Third Person POV

The group were running up the hill. 

"We'll be able to see it from the top of the hill!" Serena shouts while the others follow behind.

When they all reached the top, they could see a town that's near a ocean.

Serena inhales "Smell the ocean?" she asks.

"It feels so nice!" Bonnie comments.

Her older brother nods "It's always great to get to the shore" Clemont says.

Serena looks at the group showing her town map "this says how beautiful Ambrette Town is" she tells the others.

Dedenne climbs up to the top of Bonnie's head "you see that Dedenne, that's the ocean" the shorter blonde female tells the electric and fairy Pokémon.

Our heroes entered Ambrette town, and they went straight to the beach.

"Alright Froakie, I choose you!" Ash calls out the water type Pokémon from his team "check out the ocean" he tells Froakie who look at the ocean with awe.

Eli pulls out his Pokéball "Dragonair! Come on out!" he says as the Dragon Pokémon appears "look there's the ocean, want to have a swim?" he ask his dragon-type.

Dragonair's eyes light up and nod before jumping in the water with Pikachu, and Froakie while Bonnie's simply enjoying herself by riding on Dragonair's back Sylveon and Umbreon decided to stay back on land with their respective trainers.

"Oh yeah, makes sense since Dragonair can use Surf is natural for it to swim as if it's a water-type" Whitley point out which Eli nod.

"And Froakie's a Water-type, no wonder it's so happy!" Clemont states.

 "Yeah, this would be a great spot to train" Ash then says before looking at Eli "don't you think, Eli?" he ask his blue hair friend.

"it sure does, since Grant is a Rock type specialist is Good for Dragonair to improve her surf power" Eli explains as he watches Dragonair swimming in the salt water with now everyone riding on it. 

"But there's still somewhere I want to go" Serena then says.

Maddie looks at Serena "you mean the Ambrette Aquarium?" she asked making the honey blonde female nod.

"Yeah!" she replies.

"Ambrette Aquarium?" Gary repeated.

"It's a aquarium where you can find Water type Pokémon from all the different regions" Whitley explains to the tall Brunette male.

"That's it. I've wanted to go since forever" Serena tells the others.

"Sounds like fun" Ash says.

Eli feels a bit embarrassed "I'll confess, I'd never went on a Aquarium in general, before" he embarrassingly confesses and looks away with a blush.

"What!?" the entire group look at Eli with embarrassment.

Serena then links her arm with Eli's "Well Eli, you're about to have a unique experience you'd never forget!" she states as the others agree.

Little did they know that from a distance from the group in the water a small blue Pokémon was watching them in the water. 

-scene change-

To continue on their journey to Cyllage City our heroes have decided to visit the Ambrette Aquarium where they can marvel at the many water-type Pokémon on display there.

Maddie and Whitley told our heroes that they're going to the Pokémon Center just to have a phone call with their mother which much for Serena's sadness, but she understands and would want her to catch up with her mom.

As our heroes walk in the Aquarium a woman with brown pixie cut hair looks over at them bows "Welcome to Ambrette Aquarium, I'm sure you'll enjoy all our Aquatic displays" she tells them.

"Can't wait to see them" Serena responds.

"Our aquarium is the perfect place to see many different Water-type Pokémon" She explains which make Bonnie gasp with awe.

the group then entered the Aquarium then see the Aquarium really is living up to it's expectation. Eli sees a Lumineon who's waving at him Eli giggle and waves back at it the water Pokémon then leaves.

"you're enjoying yourself Eli?" Eli hears Gary asking as he and Umbreon are walking up to him and Sylveon.

"I am, If I'm honest Misty, and Azul would love this place if they ever decided to visit Kalos someday" Eli says.

Gary chuckle "they totally would, you know Azul's the new Elite four Member?" Gary question.

Eli looks at Gary surprised "really!? that's awesome, I'm so happy for him" he then says. 

"Listen Eli, this may be a bad time to talk about it, but what did that Lila girl from the Battle Chateau said to you before she left?" Gary asks with concern.

Eli seems surprised about the question "Well I can't really get away with it, can I?" he asks "well what she said was 'just because I win doesn't mean I'll win in the future' I have a feeling that in the Battle Chateau isn't the only time we'll see Lila in" he says.

"You two seem to have history" Gary said.

Eli frowns a bit "you have no idea, regardless, I feel a bit ashamed, that's a story for another time, hey is that a Mantine!?" Eli then question looking up while seeing a Mantine swimming above them.

"Whoever designed this aquarium sure knows about Water-type Pokémon" Clemont state as Ash agrees.

Gary still feeling worried about Eli, just what is the story that Eli isn't telling him.

-Scene change-

"And now here's a group of Piplup out for a little stroll" a voice says as a Piplup runs up to the group more specifically towards Eli.

Eli crouches down to it's level "nice to meet you, you better keep up with your buddies, okay?" Eli tells the Penguin Pokémon with a smile.

"Pi-pio!" Piplup cry before running back to the group of Piplup.

Ash laughs "Water type Pokémon sure have a thing for you, huh?" he says.

Eli rolls his eyes "can you blame me or else Gary's Blastoise will get jealous" he says jokingly.

"Piplup are really friendly, aren't they?" Serena then asks.

Ash looks back at the female "We know a Piplup who's really something else" Ash tells her as Gary, Pikachu and Umbreon.

Eli nod "man the same Piplup who was head over heels for Sylveon when he was still a Eevee" Eli explains with a giggle.

-scene change-

Our heroes now are in the room where there are tanks with Magikarp swimming around

"Hey, it's a Magikarp" Ash says before pulling out his Pokédex

"Magikarp the Fish Pokémon; Because all Magikarp seems to do is splash around some consider them weak, but they're actually a Hardy Pokémon that can survive in water, no matter how dirty it is"

Eli's head petting the Magikarp who cries happily before another Magikarp swims towards Eli wanting him to head peat it as well which the blue hair boy happily does so he was busy petting Magikarp that he didn't even notice the others leaving with a old man talking when Eli say his goodbye to the Magikarp he notices that the others were gone, and he sigh in disappointment.

"Why does this happen to me?" he ask himself before walking out of the room before bumping to a tall young man Eli see the man "I'm very so-James!?" he said recognizing the man.

Jame's wearing a creamy yellow dress shirt with a red tie underneath a dark green vest some grey pants and brown shoes and he also wears blue sunglasses while his hair is tied down into a low Ponytail.

James panics "N-No You're mistaken with someone else! Hahaha" James denies while laughing nervously as Sylveon frowns at the taller.

"James, I know is you, is that Jessabelle?" he asks making the periwinkle-colored hair male turn pale and hides behind the shorter male.

"Where!?" he asked out of fear before realizing "damn it" he curses.

"I'm sure that you guys are here to spy on us while basically trying to come up with a plan on capturing Pikachu, You're lucky I'm a good mood so I'll not snitch on you guys, unless you do something for me" Eli then says.

James looks at Eli confusedly "what is that?" he asked.

Eli smiles "Let's go hang out, not Pokémon capturing involve, no battling unless necessarily, just you and Me, hanging out in this Aquarium as friends" he says

Somehow James feel a bit cringe when he heard Eli calling him a friend if only, they were more "Uh...Sure I can do that" he says before the two then walk together.

James and Eli went on seeing all the Pokémon in the tank if Eli had a Camera, he would love to take some pictures with James specially when he and a Tentacruel are standing side by side making Eli laugh when he sees James making a Tentacruel impression to Eli's enjoyment he begins to like and enjoy James' company despite being from a evil organization James' a really fun guy to be around no wonder he Jessi and Meowth are always together and they care for one another, they're may be bad guys but they're not on that level of evil as their boss Giovanny.

the two then met up with Jessie and Meowth standing in front of a Magikarp statue.

"Dig it! Swiping and selling that gold statue should make us beaucoup de bucks!" Meowth says

Jessie looks at the statue with doubt "don't count our millions just yet, it's probably just gold plated" she tells the talking Pokémon.

"Agreed If it was solid Gold, it simply wouldn't be out here unprotected" James tells his comrades as Eli takes a few steps back not startling Jessie and Meowth for seeing them.

"If that's true, why would they have a statue like this hanging out here in the first place?" Meowth questions.

"Perhaps there's a real giant golden Magikarp splashing somewhere out there" Jessie says.

James looks at Jessie without turning his head to her "It behooves us to make it ours, then" James then remembers and looks at Eli who look sadly "unless is just a rumor" James then says.

Jessie and Meowth looked at James surprisingly "how come it be sure about it" Jessie question.

"I'm just assuming, you guys don't have to take it by heart, I can be wrong, too" James responds.

James then narrows his eyes at Eli who smiles at the taller male before silently taking his leave.

Jessie notices his eyes and looks back and sees Eli walking by them "You couldn't get your eyes off him, could you?" Jessie then asks.

James looks at Jessie with a blush "I-It's not what you think!" he says panicking.

"Calm down, I'm not judging you if you like that twerp, at least he seems the most tolerable out of all of them" Jessie says as her comrades agree with her.

-meanwhile-

Ash and the other run up to the beach meeting up with a old man fishing near the shore they see that he was struggling with the fishing rod but turns out that it was just seaweed which it lands on his face.

"Excuse me, do you run the aquarium?" Ash asks.

"Why yes, I do; my name is Rodman, nice to meet you" the old man introduces himself before looking down to his right "I'd also like you to meet my partner, Clauncher" Rodman adds as a blue Pokémon looks at our heroes and makes a bored cry.

"It's a Clauncher" Clemont points out as Eli and Sylveon manages to catch up with the group.

Ash then pulls out his Pokédex and points it at Clauncher.

"Clauncher, the Water Gun Pokémon; Clauncher fires compressed water from the arm gun on its right claw and damages foes with the impact from the water"

'This seems like a Pokémon Misty would like to have' Eli thought.

"We were curious about that Golden Magikarp statue" Serena then tells Rodman their reason why they come up to him.

"Oh, that statue's amazing, isn't it?" he questioned "As a matter of fact I'm trying to catch the real Golden Magikarp right now!" he tells the group making our heroes gasp with shock.

"There's a real Golden Magikarp?" Ash question

"Yeah, Shiny Magikarp are golden colored and like any other Shiny Pokémon they're super rare to find" Eli says to ash.

"Coming from someone who has two shiny Pokemon on his team" Gary points out.

Eli frown playfully "we're getting off topic here" he says.

Rodman nod at Ash "According to local legend, yes" he explained.

"So that explains why that amazing statue is on display" Clemont says.

"the legend's been around for years; long ago, people spent lots of time free diving here, one day, a free diver was shocked by a Starmie while underwater and came very close to drowning, suddenly, a mysterious Giant Golden Magikarp appeared out of nowhere and carried the free diver to shore, saving his life" Rodman tells the teenagers.

"Wow" Ash says with awe.

"Apparently, the giant Golden Magikarp has been spotted in this same area several other times" the old man continues.

"Fascinating" Clemont comment.

 "You see, the mayor is a very friendly man, so when I told him about the legend, he installed that golden Magikarp statue for the aquarium, my dream is to catch it for the Aquarium, so children will have the opportunity to see it up close" Rodman confesses "that way, everyone will enjoy the aquarium even more; after all, the purpose of an aquarium is to educate, and entertain, don't you think?" he then add.

"Sounds really awesome to me" Ash says

Pikachu jumps down from Ash's shoulder and runs up to Clauncher who seems to be resting in the sand Pikachu tries to make a conversation with the water-type but Clauncher turns away.

then Rodman notices that he gets a bite "Oh I have a bite" he states before he begins to pull up the rod "It's a big one!" he adds as Ash and the others looks back a the ocean they see something jumping out but turns out to be a regular Magikarp "Ugh, it's just a regular Magikarp" Rodman says as he waves at the Magikarp who swims away before waving at Eli who he and Sylveon waves back "Whenever I catch a normal Magikarp, I always release it back into the ocean" Rodman explains.

then a idea came in Ash's mind "I know I'll help you catch it!" Ash tells the old man.

then the others one by one offer to help as well

"Well looks like I've got myself a fishing team!" Rodman states before getting down from the rock and hands each and every one of them a fishing rod.

"No doubt I'm going to be one who catches the giant Golden Magikarp!" Ash states.

"We'll see about that" Clemont confidently say as both Ash and Clemont swing their rod and the string fall into the water.

Serena looks at the two unsure whether she knows what to do with the Rod as she sees Bonnie and Gary doing it as well.

"Everything alright?" Serena looks back and Sees Maddie walking towards.

Serena's eyes shine "Maddie!" she states happily.

Eli notices Serena's expression and giggle to himself before he then swings his fishing rod forward.

Maddie smiles "by the looks of it you seem like you have trouble in using the rod" she says looking at Serena with a fishing rod.

"Well, you see I've never fished before" Serena tells the white hair female.

Maddie then drops her bag "let me help, my grandfather taught both Whitley and I how to fish when we were little" Maddie says as she walks up to Serena "first the hold is like holding a baseball bat make sure your dominant hand is higher than your nondominant hand" She explains as she gets behind Serena which catches the honey blonde by surprise.

Maddie places her hands on top of Serena's helping her positioning her hold Serena's internally praying to Arceus to not get herself wet in the process.

"then when you're move the rod way to the back and then cast the lure with all your might, we'll do it together on three...one...two...three!" Maddie explains while Serena then swings the rod forward with all she got while the lure falls into the water.

"Nice one!" Ash praised Serena successful swing.

"You definitely have potential" Clemont complimented Serena.

"You think so?" Serena asked.

Maddie smiles "yeah, you were great" Maddie tells Serena.

Serena feels Maddie's breath hitting her ear making her shiver while turning red 'please don't get wet, please don't get wet' she begs herself internally before feeling Maddie moving herself away from the honey blonde.

After a while of waiting Whitley then came over later on and see all of them fishing Maddie explains to Whitley as he caught up with the situation

Serena notice that her rod's been tugged "What's that?"

Ash looks at Serena "A bite! Reel it in, quick!" Ash tells her.

Serena seems to struggle with it, Rodman looks over with wonder "Oh, could it be the giant Golden Magikarp?" he wonders.

then Eli gets a bite as well "Shit, I got a bite too!" Eli states as he goes to reel in.

Maddie helps Serena "Now pull back!" she yells as a Corsola gets pull out of the water.

"Wow a Corsola" Ash states.

Serena smiles at it "it's so cute!" she states.

"Not the Golden Magikarp but you did make a impressive first catch" Maddie tells the other female.

Eli seems to be struggling with his before Gary and Whitley went towards Eli to help him "here we go!" the three boys then pull before a familiar Blue Pokemon flew out of the water

"Ma!" it cries.

"Marill!?" the group looks at the Aqua Mouse Pokémon out of surprise before Eli pulls out his Pokédex

"Marill, the Aqua Mouse Pokémon. Its sensitive ears can detect distant sounds and the round rubbery tip on its tail can expand and contract, assisting Marill in the water."

Marill looks at Eli and its eyes lit up and swims towards the blue hair Male and jumps up and down as if it wants uppies from Eli.

Eli did pick up Marill and smiles at it "it's nice to meet you Marill, I'm Eli" he introduces himself to the Aqua Mouse Pokémon.

"Sylveon!" Sylveon cries greeting it as well.

"Marill!" Marill cries happily.

"Hey, Eli, have you caught a Marill in your solo adventures?" Ash asked the blue hair teenager. 

Eli thought about it and then shakes his head "I don't think so?" he says.

"Why don't you catch it!?" Ash then questioned.

Not noticing that Serena attended to catch Corsola it fled.

Marill then jumps out of Eli's arms and gets distance from him and gets to a battle stance "Marill!" it cries determine.

Rodman chuckles "seems like Marill want you to battle it first" he tells Eli.

Eli looks surprised "you really want me to battle you?" he ask Marill who nodded and belly drums itself "Okay Marill, you got yourself a deal!" he says before pulling out a Poké ball before looking at Sylveon "Sylveon sit this one out, okay?" he tells his partner who nod "Okay Flabébé come on out!" he shouts as Flabébé appears out of it's Poke ball.

"Bébé" the fairy-type Pokémon cries.

"Good luck Flabébé, we know it's your first battle but do your best!" Bonnie cheers for Flabébé

"Denne!" Dedenne cries cheering on top of Bonnie's head while Clauncher watches standing next to Bonnie in silence.

"Alright Flabébé use Magical leaf!" Eli commands as Flabébé starts spinning and then releases multiple light green glowing leaves at Marill.

The ball at the end of Marill's tail glows white. It then twirls its tail rapidly and protects itself from the Magical leaf.

"What moves was that?" Whitley questions.

"That's Iron Tail!" Gary states.

Eli frowns a bit 'so this Marill seem to be experienced' he thinks as he sees Marill charging towards Flabébé with its twirling Iron Tail "Dodge it!" Eli shouts as Flabébé dodges it with ease "Magical leaf again!" Flabébé uses Magical Leaf again and Marill gets hit and Marill kick up.

"Marill!" Marill cries as it gets surrounded by rings of water.

"It uses Aqua Ring!" Eli states "If that's how you play then we'll do the same, Flabébé use Grassy Terrain!" Flabébé releases a light-green ring of energy from her body onto the grass around her, causing flowers to grow and powering up Grass-type moves "the Stage is set, go for it Flabébé use Magical leaf again!"

Flabébé uses Magical leaf again and this time it was stronger as Marill gets hit and falls on its back.

"Marill's down!" Rodman state.

"Go for it Eli!" the group shout.

Eli pulls out a Pokéball "Alright then let's do this, go Poke ball!" he shouted.

Eli throws the Pokéball and hits Marill before getting sucked in the Poke ball the ball wiggles as everyone present watches the Pokéball wiggling intensively before making a ding sound when it stopped.

"All right!" Everyone cheers as Eli picks up the Poke ball.

"I just have a new friend, and its name is Marill!" Eli stated posing with the Pokéball in hand.

"Sylveon!/Bébé!" both Sylveon and Flabebe cry in cheer.

-scene change-

Everyone went back to fishing for the Golden Magikarp Eli feeds his newly caught Marill some Pokémon Food that he brought with the help of Whitley and Maddie.

Bonnie then looks at her brother curiously "Clemont, what are you making there, anyway?" she asked.

Clemont stands up "All done!" he states making Our heroes look at the blonde male "the future is now thanks to science, Clemontic Gear, on!" he states showing off his inventions who's seemed to be resembled to a Chinchou "Its name? The No Need for Water-type Pokémon Food Chinchou Model Magikarp Magnet!" Clemont explains.

Bonnie cringes at the long name "Your names are pretty boring, but they say it all" she says.

"I prefer to call it the Iron Chinchou" Eli then says "you know since the invention is resembled to a Chinchou" he explains.

Clemont then nods "I'll consider it" he says "A sound wave to people will emit from Chinchou's antennae all the way down to the bottom of the ocean that sound wave has a naturally soothing effect on Magikarp so they'll be attracted to and gather around my wonderful device! And that's when we'll reel them all in!" Clemont explains.

"Wow! Science is so amazing!" Ash says.

"You're a Genius" Rodman stated.

"Aw shucks, you flatter me! Let's get to it!" Clemont says as he puts his invention into the ocean "Power on!" he shouts as his devices begins to swim further to the ocean as its antennae gets sink in the water and makes soundwaves.

"Why I have a bad feeling about this?" Whitley questions himself while writing down something in his journal and before he knew he heard a explosion "Called it" he says.

"More like jinxed it" Maddie adds.

-little time skip-

Ash, Gary and Serena were still on fishing and Serena already grow bored of it.

"Fishing it's pretty boring when you don't get any bites" Serena boredly comments.

"But isn't it nice to relax with nothing to do with all the time in the world to feel the delightful ocean breeze? look at your friend over there for example" Rodman says.

Serena looks over and sees Maddie wearing a two-piece blue bathing suit laying on a pale-blue towel tanning herself under the sun with sunglasses covering her eyes making as you could see sparkling stars floating around Maddie's slandered body of a goddess, Serena blushes hard and looks back forth.

'Oh, Arceus how is she so cute and hot at the same time!?' Serena questions the God Pokémon in her thoughts.

her train of thoughts were interrupted when she then hears Clemont speaking "All done!" he says as he shows off another invention which is similar to the Iron Chinchou but this time the resemblance is based on Chinchou's evolved form Lanturn "the Future is still now thanks to science!" Clemont states.

"It's time for take two" Bonnie hopelessly says.

"Bonnie, be nice he's trying" Eli gently tells the younger blonde.

"Clemontic Gear, on! Its name? The This Time It Will Attract Only Magikarp For Certain Lanturn model or Iron Lanturn for short" he says.

"At least you're getting better at naming names, I guess" Bonnie then says.

Serena looks at Clemont unsure "You sure it's going to work this time?" she questions.

Clemont nods "Yes, I just ran extensive tests on the Magikarp in the Aquarium and discovered which sound wave they prefer" he explains.

Serena sighs hopelessly before Eli steps up "Well, is okay that the first time wasn't a success, you can learn from the mistakes of the first attempt and try to come with a different way to get what you want to get, it's not always the same formula or strategy or style you can changed it into something different with the purpose of making it better" Eli then explains in which Both Serena and Ash finally understood.

"This improved model will emit a special sound wave down to the bottom of the ocean basically the same procedure as Iron Chinchou!" Clemont continues explaining to the others.

"It's amazing that Science is so amazing!" Ash stated.

Eli looks at Ash "I really need to get use to hear you saying that" he tells his Kantonian friend while Serena still looks at the invention unsure. 

"Let's get started then" Clemont states.

"You're sure about this?" Serena asks.

Gary shrugs "there's no point in stopping Clemmy boy now" he says.

"Umbre" Umbreon agrees.

"Golden Magikarp, come to me, now!" Clemont yells before throwing Iron Lanturn to the water.

Whitley smirks while sitting under a big Umbrella "I know what you're thinking, don't" Maddie scolds her twin while still tanning in the sun.

After a while of waiting Eli then takes another attempt to fishing with Marill and Sylveon standing beside him.

"Nothing seems to be happening" Serena says.

Eli looks at Serena "don't lose hope, yet" he tells the honey blonde.

Rodman gets a bite "I've got a bite" he informs.

Ash and Clemont then got a bite as well.

"Yeah, so do I" Ash tells the others.

Clemont struggles to reel in "I seem to have a bite, too" he says.

"Let's go you guys!" Bonnie cheers

Eli, Gary, and Serena then get a bite "We got a bite as well!" Eli informs.

Maddie takes off her sunglasses and puts on her hoodie and run up to help Serena who seems the most struggled while Whitley puts his journal back to his bag and then leaves to help out Clemont.

"S-So heavy" Serena grunts while trying to reel with Maddie's help.

"Mine heavy too, I've never caught something like this before" Rodman confesses.

"Me neither" Ash adds.

"Say something, we don't know!" Eli yells while reeling as Sylveon and Marill cheer for the blue hair male.

Suddenly something emerges from the ocean.

"It's huge!"

"Humongous!" 

'that's what she said' Whitley thought.

"Could we have caught it?"

they see a Giant Golden Magikarp but there's something that for Eli finds it odd about this Magikarp which he didn't even noticed the reaction of everyone else.

"We did it it's the Golden Magikarp!" everyone minus Eli who got startled by everyone's shout.

"Amazing it really does exist!" Ash states as Pikachu cries happily.

Serena then jumps for joy "We really caught it! We really caught it!" she cheered while Maddie looks at the Magikarp with awe.

"Excellent! My new device worked!" Clemont cheer believing that his invention worked this time.

"Great job Clemont!" bonnie congratulated her brother.

Gary smirks "that's how is done" he says while Umbreon cries happily.

Eli then notices something on the tail and is like a motor and then his eyes widen with realization "oh no" he mutters only for Sylveon and Marill to hear.

then the top of Magikarp open only for Team Rocket to come out.

"No way" Ash says.

"Prepare for trouble; no way, you say!?"

"And make it double; no way, no way!"

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all people within our nation!"

"To Denounce the evils of fishing hooks!"

"To extend our denouncing to Twerp-ish crooks!"

"Jessie!"

"And James!"

"Team Rocket blasts of at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare for an aquatic fight!"

"Meowth that's right!"

"Wobbuffet!"

"Team Rocket!" Our Heros minus Eli state because he already knew they would be here.

"Can't you see we're trying to catch the golden Magikarp!? Gets yourselves in someone else's way for a change!" Jessie angrily yells at our heroes.

James notices Eli with a apologetic expression as if he didn't knew this was gonna happen 'He didn't know' he thought.

"Those guys are always messing everything up" Ash states.

"No..." Eli says making everyone look at the blue hair boy "Not this time" he tells them which they were confused by that.

"Well, who are those guys?" Rodman questions looking at Team Rocket,

"Bad people, that's all you need to know" Eli says surprising the rest of our heroes with his choice of words.

"Let's grab those goons' Pokémon and show them no one gets in Team Rocket's face!" Meowth yells.

"Beginning with Clauncher and Marill!" James adds.

"Down we go" Jessie then says as then Team Rocket got back to the sub.

When Mechanical arms appeared and launches them at both Water type Pokémon.

"Marill Use Iron Tail Pronto!" Eli shout as the ball at the end of the Aqua Mouse Pokémon's tail glows white. It then twirls its tail rapidly hitting one of the arms while Clauncher dodges the other.

"Speedy Pokémon!" Jame says referring to Clauncher.

"And defense one too!" Meowth referring to Marill.

"Change up, let's set our sight on Dedenne!" Jessie says as the mechanical arm attempt to grab Dedenne

Marill uses iron tail to push the mech arms away and Clauncher cuts them all off.

"Alley oop, Pumpkaboo!"

"You too Inkay!"

Both Jessie and James call out their Pokémon as Pumpkaboo and Inkay appear to battle.

"Use Shadow Ball" Jessie shouts as Pumpkaboo forms a ball of black and purple energy with black static around it. It then fires the ball at our heroes.

"Look out Clauncher dodge it!" Rodman warns his Pokémon who dodges with ease.

"Inkay, Psybeam!" James yells as Inkay flips upside down and fires a streaky blue beam with pink circles inside it from its mouth at the self-proclaimed twerps.

"Marill use Aqua Ring!" Eli shouts as Marill protects itself with Aqua ring while it absorbs the Psybeam.

"Use Water Gun!" Rodman commanded as Clauncher releases a stream of water from one of its claws at Inkay hitting it.

"Marill time to give them a backup, use Bubble beam!" Eli shuts as Marill releases a stream of blue bubbles from its mouth at Both Inkay and Pumkaboo making them fall on Jessie and Jame making them all get back in the submarine.

Jessie and James look at the twerp and when they see Eli he winks at them.

Eli sees that Ash and Pikachu are about to make a attack but Eli stops them "Wait!" Ash and Pikachu looks at Eli confused "Allow me to give them a final blow"

"But Eli-"

"Don't get me wrong Ash, I now is your thing but, is just all the time, so sit this one out, okay?"

Ash sighs "Alright, well move out of your way" he says.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu agrees.

Eli smiles and gives Ash a kiss on the cheek "thanks Ash" he thanked Ash he looks at Sylveon and Flabébé who's still out of it's Pokéball "Guys I'm going to need your help!" he tells them who then nod.

"isn't that a bit too much?" Clemont questioned.

"Sylveon use Moonblast, Flabebe Magical Leaf and Marill use Whirlpool!" Eli then shouts.

Sylveon spreads its feelers wide open, and an image of the moon appears behind it. It then forms an orb of pink energy in front of its mouth and fires it; Flabébé starts spinning and then releases multiple light green glowing leaves; then Marill body glows a blueish-white color and it raises its arms and beak to the air. It then opens its mouth, and a huge whirlpool comes out of it and forms above Marill, it then throws the whirlpool at the submarine.

the attack clashed causing it to create a steam explosion causing Ash and the others to get blinded.

to Team Rocket's surprised nothing happens to them.

"Is he helping us escape?" Meowth questioned.

James shrugs "Seems like it" he adds.

"Don't care let's just get out of here, we'll get them another time" Jessie says but James stops her.

"Wait let's make our leave more real" James suggest which Jessie and Meowth agree.

"We're blasting off again!"

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet cried before team rocket then leave with their submarine. 

when the steam clears up Our heroes don't see team Rocket anymore.

"Eli you were awesome!" Ash says "but was using three moves necessary?" he ask.

Eli scratches the back of his head "well I just have to be a bit more extra" he explains himself laughing "I mean where's the fun in that?" he asks before he playfully winks making Ash, Gary and Clemont blush while the others laugh.

"Kids these days are just a tease, just like I used to be" Rodman says to himself while chuckling with Clauncher standing next to its trainer.

-time skip-

It was already late now that Maddie and Whitley changed back in their normal clothes.

"Well, it's time to call it a day" Rodman says.

"Sorry for all the trouble you had to go through" Ash apologizes.

"And that we weren't able to help much" Serena adds.

"Thank you for lending us your fishing rods" Eli then thanked the old man.

"You kids go on and keep them, I'm certain they'll come in handy someday" he tells them.

"Wow really? Thank you so much" Ash then thanked the old man.

"We'll take good care of them" Serena then joins the thanking.

"We appreciate it" Clemont adds.

"You're really sweet of your part Rodman" Eli agrees as Gary nod agreeing with the others.

"Thank you for the kind gesture" Maddie and Whitley thanked at the same time.

then they see the real Giant Golden Magikarp jumping out of the water much making everyone look at the Pokémon with awe making Rodman jump for joy which Eli finds it adorable

after a while of celebrating, they're off to do their goodbye to the old fisherman.

"Gotta go" Ash tells Rodman.

"We'll be back" Bonnie adds.

Rodman nods "Good, and I will have caught the Golden Magikarp by the time I see you next" he tells the group.

"We look forward to it" Serena then says.

Eli rests his hand on his hips "You can say that again" he tells Serena.

Dedenne and Marill who's in Eli's arm wave at Clauncher who waves back.

Although our Heroes were unable to help Rodman catch the Golden Magikarp of legend they've once again been reminded that there are countless wonders they have yet to discover as their exciting adventures continue.

-time skip-

Eli's sleeping in a room in the middle of the night since our heroes decided to stay in Ambrette Town for the night before continuing on their journey to Cyllage City not before a musical box opens itself and plays a soft music and then a floating Pokémon looks through a window and see Eli with a smile and Meowth opens the window and guided both Inkay and Pumpkaboo a package and put them on a night table before they quickly run out of the room and quickly close the window.

"The present is set; I hope he likes the Gift James sets up for him" Meowth says as Inkay and Pumpkaboo agrees.

James in his disguise looks at the Window of Eli's room and smiles to himself 'Happy early Birthday Eli' he thinks to himself.
