Third Person's POV

Our heroes are on their way to Cyllage City sight on Ash and Eli's next Gym Battle as they were walking around the forest.

"Want some more Dedenne?" Bonnie asks her pokemon her Pokemon raises it's paw which it's a sign for a yes.

Eli sees this and smiles "it's good that Dedenne get fed but remember Bonnie, you must be cautious when it comes to balancing meals or else, you'll get a Chespin situation all over again" Eli explains to the blonde minor who nod in understanding.

"Oh really?" She asks.

Clemon nods agreeing with Eli "Yeah, so it's better give it at as specific time on a regular basis" Clemont answer.

Bonnie seemed to understand a bit "I see so I guess is best for Dedenne to not have any snack for now, because I'm sure it's satisfied, right?" Bonnie said making Serena turns to Eli and the siblings with a stick in her right hand and carrying her Fennekin with her left arm.

"Huh? At all?" she questioned as Fennekin takes a bite of the branch that Serena holds which made her let go as the fox pokemon munches on it.

"Hold on, I'm sure a little bit is okay, Serena" Clemont reassures the female.

"He's right, I give Pikachu's snacks but when it's time to eat a meal we're always hungry" Ash explains as he gives Pikachu a apple which the mouse Pokemon takes a bite of it.

"Pika!" Pikachu cried.

"How I don't feel surprised hearing that from you Ash?" Eli then questions with a dumbfounded look.

Gary sweat drops "Well, that's because the two of you like to eat a ton of food, so no one should be that surprise when we hear it from you" Gary said making the ravenette male frown at the tall brunette.

"what's that's supposed to mean?" Ash questioned.

Gary smirked "We both know it's true Ash" Gary teases.

"Why you-" Ash goes to argue before Eli gets in between the two Kantonians "alright you two, less arguing and more walking" he said before walking ahead while dragging Ash and Gary with him.

Bonnie looks at the three and giggled "Walk him like a Stoutland, sis" she said to Serena who laughed back.

"Walk them like a Stoutland!"(if you get the joke, I love you) she stated as Clemont, Maddie, Whitley, Umbreon, and Sylveon sweat drop.

They continue on walking catching up with the three childhood friends Maddie turns to Clemont "you sure know about Pokemon Clemont" she said making Clemont laugh.

"Sure, he does, Maddie! Remember he's the Lumiose Gym Leader, although he doesn't look like it" Bonnie said 

Clemont looked at his sister with a nervous expression "Doesn't look like it?" he questioned.

"There's a lot more I need to learn about being a trainer. for Fennekin and me" Serena said 

Whitley nodded "Part of being a good trainer is managing your Pokémon's health" he then explained which made Maddie cringe a bit.

"Worry Whi but you're making yourself sound like father" she said making her twin blush in embarrassment. 

"S-Sorry" he said.

Serena run a head and passes the three boys a head "I have a idea let's take a break! the next town shouldn't be far away" Serena suggested as she shows her guide.

"Sure, once we get there do you want to stop at the Pokemon Center?" Ash asked.

"Pika!" Pikachu cried.

"Yay! Hear that Dedenne?" Bonnie said before looking at her pokemon who she now noticed that the electric-fairy type pokemon is no longer in the bag "Huh? Dedenne disappeared!" she states out of panic making the others look at Bonnie surprised.

"Do not panic, I'm sure Dedenne went to find some trees to find some berries for it" Maddie said trying to keep the peace among the group.

"Yeah, Maddie's right let's all split into two groups and look for it" Gary states "Serena, Clemont, Maddie and Ash looks-" he tries to explain before being interrupted by a cry.

"Sylveon!" they all hear Sylveon cry with Dedenne on it's back who's happily eating an apple.

"Called it!" Maddie shouts.

-time skip-

Our heroes are currently waiting in a Pokemon Center in a town near the forest they were before.

"Hey, Eli I haven't got to ask you, but what is like being a Pokemon Coordinator?" Serena suddenly asks which Maddie and Whitley seems to be interested at the topic.

"Well it's a mix of being a strong trainer in both battling and visual wise, if you guys want a honest answer of how my first time competing in a Pokemon Contest, it was something out of my comfort zone since I wasn't used to be crowded by a bunch of people, it was overwhelming, but I'd manage to master the ropes with a help of a few kind coordinators who were nice to me enough to fully understand" the sky blue hair teen explains.

"was that in your days when you traveled to Sinnoh?" Ash questions.

Eli nods "Yes Ash, and there I met Haku, he was a big antisocial guy he isn't the guy that talks to you unless you talk to him first, I took the courage of taking the first step of being friends with him although it was a bit awkward but at least Sylveon got along with his Pachirisu" he then explains.

"Haku?" Ash and Gary say before going in thinking mode, they were sure they remember hearing that name before and then it clicked them.

"OH Haku! I remember him now, although we only met him once" Ash points out.

"Yeah, at the time when we met Riley and his Lucario back at that Island stopping team Galactic from causing trouble and their plan caused all steel type pokemon to drove insane including Riley's Lucario, luckily Haku manages to help us with this Pokemon" Gary adds.

"Well since the time we were traveling with him The Champion Cynthia herself offers Haku to train under her wing" Eli says.

"So, you knew he was trained under Cynthia!?" Ash question out of shock which Eli nod 

"I'd realizes around the times we visited Unova and trust me every time I see him battle it's like not just his Pokemon but also Haku himself were growing stronger and stronger he even drove all four Elite Four members to their limit while battling all four of them at the same time" Eli explains.

"At the same time!?" Clemont, Bonnie, and Serena question out of shock.

Eli nods "Yes, but I'm sort of switching the main topic, when I won the grand festival, I felt nothing but thrilled that I won, and then where my once best friend back stab me, not literally" he says reassuring that the last part didn't happen literally "when I found out that she was working for team plasma, I felt betrayed and I after me and some other coordinators manages to stop Team Galactic from crashing the Grand Festival I'd never heard anything from her ever since" he adds.

the group then hears a familiar sound coming from the door as Nurse Joy walks out with Wigglytuff who's pushing a rolling stray with many Poke balls and Pikachu who then jumps down from the stray and runs up to ash climbing up his shoulder while Sylveon and Umbreon run up to their respective trainers.

"All your pokemon are all in great health" Nurse Joy tell the group who then thanked her as the pinkette woman walks off to go back to her job.

"Hey, now that everybody's feeling good, why don't we have a battle?" Ash suggests.

"Yeah, that's a great Idea" Clemonts agrees.

"I think I saw a battlefield right out there" Serena points out while pointing at a window near her.

"Not like we have better plans" Maddie says as her twin brother agrees.

and with that Ash and the others runs outside not before Bonnie went towards her bag that she left in a near bench but little does she know there was a surprise coming her way

Ash and Maddie went towards the arena with Pikachu getting ready to battle.

"Say Maddie, what Pokemon are you gonna use" Gary asks the White hair female from the referee zone.

"Excavalier, come fort!" Maddie states as her bug and steel type Pokemon appears in front of her.

"Exca!" Excavalier cries.

"Good luck, both of you!" Serena cheers.

"Pikachu, and Excavalier, good luck to you too!" Bonnie adds as Whitley and Eli watches the battle in silence.

"Battle Begin!" Gary announces as both Maddie and Ash's battle starts.

"Well time to starts this off use Swords Dance!" Maddie states as Excavalier cries while it gets stronger.

"Okay, Pikachu, Use Iron Tail!" Ash yells

Pikachu jumps upward before his tail begin to glow energy.

"Counter it with Iron Defense!" Maddie yells as Excavalier's entire body gets covered in metal and blocks Pikachu's attack and both Pokemon grow a distance from each other.

"You're Excavalier sure is something, Maddie" Ash compliments the female.

"I can say the same thing about Pikachu it sure show that it's not a Pokemon to underestimate" Maddie replies.

"Sylveon!" Sylveon cries in cheering making Umbreon and Chespin who just got out of its Poke ball frown at Pikachu which Pikachu notice and smirks at them.

Meanwhile Serena, Bonnie, Eli, and Whitley are watching the battle.

"they're both Moving so well!" Serena states "And it's all because of Nurse Joy" she adds.

Bonnie notices her bag moving and ears begins to point out and to the blonde girl's confusion those ears aren't Dedenne's

"What's that?" Bonnie questions as Eli looks over at Bonnie and his eyes widen in realization.

Serena then looks over "is something wrong?" She asks.

"Those don't look like Dedenne's ears to me" Bonnie states while looking at the unfamiliar ears sticking out of the bag.

"I recognize those ears everywhere" Eli says as Whitley nods agreeing with the blue hair boy.

"Those are ears of a Pichu" Whitley states.

"A Pichu?" the two girls repeat.

The bag then opens revealing a small yellow mouse-like pokemon before looking up at Bonnie and Serena and jumps out of the bag looking at the four trainers terrified but then looks at Sylveon who looks back at Pichu

"Syl?" Sylveon walks up to Pichu with a friendly smile.

Serena pulls out her Pokedex pointing it at Pichu "what a total surprise and a very cute Pokemon too" Serena says.

"Pichu, the Tiny Mouse Pokémon. The electric sacs on Pichu's cheeks are small. If it tries to store more electricity than they can hold, Pichu will shock itself."

"Bonnie do you perhaps pick up the wrong bag by accident?" Eli hears Clemont asking as the blonde girl looks for Dedenne in the bag as she realizes.

"This isn't my bag!" she states causing Ash, Gary and Maddie to look over while Pikachu and Excavalier.

Maddie returns Excavalier back to its Poke ball and they all ran back inside the Pokemon Center to see if Bonnie's original bag was still in the bench, but it wasn't.

"Like Clemont said, I must have taken the wrong bag, by accident" she says sadly.

Eli feels sad for Bonnie, and he squats to her level "no need to worry, I'm for sure they haven't gone that far" he reassures her.

"Pichu" the Pichu cry sadly looking down as Sylveon pats the tiny mouse Pokemon with a reassuring smile.

"Veon" Sylveon cry.

Whitley walks towards the group "Guys I talk to Nurse joy and apparently according to her there was a girl around a little girl with a similar bag as Bonnie who came here with her big sister who happens to be a trainer" he tells them.

"Then that's it! did she ever tell you what the little girl looks like" Ash asks.

"She said that she only remembers that the little girl wears a red ribbon on her hair" Whitley explains.

"Always three steps ahead, are you Whitley?" Maddie asks her twin who laughs nervously.

"Like Eli said, they couldn't have gone too far, let's go look!" Ash suggests looking at the others who nod.

Bonnie looks down in sadness and guilt "It's my fault, I should've paid more attention" she says.

"Hey Bonnie, don't be so hard on yourself, it was accidental switcheroo" Eli tells the younger female.

"Eli's right, don't worry, we'll find Dedenne" Clemont adds.

Bonnie then nods "Okay" she mutters.

"And Pichu, we'll definitely find your trainer, I promise!" Ash says to the Tiny Mouse Pokemon as Pikachu cries agreeing with it's trainer.

Pichu nods as Eli gets up "I'll look around from the skies with Dragonair" Eli states before going outside pulling out a Pokeball but Gary stops him Eli looks at Gary confusedly "Gary?" he asks.

"I'm coming with you" he says pulling out a Poke ball as well "Aerodactyl, I need you!" 

"Dragonair, you too!" Eli shouts as both he and Gary throw their Poke balls and their Pokemon appear in front of them before Gary and Eli climb on their Pokémon's back with Umbreon and Sylveon climbing along.

"Aerodactyl, Dragonair we need to find a little girl with a red bow on her head, she has Dedenne by accident we need to find her just to make sure she and her older sister aren't out of town" Gary explains as Aerodactyl and Dragonair nod as they fly off.

Ash looks at the two trainer "Be careful, you two" Ash mutters before turning towards the others "the rest of us should be looking on land" the other nod in agreement.

"I think is better if we split into groups of three, Serena, Maddie and I will look from this direction and Ash, you, Bonnie and Clemont can look from the opposite direction" Whitley explains.

"And then we'll meet back here when we're done searching" Maddie adds.

everyone agrees and with that they went off to search for the red ribbon girl.

-Meanwhile-

Gary and Eli were flying around the sky while looking down looking for the little girl.

"Did you see her?" Gary asks

Eli shakes his head "No, you?" he asks back.

"Not even a toddler" Gary answers 

"Hey Gary, let's split up it'll widen up the search we'll meet back at the Pokemon Center if we found something" Eli suggests which Gary and Umbreon look at the Blue hair boy and intertwining Pokemon hesitant but they ended up agree and fly to different directions.

Eli continues on looking around he notices something on the ground, and he sees a little girl with dark turquoise hair she has orange eyes and wears a red ribbon headband; her hair is also tied up in lower pigtails she wears a blue dress with a bag similar to Bonnie's.

Eli smiles at this and pets Dragonair's head "down there" he tells the Dragon Pokemon who then nods and flies downward and lands in front of her unnoticing Eli's presence.

"Aw, I can only imagine the things you put your trainer through, with all of your games" the girl says.

Eli walks up to her "hello there" the girl hums question and looks over and sees Eli and her eyes widen with shock.

"y-you're...You're Eli!" the girl states as the Blue hair teen and his pokemon look at the girl with shock.

"you know me?" Eli asks.

the girl nods "Yeah! My older sister Lena's a big fan of yours we were surprised to see you back at the Pokemon Center, Lena wanted to asks you for a autograph but she's too shy to ask" she explains.

Eli then laughs "no wonder I heard a faint squeal" he says Dedenne then wakes up and sees Eli and Sylveon and jumps on the blue hair boy's shoulder which Eli laughs again "hello to you too, Dedenne" he says.

"So is Dedenne your pokemon?" the girl asks.

Eli shakes his head "no it belongs to my friend Bonnie as you can already tell both you and Bonnie have the same bag and you accidentally took her bag instead of yours" he tells the little girl.

the girl nod "yeah, I was on my way to get back to the pokemon Center to return Dedenne back to its' trainer" she explains.

"Well, I believe Bonnie and the rest of my friends are having the same Idea since they were actually looking for you along with your Pichu" Eli says.

The girl sigh with relief "at least I know that Pichu's okay" she says.

"don't worry, I'll make sure to find the others and-" Eli says before noticing something up in the sky Dedenne looks up and smiles before looking forward before jumping down and points forward and cries at Eli "Clemont!" Eli states as Dedenne cries happily before running away "woah, wait Dedenne!" Eli says before he and the little girl run after the blue boy who then notice "he I didn't catch your name, yet" he tells her.

"Oh, my name is Lyn!" she tells the blue hair boy.

"I'll remember that" Eli says as the continue on following Dedenne not noticing a explosion from a far Distance from them.

-Meanwhile-

"Yup, I knew it!" Serena states as she and the others now have messed up hair due to the explosion.

"It went boom too" Bonnie comments.

"Hey guys!" everyone looks up and see Gary flying down towards them "I saw a explosion and I found you all gathered here, what's going on" he asks.

"Oh no to think it works perfectly" Clemont says with teary eyes.

"Looks like we're going to have to search for the little girl on foot again" Ash says before turning to Gary "Also did you find anything, where's Eli?" he asks his childhood friend.

"Eli thought it was a best Idea if we split up to wide up the search and so far, I haven't found any signs of the little girl" the tall brunette male explains.

"Pichu!" everyone hears a unfamiliar voice as Pichu jumps out of the bag and runs up to a average height female with long dark turquoise hair and orange eyes wearing a mustard yellow long sleeve vest over a dark gray shirt some lighter shade of gray pants some yellow socks with dark red and orange shoes and she carries a pink backpack with burgundy color straps.

"Pichu, thank goodness" the girl says as Pichu cries happily and the trainer and pokemon share a warm embrace, but she notices "Where did Lyn go" she asks the tiny mouse Pokemon who tilts its head and cries sadly.

"Um, are you..." Clemont says gaining the female's attention.

the girl then gets up "I remember you from the Pokemon Center!" she states and then notices Gary "and You're Gary Oak, Eli's best friend"

"wait you know Eli!?" Serena questions out of shock.

the girl sweat drops "it's a long story" she explains.

"So that means you're Pichu's trainer?" Ash questions.

"Yes, I am, my name's Lena; were you the ones who found Pichu?" the female named Lena asks.

Maddie looks at Lena unsurely "I don't think found is the right word to put on this situation" she says as she fixes her hair.

Bonnie then notices Dedenne not being with Lena "where's Dedenne?" she questions out of worry.

this caught Lena by surprise and then realizes "Oh, now I see what the problem is... my little sister Lyn must have took your bag by accident mistaking it for hers" Lena says

"Okay where is she?" Ash asks.

Lena looks at Ash sadly "the thing is I don't know" she says with worry which makes the group look at Lena with shock.

Whitley crosses his arms "not me just guessing over here, but I'm guessing that she realized that she was carrying the wrong bag and tries to find a way back to the Pokemon Center, and probably didn't tell you because she wouldn't wanted you to be worried for Pichu even though it'll end up making you worry more about her" Whitley says.

Lena looks at Whitley with shock "that would be something she would do, but I didn't think she would actually do it" she says "and I would also think she's looking for Pichu, now" Lena adds as Pichu looks up at its trainer.

"I see... But you don't know where, right?" Ash then asks.

Lena shakes her head "I don't; I've been looking for her everywhere I can think! For all I know, she might have left town" she explains nervously.

Gary looks up as Clemont notices "something wrong Gary?"

"I'm just thinking about Eli, what if he manages to find Lyn?" he says "but knowing Dedenne it would have run off without even telling them" Gary says as Umbreon looks down in sadness and worry for the intertwining Pokemon.

Ash and Clemont hear this and look down of worry for the blue hair guys but then the three boys then shake their heads.

"Eli wouldn't wanted us to get worried, we know he's strong, so we shouldn't worry too much" Ash states as Pikachu cries agreeing with Ash thinking about Sylveon.

Lena smiles "you guys really do care about Eli, huh?" she asks making the three boys blush and look away as the girl giggles and Whitley shakes his head and chuckles silently.

"Alright, guys we've got to get moving and find Lyn, right away!" Whitley says "why don't we split up into groups again to wide up the search" he adds as Ash and the other agree with the White hair male.

-Meanwhile-

Eli and Lyn who was riding on Dragonair follow Dedenne as Eli notice that they're out of town and he looks at Sylveon "Sylveon, go after Dedenne and don't get it out of your sight!" he tells his partner who nods and runs ahead of its trainer and he and Lyn then sees Dedenne and Sylveon running in a garden full of grapes "this is a grape farm" Eli says before frowning.

Lyn notices "something wrong?" she asks.

Eli looks at the little girl with a reassuring smile "Lyn, I want you to stay here and wait for me, Dragonair you stay with Lyn and protect her while I'll catch up with Dedenne and Sylveon, okay?" he instructs them which they nod as Eli walks in.

"be careful, Eli" he hears a familiar Phrase making him look back at Lyn with a smile.

"I will, I promise" he says before leaving. 

As he runs deep in the grape trees and looks around and then sees Dedenne and Sylveon running pass them, and he follows them; when he catches up to Dedenne and Sylveon he then notices a Beedrill flying after them.

"Are you fucking serious?" he questions as Dedenne barely gets hit by Beedrill sting.

Dedenne uses thunder shock and hits the Beedrill before Eli catches the electric and Fairy type.

"Got you!" Eli states as Dedenne and Sylveon cry but Sylveon growl as Eli and the two Pokemon see a bunch of more Beedrills "you've got to be fucking kidding me!" he curses before pulling out two more Poke balls "Braixen, Gardevoir, I need your help!" he calls out his Pokemon who cry determine.

"Bra!/Voir!" 

"Sylveon!/Nene!" Sylveon and Dedenne cry as well.

"Everyone attack! Gardevoir use Shadow Ball, Braixen use Flamethrower, Dedenne Thunder shock, and Sylveon Moon Blast!" Eli commands as the four Pokemon fire their respective moves causing all the Beedrills to retreat after the explosion the move caused.

"they did it!" Lyn cheer as Dragonair hums.

"Lyn!" Lyn hears a familiar shout she looks over and sees Lena her older sister running up to her along with Ash and the others.

"It's Lena!" Lyn states as Dragonair helps Lyn down,

Lyn runs up to her sister and hugs her "I'm sorry I made you worry; I was trying to find the Pokemon Center to return Dedenne to it's trainer, but it run off and met Eli in the process" Lyn explains while sobbing.

"Met Eli?" Lena repeats.

Eli then walks out of the garden with Dedenne in hands while Gardevoir Braixen and Sylveon follow behind him.

"Dedenne!" Boonie runs up to Dedenne who then jumps out of Eli's arms and in Bonnie and the two embrace.

Eli then sees Lena "you've must be sister who's a fan of mine, are you?" he asks making the older sister blush and looks at Lyn.

"What did you tell him!?" Lena asks out of panic.

"N-Not much" she says before sniffing.

Lena sigh and hugs her sister back "at least I know that you're safe" she tells her sister and looks back at Eli "I can't thank you enough" she thanks the blue hair male who. shakes his head.

"I wouldn't leave just pure soul alone in the streets all by herself" Eli explains with a smile "Also if you want a autograph you could've ask, but I can't blame you for be shy, I will react the same if we swap life roles" he tells Lena.

Lena laughs nervously "y-yeah" she says.

"I'm just glad everyone's alright" Maddie says as Whitley nods in agreement.

Clemon Ash and Gary were smiling but they have a thought that they're keeping on repeat 'she's just a fan, she's just a fan' they say in their minds.

-time skip-

Eli and Serena prepare dinner for everyone.

"Eli, I know that you wanted to help cooking but you really shouldn't have to" Serena says to Eli feeling a bit bad that was doing so much today.

"You said it yourself Sese(Pronounce Cee-Cee) I want to, now let's get go we have hungry trainers waiting for us" he says as he and Serena go on and places the bowl of spaghetti on the table and Serena finishes serving tea.

"All ready!" Serena says.

"Dig in, everyone!" Both Eli and Serena say.

Ash and Gary were looking at the spaghetti drooling which Lena sweat drop at this. 

"Is Eli's cooking that good?" Lena asks

Ash and Gary nods "the thing is we haven't taste any of Eli's cooking in a long time, and we kind of miss them, although I heard Eli left a cooking book to Azul who he gave to Brock before we met up with him in Hoenn" Gary explains.

"Azul?" Lyn quesions.

"One of my closest friends of mine that lives in Kanto, speaking of Kanto I should give him a call, to check on how's he doing?" Eli wonders "now come on and eat, before it gets cold" Eli then says as everyone agrees.

"Thank you very much!" they all chanted as Clemont and Lena notice Dedenne and Pichu leaning back as if they're already full.

the two then get up from the table as they see their younger sisters tiptoeing away "Hold it right there, Lyn; have you been giving out snacks again?" Lena asks.

"Bonnie, I told you" Clemont says to his younger sister.

Bonnie and Lyn jump before looking back with a wink and hung out their tongues and run off as Lena and Clemont chase after the two younger girls while Dedenne and Pichu cheer and Eli laughs.

Now that happily Dedenne's back with Bonnie and Pichu's back with Lyn another step in a young girl journey to one day become a trainer and another girl that one day she'll find what goal suits her best, as our heroes' journey continues.

-meanwhile at a airport-

a light tan skinned girl with a average height. She wears grayish chartreuse green contact lenses, pale vermilion lipstick, and a long, hip-length auburn wig with blunt bangs and two shorter pieces framing her face, which is loosely tied near the ends with orange bands; She has multicolored wristbands on her right arm. She wears a brilliant vermilion jacket over a dark gray romper that has tiny white spots and a ribbon bow. Additionally, she wears light gray leggings and brown ankle-length high heel boots.

"so...you're here too" she says as she sees a video clip of a certain Blue Hair Male performing at a kindergarten "looks like we're crossing paths after so long...Eli" she smirks before walking out of the airport and heads straight to the Pokemon Center

When she arrives to the Center, the female goes to one of the phone booths and makes a call "It's Lila, I'd arrived to Kalos, after collaborating with Team Flare, you handle the rest while I'm gone" she says and nods before hanging up the phone "well, now up to make a name for myself" the girl named Lila says before making her leave to who knows where "I've seen that you've gotten better, but so am I... Just you wait...Eli" Lila smirks.
