he tells Korrina with a calm yet proud tone.

Korrina and Lucario smiled "thanks" Korrina reply to Gurkinn.

"Good for you, Korri" Whitley complimented Korrina.

Maddie head petted Lucario "You too, Lucario" she said which the Aura Pokémon bark happily.

The rest of our heroes look at Korrina with proud smiles as well and also congratulated the two of them.

"You're so nice, thank you" Korrina responded. 

"Okay Korrina, are you ready?" Gurkinn asked his granddaughter.

Korrina nod "Ready, grandfather!" she responds.

Korrina and Lucario are standing away from everyone else but for some reason Eli have a bad feeling about this he looks around and notices Xavier having the same expression as Eli sees Xavier pulling out a Pokéball.

Korrina then gives Lucario the Lucarionite which the Aura Pokémon holds it with its paws as Korrina takes a few steps back "Here we go Lucario!" she tells her partner who nod at her making Korrina know that the Aura Pokémon is as ready as she is "Now, Lucario, Mega Evolve!" she shouted as both her Key Stone and the Lucarionite begin to glow.

"We'll finally get to see another Mega Evolution!" Ash states.

"I can't wait!" Clemont adds.

While the stones glow Lucario's Body begins to glow as well, and its appearance begins to change slightly; After Overcoming many obstacles and winning a hard-fought battle against Blaziken, Korrina has finally obtained Lucarionite; soon, Lucario's Mega Evolution will be revealed as the journey continues.

The light fade and our heroes see Lucario's Mega Evolution form in which Korrina was ecstatic about.

Xavier frowns seeing the Glowing eyes "We did it! we really did it!" she stated.

Ash and Gary look at the Mega Evolved Pokémon "Check it out, it's mega Lucario" Ash says with awe.

"Yeah" Gary agrees.
