Author's note:

So, it's been a while since I made a chapter that does not involve the following of the Pokémon XY Anime Series, so I made this chapter just to appreciate how much this fic has grown and I was planning to make this on the actual Birthday month of my OC's birthday(July incase you're wondering) which I realized that I forgot to do it last but at the same time I couldn't find the direction at the time and plus it's the same birthday month as mine if you go to the Introducing Update that's in the beginning; I appreciate every single person who had only read, or vote, or Commenting you made my days special knowing that you're enjoying the stories I made.

To those who are reading my Digimon stories NO they're not discontinued nor on hold, I'm still looking for directions that I can go involving my ocs, and spoilers once you're reading this chapter, I might be working on the Digimon Frontier Fic named: THE Earth Warrior as we speak so stay tuned for that, and with that out of the way enjoy this chapter, bye!

Third Person's POV

Most of our heroes are gathered outside of the Pokémon Center still at Ambrette town still waiting for the others to come out aka Eli and Maddie.

"Professor Oak said that he would take good Care of Eli's Vivillon since he already have six Pokémon" Gary says "so I told Gramps that If I could leave my Vivillon here as well so that Eli's doesn't have to feel lonely, which both Eli and gramps are both okay with the idea" he then explains.

Ash smiles "those two really seem to be inseparable" he tells Gary which the young researcher in training agrees.

"Well as we should be ready to continue our way to our next destination" Serena says as she looks at her map looking for a faster route to head to Cyllage city where Ash and Eli will have their next Gym battle and where Grant would be expecting them.

then they hear singing they look over and see Sylveon making a flower crown with its feelers while singing a familiar melody with Gardevoir helping it making a white and light blue flower crown along with Flabébé, and Marill who are dancing around them while Dragonair and Braixen were just standing there watching them; Pikachu and Umbreon were in awe with Sylveon's singing that they blush at the sight of how excited it was.

"Sylveon and the others sure look happy" Ash says looking at Eli's Pokémon.

"They're so cute!" Bonnie states looking at the Pokémon adorably.

Gary tilts his head "that song that Sylveon's singing sounds familiar" he mutters.

"Yeah, and is like Sylveon's singing happy birthday to someone" Whitley then says.

Ash's eyes widen with shock before looking at Gary who looks back at Ash with the same expression.

Clemont notices this "Are you two alright? you both seemed like you saw a ghost" he tells the two Kantonians.

"TODAY IS ELI'S BIRTHDAY AND WE FORGOT!!!!" Both Ash and Gary yelled in panic making Pikachu and Umbreon panic as well.

"TODAY!?" the others questioned.

-meanwhile-

In Eli's room groans while waking up and sits up and looks at a weird package which he doesn't remember seeing this here in the room.

"What's this doing here?" he questions before walking up to the package and opens it and his eyes widen out of surprised to see a portrait of him with bottle caps "wow!" he states out of awe before seeing three four different notes.

Eli opens the first note:

"Dear Eli,

I hope you like the gift I made for you, I knew it was your birthday from the net and magazines talking about your likes and dislikes; I knew that you like seeing people enjoying the things they like so I made a portrait out some of my bottlecap collection while thinking of you, I know that sounded cheesy, but is the best thing I could come up, but to be real, Thanks for that hanging out together, I really enjoyed, Happy Birthday

Signed, James"

Eli giggles and smiles at the Portrait "thanks, James, I'll treasure it" he says to himself before opening the next note:

"Dear Twerp

I know is your birthday and don't get the wrong Idea we're still planning on taking your Pokémon to the boss; but to be honest with you, I appreciate that you covered us so we can escape, for that you got my respect, and out of all of you twerps, you're the most tolerable out of all, if you snitch on me about respecting you, we're going to have a problem, and as former Coordinator myself, maybe someday we could have a Contest battle, just because I haven't compete in a Pokémon Contest doesn't me that I'll get rusty, so don't take me easy when that day comes, also Happy Birthday, and thank you for being alive.

From yours truly, Jessie"

Eli laughs nervously before opening the third note:

"Cuter Blue hair Twerp

I didn't get to tell you this the last time we worked together, but thank you for helping the Jessie and James from Malamar's control, and Sylveon is a awesome Pokémon I wish I could get to know it more, but I'm missing the point, I want to wish you a happy birthday!

"Happy Birthday!" In Wobbuffet language

From Meowth and Wobbuffet"

Eli giggles again at the fact that even Wobbuffet got involve in the note and he then opens the fourth and Final note:

"Eli,

Happy Birthday! And we won't forget what you did for us yesterday!

Eli looks at the notes with a smile he wouldn't thought that the first who would congratulate on his birthday was Team Rocket "Thank you Team Rocket" he says before placing the portrait on the bed.

Eli then hears the door opening and Sylveon run in the room with the flower crown with his other Pokémon following behind him.

"Sylveon!" Sylveon cries as it jumps on Eli's lap and puts the Flower crown on the blue hair birthday boy's head.

Eli laughs "Thanks Sylveon!" he thanked the intertwining Pokémon.

"So ready on a new adventure?" Eli ask them.

the Pokémon cry happily and Eli returned all of them back to their Pokéballs and get up to get ready.

-scene change-

Eli's facing a phone booth and nervously dials his home number, and it rings and then a familiar older female appears on the screen.

"Oh Eli, I'm surprised you called you normally don't do this specially on your birthday" Marina Eli's mother says surprisingly to her son.

Eli smiles before tearing up and looks down "I know I should be happy is just...I'd missed you mom, I missed Nejire's jokes, I missed Sam's teasing me, I couldn't help but wanting to talk to you again, I miss you so much" Eli confesses while looking back at the woman on the screen with tears rolling down his cheeks.

Marina looks at her son with a sadness in her eyes "Oh, Eli, we'd missed you too, Both Nejire and Sam couldn't stop thinking about what you've been up to" she tells Eli "Hey at least your talking to me and is great" she adds.

Eli smiles while wiping his tears "I know mom, I missed you and I know is like the third time I said this but I really do I just want to see you and talk to you, Oh I'm meet up with Ash and Gary again"

Marina looks surprised "really?" she questions out of shock.

"Crazy, right? I planned on reunite with them, and about the whole fiasco I had with Gary years ago, I'm over it, the three of us needed the closure and we're now traveling together again and Also" Eli says before showing her the Bug Badge he got from Anthony "I got my first gym badge here in Kalos"

Marina smiles happily for him "that's amazing Eli, I'm so happy for you, and I'm sure your father would be so proud of the handsome young man you're becoming" she tells Eli before being interrupted.

"Marina, is that Eli!?" a familiar old man's voice is heard.

"Professor Oak!" Eli states as he sees Professor Oak walking up to the screen and smiles at Eli.

"Hello again Eli!" he greets the blue hair boy "Also happy birthday!" he tell the birthday boy

"Thanks gramps, how's everyone doing?" Eli then asks.

Oak smiles "they're doing good, also I think Ash's Infernape it's starting to have a liking on your Infernape" he tells the birthday boy.

"Oh really? I didn't expect that" Eli says.

Professor Oak shrugs "Me neither, but it is what it is" he tells Eli.

"That's awesome seeing you again, I'm going to meet up with the others speaking of meeting, Mom, Eevee Evolved" Eli then says looking at his mom while Picking Sylveon up.

"Sylveon!" Sylveon waves at Eli's mother who waves back at him.

"Hi Sylveon, I'm hoping that you're doing okay" she tells the intertwining Pokémon.

"Veon!" Sylveon cries happily.

Eli smiles at them "I wish I could come back to Kanto and celebrate my birthday with you all, but at least I have a chance to talk to you guys again" he says.

Marina and Professor Oak nod "I have to go back to the lab and check on the Pokémon" he tells Eli.

Eli nods "Hey Professor, I forgot to mention this, but I already faced my fear of Dragon Types" he added "I caught a Dragonair to prove it" he tells Professor Oak showing his Dragon Pokémon who howls happily at Eli.

"Oh baby, I'm thrilled that you're doing okay" Eli hears Marina telling the birthday boy.

Eli smiles "yeah, now I have to go, take care of yourselves"

Marina nod "you too, happy birthday sweetie" she tells Eli

"Thanks mom, I love you, and tell Tracey that I said hi" Eli then says before ending the call.

"I didn't know your birthday is today?" Eli hears Maddie's voice behind him.

Eli turns around "yeah, though I tend to forget, since I got a lot in mind" he explains.

Maddie sweat drops "I can see that" she responds.

Eli and Maddie walks out of the Pokémon Center assuming that Ash and the others were outside but they're not there which is odd since they normally wait outside when the other is getting ready.

"Where did they go?" Maddie questions.

Eli shrug "how should I know?" He asks back.

Maddie and Eli begin to walk around town and look for them and so far they haven't see them even Dragonair couldn't find them when they went to look for them meaning that they're out of town.

Maddie scoffs "I can't believe they left us!" She states with a pout.

"Well what can we expect, I mean we did left them in that abandoned mansion that one time, I believe I call it even" he says before walking to the exit of the Ambrette Town "come on I'm pretty sure that they would be on their way to Cyllage City, so they can't be that far" he tells Maddie while returning Dragonair back to its Poke ball.

Maddie sighs "I guess there's no choice, huh?" She then question before the two then walk off.

-time skip-

The two of our eight heroes had taken a stop at a route as Eli's having a training battle

"Marill use Bubble Beam!" Eli yells.

Marril releases a barrage of blue bubbles from it mouth firing at Flabébé.

"Flabébé counter it with Magical Leaf!"

Flabébé uses Magical Leaf as both attacks created a green and blue glittery explosion.

"Wow, I did not see that coming, if there were Pokémon Contest, we could be back-to-back Top Coordinator, but I'm already done that" he then says "Let's take a break okay?" he then tells his two smaller Pokémon who nod "I still to figure out on what to do with Grant's Rock Tomb" Eli then says to himself.

-meanwhile-

While Eli's training with his Pokémon Maddie sees a Fletchling flying towards her with a note on it's beak Maddie immediately knows that's Ash's Fletchling which she gladly takes the notes as it flew away.

Maddie opens the note and her eyebrows risen up a bit and nods "so that what are you're planning?" she says to herself.

Eli then walks up to Maddie "hey want anything to eat?" he asked.

Maddie shrugs "sure, why not?" she responds as Eli pulls out some cookies and hands out to Maddie which she gladly takes some and they both eat while their Pokémon were eating already made Pokémon food in bowls.

Suddenly Marill's ears twitched and looks around "Ma" Marill cries looking around confusingly.

Eli notices the Aqua Mouse Pokémon's reaction "what's wrong Marill?" he asks.

And then they all hear a odd sound of ruffling bushes and see a small white and grey Pokémon.

"Who's that Pokémon?" Eli questions.

Maddie gasped "It's a Espurr" Maddie state while Eli pulls out his Pokédex pointing it at Espurr.

"Espurr, the Restraint Pokémon. Espurr's Psychic energy can travel hundreds of feet, blasting everything around it."

"So this is a Espurr" Eli says and walks up to the Psychic type Pokémon and crouches down to it's level "Are you lost little buddy?" Eli asks.

Espurr looks up at Eli with concern that he'll hurt it but calms down when he sees Eli's smile, but the moment ruined when Espurr's tiny stomach growls making the Restraint Pokémon blush embarrassed.

Eli then giggles "are you hungry?" Eli says as he pulls out a macaroon from a basket "Here" Eli says before handing a orange macaroon to the Pokémon.

Espurr takes the macaroon and takes a small bite and its eyes light up with happiness.

"Espurr!" Espurr cries happily and continues on eating it.

Eli smiles at Espurr "I'm glad you like it" he gladly says to the Psychic type Pokémon.

"Purr!" Espurr cries happily as Sylveon runs up to Espurr.

"Sylveon" Sylveon lead Espurr to the other Pokémon who friendly welcomed the wild Pokémon which Espurr seems happy to feel the welcoming atmosphere from the other Pokémon.

Suddenly a Beartic, Ursaring, and Pangoro appear out of nowhere looking like they're the boss around here.

"Woah, what's a Ursaring, Pangoro, and Beartic doing here?" Eli question pointing the Pokédex at them.

"Ursaring, the Hibernator Pokémon. Ursaring searches for honey in the forest daily. To reach its food, it often snaps trees with its forelegs rather than climbing."

"Pangoro, the Daunting Pokémon and the evolved form of Pancham. Pangoro has an ornery personality. It holds a bamboo sprig in its mouth, which allows Pangoro to detect surrounding movements."

"Beartic, the Freezing Pokémon. Beartic's frozen breath can create fangs and claws made of ice. It lives in frigid northern areas."

Eli seems confused "but what does a Beartic doing in the forest like this one" he questions.

"Because that Beartic belong to me!" a familiar voice says and those are the same three trainer who were hunting down the Dragonair which the Dragon Type frowns at them when they realize who they see the Beartic trainer frowns "You again!?"

"I was gonna say the same thing about you!" Eli replies.

"where are you little boyfriends Fag" he asked.

"Aye yo!" Maddie looks at the three men with a angry frown.

"Don't worry Mads, it doesn't affect me like it normally was" Eli reassure the white-haired female before looking back at the trainers "to answer your question, they're wasting time on better thing than you, and I wouldn't need them to fight my battle, one thing for Certain is that I'm not someone worth to underestimate" Eli warns "what you want?" he ask.

"Easy capturing Espurr, because that little rodent, stole our food that we save for these guys, now they're hungry for revenge!" the Pangoro trainer explains Making Espurr hide behind Eli's feet.

"I'm sorry about your food being eaten, but what for sure that using force with three Pokémon fifteen times Espurr's size is too extreme" he tells the three trainers.

"It won't be too extreme if we do something about it Ursaring use Hyper beam!" the leader says as Ursaring use Hyper beam at Espurr.

"Protect!" Eli shouts Sylveon forward and pull up a pink barrier in front of Eli and protected everyone from the Hyper Beam.

"These idiots were actually attacking an unpreprared Pokémon, that just straight up playing dirty that Even Team Rocket would agree" Maddie tells Eli.

Eli nods "I know, if they want to fight then is a fight they'll get, I don't mind teaching them a lesson for a second time" he then says before picking up Espurr and looks at the Restraint Pokémon with a smile "this is Dangerous, Espurr I need you to be away from me for a bit okay? Dragonair will protect you, kay?" Eli then said to Espurr who nod at him understanding.

Eli puts Espurr down while now stands next to Dragonair while Marill and Flabébé stayed with the Restraint Pokémon.

"Braixen, Gardevoir, Sylveon with me!" Eli calls his other three Pokémon, which they stood in front of him "hope you three can't make the same mistake twice" he tells the three men.

"Pangoro use Dark Pulse" the first trainer shout.

Pangoro creates a ball of black and purple rings of energy in each hand. It then combines them and fires the circles as a beam of rings of energy at Eli's Pokémon.

"Dodge it!" Eli then says as his Pokémon jumped while the Dark Pulse hit the ground.

"Beartic use Icicle crash!" The second trainer yell.

Beartic takes in a deep breath and releases a wind with light blue sparkles from its mouth into the air. Then, small clumps of ice form in the wind and grow longer and larger, forming into sharp icicles. The icicles then rain down on Eli's Pokémon.

"Dodge them! Braixen if there any ice heading your way use Flamethrower to melt the Ice" He commands while Sylveon and Gardevoir dodges the Icicle crash.

Flabébé, Espurr and Marill look at the Pokémon dodging the attack with awe while Braixen use Flamethrower to melt the ice close to it.

Then out of nowhere three hyper beams hit all three Pokémon while they were distracted by Beartic's Ice type move.

Espurr look worried before it creates four wormholes then blasts of electrified psychic energy through the wormholes and in between the wormholes before it banish from sight.

Maddie looks at the sky confusingly "what was that?" She asks herself.

Eli looks over and see three Ursaring smirking at Eli 'I see so he used Beartic's Icicle crash so that my Pokémon gets distracted by it and then strike down a triple teamed Hyper Beam' he thinks.

"Braixen Fire Blast!" Eli shouts while Braixen gets up and jump to the air creating a Kanji word for fire shape fire blast at the three trainers he looks at both Gardevoir and Sylveon and nods at them who nod back and they begin to charge their Moonblast.

"Pangoro, Dark Pulse, let's go!"

"Beartic, use Ice Beam!"

"Ursaring, Focus Blast let's go!"

Ursaring puts its hands together in front of it and forms a light blue orb of energy in between them. It then raises its hands above its head and the orb grows as big as its own body. Ursaring then throws the orb at the Fire Blast Three moves merged into one strong orb light blue, purple and turquoise energy creating a smoke screen explosion with Braixen's Fire Blast.

"Now!" Eli shouts.

Both Sylveon and Gardevoir fire their Moonblast at the three Pokémon which they got some damages and Pangoro seems the most affected due to be part Dark type.

"They got hit!" Maddie cheer while the rest of the Pokémon cheered for Eli and the other Pokémon.

"Come on guys, don't let this faggot beat you" the leader says as Ursaring growls angrily while getting up.

"The battle isn't over Beartic!"

"Pangoro you better not let him win!"

The three bigger Pokémon were struggling to get up.

"Have a taste of your own medicine, Braixen, Flamethrower! Gardevoir, Shadow Ball!, Sylveon Giga Impact!" Eli shouts.

Sylveon surrounds itself with pink energy and charges as Gardevoir create a shadowy blob from it hands and throws it forward and Braixen points its wand stick at the opponent and forms a red-orange flame at its tip and releases a red-orange stream of fire from the tip of its wand at the opposing Pokémon.

"Gardevoir Merge them all with Psychic!" Eli commands.

The embrace Pokémon eyes light up in blue light as the Shadow Ball and Flamethrower were moved in front of Sylveon who continues charging and runs throught the Flamethrower and Shadow Ball creating glittery red and purple dusts rotating around Sylveon in a X formation; Sylveon crash with the bigger Pokémon making a pink colored explosion, everyone cover their mouth from the dark pink smoke until they see Sylveon standing on top three fainted bear-like Pokémon.

"Veon!" Sylveon cry cheerfully before running towards Eli.

Sylveon jumps to its trainers arms while Eli hugs Sylveon "you did it again, Sylveon" he tells the intertwining Pokémon.

Eli then head pats both Gardevoir and Braixen "you guys were amazing too, thank you Gardevoir, and Braixen" he tells his Pokémon.

"Brai!/Voir!" The Shiny Fire Fox and Embrace Pokémon cry happily.

"Yes! They did it!" Maddie cheer while the other Pokémon cry in cheer.

Espurr cry in cheer "this isn't over yet Fag!" The leader yell while he and the other two trainer pull out their Poké balls.

Suddenly the wormholes from earlier appear around the the trainers, barraging the target with the blasts of electrified psychic energy sending them blast off to the skies.

"We won't forget this!" The three trainers shouts while their Pokémon cried in pain while they fly off to their no longer in sight.

Everyone were confused what just happened as Espurr's eyes lit up with blue light and it's body gets outlined by a blue light and floats towards Eli and the blue hair male catches it.

"Was that your doing, Espurr?" Eli questions the Restraint Pokémon.

"Purr!" Espurr cried happily.

"Espurr used future sight" Maddie states while the two sees the Psychic snuggling on Eli's chest.

Espurr uses Psychic and a Poke ball flies out of Eli's bag and Espurr touches the Poke ball and the Restraint Pokémon gets sucked in and the Poke ball wiggles three times then it dings leaving both Eli and Maddie dumbfounded.

Maddie then giggles "Eli the Pokémon magnet" she teases the blue hair male as Eli sees the Poke ball grown smaller.

"Hey Eli, isn't like the sixth Pokémon you've captured?" the white hair female questioned her blue hair friend.

Eli realizes "I do, looks like I have a long story to tell the others when we see them again" he tells Maddie.

"you have no idea" she responds.

-time skip-

Eli and Maddie were going to back to Ambrette Town since is getting dark.

Maddie thought it was a good Idea to take Eli to the Pokémon Center in the middle of the night blindfolded.

"Maddie, where are you taking me, I know you said to Ambrette Town, but which part?" Eli questions.

Maddie "You'll see" the white hair Female responds while guiding Eli.

Maddie then Places Eli to stop "Take off the blindfold when I tell you to, okay?" she tells Eli which he nervously nods, and Maddie then goes and leaves and joins Ash and the others who are holding confetti cannons even Eli's own Pokémon are holding at least one as Maddie takes one for herself Maddie then turns back to Eli "you can take it off now!" she tells Eli.

Eli slowly takes off the blindfold and once he opens his eyes the rest of our heroes fires the confetti "Surprise!" Eli eyes widen when he sees his friend standing with party hats Serena runs up to Eli and puts the party hat on his head too much to his surprise.

"Happy Birthday Eli!" Serena stated happily for the blue hair boy.

Eli slowly smiles "w-when did you guys?"

"Well..." Bonnie says longing the word well.

-flash back-

"How come Eli didn't tell us it was his birthday?" Serena asked.

Gary shrugs "Well, one; you didn't ask, and two he tends to forget his own birthday until someone reminds him to" he explains.

"I guess Eli's used to not celebrate his birthday since he's been traveling solo for seven-ish years" Ash adds.

"Hey! we need to do a best birthday party; he would never forget!" Bonnie then states.

The others agree "I'll get set up the decoration" Whitley tells the others.

"I'll bake a cake!" Serena says.

"Who's gonna distract Eli?" Ash wonders.

Everyone then realize "Maddie!" they all state.

"While Whitley and Serena are going to be working on the decorations and cake, the rest of us can go and get a present for Eli" Bonnnie tells the others.

"Well, the thing is we don't know what he likes" Ash says a bit worried.

Gary then remembers Eli's eleventh birthday "Actually I do know; Eli wouldn't care that much what we gave to him" he says making everyone look at the brunette surprisingly "as much as the present was made from the heart that what matters to him" he says.

"How you know that?" Ash ask looking at Gary suspiciously.

"Well on his eleventh birthday I gave him a handmade Eevee figurine out of clay although looking back it seemed more like a Growlithe than a Eevee but he liked it anyway, because he founded it cute" Gary explained a bit embarrassed.

"So basically, we could give him something we would like to give to Eli?" Clemont then questions.

Serena nods "that sounds about right, as long as it is from the heart" she responds to the blonde male.

"Okay! Operation: Eli's Memorable birthday it's a go!" Ash yells

"Yeah!" the others agree, and they went to different directions.

-Flashback ended-

"And that's how it went" Serena finished explaining.

"And while you were training Fletchling sent me a note from Ash to distract you so that once you're done with training; I was planning on challenging you myself but those guys appeared" Maddie then adds.

"What guys?" Clemont question making him, Ash, Serena and Gary look at the two of them with concern.

"Remember those three trainers who were hunting down Dragonair? well, they're back but this time they were after a Espurr who apparently ate food they own" Eli explains.

"You guys should've seen the battle it was like something out of the ordinary, no wonder Coordinators are so talented in terms of Battle and Beauty" Maddie tells the rest of our heroes.

Ash and Gary were angry but relieved that Eli was okay "the good new is that you're okay" Ash then says.

Gary nods "yeah, who knows what they could've done to you" Gary adds.

Eli nods back "you can say that" Eli before tearing up out of nowhere "I'm sorry" he apologizes.

Ash and Gary went up on both his sides, Making Bonnie sad as well "you don't like our surprised, Eli?"

"No Bonnie, you're wrong, I love it, is... is just that, I haven't celebrated my birthday in almost eight years, and I..." Eli tries to explain as he wipes his tears "I've never been this happy in a long time since I felt ready to see Ash and Gary again after so long" he confesses.

Ash and Gary look at Eli with awe "Eli..." they both said.

Eli then turns to Gary and Ash "this might sound cheesy, but Ash, Gary... thank you for being my first friends I ever had ever since we were five years old, and to this day we're still friends, and thank you for...allow me to be a part of your lives" Eli tells the two before smiling "I couldn't ask for better childhood friends than you guys" Eli then adds.

Ash and Gary blush while Gary looks away and Ash laughs nervously.

Eli then turns to his other friends "Clemont, Bonnie, Serena, Maddie, Whitley... We only knew each other for a short time, and I already feel that it's been forever since we met" Eli confesses "thank you for being a part of my life, just like you allowed me to be apart of yours, and you all set this up for me regardless of not knowing too much about me, I'm truly honored to have you guys as my friends, I hope from the day after tomorrow we get more memorable moments like this one" Eli tells them before bowing before sobbing "T-Thank you Everyone, f-for making my birthday more special than it already is" he then says.

Some cried as well other smiles at Eli "Group hug!" Bonnie shouts before tackling the blue hair boy which Eli caught her as he keeps his balance and then the others joined in and even the Pokémon joined for the group hug.
