Third Person's POV

Continuing their journey to Cyllage City where Ash and Eli's next Kalos Gym battle will take place, Our Heroes have just arrived in Camphrier Town.

"So this is Camphrier Town" Ash says as he and the others look around the town.

"The Town map says it's a place where you can taste the ages" Serena points out.

Bonnie looks over at the late teens "What does taste the ages means?" She asks.

"It means the town has a wealth of history with a lot of old building still standing" Clemont explains to his sister

Gary nods "this would totally be a great report for grandpa" he says making Eli giggle.

"Of course, it would" the blue hair young man replies to the tall brunette before a loud roar erupts forcing our heroes to cover their ears with their hands. 

"What was that!?" Ash questions.

"How should we know!?" Whitley and Maddie asked back.

then the roars suddenly stops.

"Hey it stopped" Bonnie says.

"What a relief" Serena adds.

"Tell me about it" Gary responds.

Eli sighs and shake their head and looks at a lady who's simply sweeping the ground with a broom he walks up to her and waves at her gaining her attention she looks at the blue hair boy before taking off her ear plugs.

"How can I help you?" she asks.

"Yeah, me and my friend just came here for a visit, and we were introduced by a very loud noise and I'm wondering if local know anything about the source of that sound" Eli tells the woman very politely of his part.

"Oh, that noise" she says with a apologetic expression Eli can tell that she knows what noise he was talking about "follow me" she tells him before walking off.

Eli turns to the others who look back at the blue hair boy confusedly "I guess it's best if we follow her, I'm quite curious about the source of that sound, you should add this to your report for Professor Oak, Gary" He then tells Gary which the brunette likes the idea.

"Hey, you're right, this could make the report more interesting, Eli you're a genius!" he tells the blue hair male.

Eli giggles "it's nothing, come on!" he tells as he walks a head with the other following behind.

-scene change-

the woman guides our heroes to the center of town where they met up a Snorlax sleeping on the ground.

"Snorlax!?" Ash questions surprisingly to see a Snorlax here in Kalos.

Bonnie looks at Snorlax with awe "Never seen one before!" Bonnie states.

Eli's eyes light up while keeping himself from jumping around like a fanboy which Maddie and Whitley sweat drop seeing him 'Is he okay?'

Gary also looks at Eli's ecstatic expression and chuckles "You still love Snorlax, do you?"

Eli freezes and looks away with a blush "I can't help it, they're super huggable and adorable specially when they're asleep" Eli states making Ash and Gary laugh at the blue hair boy's adorable expression.

Serena then pulls out her Pokedex and points it at Snorlax.

"Snorlax, The Sleeping Pokémon; after eating its fill, Snorlax is too sleepy to move, small children sometimes play on its belly."

"I'm certain that sound you heard was Snorlax snoring" the woman tells the group.

"But why is it sleeping right in the center of town?" Clemont then asks.

"This town and Snorlax have always had a symbiotic relationship" the woman respond.

"Symbiotic?" Ash repeats.

Maddie walks up to Ash "I think she means that they help each other out" Maddie explains to one of the Kantonian Trio.

The woman nod "Right! Every year about this time Snorlax comes down from the mountain top to eat up all the crop roots that are left over after we finished our harvest" she explains.

Serena then looks up at the woman with concern "Wait isn't that a bad thing?" She questions.

"Not at all! In fact, as Snorlax digs up the roots it plods the fields, which gives us a good harvest the next year" the woman explains.

"Wow" Ash says with amaze.

Whitley nods "wow indeed, Ash" he responds.

The woman then continues "Then, when Snorlax is almost finished eating, we have a harvest festival as a way of showing Snorlax our gratitude for its help; at the close of the festival the lord of Shabonneau Castle plays the Poké Flute while Snorlax finishes up the town's offerings and it dances its wat back up to its mountaintop home" the woman says.

the group were in awe hearing the story "Does that mean the festival hasn't happened yet?" Ash then asks the lady.

before she could even answer they hear a kid yelling "Wake up!"

the group looks over and sees two kids trying to wake up Snorlax "We wanna see you dance, so please wake up, Snorlax" a little girl beg the sleeping Pokémon.

"The town is all ready for the festival to begin, but the way things are there's no wat we'll be able to" the woman then explains to the group who are watching the two children "We have a big problem that's keeping Snorlax from waking up" she continues on explaining.

"I see..." Eli mutters making a thinking pose.

"Sylveon" Sylveon doing the same as Eli making a thinking pose with his ribbons which to Pikachu and Umbreon find it cute as they blush but glare at each other.

"What's the big problem" Serena asks.

"The Lord of Shabonneau Castle who plays the flute to wake up Snorlax flatly refuses to come to this year's festival" the lady answers.

Snorlax then makes a loud snore making everyone cover their ears.

"Ow! Stop!" Bonnie screams.

"It feels like my ears are gonna burst!" Serena says before looking at the twins "Shut up!"

"What?!" they asked.

Clemont chuckles "I say this is my cue to step in and help!" he says as Eli looks at Clemont "Which mean, the future is now, thanks to science!" Clemont states. 

"You were saying something!?" Eli asks the blonde.

Clemont goes to pulls something out of his backpack "I have the perfect device for this situation! Clemontic Gear, on!" he says while pulling out a tiny alarm clock figurine look alike invention "I invented it to help Bonnie get out of bed, because she takes forever; It's the Bonnie Out of Bed-omatic!" Clemont introduces the invention which Bonnie didn't quite get most of it.

"That thing's gonna wake up Snorlax?" Ash asks.

"Indeed! Cranking the volume as far as it will go! Now make sure your ears are all covered" Clemont explains as he prepares his invention while Bonnie covers Clemont's ears, Serena covers Bonnie's, Maddie covers Serena's, Whitley covers Maddie's, Eli covers Whitley's, Ash covers Eli's, Gary cover Ashes and the Lady cover Gary's while having her ear plugs on.

Eli looks unsure "Are you certain that this a good Idea? I mean Snorlax isn't called the sleeping Pokémon for nothing" Eli points out shouting.

"We don't have a choice, we must try" Gary responds.

"Just hurry the fuck up!" Whitley cursed.

"Whitley there are children here!" Maddie scolds her twin.

the invention begins to make noise attending to wake Snorlax up, but it seems to be futile which annoys Bonnie.

Eli noticed that the robot is overheating "Something's clearly wrong!" Clemont states.

Eli looks at the Intertwining Pokémon "Sylveon, use your ribbons and throw Clemont's invention to the air before it explodes!" He tells his partner who nod and uses his ribbons throws Clemont's invention up in the air before it explodes.

"I don't think that worked" Whitley says.

"But I'm sure that explosion was loud enough to wake Snorlax up!" Clemont responds with a bit of hope left.

Eli looks and sees Snorlax still sleeping "no it didn't, on the bright side it stopped the loud snoring" he says as Clemont sighs disappointedly.

Ash then hears some of the town folks interacting with one another "What do you think is gonna happen if Snorlax doesn't wake up?" an old man asks.

"Nobody will get any sleep and we'll be a wreck" A womans responded.

"Maybe if Nurse Joy took Snorlax in at the Pokémon Center..."

"Perhaps, maybe we could ask officer Jenny."

Eli frowns hearing this "I understand where the people here are coming from, but at the same time I feel bad for Snorlax" he says with sad eyes looking at the sleeping Pokémon. 

"Sylveon..." Sylveon agrees.

Ash nods "Yeah, we've got to help Snorlax out before it gets in more trouble" he says also looking at Snorlax "I can't leave it like this" Ash adds. 

Eli looks at Ash and smiles "Yeah" he says nodding at the ravenette male.

"I agree" Serena agrees.

"It seems the only way it'll wake it up is if the Lord of Shabonneau Castle plays the Poke Flute" the lady then tells the group.

"So why don't we just ask the Lord of Shabonneau Castle to come help us out?" Serena then asks.

Maddie frown before sighing sadly "Hate to be the one saying this, but I don't think it'll be that simple" she says.

Whitley nods "I'm going to side with Mads on this one, remember what she said that the Lord blankly refuses to come to the festival, I have a theory that something happened to the Poke Flute, and he decided to not come to the festival so that people don't freak out about it" Whitley says.

Eli makes a thinking for a moment "But we can't know until we figure out ourselves, right?" he says.

The Lady nods "That could be a possibility; the townspeople have asked Lord Shabonneau several times, but he always seems to have an excuse for why he can't" the lady points out.

"then I'll go to Shabonneau Castle myself!" Ash exclaims.

"You will?" the lady asks looking at Ash unsure.

"He'll say yes, if I tell him what's going on, I'm sure he'll play the flute for Snorlax!" Ash states as most of the rest of the group agrees.

"Well looks like we can't argue Mads" Whitley says to his twin.

Maddie nod in agreement "You got that right" she replies.

-Scene change-

the group arrived to the Shabonneau Castle as they see the Castle's drawbridge going down and they see a elderly butler walking out greeting them.

"Hello there" the butler greets while making a small bow "How can I help you young people out on this fine afternoon?" he then asks.

"We'd like to talk to Lord Shabonneau for all the people who live down in Camphrier Town" Ash tells the butler.

"Well, you certainly have traveled a long way so please, come in" the butler says as he guides them inside the castle.

Trumpets were heard and the group were facing a giant curtain.

"Presenting the master of this Castle, Lord Shabonneau!" the butler states as the curtains open revealing a short chubby man sitting on a throne.

"Shabonneau, Bonne, Bonne! So tell me, what brings you to my castle home?" the lord questions looking at the group.

"We need your help! Please play the flute at this year harvest festival, like you've always done!" Ash tells which the lord jumps out of his throne.

"That is not up for discussion!" the lord says as he walks away.

Whitley frowns "how come, you don't want to help your people?" Whitley asks.

"Snorlax is as sleep in the center of town and won't wake up!" Clemont explains.

"We need you to play the Poke Flute!" Serena adds.

"Oh, pretty please!" Bonnie begs clapping her hands together.

Maddie walks up "were you gonna decide to turn your back on the people who were counting on you?" she asks making the lord look at the whitette female with shock.

"I would never!" he stated offendedly.

"then why you refuse to help, then?" Gary asks.

The lord looks down a little embarrassed "I-It's... hard to explain" he responds "Here's the truth, The Poke Flute was in my castle at one time, until now" he tells the group who were horrified by the news.

"Well, what happened to it?" Ash asks Lord Shabonneau.

"Did somebody break it?" Gary also asked.

Shabonneau shakes his head while waving off the teens "No, nothing like that!" he reassures the group that a broken flute wasn't the main issue.

Clemont and Bonnie sigh with relief Eli then walks up "then what's the problem?" he asks Shabonneau.

"I'm afraid she just grabbed it" he tells the group making them gasp with shock.

Maddie and Whitley tilted their head when they heard a certain word "She?" the twins question.

"Yes, Princess Allie from Parfum Palace, located in the next town visited my castle, she exclaimed "Oh ho, ho! this Poke Flute is so pretty!" and took it home with her" Shabonneau explains.

"Wait; so, you just allowed the princess to take it?" Ash asked.

"You see, once Princess Allie makes up her mind it's impossible to get her to change it" the butler explains. 

"Ara, Ara~" Everyone flinches slowly looking at Eli who has a darken aura surrounding him that even Giratina could be intimidated by it.

Eli's eyes flash a bit "So she's one of those girls, huh?" he asks with a wicked smile.

"Sylveon~" Sylveon cries while having the same aura that Pikachu and Umbreon were looking at the Fairy-type Pokémon nervously with its eyes also flashing.

Eli turns to the Lord "Lord Shabonneau" the chubby man trembles hearing Eli calling him the teenage boy walks up to the man and kneels down to him and the aura vanishes "You can count on us to go to Parfum Palace, confront Princess Allie and take the Flute Back from her, not matter the cost" he says with a warm smile "And then you'll be able to play it at the festival!" Eli adds making the lord smile ecstatically at the young man.

'What a dramatic change!' Clemont, Bonnie, Serena and the twins stated in their minds out of shock.

'It's been a while since we've seen Eli acting like this' Gary and Ash thought 'So hot' they added while blushing.

"Splendid! I'd be delighted to perform at the Harvest Festival!" Shabonneau states happily.

Eli then gets up "I'm sure we'll be back before sundown" he tells the shorter man.

-scene change-

the group now stands in front of the Hedge of the Parfum Palace, home of Princess Allie.

"So this is Parfum Palace" Eli says to himself.

"I'd say this Hedge is part of Parfum Palace" Clemont says to the others as Bonnie tries to sneak through the Hedge.

Serena and Maddie notices this "Bonnie!" Serena calls the younger female.

Bonnie pulls herself out and points at the hole she dug in the Hedge "I think we can sneak right through here!" she says.

After the group snuck through the Hedge, and they see the back yard and they were amazed by the scenery.

"What a Giant Garden!" Serena stated.

Whitley agrees "You can say that again" he says.

"I wouldn't wanna mow the lawn" Bonnie jokingly says.

Sylveon looks on his right and cries "Veon!" Sylveon makes a battle stance.

Eli looks over and sees a Furfrou running towards them "A Furfrou!" he states alarming the others.

Furfrou stands in front of the group growling at them Sylveon stand up to Furfrou growling at it and the two Pokémon glare at each other.

"Pika Pika!" Pikachu calls the intertwining Pokémon out of concern.

"Umbre" Umbreon goes to Sylveon preventing the Fairy Type Pokémon from committing something it'll regret.

"Furfrou, stop at once!" a voice is heard while maid throws petals to the air while carrying small basket and a little girl with curly red hair walks up to them.

Eli did not like the vibe coming from her and petted Sylveon's head who turns to it's trainer "Hide behind me, she gives me not so good vibes" he says as Sylveon nods and does as tell to do as Eli looks at Umbreon "You too Umbreon hide, behind Gary" he tells the Moon Pokémon who went to hide behind Gary.

"Furfrou dear, You shouldn't be playing wall this trash, it'll give you a tummy-ache" the girl says preferring to the group.

the group seem slight offended mostly confused "Hey! You're calling us trash" Ash ask.

Eli frowns and places a hand on Ash's shoulder "Not worth it, Ash" he says before Taking Pikachu and hide him in Ash's backpack which Pikachu looks at Eli confusedly "You'll thank me later" Eli whispers to the mouse Pokemon but leave the backpack open so Pikachu can breathe.

"Uh might you be Princess Allie?" Clemont asks.

"It is her" Maddie responds before the girl could even responded.

Serena looks at Maddie interested "how you know?" she asked.

"Our Father used to do business with the king, yet she did try to take Maddie's Lopunny one time when she was a Buneary, and more worry about Maddie since it's the first time they meet" Whitley explains before hearing Allie dramatically laughs while the maids throw more petals.

"Indeed, I am Princess Ally, Parfum Palace is my home!" Allie states while fanning herself with her hand fan.

"So Lovely!" the maids cheer while throwing more petals to the air making Eli silently gag and look away from the princess and so did Sylveon.

"That cringes you too, huh?" Maddie asks the blue hair male.

Eli looks back at the white hair girl "You have no clue" he responds.

Bonnie looks at Allie with starry eyes "Wow, you're a real princess?" Bonnie asks.

Serena laughs awkwardly "getting the flute back might not be so easy" she mutters only for Whitley to hear.

"You think?" he mutters back.

Gary checks on Eli "Are you okay, Eli?" he asks with concern.

"Umbre?" Umbreon check on Sylveon.

Eli looks at Gary and nod "I will be, shortly" he responds.

"Please, Princess Allie! Give us the Poke Flute back, alright?" Ash asks.

Allie turns away and thinks "Hm... Let me think, nah!" she responds with no care of the world.

"But why not?" Ash asks.

"Because my things are my things and things that were given to me are my things as well, so the Poke Flute is one of my things and it's all mine!" Allie explains before she, Furfrou and her maids laugh.

"More like you took it from somebody else, so the flute was never given to you" Maddie says walking up to Allie making them all stop laughing.

Eli tried to stop Maddie, but Whitley stops him "Whitley?" he asks.

"Trust me Eli, is best to leave Maddie on this once" Whitley says reassuringly to the Blue hair young man "when it comes to girls like Allie, they become Maddie's prey" he explains.

Eli then smirks "looks like I don't need to do all the heavy lifting after all" he says.

"As you see Princess, Shabonneau needs that flute for the Harvest Festival and to wake up loud snore machine Snorlax and the people won't get any sleep and whether you like it or not we will need that Flute" Maddie states.

"If so, they should just go to their seaside Villas and take a little nappy poo" Allie says before laughing again, but that's until Maddie slaps Allie's hand forcing her to drop her hand fan shocking everyone and Furfrou grows at Maddie.

"I have enough of your bratty attitude, girls like don't deserve to be called princess, because you're too entitle to your name, and from a one high family named to another, I refused to turn my back on other people's wishes, when they're on their worst but who am I to judge you since you're too immature to even understand the meaning of being kind and empathy" she states making Allie glare at Maddie "and I were you I would rather be careful on who you're calling trash, trash" she says making Allie even madder.

"How dare you calling me out in such a nasty behavior" Allie yell angrily pointing at Maddie.

"I'm not nasty, I'm matured unlike you" Maddie clapped back making Eli hold back his laughter.

"I'm about to settle the score with you, Madeline Snow!" Allie yells.

"Are you challenging me to a battle, Allie? because if you are, I accept on one condition, if I win, you'll give us the Poke Flute, no argument and if you win..." Maddie pulls out her Pokeball "Buneary's yours" she says shocking everyone minus Whitley.

That sparked Allie's interest "Allright then, I accept your terms Madeline" she says as she and Maddie walk toward a battle arena.

the group looks at Maddie and Allie walking off and follows them.

That's when Ash realizes something and looks at Eli "is this kind of why you hide Pikachu and Sylveon?" Ash asks the blue hair boy.

Eli nods "Yes, Ash, I knew a spoiled brat when I see one" he explains.

Gary nods "I see...you went a step ahead of Allie before she could notice them" he says making Eli nod again.

"Well, that's good" Serena says "I hope Maddie can come out on top" she says.

Whitley notices Serena's expression and chuckles lightly "there's no need to worry about Mads, she's stronger than she looks, you can ask Frostlass for proof" he reassure the brunette female making Serena blush and looks down.

they then arrived to the battlefield where Maddie's standing on one side while Allie and Furfrou are standing on the other side while Clemont was standing as the referee for the battle.

"Just to let you know Allie, this might be the first time we met, but this isn't the first time you met" Maddie says before pulling out her Poke ball "Lopunny, let's dance!" she shouts.

"Lopunny!?" Allie repeated as she sees Lopunny appearing in front of Allie glaring at her.

"Lopunny vs Furfrou in a one-on-one battle! the battle will be over when either Pokémon is unable to continue, agreed?" Clemont explains 

Maddie nods while keeping her eyes on Allie.

"that's fine with me"

"Alright, battle begin!" Clemont shout as the battle begin.

Maddie makes the first moves "Lopunny jump!" Maddie says as Lopunny begins to jump around the battlefield.

"Get her Furfrou use bite!" Allie commanded as Furfrou charges at Lopunny which rabbit Pokémon dodge with ease.

"Use Sky uppercut!" Maddie shouts as Lopunny's right paw light up and hits Furfrou in the gut causing the poodle pokemon to fall down harshly when it gets up it's fur got ruined "Now about a little Makeover shall we?" Maddie says as she rills up her sleeve is a bracelet with a key stone in it shocking everyone but Whitley.

"Is that a Key Stone?" Gary Questioned.

Allie snaps her fingers "Take Furfrou to the groomer asap" she tells her maid which she nodded and took Furfrou and looks up at Maddie with disappointment yet smiles "I admit defeat Madeline, maids, bring the flute" Allie tells the maid which she nod, and brings the Poke Flute to Maddie and the white hair female takes the flue and thanked the Maid.

Madeline looks at Allie and a idea came in her mind "Hey Allie, I want to make thing fair so, here" Maddie says as she hands her a Poke doll of a Buneary.

"You know I think this Buneary Poke doll deserve to have someone who can be there for her twenty-four seven, and since I'm a grown up, I barely have time for it, so what do you say Allie, will you accept this sign of respect?"

Allie looks at the doll and then at Maddie and smiles "well...if you insist" she says as she takes Maddie's doll and hugs it "is soft" she says.

"I'm counting on you in taking care of it, okay?" Maddie tells Allie.

the princess nods "You bet!" she states.

-time skip-

back at Camphrier Town where Snorlax stays asleep and everyone's waiting for the group to arrive which they did.

"Lord Shabonneau!" Ash says as he runs a head with the Poke Flute in hand.

"They're back!" the lady who talked to them when they first arrived stated.

"It's true! And with the Poke Flute!" Shabonneau adds with teary eyes of joy.

"We got it back just like we promised! now please play it!" Ash says as he hands the lord the Poke Flute.

Before Shabonneau could even play the flute, a mechanic hand snatched the Poke flute out of his hands Ash looks over and sees Team Rocket on the ceiling.

"I should've known it was you!"

"Prepare for trouble, You don't know much!"

"And Make it double, You're so out of touch!"

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all people within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of a twerp with a flute!"

"We extend our reach, then the problem is moot!"

"Jessie!"

"And James!"

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare for a musical fight!"

"Meowth that's right!"

"Wobbuffet!"

"Perfecto!" James says.

"the Flute that controls Snorlax, controls the world!" Jessie exclaims.

"Yeah, and that's the name of that tune!" Meowth adds.

Eli sweat drop "I don't think that's how the Poke Flute works" he mutters.

"I'm the only one who can play that Flute!" Shabonneau states.

"We'll see about that" Meowth says.

"We'll give it a test run and play a few riffs!" James adds.

"You guys really are looking for a dead wish are you" Eli asks the trio in the ceiling.

Jessie begins to play it but it was so bad that James, Meowth and Wobbuffet covered their...ears? 

"I tried to tell you nobody can play it but me" Shabonneau explains.

Suddenly Snorlax wakes up...but not happy.

"Snorlax woke up" Ash states.

"And that sound puts it in a bad mood" Shabonneau adds.

Snorlax looks up at Team Rocket angry that the sound woke him up.

"Oh, you're done for Team Rocket" Gary states.

Snorlax then uses Hyper beam and Team Rocket blasts off.

"We're blasting off again!"

"Wobbuffet!"

Eli sees the Poke Flute falling down and catches it not noticing the Snorlax standing behind him which Ash, Gary, and Clemont look worried.

"Eli!" the group called for the blue hair boy.

Eli looks over at Snorlax and then at the flute and takes a deep breath and put the flute in his mouth a begins to play and a beautiful sound is heard shocking everyone including Lord Shabonneau. For Ash and Gary, they find that melody a bit familiar, but they couldn't put a finger on where they heard it from. As Eli plays the flute, he and Snorlax walk together to the Pecha berries and Snorlax begins to eat happily; Eli stops playing and quickly cleans to tip and tosses to Shabonneau who then continues playing.

"Wow look at Snorlax go!" a kid says.

"Thanks for all your help again this year!" a towns lady thanked the lord.

then Snorlax finished eating all the food in one go

Eli petted Snorlax "I hope you enjoyed your food" Eli says with a smile Snorlax then picks Eli up and begins to dance with him making the blue hair boy laugh "Okay Snorlax, I would love to dance with you" he says before Snorlax put him down.

The two begins to perform together and Eli calls Sylveon to join them which the intertwining Pokemon did and uses moon blast and makes glittery explosions Eli pulls in a few people and children to dance along with them.

Ash, Gary, and Clemont were pouting at the sidelines 'Lucky Snorlax' they thought.

Serena Bonnie and the twins were laughing at the three; the lady was confused before seeing Eli and then a hit of realization came to her and then she also laughs. Eli and Snorlax share one final hug before Snorlax make its leave and dances off happily.

"Everything worked out just fine" Eli says as Maddie and Whitley walk up to the blue hair boy.

"Yeah, next stop, Cyllage city, right?" Whitley says as the others agree before they see fireworks starting.

The Poke Flute has been returned to its rightful owner and the bond between Snorlax and the town has been saved, thanks to our Heroes as the journey continues.
