Third Person's POV

Our heroes were on the road to Shalour City, and they decided to make a short stop by giving Bonnie some trainer tips even though she isn't sure of what kind of trainer she wishes to be, but Eli advise her to take her time and since she's still young she still has time of the world to figure out.

Meanwhile Serena walks up to her Fennekin with her basket in hand "Here we are! They're ready, Fennekin" Serena says as she places the basket Infront of her she then opens it as Fennekin smiles at what's inside the basket.

Gary then walks up "wow, those seem delicious, Serena" he complimented the Honey blonde.

Serena smiles "thanks! These are traditional Pokémon sweet treats, they're called Poké Puffs" she says showing the sweet that she brought.

"Poké Puffs huh?" Gary repeats before taking notes on his note pad.

"Why are you taking note for?" Serena then asked.

"Oh, is something that I normally do when I travel through a Region I haven't been before, I did that with Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova, Not Kanto and Johto because I basically grew up there" he explains.

"Umbre" Umbreon 

"Do you want one, Umbreon?" Serena asked the Moon Pokémon Umbreon hops on the bench and sits next to Fennekin "here you go!" Serena then hands them two Poke puffs Umbreon and Fennekin take a bite of the Poké Puffs and they cry happily.

Ash then walks up "People can eat it too, right?" Ash asks before picking up a Poke Puff and takes a bite of it before he freezes.

"Oh no not again" Serena then hears Eli mutter.

Serene then looks at the blue hair male "what do you mean again?" She questions.

"This reaction is something that you shouldn't be worried about, Serena; when Ash tastes something delicious for the first time, he stays silent for a few seconds, and he'll go back to his senses in three...two...one" Eli explains while pointing handguns at Ash.

"They're great! That's the yummiest thing I've ever eaten in my life other than Eli's sweets!" Ash states.

Serena sighs "Please don't scare me like that" Serena tells Ash.

"Yeah, Ash I appreciate that you also like my sweet, but keep your overreaction to the food to a minimum; you almost give poor Serena a heart attack, and she's not in her twenties, yet" Eli tells Ash making the Honey blonde sweat drop at that comment.

'Thank you I guess' she thought.

Dedenne seems to want to have a Poké Puff Bonnie looks at Ash "Can Dedenne please have one?" Bonnie ask.

Eli Pick up a Poké Puff and goes to Bonnie and crouches to Dedenne "here you Go Dedenne" Eli tells the electric and Fairy type Pokémon.

Before Dedenne can get its paws on the Poké Puff it gets levitated and flies off pass the bushes and sees a white and pink Pokémon grabbing the Poké Puff and eats it and enjoys it.

Following Ash and Eli's second Kalos Gym battle win in Cyllage City our heroes are enjoying Serena's fresh baked Poké Puffs; now, they seem to have company.

the Pokémon's eyes light up in blue light and the Poke Puff flew out of Ash's hand and lands on the Pokémon and eats it happily much for Ash's disappointment as he pulls out his Pokédex.

"Slurpuff, The Meringue Pokémon; Slurpuff's keen sense of smell is especially sensitive much more than people."

Then a blue hair female walks up from behind Slurpuff "You see, Slurpuff thinks your Poké Puff tasted decent enough" she tells them which Serena frowns at that comment as Eli noticed this.

"Easy Serena" Eli whispers at the honey blonde female who ignore his warning.

"What does that mean? Who are you?" she questions.

"Serena" Eli warns again which again Serena ignores.

"I'm Miette, and this is my partner, Slurpuff" the girl answers.

Miette is a short young girl with fair skin, brown eyes, and short, yet layered dark blue hair that she secures with light blue maid-like headwear and an orange headband. She wears an elegant and fashionable outfit that consists of a teal shirt with long light blue sleeves, a sleeveless green overshirt with cyan squares on both sides, an orange tie, and cyan shorts with light blue lines. On her feet, she wears orange shoes and plain white socks that nearly reach her knees. For storage, she carries around an orange backpack with brown straps.

"My name's Ash, and this is my partner, Pikachu" Ash introduces himself.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu cries greeting the new girl.

Serena looks away from Miette "And I'm Serena" she says making Eli look at the Honey blonde nervously.

'Okay this is going to give me Ursula vs Dawn DeJa'Vu' he thinks to himself.

"Fennekin!" Fennekin cries.

"Clemont's my name" Clemont says.

"I'm Bonnie" Bonnie says waving at Miette.

"Gary" Gary adds.

"Umbreon!" Umbreon cries.

"And I'm Eli, that's Sylveon" Eli then introduces himself

"Sylveon!" Sylveon cries waving its feelers at the two.

Miette looks at Eli "As if the Eli the top-coordinator?" she questioned.

"You know me?" he asked.

Miette shakes her head "Not really, I only heard your name being mentioned by my little brother who is a big fan of yours" she explains.

Eli smiles "awe that's sweet, when you can tell him I said thanks for the support" he tells the female.

Miette nods "I'll make sure of that; he'll go insane if he finds out" she said before giggling.

Suddenly Ash, Pikachu, and Dedenne's stomach growls making Miette look at them apologetically "Since My Slurpuff ate some of your Poké Puffs, how would you like to try some of the best?" She questions.

Eli raises a brow "Yes, please! I want one" Ash then says raising his hand.

"Pika! Pika!" Pikachu cries.

"I do too!" Bonnie adds.

Serena crosses her arm "Thank you, but I'll pass" she says with a pout.

"Thanks for the offer, but I believe my friends have more hunger than I do" Eli says with a smile.

Miette then open her basket "Here you are. Enjoy" she says showing off her Poké Puffs.

"you guys enjoy the Poké Puff" Eli tells the others before looking down at Serena "Serena, a word?" Eli asked the honey female.

Serena looks at Eli confused as she gets up while both Eli and Serena walk off together with Sylveon and Fennekin following behind their trainers.

Eli then notices that they're both far distant enough from the others before looking at the Honey Blonde female "What the fuck was that?" Eli question.

Serena looks confused "what are you talking about?" she questions.

"Don't play dumb, you know what I'm talking, are you really going to let her "Decent" opinion get to your head, I thought you were smarter than that" Eli tells Serena while making quotation marks gesture with his fingers while saying the word decent.

"Eli, I understand your intention of talking to me, I really do, I... I just can't help it, okay?" Serena says "if only Maddie was here-" Serena mutter before gasping covering her mouth "Did I said that out loud!?" she questions herself.

Eli giggles "you did, and what's wrong with liking a girl?" he asks the Honey blonde.

"Everything! I haven't even come out to my mom that I'm a Lesbian" Serena confesses.

Eli smiles at Serena before hugging the female "you give me bi energy, from one queer person to another, I have your back even if your mom won't support you" he reassures the Honey blonde female.

Serena sighs and hugs the male back "Eli...can I tell you something?" Eli then let's go of Serena and nods "the last time we talked, just when you left, my thought was if you were a girl, that's when I realized that I'm attracted to girls" she confesses.

"So that's how you know you're gay" Eli says with a smile as Serena nods "You know if Maddie was here, she would be thrilled that you like girls" he tells her. 

Serena then looks at Eli confusingly "what do you mean?" she questions.

Eli waves her off "that's for me to know" he says before winking at her before realizing something "You know, Serena, Miette reminded me of someone I knew who had a self-proclaimed baking rivalry with me, which is kind of more like a one-side rivalry since I didn't consider them a rival because, I just love baking, I'm telling you this because... I believe that Miette sees you as a threat" Eli tells Serena.

Serena looks at him shocked "A threat?" she questions.

Eli nods as then Eli and Serena begin to walk back to where the others are "Yeah, probably because of the fact that you can also bake Poké Puff, if my theory is true, my advice for you is to not let her nor anyone words get to your head your own feelings and thoughts of your own baking should matter above everyone else's, don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with wanting to now what others think of your sweets, is like making music, you make them in base on you're expressing your feelings" he explains.

"He's not wrong you know" Both Eli and Serena stopped walking.

Eli smiles as he turns around "I was beginning to wonder when you'll come back" Eli says.

Serena slowly turns around and her eyes widen seeing Maddie and Whitley standing there smiling at the two.

"M-Maddie! W-Whitley!" Serena stated happily but she then looks confused I-I thought you were going back home after your business meeting in Cyllage City" Serena says out of shock.

Whitley chuckles "Well we were going back home, but..." Whitley explains.

-flash back-

Maddie and Whitley now walking out of Cyllage City to head to their hometown after they've done their part of family business favor.

"If I'm honest Whitley, I get the feeling that I'd seen that Cerise girl before and-" Maddie says before seeing her brother looking at Grant who's entering the Gym "Whitley!" she calls her brother.

Whitley snaps back to reality "you said something about Cerise being familiar, I get what you mean; she gives me a bad feeling, I'm still questioning father's choice of collaborations" he tells Maddie who nods; Maddie then looks sad "You missed them already, do you?" he asks his twin sister.

"Well, can you blame me? Ever since we met Eli and the others, I totally enjoyed their company, sure it was some unexpected twist and turns, but hey that's what makes it so exciting" she says "the fact that Eli's so oblivious when Ash, Gary, and Clemont are totally down bad for him, Bonnie being the literal child of the group" Maddie says giggling.

"And Serena being like the mom of the group" Whitley then added.

Maddie stops smiling and looks at the ground while they're still walking "Yeah...Serena" she mutters and smiles to herself thinking about the honey blonde.

Whitley looks surprise and realization "Maddie...are you perhaps Bisexual?" he asked.

Maddie looks at Whitley surprised "I-I don't know what you're talking about Whitley" She denies.

"Maddie you're my sister, and don't act like I haven't see you how you were looking at her, is clear that you're having feelings for her but you're questioning what are those feelings exactly, trust me I'm still questioning mine when I hung out with Grant, which Thank you for covering me when dad ask you for me when I went on a date with him" Whitley tells Maddie.

"Well, is no problem, and yeah i guess I am Bi you know I help our male Ace friend by pretending to be his girlfriend just to get out of his force marriage" Maddie says "with Serena on the other hand I've been feeling these feelings, I'd never think I would feel when I was with her comparing with the fake dates I was in" Maddie confesses.

Whitley nods to himself before pulling out his town map which is Similar to Serena's but is blue and black instead of Pink and takes Maddie by the wrist "Let's go Madeline!" he tells his twin.

Maddie startles at her brother's gesture "W-Wait where are we?" she questions as she noticed that they're walking to the opposite direction.

"Where do you think we're going, we're going to catch up with the others to Shalour City" Whitley responds.

-End of flash back-

"...and then here we are" Whitley finished explaining obviously didn't tell them about Maddie liking Serena since he believes that's his sister's thing to tell her how she feels.

"I see, Ash and the other will be so happy to see you guys, again" Eli said as the four of them walk back to where Ash and the others along with Miette who's still handing some of her Poké Puffs.

"For Pikachu, a spicy Tamato Berry-topped Poké Puff" Miette says as she gives Pikachu a red frosted covered Poké Puff to Pikachu "and a Sweet Oran Berry-topped Poké Puff for Dedenne" She then says as she hands a pink with bits of blue slices frosted Poké Puff to the Antenna Pokémon 

Both Pokémon take a bite out of their respectful Poképuffs and they seem to like them much to Serena's sadness.

"I want to try that!" Ash says before picking up a brown one and bite out of it

Miette panics seeing this "W-Wait! but that's-" she says before ducking down when she and Slurpuff sees fire coming out of Ash's mouth as if he's using the Flamethrower move.

"Hot!" Ash screams.

-little time skip-

After Ash cools down from the hot Poké Puff Ash groans "Aw, that didn't taste good, what was it" Ash questions.

Miette rest her hand on her hips "that was for Fire types! Poké Puff are made for Pokémon, so they're not all going to taste good to People" Miette scolds Ash.

"Like that one" the ravenette male mutters.

"All Poké Puffs are baked with Particular Pokémon in mind" Miette explains.

Serena frown "Hey, I make them like that, too" she says angrily much to both Maddie and Whitley surprised.

"Of course you can. That's Poké Puff basics. Poké Puff 101" Miette simply respond with no care of how offended Serena is which angers the honey blonde even more.

Serena gets closer to the blue hair girl "What's with the attitude!?" she questions.

Both Miette and Serena glare at each other as you can see a orange electrical spark in between their stare down.

"Did we miss something?" the twins questioned.

Gary then notices the twin "Oh Maddie, Whitley, what are you guys doing here?" he asks making Ash and Bonnie look at the twins.

"We just happened to be around the neighborhood" Whitley says.

"And we wanted to say hello" Maddie adds.

Clemont then gets inn between Serena and Miette trying to calm the two glaring eighteen-year-old girls "Calm down, you two. There's no reason to be mad" Clemont tells the girls who then turn away with a huff.

'I know is bad to think about this...but Serena mad is kinda hot' Maddie thought.

"Why not have a bakeoff!" Bonnie says as everyone look at the younger female who's looking at a holographic bulletin board.

"What was that, Bonnie?" Clemont questions his younger sister.

Bonnie then points at a poster "There's a Poké Puff Contest, the First Round's Today and the Final Round is tomorrow" Bonnie explains.

"Great Idea!" Ash says.

"Pika!" Pikachu agrees.

"I'd never heard of a Poké Puff Contest" Clemont says looking at the poster.

"Well for staying making inventions you barely knew anything outside of the scientific world" Gary jokingly commented making Clemont frown.

Eli sweat drop 'here we go again' he thinks.

"That's the reason I came here in the first place, I'm competing" Miette then says.

"We'll see who the better chef is!" Serena says making Miette smirk a Serena's angry expression.

Miette and Serena then have another sparking stare down Maddie takes Serena's hand making the Honey Blonde looks at the white hair female.

"I don't what she said to make you so work up but don't let it get the better of you" Maddie tells Serena.

Serena looks at Maddie and sigh and nod.

"I don't think we'd see before, I'm Miette" Miette introduces to Maddie with a smile pushing Serena away from the whitette.

"Madeline Snow, but everyone calls me Maddie" Maddie tells Miette.

Miette then hugs Maddie catching the white female by surprised while smirking teasingly at Serena making the honey blonde have a fiery red aura flowing around her boiling with rage.

-scene change-

Everyone's now in the Poké Puff Contest as Serena, Miette are competing there as Eli out of fun he decides to compete in one as well not much for everyone's surprised Serena and Miette were so focused to outbake each other to noticed Eli competing.

"Now, the preliminary round of the Poké Puff Contest is about to get underway; contestants will compete using their own original Poké Puff recipes" the host explains as the audience sees the competitors baking, but unknowingly to our heroes Team Rocket are also there but disguised as chefs also competing the Poké Puff Contest.

"I can hardly wait to see all the Poké Puffs" the announcers says.

Serena then pulls out some pink colored and freshly bake Poké Puffs base layers "Ta-da! The Poké Puff base layers are finished baking" Serena says to Fennekin which it was watching Serena.

"Ah. They're so fluffy" Bonnie says as she looks at Serena's stray with awe.

Ash leans back "I could eat them just like they are" Ash says.

Gary smirks "so you preferred Serena's over Eli's?" Gary teasingly asked.

Ash frowns at Gary "You and I both know that's not what I meant" Ash says which Gary whistles as if he didn't just said anything to tease Ash making the ravenette groan in annoyance.

Maddie and Whitley looked at each other and laugh.

Serena then grabs one of the small bowls with different colored frostings "Next step. Two kinds of delicious frosting" she says as she decorates the Poké puff with white frosting.

Fennekin takes a sniff and cries happily.

"These Frostings are my own original recipe and their delicious" Serena then says to herself before adding pink frosting over the white frosting everyone minus Eli were watching Serena with awe as she continues "The topping goes on last; A Great Baker has to have an eye for design" Serena then says placing a brown branch-shaped piece of chocolate on top of the Poké Puff.

"Fennekin!" Fennekin wags its tail.

"Ta-da! A Poké Puff topped with a small twig for Fennekin!" Serena then states.

Miette sees this and smirks "I'll wipe the floor with her" she says to herself.

Eli also looks at Serena and smile "Serena's really in her A game, now; forgive me Serena, but I'm not planning on losing" Eli says as he continues on baking With Sylveon helping him out.

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen we're now halfway through the preliminary round's allotted time, and all our contestants are feverishly baking away" the host announces as.

Eli finishes the detail, and he shows off a Poké Puff that is a white colored base layer with blue frosting and a swirl mix color of white and Pink and a pink edible bow that looks like Sylveon's made out of white chocolate.

Bonnie sees Eli's Poké Puffs "wow, Eli's Poké Puffs looks so cute!" Bonnie says making the others look at Eli's Poké Puffs.

Whitley looks at the blue hair male impressed "I didn't think that he would manage to bake them in such short time, they look delicious" he says.

Clemont, Gary, and Ash were literally drooling of wanting to taste Eli's baking which made Bonnie and the twins laugh their asses off.

"I'm seeing an amazing array of Poké Puffs; there's a lot of skill on display this year" the announcer says before turning towards Team Rocket's station that sees a big smoke meaning that they accidentally burn their Puffs "of course, there's always an exception or two" he adds.

Jessie coughs out some smoke before she sighs disappointedly along with James and Meowth.

-scene change-

"It's time to announce the contestants who will be moving on to our final round" the man announces as a woman walking up the stage "Joining us is Gena, world class Poké Puff Pâtissier and our Poké Puff Contest head judge" the announcer explains introducing the woman who now turns to the audience and bows while the crowd applauded at her.

"Hidden inside these Poké Puff is one thing, the hope that it will bring the hearts of people and Pokémon closer like ever before" Gena states, "An exquisite Poké Puff is certain to make the bond between Trainer and Pokémon even stronger" she says.

Bonnie looks at Gena for a moment but nods to herself "she's nice, but I still preferring Eli over her" she says.

Miette looks at the younger girl confusingly "Huh what do you mean Bonnie?" she asked.

"Well, I'm hoping that someday I could find someone to take care of my brother, but that changed when we met Eli" Bonnie explain "I couldn't ask for a better future brother-in-law than Eli!" she states making Clemont cover her mouth, and he runs off embarrassingly with Bonnie.

then a idea came in Miette's mind "Take care of her brother, huh?" Miette says before moving herself to sit next to Maddie much to Serena's dislike "Hey Maddie, do you already have someone to take care of you?" she asks the white hair female.

Maddie tilts her head "and if you're referring to the question if I have a partner, I had one before" she answers much to both Serena and Miette Surprise. 

"What was he like?" Miette asks despite Serena's jealousy she's also curious about Maddie's previous partner.

"Well, is not like we're in a committed relationship, more like is a relationship cry for help, you see my well you can say Ex-boyfriend isn't attracted to female, but his parent doesn't know that his parents were forcing him into an arranged marriage since he doesn't want that, so he asked me to pretend to be his girlfriend just to save him out the forced marriage" Maddie explains.

"Oh, I see, so you guys faked your relationship" Miette said.

"Yeah, and the poor guy almost vomit when we have to pretend that we were kissing by making our faces way get too close to seem convincing" Maddie adds.

Miette narrows her eyes on Serena who looks back at her before she scoffs looking away.

"I'm going to Announce the three contestants who will move on to the final round.

"Only three of them? Wow" Whitley says looking serious.

Gary looks at Serena "even you didn't make it, you gave your heart in it" he tells Serena which Serena looks at the brunette with a grateful smile.

"Our First Contestant is, Miette" Gena says.

Miette gets up "No surprise" she says before getting up and walking up to the stage.

"Next" Gena looks at the name and pauses for a moment "Eli Hado" she mutters finding the last name familiar for her before snapping back to reality "E-Eli!" Gena announces without saying the last name.

Eli gets up and hold Serena's hand "If you're the third contestant, I'll avenge you" he tells Serena.

The Honey Blonde smiles at Eli "Thanks, Eli" she says as the blue hair male walks up the stage with the Intertwining Pokémon following behind.

"Finally...Serena" Serena's eyes widen with shock hearing her name being called.

Eli smiles brightly at Serena 'Let's fucking go!' he cheered internally as he sees Serena and Fennekin walking up the stage.

Gena looks at Eli 'he looks just like him' she thinks before looking forward "Our finalist are to come up with a new original Poké Puff recipe by tomorrow's round" Gena explains as both Serena and Miette narrow eyes at each other while Eli remained calm "they'll also need to start gathering up the ingredients they'll be using" the head judge continues as Miette and Serena glare at each other with their arms crossed.

"That's it! On to the finals!" the announcer says as the crowd applauded.

-scene change-

Eli with Maddie, Whitley and Gary were looking around for berries but unfortunately for him they were sold out he has a bad feeling.

"no berries, something's not right" Eli mutters.

"Yeah, I'm guessing some sore loser must been sabotaging the competition" Maddie guesses.

then suddenly the four of them hear someone shouting.

"Is this your fault!?"

"Why would I do such a thing!?"

Gary recognizes the voices "Those sound like Serena and Miette" he states as the four of them then run towards the sound of the voices.

Eli the others sees Miette glaring at each other while Clemont was crouching down in fear.

"Hey guys!" Eli calls gaining everyone else's attention.

"By the looks of it, this place doesn't have berries either, looks like we're going to do this the old fashion way" Maddie looks around.

Serena looks at Maddie confusingly "what do you mean?" She asked.

Bonnie realizes "she means that maybe the forest has berries" Bonnie points out making both Serena and Miette look at the younger female really not having that thought in mind.

Ash nods "Good Idea. let's all go to the forest and look" Ash says.

Eli nod "Yeah, let's go look" he says to him with a close eyes smile making Ash blush.

Miette sees this and realizes and laughs.

"And why are you laughing?" Serena asked the blue hair female.

Miette shakes her head "nothing is just seeing their dynamic reminds me a bit of my uncle according to my aunt he was completely oblivious with her feelings until their senior year" she explains.

Serena looks surprised "well that's you don't hear every day" Serena honestly says.

Miette shrug "I thought it be a good idea to point that out; besides is fine, I'm sure he isn't that much of that caring when it come to someone talking about him" she says.

-meanwhile somewhere in Kalos-

"Achoo!" a adult blonde adult male sneezed during a photoshoot "sorry" he apologizes.

"How you sneezed we literally got every feather away from the set" a photographer stated with shock.

The man waves the Photographer off "is not that, I'm pretty sure My niece is talking to someone about me" he says.

A woman who we assume is the man's wife "Again?" she asked while a Ledian and a sleeping Meowth watches the scene with a sweat drop.

-back with our heroes-

Our heroes arrived to the forest and they see a lot of chopped down trees much to everyone's surprised.

"I don't see any" Ash says.

"But how can that be?" Serena questions.

Eli sighs "I'd said it before and I'll say it again, someone must be a sore loser and sabotage the contest by stealing all the berries in the shop and the forest" Eli tells the others "And I'm for sure this has Jessie from Team Rocket written all over it" he mutters that last part without noticing that Serena ran off.

Maddie sees this "Serena wait!" Maddie calls the Honey blonde following her.

When Maddie catches up with Serena, she hears Serena screaming as she sees angry floating Pokémon who resembles cotton candy.

"These are Swirlix" Maddie says as Serena pulls out her Pokédex.

"Swirlix, the Cotton Candy Pokémon. Swirlix only eats sweets, making its fur as sticky as cotton candy."

"As I remember, Swirlix can evolve into Slurpuff" Maddie adds "And I believe they're angry at us because they're assuming that we're the cause of he stolen berries" Maddie concludes.

"Swirlix, you must believe us we didn't stole your berries we were looking for the culprit like you are" Serena tries to tell the Swirlix.

The angry Cotton Candy Pokémon seems to not by any of this and they charge at the two girls.

"Get down!" Maddie tackles Serena down as the Swirlix flew pass them.

"Swirlix stop! We're not the berry thieves the real thieves must be somewhere in this forest if we work together, we can find the source of who really caused them, can you do that? please" Maddie plead the Cotton Candy Pokémon.

The Swirlix look at each other for a few seconds and then look back at the female and nod making Maddie smile.

"Thank yo so much, Swirlix!" Maddie thanked the wild Cotton Candy Pokémon with a bow.

One of the Swirlix flies around Maddie and making head gestures to follow it.

Maddie then looks at Serena "Serena, I think the Swirlix want us to follow them" she tells Serena.

"Are you sure?" Serena hesitantly asked.

Maddie nods "Positive, Swirlix are normally harmless, come on!" she said before running ahead.

Serena looks at Maddie running off "She's super awesome" Serena dreamingly says to herself before following the full on white colored female with Fennekin following behind.

The two girls continue on running until they reached to a cliff as they both see the Swirlix flying over.

Maddie pulls out her Poké ball "Froslass, I need you!" she calls her Pokémon out of its Poké ball.

"Froslass!" The Pokémon cried.

"Froslass I need you use Psychic to lift us up to the top of this cliff" Maddie tells her Ice and Ghost type Pokémon.

Frostlass nods before its eyes glow blue as both Serena who's carrying her Fennekin and Maddie were lift up from the ground and were carried to the top of the Cliff with Froslass flying behind them.

"Great work, thanks Froslass" Maddie thanked the Snow Land Pokémon

"Fros!" Froslass cried happily.

they look over and they see a bunch of berries much for the girl's awe; Maddie then noticed the Swirlix from before crying for her to follow but panics so instead it flies towards her out of fear and hid behind the white hair female.

Maddie looks at the Cotton Candy Pokémon "What's wrong Swirlix?" she asks.

Serena point over the trees "Maddie, look!" Serena shouts.

Maddie and Serena look over and sees a red Robot which it resembled a Octillery coming through the berry trees causing some of them to fall down.

Maddie and Serena frown seeing the familiar R Symbol "How I'm not surprised?" Maddie questioned.

"Prepare for trouble, who else would it be?"

"And make it double, the same goes for me!"

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all people within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of bad cuisine!"

"To extend our reach to the big berry scene!"

"Jessie!"

"And James!"

"Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare for a frantic food fight!"

"Meowth, that's right!"

"Wobbuffet!"

"We're taking over the berry business, it's all ours as far as the can see" Jessie tells the two twerpettes.

James then joins "Which means, your twerpish baking days are over" he says.

"And while we're at it, we'll grab all of your Pokémon and leave you with a big windbag full of air!" Meowth adds.

Maddie sighs "I guess we need to start to get used to this by now" Maddie then says crossing her arms really unimpressed.

those word angered Team Rocket "Show them a thing or three!" Jessie stated.

"Leave it to me! Check out my Robo Baby Buggy Berry-Robbing Swipe the Sweet and Make Our Own Treat Octillery Mark Three!" Meowth says.

Serena sweat drops "Why I feel like that would be a name that Clemont would come up with?" she questions.

Maddie realizes and sweat drops as well "Now that you mentioned it, I agree" she replies.

"On the Pokémon side of thing We'll grab your Pokémon first" Meowth said.

"Serena, Maddie" the girls look back and see Ash and the others catching up to them.

Meowth activated the Machine as Pikachu gets sucked into the machine "Bring it up to ten!" he shouted as the Swirlix gets sucked to the machine as well

Maddie catches the Swirlix that's close to her "I got you!" she tells Swirlix who looks at Maddie with awe.

then a idea came to the white hair female's mind and goes to Serena "Serena hold Swirlix!" Maddie tells Serena.

Serena then holds on to the Cotton Candy Pokémon "What are you going to do?" Serena asked.

Maddie looks at Team Rocker and looks over at the Snow Land Pokémon "Froslass on my mark use Psychic to get Pikachu and the Swirlix out of that machine" Maddie tells her Pokémon who nod at her.

"Fros!" Froslass cries having full trust on its trainer.

"If you want our Pokémon that badly, then you're not going to love how we're going to give them to you" Maddie yells at the trio before running towards Team Rocket.

"Stop the Twerpette and her tracks!" Jessie tells Meowth.

"We're really cleaning up!" Meowth states.

"I won't let you!" Maddie says as she jumps and tries to seal the vacuum with her own body surprising everyone present.

"Maddie!" everyone call the white hair female.

"What are you, nuts?" Meowth questioned the female in front of them before increasing the power.

Maddie grunts not noticing that her outfit's beginning to rip which is the less of her worries. 

"I promise I'll get you guys out of there!" Maddie tells the Pokémon on the vacuum.

"Maddie, no" Serena says looking at her friend with worry.

"Swirl" the Swirlix in Serena's arms cry with worry as well.

"Oh, wow, Maddie is so brave" Miette commented.

"Careful, Mads!" Whitley warns his twin sister.

"You can Do it, Maddie!" Bonnie cheered but with a worried face.

the Kantonian trio look at the scene worried before Eli notices smoke coming out of the engine.

Eli's eyes widen "Whatever Maddie planned worked!" Eli points out making everyone look at the smoke as the vacuum stops sucking air and Pikachu and the Swirlix falls down.

"Now's your chance get out of there!" Ash tells the Pokémon inside the Vacuum but they're all to dizzy to move.

Maddie looks at Froslass "Froslass!" she calls her Snow Land Pokémon who nod and use Psychic to float them out.

Miette realizes "Slurpuff, help Froslass with your Psychic!" she tells the Meringue Pokémon who nod and both Froslass and Slurpuff use Psychic to remove the container from the machine much for Team Rocket's surprise not noticing their machine beginning to overheat.

"Then engine overheated that stopped the machine!" Clemont stated.

Gary nod "which mean we should attack now!" he added.

"Fennekin, Flamethrower, go!" Serena tells her Pokémon who released a stream of flames from its mouth at the machine.

The machine begins to act crazy shaking the white hair female in the process.

"This could be a little problem" Meowth said.

"Little? We're going to explode!" James stated the obvious.

Jessie then looks at the Talking Pokémon "Cut the small talk and do something!" Jessie yells.

"Switching to Exhaust!" Meowth says as Maddie gets send flying making her scream as the machine pushes out the air that it's been sucking up.

"Maddie!" Serena and Miette called the female.

Swirlix flies out of Serena's arms and shoots a String Shot out of its mouth catching Maddie preventing her from falling harshly to the ground.

"Pika, Pi!" Pikachu cries as the mouse Pokémon and the Swirlix came out of the container with the help of Eli and Gary

Ash looks relieved at seeing his Pokémon's okay.

Maddie looks at the Swirlix with a grateful look "thank you for the assist Swirlix!" she thanked the Cotton Candy Pokémon who cries happily and greets its rescued friends then another idea came in mind "Everyone, I have another idea, and don't worry it won't be that risky like before" she says reassuring the group just to prevent them from getting worried again.

Everyone nods as Maddie then looks at Swirlix "Swirlix, can you and your friend help us by immobilizing team Rocket's machine with your String Shot?" she asked the Wild Cotton Candy Pokémon who they all nodded at the white hair female; Maddie then smiles "Perfect! Then use String Shot!" Maddie shouts pointing at Team Rocket.

The Swirlix who rescue Maddie lead the other Swirlix towards Team Rocket and they all use String shoot to immobilize Team Rocket's Octillery resembled machine.

"Ash, Eli, Serena, Gary, Miette!" the mentioned look at Maddie who call them "I'm going to need your help as well; let's combine our Pokémon strongest attack into one even powerful one" Maddie tells them.

Ash nods "I'm with you!" he tells the white hair female.

"You got it, Maddie!" Serena agrees.

Miette nodded "Count us in!" stated determinedly.

Gary also nods "We're ready when you are" he tells the white hair female.

"Lead the the way!" Eli added.

Froslass flies forward with Slurpuff, Fennekin, Pikachu, Umbreon, and Sylveon following behind the Snow Land Pokémon.

"Umbreon, use Shadow Ball!"

"Fennekin, use Flamethrower!"

"Pikachu, Use Thunderbolt!"

"Sylveon, use Moonblast!"

"Slurpuff, use Energy Ball!"

"Froslass, use Ice Beam!"

All the attacks combine to form a white beam of light and made contact with Team Rocket's machine creating an explosion as the trio then blast off.

"I still bake the best!" Jessie states angrily

"We're all cooked" James mutters with disappointment.

"Time to cool off" Meowth add with the same tone as James.

"There's nothing sweet about blasting off" the trio says.

"Wobbuffet" Wobbuffet cries in defeat

"And we're doing-"

"It-"

"Again!"

"Wobbuffet!"

Everyone sighs with relief and cheer Serena goes to hug Maddie but stops and her face turns completely red.

Maddie looks at Serena confusedly before looking down and notices that the top of her dress was ripped only leaving the sleeve and he blue Bikini top and turns red and screams and hugs herself.

'How come I did not notice this until now!?' She questions herself while crocodile tears rolls down her face.

Serena covers her nose 'Arceus they're so squeezable' Serena think referring to the white female's breast.

-time skip-

Is the next day and now they're going to announce the winner of the Poké Puff Contest.

Eli leans to both Serena and Miette "Girls, I just want to let you know that is nothing personal, I just love baking as much as you two love it, and I have a lot of fun" he tells them whispering.

Miette nod "same here, I'd never had this much fun in a while" she whispers back.

"May the best baker wins" Serena then says making Miette and Eli nod at the Honey Blonde

"And Now, we'll announce the winner of our fabulous Poké Puff Contest" the MC announces "Presenting our head judge, Gena. Take it away!" the MC says.

Gena then walks up to the mic stand "Using Passho Berry for her Poké Puff Topping, Serena has created a delight with flavor and a hint of heat" Gena continues as Serena and Fennekin were looking at the Poké Puff nervously "Fire Type are sure to love her Poké Puff" Gena then says with a sweet smile on her face.

"Miette's Poké Puff is made with cotton Candy and whipped cream and topped with a Tamato Berry; both Electric-type and Fairy-type Pokémon are certain to love this presentation" Gena then explains.

"And finally, Eli's Poké Puff well balanced of sweet and spice that all Pokémon of every type would enjoy, and that every mother of the world would consider him a competition, cooking wise" Gena states.

'I don't disagree on that' Ash and the others thought since they've tasted Eli's baking before.

"And now the winner is..." The Mc says,

"I'm Happy to announce... Eli wins it!" Gena says surprising the blue hair male and the Intertwining Pokémon.

Serena smile cheerfully for Eli "Eli, you won!" Serena cheered

Miette smiles as well "Congratulations, Eli" Miette congratulated her fellow blue head.

"Oh wow!" Eli says out of shock before Sylveon jumps on its trainer.

-scene change-

The Contest came to a end and now Eli's facing Gena who's holding on a brown colored journal.

"Why you wanted to see me, Miss Gena?" Eli asked.

Gena smiled "I want to know something, are you perhaps related to Eugine Hado?" Gena asked.

Eli's eyes widen with shock hearing the name "Y-Yeah, he's my dad, how you know him?" he then asks curiously.

"Well..." Gena looks at the journal in hand "this journal once belong to Eugine, he was my senior in the culinary school I used to attend, everyone admired him, males, females, non-binaries, he was a role model to all of us, one day I was struggling among my classmates and I was lucky to have crossed paths with Eugine, and he was nice enough to help me, and we became friend the more we'd spent learning together the more I enjoyed his company it was almost like he's a big brother I didn't knew I had when his graduation was right on the corner, I was sad that he have to leave to live back in his home region, the Sinnoh Region, and he gave me his journal, so that if there's anything that I need to make or any doubt I would have this journal to help me, everything that I learned is in here  and it's written by your father and when I found out about his passing, I was devastated and I made a bow to myself that one day, I'll return the journal to him for how grateful I am for everything Eugine Hado had taught me over the years" Gena explains before handing Eli the brown journal "Here, Eli, I won't need it anymore, now that I made a named for myself because of Eugine's recipes it motivated me to make my version of the sweets I'd learned to bake.

Eli takes his once father's journal and smiles at Gena "Thank You, miss Gena" he says.

"Sylveon!" Sylveon cry next to its trainer

Gena shakes her head "thank you, for letting me know that Eugine's legacy won't die by knowing yours and Nejire's existence" she tells the blue hair male.

"You knew my sister?" Eli asks with shock.

Gena giggles "of course she was the previous Kalos Queen, before Aria beat her for the crown" she explains.

"I see" Eli mutters before looking at his father journal with a smile. 

"Until we meet again" Gena then says as she leaves the blue hair male.

-meanwhile-

"Even that Eli won, I still feel sorry that both Serena and Miette lost" Bonnie says.

"There's always next time" Clemont tells Bonnie.

Whitley nods "he's right after all they gave the competition everything they got" Whitley then says

from a distance from Miette and Serena were having a talk with Slurpuff and Fennekin next to their respective trainers.

"So where are you going from here?" Serena asked Miette.

"I'm headed anywhere that helps me make better Poké Puffs" Miette answer

"Next time I see you, My Poké Puffs will be even tastier" Serena then state.

Miette nods "Mine, too" she replies before both her and Serena shake hands.

"Maybe this was all for the best" Clemont says as Eli walks up to the others who were watching the girls interact.

"Yeah" Ash agrees.

"Pikachu" Pikachu nods.

Gary then sees Eli with his father's journal "Eli what you got there?" he asked.

Eli looks up at Gary with teary eyes which concerns the three guys who had a crush on him "don't worry about the tears, they're tears of joy" Eli says as Sylveon uses its feelers to wipe off the tears "And to answer your question, Gary, this was my dad's baking journal apparently my dad went to Culinary school here at Kalos and miss Gena was his junior" he then says before looking back at the journal "just having this in my hands make me feel closer to him" he confesses.

Ash and Gary knew how much Eli loves his father, though he is no longer with them, Eugine meant a lot to the blue hair male.

Maddie then walks up to the group wearing a new set of clothes instead of her signature white dress she wears a white tank top with a blue shorts sleeve jacket over it and wearing darker shade of blue shorts and gray socks and light blue shoes.

"Hey Serena, gotta go!" Ash calls the Honey Blonde

Miette and Serena look over they see the white hair Female making Serena look at her with awe.

Serena then looks at Miette "Take care" Serena then says before Miette stops her.

"One thing" Miette says making Serena look at the blue hair girl confusedly Miette leans to Serena's ear "Either you claim her breast yours or I will" those word made Serena blush catching her by surprise "don't say I didn't warn you" she say teasingly making Serena blush out of embarrassment and sighs calmly and walks back to our heroes.

Serena and Fennekin catch up to the others.

"Uh...guys, we want to know something" Maddie says to the others

Whitley blushes embarrassedly "c-can we...travel with you guys quite longer?" he asked.

Ash smiles "I was waiting for you two to ask that!" Ash says.

Bonnie hugs twins "Yay, I'm so happy!"

Serena smiles even brighter "Yes!" she cheered hugging Maddie but remembers the ripped dress incident.

"I you don't claim her breast yours or I will" Miette's words echoed her mind making her face redder which confused Maddie.

Poké Puffs makes everyone happy not to mention bring together people with a love for baking; now, our heroes back together are off to Shalour City once again as the journey continues.

"Swirl!" Maddie looks overs and sees a familiar Swirlix flying towards her.

"Oh, Hi Swirlix, what are you doing here?"

Swirlix flies around Maddie and cries at her.

Whitley seems to realize "Maddie, looks like this Swirlix want to come with you" he tells his twin sister.

Maddie looks at her brother with shock before looking back at Fairy-type Pokémon "you want to come with me, Swirlix?" she asked which the Cotton Candy Pokémon nod at her making Maddie smile and pulls out a Poké ball "glad to have you on board, go Poké Ball!" Maddie says before throwing her Poké ball Swirlix gets sucked into the Pokéball and it wiggles three times before dings much for everyone joy.

Maddie then picks up her Pokéball "I'm happy to have you" Maddie says before posing with her Poké ball "Swirlix!" Maddie states as Froslass cries of cheer with its trainers.

Now our heroes' journey to Shalour City continues, for real this time.
