Third Person's POV 

With entry into the Kalos League driving Eli forward, half of our heroes now heads towards Cyllage City home of Eli's second Kalos Gym battle.

Eli was in deep thought and feels extremely bad for leaving his friends like that in the dirt although he left them a note but still it made him feel like he's back to square one when he was traveling alone, he's for sure that Ash and Gary would be upset about this.

'I wonder how they are doing now?' Eli questioned to himself as he sighed.

Sylveon noticed its trainer's expression and decided to use its ribbons and wraps it around Eli's hand and rubs its face on Eli's leg which made him look down on his Pokemon and petted Sylveon's head.

"Thanks, Sylveon...you really made my day a little better" he tells the intertwining Pokemon who smiled at him.

"Syl!" Sylveon cried happily.

Meanwhile Maddie and the new guy named Whitley were interacting with one another, Eli didn't quite catch on in what were they chatting about, but he can tell that's something important, so he won't push them to tell him he barely knows Whitley, and he started to get to know Maddie.

Eli looks up at the sky "I guess we have to stay and camp for the night" he said.

Maddie also looks up at the sky "Yeah, Eli's right we should camp" she suggested as Whitley nodded at the white hair female.

Whitley looks at Eli and walks up to him and reaches a handout to him "I believe that we haven't formally introduce ourselves, my name is Whitley I'm Maddie's twin brother" Whitley introduces himself.

Whitley has white hair and light blue eyes with a fair complexion. His hair is mostly pushed to left, although he does have a cowlick. Whitley is fairly tall with a slender build and stands a few inches taller than his older twin Maddie. His attire consists of a short-sleeved white dress shirt, the sleeves fastened just above his elbows by navy blue cuffs, each with twin gold buttons. Over his untucked shirt, he wears a light blue vest, with a black handkerchief in his right breast pocket. He also wears a black necktie, navy blue trousers and black dress shoes.

Eli nodded as he could tell the similarities between the two "I can tell the similarities between the two of you, and is nice to meet you, I'm Eli and this is Sylveon" he said as he takes Whitley's hand and shakes it.

"Sylveon" Sylveon cried at Whitley who smiled at the intertwining Pokemon.

"By just looking at Sylveon I can tell that it's strong" Whitley then said.

Eli nodded "Yeah, Sylveon has been with me from all my life since I first started my journey" he explained.

-little time skip-

"Well time to eat everyone" Eli said as he hands his Pokemon bowls of Pokemon food.

Along with Maddie's Froslass, and her new Pokemon, Lopunny and Escavalier

Whitley only took out a Pawniard who joined Eli and Maddie's Pokemon and they all grew a fond with one another.

"Wow Maddie other than Froslass you have a Lopunny and a Escavalier while Whitley has a Pawniard?" the sky-blue hair male said as the twins nodded at him. 

"Yeah, I'd caught Lopunny when it was a Buneary when I visited Sinnoh" Maddie explained.

"You went to Sinnoh?" Eli asked.

Maddie nodded "yeah but only because of family business purposes" she explained "Escavalier was a gift from my grandfather before he passed away he wanted me to have him it was a struggle at first but then shortly he seemed protective of me, I'm surprised that Escavalier didn't acted defensive with you or your Pokemon, he normally doesn't do that" Maddie confesses. 

"I raised Pawniard since it was a egg, so let's say we're super close like Pawniard is the sibling I didn't know I have" Whitley explained of how he met Pawniard.

Eli smiled at the twins' stories as he pulls out the Pokedex.

'Pawniard, the Sharp Blade Pokémon. Pawniard's entire body is made of blades which it uses to inflict damage on its opponent.'

'Lopunny, the rabbit Pokémon, and the evolved form of Buneary. Lopunny's ears appear to be delicate. If they are touched roughly, it kicks with its graceful legs.'

'Escavalier, the Cavalry Pokémon and the evolved form of Karrablast. Escavalier's body is protected by steel armor.'

"Wow those are really awesome, Pokemon you guys have" Eli complimented them.

The twins smiled "Thanks, Eli" they both said before looking at each other and laugh.

Before they heard the sound of ruffling bushes Escavalier noticed and took a stand guard "stay down Escavalier" Maddie commanded her bug and steel-type Pokemon.

Eli slowly walks closer to the bush until a familiar Black and yellow Pokemon walked out of the bushes making Eli and Maddie's eyes widen.

"Umbreon!" they yelled as the mentioned Pokemon looked over at them and sees Sylveon and smiles brightly, Umbreon runs up to the intertwining pokemon and snuggles with Sylveon.

"If Umbreon's here then that means..." Maddie said before Eli cut her off.

"Gary and the others must had gotten out of the mansion" he said.

"Gary?" Whitley questioned.

"One of my traveling companions who I unfortunately have to go separate for a moment, I believe Maddie told you about that" Eli explained.

Whitley nodded "I see..." he said.

"Umbreon? where you go buddy?" Eli heard a familiar voice and his sees shocked when he sees Maddie and Eli again "Eli!" he said with relief and runs up to him "you're okay! you really scared us to death back there!" He yelled at the blue hair boy but Eli know that yelling was out of worry.

Eli bowed to the tall Brunette male "I'm very sorry that we got separated unfairly, I understand that you're mad at me and I'm sorry I worried you...again I didn't mean to scare you guys, and-" Eli was apologizing before Gary cut him off by pulling him into a tight embrace which caught him off guard "G-Gary?" he questioned.

"I-I... I'm just glad you're okay" he said before narrowing his eyes at Umbreon nuzzling Sylveon who looks at another direction with a embarrassed blush "looks like Umbreon was finding Sylveon's sent that's how he found you" Gary explained.

Eli nodded "can tell that as well" he said as he slowly hugs Gary back "but back to you, I'm sorry I worry you" he then said.

Gary lays his left cheek on the shorter male's head "Is okay, like I said earlier, I'm glad you're okay. That's what matters now" he said.

Eli blushes and nodded and luckily his face is buried in Gary's chest so Gary wouldn't notice Eli's blush.

Whitley walks up to them "hello I'm Whitley, I'm Maddie's twin brother" he introduces himself.

Gary looks at Whitley and nodded "Gary Oak, nice to meet you" he said.

Maddie then joins the three males "I'm the one who should be apologizing, Gary I was the one who suggested Eli that we should leave you guys behind" she apologized.

"No Maddie, you did him a favor, and I wanted him to leave the mansion" Gary assures the white hair female.

Eli looks up at Gary "you wanted me to leave?" he asked.

"I didn't want you to be in more danger, even if you know how to take care of yourself" Gary explained "I-I couldn't help it" he admits.

Eli remembers something "Speaking of help? how are the others, Ash, Bonnie, Serena, Clemont?" Eli then asked.

Gary nodded "they're okay it turns out that the house's light and door incident was caused by a Espurr" he explained.

"Espurr?" Eli repeated.

Gary nodded "yeah, right now everyone's doing great and Espurr send team Rocket flying like nothing" he explained.

"That must be one strong Espurr alright" Whitley stated as Maddie nodded in agreement.

"I went wondering around to see if I could find another Pokemon for me to do research on" Gary then said.

Eli tilted his head "really did you found any new Pokemon yet?" he then asked.

Gary shook his head "so far, no new pokemon around" he responded.

"I see" Eli said before something came up in his mind "should we go and check on the others?" he decided to ask.

Gary nodded "sure, I'm sure Bonnie misses you" he said before chuckling making Eli laugh as well before turning to the twins who are putting the bowls away "you're welcome to tag along if you guys want" Gary offers.

Whitley shrugs "I haven't set up my tent yet, so why not" he said.

Maddie nods "Then let's go" she said as Eli, Whitley and herself returned their pokemon leaving only Sylveon out as they all went back to where Ash and the others are located, and they see them looking around like there's someone missing.

"Guys what's going on?" Gary asked making the others looks at him.

"Is Chespin it's gone" Serena explained to Gary.

"Chespin's gone?" they then hear Eli questioning.

"Eli!" Ash, Bonnie, Serena, and Clemont stated as they see their blue head friend.

Maddie looks around "he couldn't have gone that far" she said

"Maddie, you're here too" Bonnie said.

Clemont then sees Whitley "I'm sorry but who are you?" he asked the white hair male.

"I'm Whitley I'm Maddie's twin brother we happened to meet each other along the way" he said "I think is too late to look for let's all continue tomorrow so we can have enough strength to look for Chespin" Whitley suggested as the other agreed.

-the next day-

Our heroes continue on searching for Chespin and so far, there are no signs or traits of the Grass starter pokemon.

"Chespin can you hear us!?" Ash calls Chespin.

Serena looks around "I hope we can find it soon" she said.

"Maybe Chespin doesn't like us anymore" Bonnie said making Clemont flinch and hung his head low.

Eli sees this and pats his blonde friend's head "hey cheer up Clemont, we'll find Chespin, I'm sure that what Bonnie said is not the reason why Chespin took off I bet that it smelled something delicious that it went off following the smell" Eli assures the blonde male.

Clemont turns his head towards him "let's widen up the search, Maddie, you and Serena can search in that direction, Ash Gary you two can go search a head from this river, the rest of us let's stay together and continue on searching let's meet up back here when we're done" Eli said which everyone agree Ash and Gary were hesitant on leaving Eli with Clemont and this new guy, but they have a feeling that he'll be the least of their worries.

Bonnie raises a hand "I'm going with Serena and Maddie!" she stated as she ran off.

Once the others leave Whitley shrug "is just us three now" he said as Eli nodded at him.

"Alright, let's go" he blue hair male said running a head while Sylveon follows him with Whitley and Clemont following behind him.

Eli then notices Chespin eating a macarons with a elder woman as Clemont and Whitley caught up with Eli and watch the scene also.

"So dear, do you like the macarons that I'd baked" she asked Chespin who cried happily "why that's wonderful! You may eat as much as you like!" She said as Chespin looks up at the lady with glisten up eyes.

"It looks so happy" Clemont muttered but Eli heard him as the blue hair male look back at Clemont

"Clemont..." he muttered but low enough for none of them not to hear Eli then sees Clemont walking off Eli looks at Whitley "Whitley-" he was gonna ask Whitley, but he cut him off.

"I'll stay here and watch, you check on him" Whitley tells him.

Eli nodded and patted the white hair male's shoulder "thanks Whitley" Eli said before walking off after Clemont "Clemont wait!" Eli calls the blonde male who slowly turns to Eli as tears were rolling down his face making him gasped with shock and stop running and stand in front of Clemont "Clemont... Why are you crying...is it because of Chespin?" he asked.

Clemont looks at Eli for a moment "n-no not really... I-Is just... am I a bad trainer?" he questioned before being pulled to a embrace by the blue hair male "Eli?" he questioned.

"Clemont, you're a lot of things...but you're not a bad trainer...Chespin is just unexperienced. But I can tell that it'll grow to learn with time and is not your fault, you just need to consider more about how Chespin was feeling" Eli said "I know it sounded cold but is true, and I doubt that Chespin stop caring about you, you're its trainer, not her" he added as Clemont's eyes wield up in tears again and cries on Eli's shoulder and Eli hugs Clemont closer who hugs him back wrapping his arms around Eli's waist making him realize something while hugging the other male.

'His waist...is small' Clemont thought before sniffling "What did I ever done to deserve someone like you?" He questioned between sobs.

Eli chuckled "just say that you're Lucky" he responded.

They then pull away from each other but just when Eli was about to turn around Clemont pulls Eli close to his face and... presses his lips with his own which made Eli widen his eyes out of shock...despite him giving some of his other male friends a kiss on the cheek he'd never had a kiss on the lip Sylveon was watching the scene freaked out when they move away from each other Clemont realized what he just did and turns red out of embarrassment.

"I-I'm sorry Eli I-I... well I-I-" Clemont tried to speak but he seemed struggling.

Eli places his hands on Clemont's shoulders calming him down "Calm down Clemont, it was just the moment, I shouldn't be more careful...I'm sorry" he said

Clemont shakes his head rapidly "N-No you were being genuine, and honest still sorry for stealing you a kiss" he tells him.

"I-Is okay... I rather have my first actual kiss with someone I know rather than a stranger" Eli confesses.

Clemont blushes "w-wait it was your first!?" he questioned with disbelief Eli nodded which he turns pale as if he could feel Ash and Gary's glares from way far away from them "I-I'm so dead" he muttered.

"What was that?" Eli asked. 

Clemont shakes his head "It's nothing I'm just thinking out loud" he tells the blue hair male.

"Okay, but let's head back with Whitley he might be bored as hell just seeing Chespin bonding with a strange woman" he tells Clemont who nodded and walk back with Eli to get Whitley.

-Meanwhile-

Whitley sees Chespin still eating the Macaron while the woman was still sitting next to it.

"Eating my macarons, seems to make you happy!" she said as Chespin cried happily "I'm glad that you're enjoying them so much" she added.

Whitley frowned annoyingly "Why did I agree to do this again?" he muttered to himself before hearing a elderly voice yelling from the inside of the home.

"I'm home!" the voice said which is a voice of a old man.

"Well seems like Wylie's come back" the old woman said as Chespin looked at the direction the Lady look at. 

"Home again, home again" the voice said as Whitley slowly gets up and moves to a closer hiding place.

"I was just thinking" the Lady said before looking at Chespin "there's something you can do for me" she then said making Chespin almost choked on the macaron that it has on its mouth.

Whitley founded a hiding place to have a closer look at what he managed to hear is that something about the lady finding a Pokemon that could beat Wylie's Delphox 

"Ha! A grass type, eh? that's just fine, on one condition. If I win, you'll forgive me for what I said yesterday" Wylei said 

"All Right, if I win..." she said while picking up a freaked out Chespin "you'll have to apologize to me!" She said.

Whitley tried to get closer to the conversation until he feels a hand on his shoulder and cover his mouth before the white hair boy "I'm not gonna hurt you I promise" a gentle yet calm raspy voice was heard from behind Whitley he doesn't know why but he feels like he can trust him. 

-scene change-

"now today's gonna be the day that I finally beat you in a Pokemon battle" The Grandma said to the old man who scoffs at her "Alright Chespin?" she said before Chespin tried to talk to the old lady but she's to focus on the woman.

"Alright then, here we go Delphox, come on out!" Wylei said as a big red and yellow humanoid fox-like Pokemon appeared howling at Chespin who flinched. 

meanwhile Whitley was watching and pulls out his Pokedex "Delphox..." he muttered.

'Delphox, the Fox Pokémon, and the final evolved form of Fennekin. When Delphox stares into the flame on the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, it creates a white-hot spiral of fire with its psychic power.'

"I'm sorry that your Chespin was forced to battle grandpa's Delphox" the male said to Whitley which it caught him off guard.

Whitley waves him off "w-wait Chespin's not my Pokemon" he said before being cut off by Wylei's yelling.

"Will-O-Wisp" Wylei commanded as Delphox pulls out its branch out of its fur and the tip light up a purple-ish blue flame and lunches it at the Spiny nut Pokemon which the move barely hits the Grass type out of luck for the grass type but caused big explosion catching Ash and the others' attention from where they are "Alright how about we wrap things up" he said "Delphox use Flamethrower!" Wylei yelled as his Delphox launches fire at Chespin which it freaks out.

"I can't believe I made myself do this" Whitley said to himself before launching himself as he grabs the chubby pokemon and rolls away he was able to dodge the attack, but his left shoulder wasn't as lucky as the rest of his body Making him scream in agony surprising the elder duo.

As Whitley falls on his back and winced while holding his right shoulder with one hand and held Chespin with the other 

"Chespin Ches!" Chespin cried at the White hair male with concern despite not knowing who he is.

Whitley gives the Spiny nut Pokemon a weak smile "I'll be okay, I'm a friend of Eli, my name is Whitley, nice to meet you" Whitley introduces himself.

"Oh no!" the elders heard another voice, and their eyes widen to see who it was.

"Calem!?" they stated as they see the mentioned trainer running up to Whitley.

Calem is a bit tall for his age and thin boy, and has straight, chin length black hair with gray eyes and wears a dark red hat with sunglasses. He also wears a blue track jacket with white stripes, navy blue slim fit pants, and black boots with blue laces. He carries around a black messenger bag with blue decals on it. He has a Mega Ring on his left wrist.

"Whitley!" the mentioned White hair male heard his twin sister's voice as he looks to the side and sees Maddie and the others running up to him as he gets up Maddie gasped "Whitley your shoulder" she stated as smoke were shown on his shoulder.

"I'll take care of it, don't worry too much, I'm sorry if I did worry you" Whitley said as Calem runs up to the white hair male.

"Are you okay?" he asked with concern.

"Calem?" Serena questioned recognizing the tall male who then turned to the Honey blonde female.

"Oh Serena, you've finally started your journey?" Calem asked her.

"You know him, Serena?" Gary questioned the honey blonde female.

Serena nodded "yeah, Calem and I used to go to school together back at Vaniville Town" She explained.

Whitley hands Clemont Chespin "here you go" Whitley said as Clemont takes Chespin as he walks up to the elder duo.

"I'm sorry, you see Chespin's my Pokemon" Clemont apologizes to the lady who rested her hands on her hip.

"Well, what do you know? Looks like I'd made quite a mistake" she said.

Wylei thinks for a moment "if you tell it in this way that makes me the winner again, and Sorry about your shoulder, kiddo" he said before looking at Whitley apologetically.

Whitley waves the old man off "is nothing to worry too much, I'm sure that it won't be that bad" he assured the old man.

"Allow me to check on it if you let me" Calem offers which Whitley was caught off guard.

"I... sure" Whitley said with a bit of hesitation.

Calem noticed "can you trust me?" Calem asked with a warm smile.

Whitley sighed "you see, I don't asked people for help, normally I take care of my own problems, but sure" he explained as both Calem and Whitley walk in the house "I also have a medical kit in my bag" Whitley added as he pulls out a white box from his backpack.

Chespin sees the old lady feeling down about the result as Chespin run up and looks up at Delphox determined which surprises both Clemont and the Old Lady.

Calem turned and noticed this "Granny, it seems like Chespin wants to continue" Calem explained.

"Speaking of continue, when did you get here, Calem?" Wylie asked the taller black hair male.

"Well, I came here from Cyllage city since mom said that you two were having a fight...again" Calem explained "but right now I'll be checking on...uh" Calem added but he didn't catch Whitley's name.

"Whitley" Whitley said to him.

Calem nods "I'm Calem, nice to meet you" he said as they both then walked in.

Meanwhile Clemont stood up and looks at the old lady "Chespin and I would like to finish the battle for you ma'am, please" he offered before bowing to her "I'm going to think about Chespin's feelings more by doing that somehow I think it'll help me grow as a person and a trainer" Clemont explained as Eli smiled at Clemont's words.

"Not sure what you mean by that but anyways, I'd be pleased to let you battle for me, and I'll be more pleased if you win" she said as Clemont sighed with relief "that old man owes me an apology, got it?" she then tells Clemont which Clemont looks at her confusingly which she turns to Wylie "Wylei is it okay with you?" she asked.

Wylei turned to the side and sighed "Uh, okay if that how the boy feels" he said.

"Thank you very much" Clemont thanked before Eli walks up to Clemont and gives him a peck on the cheek which caught the blonde male off guard.

"For good luck" Eli said before walking back to where a jealous Ash & Gary, a giggling Serena & Maddie, and a fangirling Bonnie were standing.

Clemont shakes his head out of his lovestruck state "you ready to go Chespin?" he questioned his Pokemon who cried determinedly.

"Sylveon!" the intertwining Pokemon runs up to Chespin and kisses its head "Sylveon!" it cried at Chespin with cheering making Chespin grow more determine as Sylveon runs back to its trainer Pikachu and Umbreon sees this and frown out of jealousy.

"Chespin sure looks like it means business now" Maddie commented looking at Chespin's determination.

Serena nods "And I don't think Clemont's feeling down anymore thanks to Eli" she added.

"Alright you can do it you two!" Bonnie cheered for her brother and the Spiny nut Pokemon

Ash and Gary on the other hand they frown along with their pokemon "it should've been me" they muttered annoyingly.

"Pika/Umbre" Pikachu and Umbreon cried in the same tone as their trainers.

the Old Lady went to officiate the battle "Here we go, and battle begin!" she announced as Wiley takes the first move.

"Will-O-Wisp!" he yelled as Delphox lunches Will-O-Wisp at Chespin.

"Now Chespin, dodge by rolling!" Clemont yelled as Chespin jump and roll successfully dodging the Will-O-Wisp 'It's no good making Chespin attack with a full stomach, but if it can keep moving and stay out of the way...' Clemont thought as he then hears Chespin's cry.

Eli looks at his Pokedex reading the information about Delphox 'According to the Pokedex Delphox is a Psychic type so Clemont and Chespin have to be careful incase Delphox does know a Psychic-type move' he thought.

"Delphox use flamethrower!" Wylei commanded as Delphox lunches a blast of flames from its branch.

"Alright Chespin, drop and roll" Clemont said as Chespin dodges Delphox' flamethrower attack multiple times.

"I don't know Chespin just keeps rolling" Bonnie said worriedly.

"it's his strategy working? it's really hard to tell" Ash then said

Serena joins in "I'm starting to think that it is" she said "Being rounder helps it to roll around" she added.

Maddie nodded "You're right, Serena. It was a bad Idea for Chespin to battle with a full stomach from whatever it ate earlier. So, Clemont is making Chespin dodge by rolling instead of running" Maddie tells them as Eli nodded agreeing with her.

"Oh, yeah. Maybe that'll keep Chespin from getting hit" Bonnie then said with realization as Gary then nodded.

"That's exactly right, Bonnie" He said

"Will-O-Wisp" Wylie yelled as Delphox uses Will-O-Wisp again as Chespin dodges successfully again.

"It is working! Now Chespin's starting to move faster and faster" Ash stated as Eli nodded.

"That's right, it's the best strategy for someone or some Pokemon with a full stomach" Eli agrees.

"Yay, Chespin, way to go!" Bonnie cheered.

"Sylveon!" Sylveon cried cheering for Chespin.

"Chespin feeling good?" Clemont asked his Pokemon.

"Chespin!" The spiny nut Pokemon cried since it's miraculously seemed to be no longer round.

"Use tackle!" Clemont said as Chespin charges at the Fox Pokemon and hits before Wiley could even tell a command to Delphox "Alright, now Chespin's moving like it's regular self" Clemont said as Chespin runs back to Clemont as they high-five each other making Eli smile more.

"I told you so!" Eli yelled at Clemont.

"Alright! Let's keep it up, use vine whip!" Clemont commanded as Chespin jumped and uses vine whip only for Delphox to slaps it away with its branch.

"That won't work on us" Wylei said making Clemont gasped.

"Oh no!" Clemont panicked.

"Use Flamethrower!" Wylie yelled as Delphox uses flamethrower and it hit Chespin making it falls hard on the ground as the gang watches with horror/shock.

Eli looks at the old man and his Delphox 'not gonna lie he is good for be a old man' he thought before looking back at Chespin 'Come on Clemont, Chespin...I know you can do it' he added.

"Please, Chespin. You've just got to get up, I believe in you!" Clemont begged Chespin who seemed to be struggling to get up.

"Sylveon!" Sylveon cried at Chespin who looked at the intertwining Pokemon cheering for it "Sylve! Sylveon!" it cried making Chespin looked at Sylveon with awe and but quickly changed to determine and does a kick up.

"Chespin Ches!" Chespin cried determine as a light green aura surrounded Chespin.

"What's going on?" Serena asked.

Eli and Gary immediately recognize the ability "Overgrow!" they both stated.

"Overgrow! Chespin's Special Ability, when Chespin's in bad shape its grass type moves get stronger" Clemont explained as he looks relieved "Yes! It's time to really show them" Clemont then said "Vine whip, let's go!" Clemont commanded as Chespin uses vine whip but this time it hits Delphox forcing it to drop its branch "great that's the way to do it" Clemont cheered.

"Pin, Pin!" Chespin cried smiling at its trainer who smiled back.

"I've still got a trick or two up my sleeve!" Wylie said "I didn't think I'd need to use this but I'm gonna and that'll be that!"

the old lady looked at Wylie with shock "But Wylie! You're going to make that move? It's much too dangerous to use and you know it" she tells her husband.

"Now you be quiet! There's no going back now!" Wylie replied.

"Huh? sounds like a super strong move that could hurt the Pokemon that uses it" Ash stated.

Eli sweat drop "why I have a feeling that Delphox isn't the one I should be worried about?" he questioned.

Maddie nods "agree" she said.

"Heads up" Clemont warns Chespin who looked at Delphox fully guard up.

"Now Mystical Fi-" Wylie yelled but was cut off when he feels a crack on his back making it fall as Delphox look at its trainer with embarrassment.

"Did I just jinx it?" Eli questioned. 

"Seems like it" Maddie responded.

"Sir, are you alright?" Clemont questioned with worry as Chespin's green aura vanishes.

The old lady runs up to her husband and check on him "Oh dear, now didn't I tell you that you'll hurt yourself Wylei? Poor thing" she said as Delphox sweat drops.

"I see she meant Wylie will get hurt not the Pokemon" Ash said

Gary sweat drop "you don't say...typical Ashy boy" he said.

Ash Glares "Can you stop that!" he angrily said to Gary.

"I said that's enough battling for today Wylie" the old lady said.

"Huh! I guess I'll let you have this victory" Wylie said which the old lady shook her head.

"Well, I suppose we should just call it a draw" she said.

-scene changed-

Calem finished bandaging Whitley's shoulder "well you're lucky that the burn wasn't too bad to leave you a scar" he said.

Whitley sighed "yeah, that's a relief" he said as he reaches out for his shirt and tries to put it on, but Calem stops him.

"Let me help" Calem offers which Whitley agrees and helps Whitley put on his shirt and vest "I suggest you to not put anything over that shoulder" Calem recommended me.

"You're good at this" Whitley complimented him.

"Thanks, My Dad's a doctor, so I kind of know about this kind of stuff from him" Calem explained.

Whitley nods "good to know" he said as he now gets up and they both walk downstairs seeing Ash and the others there before sitting next to his twin sister.

"I'm really sorry that we ended up Dragging all of you nice folks into our little family squabble" Wylie apologizes.

"We had a fight yesterday" the old lady explained.

"We can already tell" Eli responded as the other laugh nervously.

"Sorry about them sometimes they can be a bit... too dramatic, but I love my grandparent regardless" Calem then tells the group only to be babied by the old lady pinching his cheeks making him sweat drop.

Whitley watches the two and smiled a bit Maddie noticed her twin's expression but says nothing and smiles as well 'I guess I'm not alone in the closet, huh?' she thought to herself.

the old Lady looks over at the chair and sees a box "Oh what's that?" she asked her husband.

"Well, you see..." Wylie said as he opens the box and shows a cake "I bought it for you with the hopes that we could make up" he explained as Eli looks at them with awe.

"Wylie, now isn't that sweet?" the old lady said with awe before looking back her husband "I bet you were gonna apologize whether I won or lost, weren't you?" she asked.

"'course I was" Wylie responded.

"awe that's so cute" Eli stated.

"Well, then, I think we should all eat Wylie's apology, what do you say?" she offers to the group of teens.

"really?" Clemont asked as Bonnie's eyes lit up.

"hope is not a bother" Gary said as Eli and the twins nodded.

"Alright!" Ash cheered.

"Delish!" Serena also cheered.

-time skip-

Our heroes are now about to head off to Cyllage City

"You guys have to continue on walking straight to that path and you'll make to Cyllage City in no time" Calem explained to them.

"Thanks for the info, Calem" Whitley thanked the raven hair male.

Calem nodded "no problem, I really hope this isn't the last time we see" Calem tells him with a wink.

Whitley blushes a bit and fake cough.

"Chespin Dear, I can't thank you enough. I say that you're a very lucky Pokemon to have such a good and caring trainer" she said as Chespin cried happily.

"So, you didn't run away, because you don't like me?" Clemont asked which Chespin rapidly shook its head.

"See Clemont, I'd told you there was nothing to worry about" Eli said with a warm smile and cling on the blonde's arm making his face turn pink and laugh nervously

While Gary and Ash were watching the scene with a murderous aura Whitley sweat drops at the two "do I need to know?"

"Long story" the girls tells the confused white hair male.

Clemont bows to the old couple "thanks for everything" he said.

"Comeback anytime" the lady replied as they all did their goodbyes.

And so, a brief misunderstanding has helped Clemont and Chespin strengthen the bond between them along with the whole group reunited once more along with a additional companion Whitley Maddie's twin brother, another happy ending in our heroes' Many excited adventures, as the journey continues.
