Third Person POV

Setting their sights on entering the Kalos League Ash and Eli challenged and successfully defeated Viola and Anthony, the Santalune City Gym Leaders, and earned their first badge in the Kalos region!

"So, Serena where are you headed off to from here?" Bonnie asked as she was running with her.

"Uh, me?" Serena slowly stops running, "Well, I, uh, I-"

"Why don't you come along with us?" Bonnie suggested, "It'll be fun!"

"Yeah." Clemont agreed as he catches up to them, "Sounds like an excellent idea to me. You did also help Ash with his strategy against Viola."

"If you come with us, then you could help him out even more!" Bonnie stated with excitement.

"Hm." Serena thought about it before smiling, "Sure. How can I say no to all that?"

"Alright!" Bonnie cheers. "Yeah, that's the spirit!" Clemont nodded as he was also excited.

Bonnie suddenly gasps as she quickly grabs Serena's hand, "Come on! We have to catch up to them! Clemont step on it!"

Clemont was panting as he tries to catch up, "I'm doing my best."

-Time Skip-

All of them were back together as Ash, Gary, and Eli realized that they were a bit far ahead of the others. Serena showed them a map as she pointed out that they have to go through Lumiose City again, to go to the next Gym.

"Long as we're going to Lumiose City I'd like to take a shot at a Lumiose Gym battle." Ash stated as Pikachu was eager, "Pikachu."

"There's a gym there?" Eli turned to Ash as Sylveon was also curious, "Sylveon."

"Yeah, but when we told them that we have zero badges, they kicked us out," Ash explains as Eli thought about it. "Maybe it's because you didn't have the right number of badges to challenge them."

"Well, it's probably a good idea to keep in mind that you guys haven't been in the Kalos region long." Clemont commented, "I've got an idea. Why don't you guys utilize this time to catch another Kalos Pokémon?"

"Yeah, that's a great point." Ash agreed.

"In that case, see ya." Eli walks off as Gary does the same. "Huh?" Ash, Serena, Bonnie, and Clemont turn to them. "Where are you guys going?" Serena asks.

"We're gonna do what Clemont suggested." Eli answered as Gary stepped up, "Since we haven't been in this region for so long, why not take this time to explore since we're going to be heading to the next gym.

"Promise me if you two catch a cute Pokémon you'll let me take care of it?" Bonnie asks as Eli nods, "We promise."

"Yipe yeah!" Bonnie cheers as Gary and Eli explore a bit.

"So why are you exploring as well?" Eli turned to Gary as he was confused since he isn't competing in anything.

"It's because of what Anthony said about Vivillon," Gary answers as Eli remembers what he was talking about.

-Flash back-

"Wait, this looks different than what she has." Eli notices that the wings are different than the one Aria had when she was in Sinnoh.

"That's because Vivillon has 18 different forms," Anthony explains as it caught Gary's attention.

"So it has many forms..." Gary mumbles before he now knows what to look for in his research.

-Flash back ended-

"Oh right, he said that there are 18 different forms of Vivillons." Eli stated as Gary nodded, "It makes me want to catch it so I can do some research on them."

They suddenly hear some noise as Umbreon and Sylveon was ready. It came out of the bush as it was something that they haven't seen before.

"Hey, they look familiar with a Vivillon." Gary notices the Pokémon's appearance as Rogue pulls out his Pokédex.

'Scatterbug, the Scatterdust Pokémon. When under attack from bird Pokémon, it spews a poisonous black powder that causes paralysis on contact. The powder that covers its body regulates its temperature, so it can live in any region or climate.'

"That explains why they look familiar to a Vivillon." Eli stated as he shows it to Gary, "They're the first form to becoming a Vivillon."

"Umbre!" Umbreon nodded as they both were ready for battle. Suddenly another Pokémon comes out as they were protecting Scatterbug. The Pokémon look familiar to both of them, but they have different colors.

"Is that a Fennekin?" Eli asks as Gary's eyes widen. "It must be shiny!"

Thinking of a shiny Pokémon reminded him of a Pokémon that Ash had. "Shiny...Like Ash's Noctowl?" Eli ask as Gary nodded.

They were confused until Sylveon walked toward them and he stood in front of them. "Syl Sylveon!" Sylveon was protecting the shiny Fennekin and Scatterbug as everyone was confused

"Sylveon?" Eli was confused until he notices something with Scatterbug. He caught them leaning on Fennekin as he see a bruise on their left side.

"It's hurt..." Eli spoke as Gary looked at him with confusion. He points to the left side of Scatterbug as Gary sees that they're hurt. "Fennekin is protecting Scatterbug because they're hurt," Eli explains as he turns to Sylveon, "Is that way you to protect them?"

"Sylveon." Sylveon nodded as Eli kneel to the two wild Pokémon as Fennekin was growling at them. Eli put his hands up as he pulls out a potion, "This will help Scatterbug."

Fennekin was still on the defense as they turn to Scatterbug before walking back a little. Eli turn to Scatterbug, he sprays the potion on the wound as Gary walks to them as he had some bandages.

Scatterbug looks at the bandages as they feel better. "Scatter!" Scatterbug smiled as Fennekin was also happy.

They suddenly hear multiple things charging as the wild Fennekin grabs Scatterbug as they got away. "No!" Eli whined as Gary was also disappointed, "Wait don't...!"

Both males sulk as their Pokémon felt the same. "Hey Gary, Eli!" Both males turn to see Ash and the others coming to them, "What's wrong with you guys?"

"We found a Pokémon, but they ran away because of a noise," Gary explains as he patted Eli on the back. "That's the thing," Ash started to explain, "We need to show you, guy, something."

They follow Ash and the others as they see a racing track field. Eli and Gary turned to see that there was Officer Jenny there.

"So, these two are your guy's friends?" Officer Jenny asks. "Yeah, they just explore a bit because they were looking for some Pokémon," Ash explains as Officer Jenny nodded.

"I see, well it's a good thing that you guys were out of the track." Officer Jenny stated as both Gary and Eli were confused. "The course starts here at the village square goes through the forest and comes back."

"Things are heating up here on day two of the exciting Rhyhorn race!" A male stated upon a stance, "In the lead is number five, Ian!"

Wow, a Rhyhorn race! Never seen one before!" Ash stated as Gary and Eli agreed with him.

"Rhyhorn races are really popular in the Kalos region." Clemont explains as Ash got excited, "This is so awesome to watch!"

"Rhyhorn are so cute, too!" Bonnie squeals. "You know, they even have special Rhyhorn racetracks in bigger cities." Serena explains, "This course is kind of easy."

"Really?" Eli turned to Serena as he was caught off by her words. "You sure know a lot about this."

"Well, I guess so." Serena shrugs her shoulder. "Okay, an official Rhyhorn race consists of six Rhyhorns. See?"

Serena points at the screen as they are six of them. "Wow!" Ash commented.

"There's a special Rhyhorn race anyone can participate in tomorrow." Officer Jenny explains, "If you guys are interested, you might wanna give that race a try."

"You mean it? Great! I'm in!" Ash stated as Pikachu was excited, "Pika Pika!" Eli nodded as Sylveon felt the same, "Syl Syl!" Gary also nodded as he also wants to give it a try, "Umbre Umbre!"

-Time Skip-

They went to a small field as there were many Rhyhorns there. "Choose your Rhyhorn for the race from these right here." A woman explains.

"Cool!" Ash looks around and sees them. "Go ahead and pick any Rhyhorn that interested you." The woman explains.

"We can choose our own?" Gary asks. "Sure!" The woman answers.

"Well..." Officer Jenny waves as she walks off, "I need to get back to work. Have a great race, bye."

"We will." Eli stated, "Thanks for your help, Officer Jenny."

"I wonder which one I should choose." Ash mumbles. "Each one of them is so cute!" Bonnie stated.

Ash was going behind a Rhyhorn as Serena panicked. "Ash, don't do that! If you approach a Rhyhorn from behind it might begin to panic and then run. Do this, come in front the front and move very slowly."

Serena moves slowly to a Rhyhorn as they were startled. "There there, it's okay." Serena slowly pets Rhyhorn as they were pleased, "Rhy..."

"See?" Serena turns to see them being impressed. "Amazing," Ash spoke as Serena chuckled.

"Sounds good." Ash stated as he turns to the Rhyhorn, "Then I choose you. Nice to meet you Rhyhorn." He pets Rhyhorn as they were friendly, "Rhyhorn."

"Wow, I'm impressed!" Clemont spoke, "Serena you're so good at handling Rhyhorn."

"Thank you." Serena blushed from embarrassment, "See the truth is my mother was a Rhyhorn racer and so she made sure I knew how to handle them from the time I was a little girl."

Eli turned to Serena as something in her words made him think of something. "So does that mean you want to be a Rhyhorn racer too, Serena?"

Serena shook her head, "Rhyhorn racing is fine, but I wonder. There may be something I might like to do even more so I haven't made any decision just yet."

'So that's it...' Eli spoke in his thought as he caught what was Serena doing.

"It sounds like you want to find your path." Gary stated as Serena nodded, "Mm-hmm."

"Hey, Serena." Ash turns to her, "Since you know so much about Rhyhorn racing do you think you can teach us some of the basics like the rules and how to ride?"

"You mean me?" Serena asks as she was startled. "Yeah," Eli nodded, "You know about Rhyhorn racing better than any of us. So, it would help you can teach us."

"Please Serena?" Bonnie pleads, "You're the expert."

"Well, I guess so." Serena agrees as Ash cheers, "Alright!"

"we're counting on you Serena" Eli said with a smile

However, what they didn't know was that they were being watched from a distance. "The twerp and the Pikachu. We've been looking for those two."

It was Team Rocket as they were hiding in a distance. "And they've got Rhyhorn racing on the brain," James stated.

"When you've got a Rhyhorn, you've got something!" Meowth stated. "Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet agreed.

"They've got the power to spare. And reeling in a Rhyhorn and Pikachu is sure to earn us the Boss's seal of approval." Jessie stated darkly. "Grade A." James agreed as Meowth was the same, "Yeah. So let's catch 'em. What do you say?"

"Wobbuffet," Wobbuffet commented as they were now eager.

~Meanwhile~

Serena comes out as she wore a pink jumpsuit, "Okay, I'm all set!" Bonnie chuckles as she sees her outfit, "You look great!"

"Awesome! These look good!" Ash stated as he puts on a blue jumpsuit. "Yeah, I'm surprised how comfortable they are." Gary complimented as he had a black jumpsuit on. "Yeah," Eli agreed as he was wearing a pair of the White jumpsuit.

"They call it Rhyhorn race fashion," Serena stated as Ash chuckled.

"First you approach the Rhyhorn slowly so you won't startle it," Serena explains as she was demonstrating it. "Okay." Ash does the same as he slowly approaches the Rhyhorn.

Serena groans as she smacks her face a little. "Are you okay?" Clemont asks as the others were concerned.

"Even getting on one of these is tougher than I thought," Ash stated. "Of course. You need to practice." Serena stated as Ash stood up, "Right! Practice!"

that's when second later everyone notice a certain Cerulean hair trainer already sitting on a "Huh?!" Their eyes widen as Ash goes to him. "How did you, do it?!" Ash asks as Eli just look at him with confusion, "I just did what Serena just said. I slowly approach the Rhyhorn, and I jump on, and I just mimic what I saw on the screen."

Ash froze as he went back to the Rhyhorn, "Here goes." Ash tries again but he got stuck again before falling off of them.

Time after time after time Ash tries to get on Rhyhorn but he fails. "Oh, no." Bonnie frowns as Pikachu was the same, "Pikachu."

"There's got to be a trick for Ash," Clemont commented. He turns to Gary as he sees that he wasn't trying, "How come your not gonna try?"

"I'm not sure how to do it. Plus, I didn't see how Eli did it so I don't want to end up like Ash." Gary explains.

"Do you think you could show how it's done, Serena?" Ash asks. "Uh? Uh..." Serena was nervous as Eli was confused by her reaction.

"Come on!" Ash insisted, "If I don't know how to get on how am I gonna be able to enter the race?"

"Oh okay." Serena gave in, "Now watch me closely." She shows them how to get on Rhyhorn, "Do this, and your up."

"That's great!" Ash nodded as Gary now knows how to do it. "Serena, you're awesome!" Bonnie cheers. "Well, I'm certainly impressed." Clemont complimented.

"Really?" Serena asks before looking at Ash and Gary, "Well if you want your Rhyhorn to walk signal lightly with your feet." She tap her foot on the Rhyhorn as they were moving.

"Look at it go! So cute!" Bonnie squeals. "Hold on, did you do that too Eli?" Clemont ask as Eli shook his head, "No I just told them to move over there and they just did it."

"Okay, so how do you run?" Gary asks. "How do you run?" Serena repeated.

"Rhyhorn!" Suddenly the Rhyhorn became energetic as it suddenly shakes Serena off of her. "Serena!" Eli got off of his Rhyhorn as they went to her, "What just happened?" Eli asked

"Ow..." Serena groans. Suddenly more Rhyhorn started to circle Serena as she became nervous.

Everyone became nervous for Serena until they hear Serena laughing. "Huh?"

"Stop! That tickles! That tickles!"

"What's going on?" Ash asks as everyone looks to see what's happening. "It looks like she's laughing." Clemont answers, "The Rhyhorn seems to like Serena."

"Hey, that's not fair!" Bonnie pouts before jumping with excitement, "I want all those cutie Rhyhorn's to tickle me too!" She then rushes to the Rhyhorn as Clemont got nervous, "Wait, Bonnie! Huh?"

"So cute!" Bonnie squeals as a Rhyhorn was nuzzling her. "Rhyhorn are such sweeties!"

"Rhyhorn." Eli turns to see the Rhyhorn that he was riding on. They suddenly bit his collar as they were dragging them to the rest of them. "Wait, wait, wait, oi!

"Gah!" Everyone was shocked to see some of the Rhyhorn now licking him too. "Oi stop!" Eli yelled between his laughs, "S-Stop, haha, please stop I'm begging"

Ash, Gary, and Clemont blush a bit seeing the interaction. Sylveon caught their facial expression as he coldly looks at them.

"Umbre." Umbreon comes in as they patted Sylveon's shoulders. "Sylveon." Sylveon turns her head as Umbreon sweat dropped.

-Time Skip-

The sun was going down as Eli, Serena, and Bonnie were dirty. "Guess we're a muddy mess." Serena chuckles. "But it was so fun!" Bonnie squeals

"Pika Pika!" They turn to see Pikachu trying to encourage Ash as he was trying to ride Rhyhorn. "You've almost got it! That's the way!" Clemont cheers.

"Yay! Ride them, Ash!" Bonnie raises her fist as Dedenne cheers, "Denne!"

Ash was grunting as he was still on Rhyhorn. "How am I doing?" Ash asks.

"You're getting the hang of it, Ash!" Eli complimented. "Close your mouth! You'll bite your tongue! Keep going!" Serena instructed, "Be one with Rhyhorn! Huh?"

It was like she remembers something as she stares at Ash as he was now riding Rhyhorn. "Wow! It worked!" Ash smiles.

"Way to go Ash!" Clemont cheers. "Now you can ride enter the race," Bonnie stated.

"And to lose against me." Gary stated as Ash turn to him, "Oh yeah? We'll see about that!"

'Ash tries his hardest at everything he does.' Serena thought to herself. 'Maybe I didn't understand Rhyhorn racing in the first place.'

"Huh?" Eli turns to Serena as he notices her distance look, "What's on your mind?"

"O-Oh!" Serena turns to Eli as she smiles, "It's nothing to worried about. Just thinking about tomorrow."

Eli nodded but he knows that was not the truth as he recognizes that look.

-Time Skip-

It was late at night as everyone was sleeping. Well except Serena as she was in the kitchen baking.

"Fennekin." Serena's Fennekin spoke with curiosity. "We need to stay quiet." Serena stated as Fennekin nodded, "Fennekin."

"I hope they turn out alright." Serena hopes to herself as she closes the oven.

"I knew that something was wrong." Serena and Fennekin quickly turn to see Eli and Sylveon.

"Eli" Serena's eyes widen as Fennekin was the same

"Fennekin" the fire fox cried.

"The moment you answered my question, I already know that you are lost in something." Eli explains as Sylveon jumps on the counter, "So come on, tell me" He adds

"It's not-"

"Nothing, you're not the only one who would get lost at figuring out what to do in their life." Eli cut Serena off.

"Huh?" Serena asks as she sees Eli petting Sylveon

"The thing is, I also was lost at what to do." Eli explains, "At first I wanted to become a trainer, but I also didn't know what kind of trainer I wanted to be. Ash wants to be a Pokémon Master, Gary wants to become a Pokémon Researcher, but yet all I've ever done was quickly change my paths. I would be either a trainer or a coordinator, never decided on a big goal"

"Then what happened?" Serena asks, "How did you decide on what you want to do?"

Eli chuckles as he looks at her. "It sounds cheesy, but I had some friends, and also my family, I can tell that you have a few issues with your mom since you seem to know so much about Rhyhorn racing, but yet, you want to do your own things" he tells her

Serena's eyes widen as she looks down, knowing that he's right. "But you got to say that to her," Serena gaps as she sees Eli being serious. "You need to tell her that you don't want to become a Rhyhorn racer. You want to be something different. Only then you can take the next step at finding your way in life" he says.

It was like the words hit Serena as she gasps. "It's getting late so I'm gonna go to bed. Don't stay up to late, kay?" Eli stated as both he and Sylveon go to bed, "Also, don't forget that you have friends you can talk to. We're not gonna judge you for you have opinions, so be you."

Serena watches Eli and Sylveon leave. Fennekin notices Serena's expression as they rub on her arm, "Fennekin."

"Huh?" Serena gasped as she turns to see Fennekin as she stares at them. Both trainer and Pokémon look at each other as Serena smiles.

"Let's go to bed once they're done." Serena suggested as Fennekin smiled, "Fennekin!"

'If only he was a girl...'

-Time Skip-

"Folks, welcome to the Rhyhorn race's final day the day when any racer can join in!"

Ash, Gary, and Eli were at the starting line as the three Kanto boys were ready to race. "Yay, Eli! You're gonna win!" Bonnie cheers.

"How come you're cheering for him?" Clemont asks. "Well, it's because he's gonna be my future brother-in-law." Bonnie stated as Clemont blushed, "Bonnie!"

"You heard her Rhyhorn." Eli sighs as he pets Rhyhorn. "Rhyhorn." Rhyhorn sweat dropped at Bonnie's words.

"Not I have anything to do about it!" Ash challenge as Gary smirks, "We'll see when I cross that finish line!"

"Get set, go!"

They wave the flag as the race starts. Gary and Eli were able to take off as Ash was slowly catching up, making him fall behind a bit. However, Team Rocket was hiding in the woods where the track leads off.

"The Rhyhorn will be here any minute!" Meowth informed. "Time to launch our plan," Jessie stated. "Okay, Inkay?" James turns to Inkay.

"Inkay!" Inkay flies to one of the cameras as they squirted ink at it.

"Huh?" Everyone was confused as they see a screen being cut off. "What happened?" Serena asks. "Must be a technical glitch." Clemont guessed.

Inkay does it again as another screen turns black. "Uh-oh. We lost our live feed!" The spectator spoke as soon all screens were cutting off, "Something must've happened on the course, but what?"

"We should go!" Serena suggested as they went off to see what was going on.

-Meanwhile-

Ash was still in the race as he notices that the other Rhyhorn was nowhere to be found. "That's weird. Where are the other Rhyhorn?"

"Pikachu, Rhyhorn!" Ash yells as he tries to break free, "What's going on around here?"

"Ash!" He heard a voice calling for him as he sees Eli, Gary, and the other racers in the same predicament he was in, "Oh!"

"Mission accomplished." They hear a voice as they turn to where it was coming from, "Ah! Who said that?" Ash demanded.

"Prepare for trouble, who do you think?"

"And make it double, with a nod and a wink."

"To protect the world from devastation."

"To unit all people within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love."

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Jessie."

"And James."

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light."

"Surrender now or prepare for a fight."

"Meow, that's right!"

"Wobbuffet!"

"Team Rocket!" Ash yells, "Always trying to mess everything up."

"Pish posh. We win and you lose." James started as a screen pulls out as he taps it. The cage started to connect to where the other Rhyhorn areas both Ash's Rhyhorn and Pikachu were scared.

"All aboard the Rhyhorn express! Do we have Rhyhorn? Yes!" Meowth sings as he gets on the steering wheel.

"And just what are you guys gonna do with them?" Ash demanded. "It's just a bore if you have to ask." Jessie answers, "They'll help us conquer the world, silly."

"Uh-huh! Don't you dare walk away!" Eli threatened as he glares at them. James turns to Eli before going back to the other, "It's him..."

"Since you're all tied up, we bid you bye-bye." Jessie waves as they take off. "I want Pikachu back!" Ash demanded.

"Save it, Twerp." Jessie waves off, "Got to fly."

Suddenly multiple small flames and silk target Meowth as it blinds him, making the vehicle crash as Team Rocket fell off of it. "Uh, check please," Meowth stated as he was confused.

"Fennekin/Scatter." Meowth groans as he sees two Pokémon running past them.

"Ash, Gary, Eli!" The three Kanto boys turn to see Clemont as he smiles, "Looks like we made it in time."

"Clemont!" Ash smiles. Meanwhile Gary and Eli notice two Pokémon coming toward them as they recognize them. "It's you two!" Eli's eyes widen as they chew on the rope.

"Are you guys okay?" Serena and Bonnie run towards them. "Serena! Bonnie!" Gary turns as he sees them. "Man am I glad to see you guys," Ash stated.

"We had a feeling something bad was happening, but we never thought it would be like this," Clemont explains. "Bad is right!" Bonnie nodded, "Its Team Rocket!"

"Little brat." Jessie stated as they stand up, "You'll pay for that mouth."

"Fennekin!" Serena's Fennekin jump in front. "Huh? Oh, you want to help them?" Serena asks.

"Fennekin!" Fennekin nodded as they growl. However, another Fennekin and a Scatterbug join in as everyone was confused.

"Mind if we join?" They turn to see Eli and Gary as Eli was with the other Fennekin and Gary with the Scatterbug.

"Sure, let's do it! Fennekin, Ember!" Serena stated as Eli joined in, "Fennekin, you use Ember as well!"

"Fennekin!" Both of the released small flames as they hit Team Rocket. James accidentally drops the controller as Clemont picks up a rock. "For the future of science!"

"No!" Jessie and James go after Clemont to stop them. "Quick, Scatterbug, use String Shot!" Gary quickly stated.

"Scatter!" Silk was blown from Scatterbug's mouth as it bound both of them.

"Ha!" Clemont smashes the controller with the rock as the cages were now unlocked. "Rhy!" Rhyhorn yell angrily as more cages were now open.

"All of a sudden I don't feel so good." Meowth quivers. "It feels kind of drafty out here," Jessie stated. "You're feeling the winds of wipeout," James stated.

"Hey relax!" Meowth yells as the Rhyhorn close in on them. "Getting upset is bad for our health!"

The Rhyhorn had enough as they charge at Team Rocket. Making them fly in the air.

"We're blasting off again!/Wobbuffet!"

"Awesome!" Ash cheers, "Thank you, everyone."

"Sure thing. Are you guys okay?" Clemont asks. "You bet!" Ash answers.

"Thanks for the help Fennekin." Eli stated as Gary nodded, "You too Scatterbug." Gary added

"Fennekin/Scatterbug." Both Pokémon nodded as they smile.

They hear a vehicle coming as they turn to see Officer Jenny. "Is everybody here alright?" She asks.

"Officer Jenny!" Ash smiles as they turn to her. "Yes, we're all fine!" Clemont explains.

"I need everybody to keep this area clear." Officer Jenny explains, "I'll be coming to you individually to get your statements later."

"Huh?" Gary and Eli noticed that Fennekin and Scatterbug were gone again as they were confused. "No..." Eli sulk again as they lost their chance again.

-Time Skip-

They were at the Pokémon Center as they were in a middle of a call. "Nice to meet you. My name's Ash. This is my buddy Pikachu." Ash introduce, "Pika Pika!"

"I'm Clemont. Hi there..." Clemont joined in as Bonnie jumps in. "My name's Bonnie! This is Dedenne!" Bonnie shows Dedenne, "Denne!"

"Alright you guys move or you'll end up hurting each other." Eli shooed them off as they went to the screen. "I'm Eli, and this is Sylveon." He introduces themselves as Sylveon comes up, "Syl Syl!"

"Yo, I'm Gary, and this is Umbreon!" Gary introduces himself with Eli as Umbreon joins in, "Umbreon!"

"Hey, take a look at Fennekin." Serena and the others come into the screen, "You see Fennekin's my brand-new partner." She tells the woman who Ash and the others assumed is Serena's mother.

"Nice to meet you. I hope you'll take good care of my daughter." A woman smiles as she chuckles. She has blue eyes and brown hair, with a yellow hairpin.

She wears a simple black t-shirt, a tracksuit, whose sleeves have been tied in a knot, and some orange shoes. She also has pink lipstick on.

"You know what Serena did?" Ash spoke with excitement, "She taught us how to ride a Rhyhorn!"

"Ash, you didn't have to tell that, did you?" Serena and Eli were nervous as she tries to shush him. "Hey, it's the truth. And there's more! She told us to be one with Rhyhorn and that helped the most! Ugh!"

Serena quickly pushes Ash. "Mom, guess what? You see I've decided I'm gonna travel with them. Isn't that the best?"

"Really? That's great." Serena's mom smiles, "Have a great time."

"Hm? Mom?" Serena was confused by her mom's words. "I mean it. It would be a wonderful experience for you. I'm sure." Serena's mom explains.

They went outside as Serena comes to them, "I'm going with you! Isn't that great?"

"Yeah, it sure is." Ash stated as Pikachu was delighted, "Pika!"

"We're gonna have so many fun adventures!" Clemont stated as Bonnie smiles, "And we'll be best friends!"

Sylveon and Umbreon's ears twitch as they turn. The others turn to see Scatterbug and Fennekin.

"Oh! It's a Fennekin!" Serena's eyes widen as Clemont adjust his glasses, "It's also a Scatterbug."

"But how come Fennekin looks different?" Bonnie asks. Gary and Eli walk up front as they look at them. "What are you two doing here?" Eli asks.

"Fenne." Fennekin looks at Scatterbug as they were having small talk. "Scatter!" Scatterbug replied as they both turned to Gary and Eli, "Fennekin/Scatterbug!"

"Hey, I think they want you guys to catch it!" Ash stated as both males were shocked. "Really?" Gary asks as he has never experienced something like this.

"Scatterbug!" Scatterbug nodded as Fennekin jumps up, "Fennekin!"

"Okay!" Both of them yell, "Go Poke ball!" They both throw their ball as Gary's hit Scatterbug, and Eli's hit Fennekin.

Both of them went inside as the balls clicks. "Ah!" Both of them smile as they pick up their ball.

"Alright, I got caught a Fennekin/Scatterbug!" Both cheered as Sylveon and Umbreon jumps up, "Syl Sylveon/Umbre Umbreon!"

"Awesome! Now you both caught your first Pokémon here!" Ash cheers as Pikachu was excited, "Pika Pikachu!"

"But how come Fennekin looked different?" Bonnie asks. "That's because Fennekin is a shiny Pokémon." Eli answers as Bonnie squeals. "So cool! I want to pet them!"

After doing their best at the Rhyhorn race our heroes now have two new friends as more new adventures and more new friends await as the journey continues.
